TW: tiny mention of malnourishment
So, I've read a lot of stories where humans are very heavy in comparison to aliens. But I wonder, if it wouldn't be the other way around. If we go with the premise, that we are from a high gravity world, we would actually lighter than must others, as to not get squished by our own weight. But as nature rarely goes only one way in problem solving, we would maybe also be smaller, to reduce the effort of pumping our blood under high pressure, and stronger, to be able to carry all our mass without a problem.
At the same time aliens, who are NOT from a high gravity planet, would be much heavier to not float away into the expanse of space, and to efficiently move that mass, they would probably be much taller than humans
In standardized gravity-zones, like an outpost or a spaceship, we would be able to almost fly and lift very heavy things. It could also make for very funny interactions between humans and aliens who are worried their human is malnourished because they don't weigh the standard of aliens. It also could be funny for someone to underestimate the strength of the - in comparison - tiny human, just for the human to lift a - by alien standards - very heavy thing without breaking a sweat.
Food
TW: Food, mentions of poison
So, I've read a lot of content on this already, but consider this:
We are from a deathworld, where everything is your enemy. That means competition is high and food is scarce. Humans themselves have started looking for other food sources after plants weren't enough anymore. We even started eating poisonous stuff, because there weren't any alternatives. So, it is most likely very uncommon for there to be an omnivore. But because food was still a very scarce resource, we have adapted to - in comparison to aliens - very small portions.
Maybe an alien freaks out because their human friend isn't eating enough. Maybe alien cooks are fascinated by our small serving sizes. Maybe a human visits a restaurant and is surprised by the amount of food these aliens eat.
On many death worlds it is common for everyone to receive the same life. Only the leaders or soldiers are given special care. Maybe as a way to make more people join the army, or a way of keeping things in check.
If one could not survive on the materials given, they would simply be left to die if they cannot overcome it. Such is life. It is fair. The ordinary civilians cannot do anything after all.
Everyone was content to live the way it always is.
Then, earth came to contact with the rest of the universe. They started popping up in various jobs and odd ends and everywhere they go, there seems to be rumours and wild stories. Each of them with their own morals.
The humans rescued the Garithiens from their pandemic, they whispered.
Do not argue with them, they cautioned. They will talk you in circles and leave you soulless. If there is anything a human hate more, it is those who are stagnant.
The humans came, and when they saw the fates of those worlds, they scoffed. What use are you if you do not stand against injustice? They asked. The inhabitants replied, because the world is unfair and always will be unfair.
The humans laughed at them, a bone-chilling sound as something glinted in their eyes. The world is unfair, always will be unfair and that is precisely why you fight.

Humans are space warriors
So ya'll know about war? It's a crappy thing, isn't it? Families being torn apart, murder being commonplace, stealing what belongs to completely different cultures of people. All because some Rich dumbasses didn't like the way another country looked at them.
Humans are pretty good at fighting, so much so that we even make sports out of it, mma, paintball/airsoft deciding who gets the last slice of pizza out of your siblings; it's safe to say we humans don't exactly shy away from violence, between action movies, most video games and some of the sports I just mentioned it's become a common part of our lives.
Now, considering that Earth might be a deathworld, it's safe to say that this probably isn't normal across space culture. I'm willing to bet this would make us a very feared and/or respected member of the galactic council, making us especially good at being security guards, bouncers, soldiers, etc.
Again though, Earth is a deathworld, so our normal civilians would most likely outclass even the most well trained fighters from other races, but what about our pros? The cream of the crop? The people with looks that can kill.
I think it's fair to say that soldiers or martial artists would essentially be seen as mythical unkillible demigod. Certain aliens would most likely search for these people like an apprentice looking for the kung-fu master only known through legend, hearsay and that one shitty movie that no one liked based off of their life.
Not only that, in fighting we have mutual respect for one another... most of the time, but ignoring dickheads who kick someone while they're down and people who support the british soccer team, humans will know when to draw the line and let their opponent recover.
This culminates in us being one of the most well trained warriors and most well disciplined fighters in all of the galaxy.
“It’s weird.”
“What’s weird ?“
“Humans have a closer relationship with the dead than they do with the living.”
“Elaborate on that.”
“Well did you ever notice how they honour their deceased?
“…”
“ They decorate the remains of the being and then put it in a wooden box. That wooden box they then proceed to put in a small stone monument with some identification of the human. Sometimes they burn them instead. It varies from culture to culture. After that they repeatedly visit the remains and … how should I vocalise that… relive the memories they shared with that being ?“
“ But doesn’t that destroy the natural cycle of returning minerals into the soil ?“
“ It does. It also damages their emotional sensors yet they still do it.
“ Huh.“
“ But it’s not just about the weird boxing ritual. It’s about the process altogether. Humans give much more value to death than they do to life.”
“Can you give an example ?“
“Plenty. Their soldiers, their authors. Even their friends. While alive they do indeed get acknowledged. But when they die that acknowledgment doubles, even triples in size. It seems humans are blind to most of their possessions and are only able to see them after their loss.
“ That is quite bizarre. But if I can give you a word of advice - do not get too close to human psychology. A lot of minds were lost that way. “
“ …..I will accost your concern.”
GUYS. MOOSEN.
Moosen. Is that the plural of moose? Whatever.
Moosen are FREAKY. Like, 7 feet tall, huge horns, CARniVOReS?! WhAT?
When you see an elk and you go: Oh, a large deer! That’s an elk. But when you see an elk and go: DEAR LORD, IT’S AN ELDRITCH HORROR FROM THE DAWN OF TIME, that is a fear-instilling, utterly terrifying MOOSE.
It looks like an orc should be riding to battle on them. “Ride, Bullwinkle, ride! Lead me to GloRiouS victory!”
What the heck. You can’t tell me there’s not a God, ‘cause nothing else is creative and crafty enough to keep these things alive for this long.
