Backstory:

You might think that Dewey is just a normal man, but that's not the case, in Mortogen's time, Dewey was another one of the super human experiments. Being 8 years old, he was the youngest than Baxter, Joe and Roberts and was never put into training, Dewey also has acute hearing, which is why he has intolerance to loud noises that bother him. When Joe's massacre was caused in the city, Dewey was taken away by one of the scientists before the military arrived to shut down Mortogen completely. Adopted, the child began to live a normal life with his adoptive father, growing and playing. At the age of 18, Dewey was returning home and was shocked to see his father dead and soon became unconscious after feeling something hitting his head, he was kidnapped and taken to an old cabin far from the city. Weeks passed until a rescue team was sent to invade the cabin to look for the victim, among the men was Bill Shell who found Dewey in the basement and rescued him, making the young man trust Shell and only stayed by his side, After the incident, they both have a special relationship, Shell was like a father to Dewey and Shell could say about Dewey being a son to him. Now 28 years old, the boy serves in the army alongside General Shell, being efficient in missions but still a boy who likes to entertain his companions and talk to them, especially with the man who saved him.

Curiosities:

- Dewey never knew about Mortogen's other experiments, that is, Baxter, Joe and Roberts did not know of his existence.

- The first time Shell and Dewey met, Dewey bit Shell's arm when he approached him (he was scared, but realized that Bill Shell wouldn't do any harm). The general has a bite scar on his arm now.

- He never met his biological parents, however, the scientist who took care of Dewey started to treat him as if he were his son, never letting him go training for fear that the other clones could seriously hurt him because he was younger.

- As soon as he learned of Shell's death, Dewey was extremely devastated. He was the only surviving soldier who saw his body and began to cry, and was found by the reinforcement team and taken to another location where he met Roberts.

Cabler.D : Male -Casino Mechanic ( fix machines and stuff ); -He got vitigo (on his hands and arms); -He's pretty friendly even tho he seems grunpy; -He likes kids even tho it doesn't seems like it; Story Time: He don't have to do much things around the Casino but before he deal his soul to the Devil he worried about his sick daughter which died (what made he start drinking) and on his spare time he read some books or brake things so he can fix them, he expencialy likes to fix sound boxes, he went on a bet with the Devil to try to bring his daughter back to life but lost and now he's stuck on the casino fixing some machines and helping the other employees of the casino. Fun Fact: When he sees a kid around the casino he makes sure they leave before King Dice or the Devil sees it or they would get in trouble like Cuphead and Mugman did.

Okay, now onward to little things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. I also finally figured out the genre of game this would be and that's a social game.

I'll start with:

Cosmetics/Character customization

So, I'll start first with general cosmetics. I have a very strong itch to play a game where I can customize both my character and the house/room/plot of land they reside in without the game being either farm based, purely fashion based, typical gacha "wait 30 years or watch an ad", or just "anime" style with no other designs. Because of this, one of the first things I thought of was creating a separate mode where the players could customize a character to their liking, with their pronouns, and more than just "generic anime" hairstyles. There would obviously be generic anime hair styles, but there'd also be afro styles and other poc styles (I'd have to do some research on any other group outside of African though).

In the main mode, you wouldn't be able to chance the MC outside of her name. Her appearance would be locked kind of like Link or the Persona protags. Once you've played through a story and completed it with the MC, you'd be able to replay it as your customized character in the freeplay mode.

There would also be a place for the players to design their own apartment/house/plot of land (depending on what makes the most sense) and through the game's various mini-games, you'd be able to unlock items. Some items would be harder to get and would require playing a mini-game or going through some sequence properly to unlock something. We're going for replayability＼(＾▽＾)／

Since I was thinking for this game to be FtP, I had to come up with something to still make money, but make it accessible for everyone to get everything in the game. So, it made sense to have the paid options be simply to speed things up or get extra of something in case someone is lazy as hell and doesn't want to replay something. However, the option to play it normally isn't a slog either, it's just like playing any game normally vs. cheesing the the area.

Also, I wanted to add this little note but I didn't know where, but I also really wanted this game to be interesting for gaymers as well. I do have family who happen to fall under that category so I have a little--just a tiny bit--of knowledge when it comes to that.

In this case, the game wouldn't be to catered to physical things at all. Obey Me! does a pretty good job keeping the MC gender neutral, but it has its limits and I'm going to push them as hard as I can! (pause) Being who I am, I don't really fit into any category very well as I don't like most traditionally girl things and I'm uninterested in most guy things, so almost all the time my characters interact romantically in a way that you could use any pronoun and it would work. I don't like the term handsome and most certainly do not think the words "pretty" "cute" or "beautiful" only describe women. Usually, my descriptors are general and describe the way someone's appearance makes you feel (ex. if someone has pretty eyes I'll usually just say their eyes are captivating or they're easy to get lost in.)

Events

I wasn't exactly sure what this would be considering I don't want to become an Obey Me! with bi-weekly events that drain your resources, but I also didn't want to make events that had items locked behind their event period and once they were gone, they were gone. I also know apart of the fun with events is working really hard to get something special, so if it's available all the time it wouldn't be very much fun. So, my fix for this was to dog tag a page from Obey Me!

They have it where after six months(?) events come back and the players have free access to participate again for four days so long as they have a consumable. I still don't want it to be exactly like that, so the easiest solution is just to have events rollback when their original date passes (ex. if there's an event during April, then April the next year, the events returns for the same amount of time). Simple and effective.

As for the events themselves. I actually tend to write a holiday special for the bois every year so the usual New Year's, Christmas, Valentine's, Halloween, and Thanksgiving would be celebrated, but I've always wanted to incorporate many celebrations from various places. Things like Mardi Gras which is a celebration that's pretty centralized in one place. Obviously, that would mean some research, but I already have most of the characters having different backgrounds (Brayleigh is French, Jessica is half Japanese/French, Ankara has Pacific Islander in him, Terumichi is Korean, Amai is half Black/Japanese, and Shugi is whatever I need him to be lol) so it'd be pretty easy to use their backgrounds and try and incorporate some festivals, holidays, and other special occasions in here!

And of course, the events would have special outfits for the boys to be dressed in, don't worry. You have no idea that a kimono Aki, demon Akuma, beach Koto, and casual Ankara live rent free in my head.

CGs/character art

I say this a lot, but I'll say it again, I can't draw; however, if I ever did find someone to work with, I'd have a lot of character CGs and just so things can stay as inclusive as possible, their character art would be anywhere between just solo art of the character in question or art with a character insert (maybe like a hand or something)

side note: the only reason I'm not too into having a character insert is because it feels generic and like it's almost impossible to account of every position with a certain hair style or skin tone. I know some games have done it, but they more or less prove my point. In this case, I think less is more.

The CGs more looked like just beautiful art of the character from a scene or of them in a stylized outfit. Being able to have a gallery full of each one would be a dream~

Other/Misc.

There's not a lot more I wanted to add, but some small things would be to have a challenge mode for each of the mini-games and achievements for random things.

This is just a off the cuff thought, but it'd be cute to have the overworld city somehow have online multiplayer where people could chat with other people in the city or play solo (since I am more of a solo player anyways).

Competitions kind of rub me the wrong way, but it'd be nice to have some rankings for the mini-games

I guess I'll add this part to the first reblog: I didn't want the game to have bad endings because they usually just making the player feel like shit for having an opinion, so it made more sense to have it like Phoenix Wright where you're playing the story as the MC and to have a separate freeplay mode where character's choice would matter. It might be too ambitious, but having the freeplay mode have different endings sounds interesting.

A small ex. would be in one of the short stories, Cassie is sick and Akihiko comes over to take care of her. The players would then have the option to reject him and see a different route play out, almost like a what-if scenario.

But, for now, that's all the ideas I feel I can share. If I come up with anything else I'll add it, but like always...

Here again after my usual hiatus this time though it was because of real world shit, aka setting appointments to get my teeth removed yay but I wanted to post something.

So, just today (or yesterday it's 2am for me) I finished a page on my website about an idea I got about a game idea. This is pretty common for me, but I wanted to share it here in case anyone was interested :D

I was also considering making proofs of concepts about some of the mini-games I talked about and other collectables, but who know if I'll get around to that with all the other ideas I have in my head.

It’s a beautiful night out, the sky is clear and the stars are shining brightly. You lean against the railing and take a long drag, looking up at the sky. The door opens and you exhale through your nose. His voice is soft and you can practically hear his smirk, “That’s bad for you, y’know?” He leans against the railing and smiles at you. You roll your eyes, a chuckle slipping from your lips, “Yet, you do it.” He chuckles and lights his own, “Fair point, kid, fair point.” He wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. The two of you stand there for a while, simply basking in each other's presence. He lets out a content sigh, “We should head inside, it’s getting cold.” You feel the gentle touch of his lips on the side of your head as he pulls away from you. You nod in agreement, following him inside.

Is there a meaning behind your character’s name? If so, how is it relevant to the story? - Before, it doesn't have any meaning and actually just used my pen name but now, I have one. So the original meaning behind his name "Shiro" is white in Japanese but to get its meaning more deep, I want to add that it means pure and innocence. But Shiro, he already lost his purity and innocence ever since so kind of the opposite of his name. And I kind of planned it as well that I want the name of the OC and their personality is opposite.

How do they identify? What pronouns do they use? - He/Him.

What kind of person are they attracted to if they experience those feelings? - If you all didn't know, Shiro was bisexual but now cupio. But his taste or what he's attracted to are older men with a great personality and everything, and plus bikers (it's in his little fun facts). For example, Steve Rogers or Toji Fushiguro.

How does their age impact the story? - His age impact from his story on how he got turned into a beast or a wolf.

Does your character have family and friends? How do they feel about them or the lack thereof? - He does not have one. He got shipped off by his own parents. SPOILERS.

How does their environment and upbringing shape their decisions and development? - Unfortunately, he became more indecisive and depressed. A sad wet cat.

Do they have nicknames? If they do, how did they earn them? - He doesn't have any. He rather like being called Shiro.

What do they look like? Are there scars or tattoos? Do they prefer to wear a particular style of clothing? - He has a small vine tattoo in his hand and has a scar in his right cheek and some scars in his body as well because of his occupation. He like to wear anything inside his house but if he's going out or doing a task, he likes to wear a street wear or cyberpunk clothing. Most of them are black or dark shades. (emo)

Do they have any mental or physical disabilities? How does that impact how they live? - Deeply depressed, in grief, and some difficulties in hearing. It made him became more distant and a bit of delusional.

What’s their sense of humor? - Dry and sarcastic. Sometimes dark.

What do they want? What’s their goal? - His goal is to have peace and harmony between humans and their kind.

What are their fears? Did something happen to cause this fear? - Frogs, their dream was when they were eaten by a big frog with their mouth suddenly full of small ones, cheeks puffing out uncomfortably.

What annoys them? Why does it annoy them? - Unnecessary dialogue and loud cities. It hurts his head.

What habits, mannerisms, and quirks do they have? - They move their hand when talking or explaining things, stare off to space, and lots of shuffling and fidgeting.

How do they act when they’re happy, sad, mad, scared, etc.? - He just sends a little expressions or a stare or pursing his lips. Depends on how he feels.

What are they good at/interested in? - Writing, music, and killing.

Do they have spiritual beliefs? What are they? - None, he doesn't really care about that.

If they have powers, what are they? Why do they have them? What will they use them for? - He only has keen senses, though partially deaf because his original ears were cut off. And also claws? Not sure if that's part of having a power.

Are they the protagonist or the antagonist? - Protagonist.

I’ve done this to practice and have a bit of fun. Eight the skelekid had fun messing with his Caretaker, making him chase the red dot through the entire place.

Wrath (The Berserker)

Class: Hunter Category: Ex Conquer.

This Critter, as his name suggests, he is the Sin of Wrath. Wrath is a very short creature being about 4'7ft ( 1.40m). But don't let Wrath's size fool you, This Creature is one of, if not, the most rabid thing you'll ever meet. Easy to Piss him off with any slight of provocation, He will tear you apart and will burn your town to the ground til' nothing but ashes are left. His Fury is unyielding and he rarely won't choose violence for an answer to everything. As an Ex Conquer no one knows what happened, but rumors says that he Lost to someone and had to give up his entire territory to someone else. What Could've made the Warlord even give up and submit to defeat?

Wrath's wildfire and even aftermath of rage has been spotted in: Russia, France, Germany, U.S, Australia, Amazon Forest, Iran, Japan, Korea, Greece, Egypt, Africa, Spain.

Advice: If you spot him, remain calm, keep low profile and stay out of his way. Do NOT, under no circumstances shall you provoke him.
