Don't look up is real life i guess
Trigger warning : it kinda gets depressing so if you don't wanna read i understand and have a great day.
I have just watch Don't look up ( if you haven't watch it watch it its good) and i am pretty sure everybody has come to the same realizion but the world is kinda ending now. Just slower and not as cool.
The climet is all kinds of fucked. I live in denmark and in the summer there was barely any rain which is rare. Just look at England with its heat waves. England which is a country known (and meme) for it sucky weather yet now has heat waves. If that is not the sign idk what is.
I know we are trying to do things but are we doing enough. Coz it feels like we are barely doing anything to help.
But the thing i think about right now which is a big thing through out the movie. Stop now if you don't wanna get spoiled.

I myself has kinda pushed it to the back of my mind. Oh for sure i hear about it and my reactions 9 out of 10 times is:
"Oh that sad welp and we need to do something but its gonna be fine. I will properly be dead by the time the world has gone to shits. So i don't need to jack shits"
So maybe we need to drastic thing to help. More green energi. More buying local and maybe doing the thing the old fashion ways so less co2.
Or maybe i am just talking shit out of my ass and i will never do anything i will just go with what ever my goverment does.
anywas yeah the movie is good (i have already said that) So go and watch it

The movie is good and the world is fuck but I (we) will never do enough to save the planet if we don't do it drastic live but we wont because we are to contable. But maybe i don't know what i am saying

The Netflix film, “Don’t Look Up” doesn’t deserve any hate I mean, wow. It’s honestly a good movie.
i know this completely disregards what the movie was about but i don’t care 🤣🤣🤣 dr. randall mindy is autistic sorry it’s true he literally gets called “a little slow” in the movie
also i think dr. mindy and chidi anagonye would be friends (both autistic [headcanon.]…both professors…connect the dots.)

I think its good they had no chemistry. They're desperate and grieving for the future and heartbroken so the relationship is more about them coping than loving each other. Kind of beautiful in a tragic way.

Awful
The sound of a hacking cough pulled me from my slumber. I rolled over and blindly patted the empty space in bed beside me. "Where's Yule?" I wondered until I heard the cough again.
I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I walked to our apartment's living room, where I spotted Yule on the couch. He looked so small as he hugged his legs and rested his forehead on his knees. He didn't even hear you approach and startled as you sat beside him and rubbed his back.
"I'm sorry for [cough] waking you up."
I flashed him a pitying half-smile. "That's okay, baby. In sickness and in health, remember?"
"I feel awful," Yule whined miserably as he all but fell onto my chest when I opened my arms to beckon him over for cuddles. My fingers carded through his long hair in an effort to soothe him. I could feel the heat of his fever radiating off his body.
I grew concerned when I could both feel and hear his breath rattling in his lungs. "You're going to the doctor in the morning," I stated firmly, giving him little room to argue. Yule hates doctors and hospitals, so I was shocked when all I got in response was a weak nod. He must feel really bad.
He quickly fell asleep, and I didn't have the heart to move him. I slowly laid back to get comfortable and put him into a reclining position to breathe easier. I found myself jolting awake through the rest of the night to check on him.
When morning came, I eased myself out from behind him to get my phone and make an appointment with his doctor. It turned out that he had pneumonia, so I sent him straight to bed after we picked up his antibiotics from the pharmacy. It was hard to get lucid Yule to sit still, but I was able to bribe him with cuddles and potato soup - his favorite.

Kate sat next to her fiancé of five hours at the Mindy family's dinner table. Yule stared absently at the centerpiece, not even reacting to her presence. She laid her hand on his.
"Are you alright? Your hands are trembling," she asked quietly.
Her touch shook him from his thoughts. He looked at her and half-smiled. "Y-Yeah, I'm cool." He straightened his back and sat up in the chair. He interlaced his fingers with hers.
"I- I just thought we would have more time," he said. "I would have liked actually marrying you."

Yule felt the mattress shift as his fiancée all but jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. She didn't have enough time to close the door behind herself, so he clearly heard her retching. He groggily rubbed his eyes as he shuffled to the door behind her.
"Y'alright?" His words slurred together sleepily.
She groaned as she was hit by another wave of dry heaving. A line of spit stretched down from her mouth before she wiped it away with the back of her hand. Yule quietly padded over and sat next to her. She leaned her head on his shoulder, whimpering slightly as they both leaned against the tub on the cold floor. He rested his cheek on her hair in return and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, gently rubbing small circles on her arm.
"I can run to the pharmacy if you need anything," he said softly.
She nodded and cleared her parched throat. "Can you get me some gingerale?"
"Of course, love."
"And maybe...maybe a pregnancy test?"
Yule's hand stilled. He pulled back slightly to look down at his fiancée in disbelief. He was very awake now.
"Y- you think you may be-?"
She half-smiled weakly as she looked up at him. "We haven't exactly been careful, Yule," she replied, earning a nervous chuckle from her fiancé that quickly fell into serious silence. After a few beats, she asked, "Are you...are you okay with that possibility?"
"Wha- oh, yes!" Yule exclaimed, bringing his focus back to her. "Yes. So much yes. This...this is more than okay. I just...I can't believe I'm going to be a dad."
"Well, let's test first to be sure."
"Oh, right! I'll be right back." He excitedly scrambled to his feet.
She started to rise but was quickly remanded to the floor again by nausea. "I'll be right here."

i just finished don’t look up and wow okay. first of all when i actually think about a situation like this, it actually scares me because i’m pretty sure our society would act the same way and actually care about money over everything. i mean cmon if the gov is told that they will receive 32 trillion dollars or whatever ofc they’re gonna freak and want it. like i hope the gov doesn’t do that shit because then we really know the world is fucked up, and humanity has gone downhill
and second… this movie has got me having second thoughts on timothee. never really found him that attractive but this (believe it or not) is the first movie i’ve seen him act in and now i’ve got mixed feelings about him and i think i may like him now lol

Sticks, twigs, and leaves crumbled under your feet. Every step you took was a new clue, a pathway to your demise. Owls twisted their head and watched, squirrels chattered at you and ran. Bugs crawling up their trees or jumping away. Each new sound burned into your brain, echoing until a new one replaced the last.
An echoing scream surrounded the forest, but you could care less. Decoys. It was a dirty move, used against you often. Each new scream once caused you to scan your surrounding. But that was the past. These screams weren't new, you've heard them before, and you'll hear them again.
Owls hooted, squirrels chatted, and bugs jumped.
Whipping around a tree, you flattened yourself against it, Your breath was staggered, greedily breathing in as much air as you could. Walls were compressing your chest, your rib cage squeezing your organs, feeling a few sizes too small.
No, don't stop. Get up, start running, you aren't safe. Your adrenaline is still there, use it!
The thick trunk of the tree was jagged and rough against your body, emitting a small sense of warmth against the frigid air encasing your body. Scanning your surroundings, you dashed between the trees, hoping that it would just turn 2 already. Laughter spread throughout the trees, followed by another high-pitched scream.
Owls hooted, and bugs jumped.
A harsh snap was made above you, and you froze. Every breath you took did more pain than relief. Every time you darted your eyes from one space to the next, dizziness and nausea would cloud your view and thoughts.

Just watched Don’t Look Up again and it properly tore me up.
This is probably my favourite movie of all time.
