people with did/osdd CAN have good relationships with their parents/family/caretakers, that doesn’t mean all of them will have good relationships with everyone but for us at least a lot of our trauma comes from doctors/medical stuff and hallucinations/sleep paralysis, sure our parents could have done better in some areas but so could we (but we still love them & appreciate everything they’ve done for us <3)

nod nod! We have a present good relationship with our parents and we really don't like the idea that systems have to hate their family or their caretakers. Obviously not all systems will have good relationships with them but not all systems with have bad relationships with them too!

Mhm, it's also important to keep in mind that it doesn't have to be blackout amnesia, it can be grey-out, emotional, partial, ect. As long as you have amnesia it fits the criteria. It's also important to keep in mind people will have different levels of amnesia (especially those with osdd1-B who have little to no amnesia)
