My Spooky Month predictions*
Episode 6-Candy Dealer: There's too many little things (even jokes from animators after Tender Treats came out) that imply he's the next villain. Bonus points if he's Robert's dad. I'm saving my personal theory on the actual events of the episode for a future post.

These next 3 are less certain but still fairly likely
Episode 7-Hatzgang: Roy's been getting more and more development with every episode and I think episode 7 would be the most likely to round out his arc. PLEASE NOTE I don't think Roy will be the villain, just a focus character, there's a good chance we haven't met this episode's baddie yet. (High probability of emotional damage)
Episode 8-Giant Spider: Not much to go off of other than the spider being teased as a monster for the board game and spiders having eight legs, maybe there's a twist like the spiders' babies being the real threat.
Episode 9-Frank: Like with Roy, Frank probably won't be the real villain, probably either a new villain or Mr. Clown (that slimy toad is def coming back). We'll likely learn why Frank became a kidnapper and why his eyes are the way they are. This is placed as episode 9 because, unlike Roy, Frank hasn't had much development thus far.
Episode 10-Cult and Skidad: My personal theory is there being a grand showdown with Skid, his dad and the cult on one side and Pump and Eyes on the other. I feel Pelo (being the glorious bastard he is) would throw in the extra stake of the boys friendship being tested.
*This is all assuming none of the below teased episodes were among the two to get scrapped.
Volume 2 of Spooky Month headcanons
John is related to Robert and Radford through his brother's/their dad's side. Their last name is Krell.
Ross's last name is Gaines.
Rick enjoys (if I can use that word) listening to satirical songs (think Kevin Temmer Tunes).
After the events of Deadly Smiles Rad forced Rick in to therapy which is why he escapes Bob int the next episode.
John's parents were fairly straight laced and this reflected in him being a tattletale at school which along with his small size lead to him being bullied a lot. Lila, Jaune, Frank and Shawn (Pump's dad) were basically his only friends until Jack and his family came to town.
Patty went through a LONG edgy phase and she has a tongue piercing.
Mayor Evermore's middle name is George.
More of a funny idea then proper headcanon but one of the thieves being named Keith.
Spooky Month 6 prediction: All That's Sweet Is Not Sugar
The episode will open with a seemingly normal night with the spookeez going to the candy club and Kevin getting annoyed as usual. However as he's about to usher them out they notice that a few people on the street are acting a little funny.
A similar situation happens with John, Jack and Rick at Gonuts, presumably with Rick quitting his latest job at some point.
The two groups try to navigate the situation as the "sugared up" townsfolk grow more dangerous along with shorter scenes of other characters dealing with the "outbreak".
One of the starring characters eventually ends up ingesting something sugar-laced and this results in a dedicated horror scene
The Candy Dealer is revealed to be responsible for the sugar-spiking relatively early into the episode, but it isn't until the last act that we see his real face or discover the true nature of the sugar (possibly an experimental chemical being tested by the dealer who's really a mad scientist).
The thugs who held Kevin at gunpoint in Unwanted Guest will act as the Candy Dealer's enforcers/bodyguards.
In the end the Dealer's own victims swarm him in a blind rage (Adding angst potential if Robert or John end up being involved in his death, that is, if he is related to them).
Personally, I don't think the Candy Dealer is directly working with the cult, but like the manufacturers of the happy fella dolls, is being accounted for by them in their plans (calling back to the OST cover that shows the cultists as the chess masters of all the other characters).
To be frank, I don't think we have enough information to speculate on the secret ending.

The idea his real name is actually Tom but he goes by Robert is SO fucking funny, this is the type of thing fandom was always meant to do when working together.

0: His smoking, I'm not kidding, it just enhances the feeling that when he's on screen, whatever's going on is probably more serious than the average SM fair. No other indie animation makes such subtle but effective use of smoking as John.
1: I love how Pelo took his original, fairly standard horror-media-cop, design and gave it a unique identity while still keeping the basic feel of a stereotypical gruff sheriff you'd see in a classic slasher flick. Bonus points for slyly hinting that he's related to Rob and Rad
A few months back I had a dream about a Spooky Month episode involving some sort of mutant newt/axolotl and the mad genetecits/vet who created it and asked someone to look after it but it got loose and starts multiplying.
Since then I've been thinking about what that episode's credits would look like and I think the mad scientist would be pressed against an aquarium glass while dipping in the mutant in the water as it goes after the other characters who are all different sea creatures.
Here are the ideas so far:
Patty-jellyfish (since they kind of look like a surgical cap)
Hatzgang-piranhas (I really like this one, after all they're little jerks that always stick together)
Rick-stone fish (look up a stone fish and tell it doesn't look like it's done with life)
Richard and Carmen-lobsters (because lobster is expensive)
Skid and Pump- little clown fish (since they're black,white and orange)
Mr. Wonder- octopus (this one's just sort of based on vibes)
John and/or Jack- sword fish (since sword fish have police-ish colors)
Frank-Snapping turtle (with a white shell to represent his van)
Lila-angel fish (because she's like a guardian angel)
Ignacio-hermit crab (because he's reclusive)
Candy Dealer-eel (since they're often depicted as slippery and shady)
Those are all the ones I've got for now, feel free to suggest more for the characters I haven't covered.

Recently I’ve made two posts about a spooky month au I’ve been working on and I’ve been rlly hyped about it and I’m happy to announce that I finally have some designs for it!!
Information about the au can be found under the cut!!
The au takes place 3 years into the future, meaning that the gang is now 16-18. Basically the plot is that Roy runs away from home and decides to cut ties with his family (I looked it up and you can move out at least 16 in Mexico, at least I think) he decides to go stay at Ross’s house while he figures out what to do, Ross and his parents agree as long as he doesn’t break any rules (which are basically the same as Ross’s rules growing up, they aren’t very strict but they aren’t like go crazy either)
Encase you’re wondering about Robert, Ross does tell him what’s happening later on that night through text but during that whole thing he wasn’t there physically or anything
And the story pretty much progresses from there, the story will contain polyhatz in it however it may focus on Ross and Roy more just because their living together
The story will mainly focus on the hatzgang and it probably will discuss some trauma and issues characters have, however I want it to at least be cheerful some of the time
I don’t have a name for it yet so feel free to give me suggestions!!
Autism
If I haven't told anyone I am a fan of spooky month and I just watched the newest episode. Because I'm lazy and depressed and it took me a little while to actually sit down and watch something. So now I want to write a fan comic they'll be super dark and angsty and mainly just me thinking about my own problem through the mouth of a recognizable character. woah
So like if any of y'all want to see a very depressing comic about sweet baby boy Roy that I am more than happy to oblige.
Sorry I haven't been able to make more junk whether that be fan fiction or art. So my mental health just kind of took a dip not because of anything bad I mean yeah nothing's really going good recently but like it's not cuz it's bad it's just cuz that's how my mental health do just sometimes I'm sad to the point of not wanting to get out of bed. I did manage to squeeze this drawing into my class time though so thought I'd share that.
I love Roy for a lot of reasons but one of the biggest reasons is cuz finally Roy is a ginger I don't want to smack with a bat in Media.
As a ginger my entire life is just like there's a redhead and there they are being an absolute villain and being a bitch. Which TBH Roy also falls into but he also has somewhat of a character arc some sprinkled in story to his background and he's getting better he's being nicer he's growing. Not to mention that I kind of relate to him. And his problems.
Got this fan comic idea in my head and before someone comes after me yes I know I have a whole bunch of projects I'm working on I'm only human I'll do everything on my own pace cuz all hobby and while I appreciate people reading and enjoying my story I am not going to let someone bully me into writing a chapter a day. If I write three chapters in one day or if I don't write a chapter in a couple of months that's my own business.
No, I am not using a character from a property I already like to vent my own past trauma. What do you think I am stupid? You think I would make an entire comic about a character that shares similar childhood trauma to me? That's funny. Oh, and now you're saying that I'm just exposing myself on Tumblr by saying it in a very common and ironic way? Shut up shut your bitch ass up. I know where you live, Becky.
Got done with the cover of my fan comic though I don't have a name yet also huge content warning about sensitive topics and implied SA.
Plus, without being arrogant, I have to say I'm really proud of the bruising I went through a couple of examples put together a color palette and for my first time drawing bruises comes out looking pretty passible not the best but pretty okay.
Plus, I very much appreciate it with ideas about what I should name it. I almost considered naming it "mission: candy store" but I felt like a is too funny for the theme of the story and be it was sort of insensitive. Because despite me being a victim and me thinking it's funny not everyone's going to think it's cool.
