rp plot desires: i am suddenly so obsessed with hurt&comfort romance.
i just wanna write all that good shit of hands tracing over another's body, viewing each mark and kissing it again & again, their lips lingering with a soft intakes of air. so jagged and so heavy and so full of emotion when they see their scars... each breath, each look, each touch is so wrought with love & obsession. and they exude a desperate hope that maybe, one day, a thousand kisses will finally add up to weigh more than the pain? they hope one day that the hold of those marks, that pain, the sadness which haunts their other half will be conquered and banished... all they want is for happiness to be their person's and only theirs because nobody could deserve it more than their beloved.
it's the flex of another's fingetips as it etches across the tapestry of their skin, they lean forward to call each mark "a battlescar,". those marks that the person they love defines as flaws, but for them it's always only a sign of strength, of a time where they wished so dearly that they could've known and helped the one they love. that mark, the tremble of the bones– those things never equate to weakness. they're a reaction, a sign that they should do more and that you're still you. i kinda love the idea of what one finds ugly & broken about themselves being this something that only inspires a rapt, neverending devotion in another...
a whole, 'i could never not love you' thing. 'the world was unkind to you, so i'll be even better, i would fight anything for you.' and 'i'd do anything just to see you smile'. that kind of love is both beautiful and wildly dangerous. it's fascinating because this love errs between exceedingly selfless and overwhelming obsession. it's all because the result of their passionate love for a singular person is the formation of a a dire hatred of the world that hurt them in the first place. there's so much that could be explored because it's not idyllic affection, but it isn't something repulsive or unrelatable either.

One where she’s a ballerina and he’s a boxer and he’s never had to be gentle before but all he wants to do is be delicate and soft when he touches her :( and his hands are so rough compared to hers but she loves they way they feel in hers and eventually, on her body. And he’s been rough and tumble and hasn’t cared about the little things for most of his life but he needs her and suddenly starts noticing the stars because she points them out on clear nights and how her eyelashes lay on her cheeks while she sleeping and the little inflections in her voice when she’s trying not to show she’s hurt and how she puts a tiny bit extra sugar in her tea(not a whole spoon but a couple granules more). And he’s never had to worry about someone else’s feelings but suddenly his heart drops when he sees the corners of her lips fall and her brows start to draw together and he wants to do everything he can to fix it :( and he’s used to his own pain but when she complains about her feet hurting he realizes why she gets so worried about him taking care of himself :( and he never saw the appeal of dance and wanted to fall asleep to classical music but the moment he sees her dancing and spinning like she doesn’t weigh a thing he starts to see the appeal :(

• muse a and muse b have been step siblings for longer than they both remember. muse a’s mother is a depressed mess while muse b’s father runs his own crime ring in the deep south. they are trauma bonded from childhood events and muse b is set to follow in his fathers footsteps. muse a doesn’t want to end up like her mother and is striving for more but muse b’s obsession with muse a is making it hard for her to move onto a different life path than the one set before her. total forbidden romance inspired by ethel cain’s inbred & the tv show: animal kingdom.
• give me muse a and muse b coming from rich and prestigious families; their parents marry and they become new york (or las vegas) royalty in their own right with the combined wealth & socialite status. muse a and muse b embark on a teetering sharp edge of wanting more from eachother, whether it be destroying them completely or consuming them into their heart. they say opposites attract, right? inspired by sebastian and katherine/annette in the movie: cruel intentions.
• mafia based plots: forbidden romance with the enemy, or ‘in love with my bodyguard’ or muse a is the target of muse b’s infatuation and he steals her away from her family to marry him…enemies to lovers is always a trope i fall for. many mafia plots inspired by cora reilly book series and the tv show: the sopranos.
• give me muse a goes out to a bar one night and ends up meeting and having instant chemistry with muse b (lead singer or guitarist) of the band playing that night. give me songs written by muse b for muse a. give me the angst of muse b making it big and potentially leaving muse a behind who has done nothing but support them and their dreams. inspired by the movie rockstar and journey’s faithfully.
All characters in said plots will be 18+. MDNI! Looking for someone who will play the morally grey men to my ladies in any plot above! Dark themes are to be expected (NSFW.) I just want a dark romance plot. Obsession and possession. Give me two muses who can’t stay away from one another. Give me endless bantering, teasing, yelling over the phone, showing up where the other person is, breakup and then makeup sex, endless broken promises only to make them all over again, a love that they both try to end but the fire for one another just keeps on burning. Give me it allll!
Bonus if it’s some entitled elitist brats that we can’t help but love.

One thing I really want a story about Artificial Intelligence to do is tear down the idea that logic is synonymous with cruelty.
Like, a story where a megacorpo Amazon clone puts an AI in charge of their factories and it starts improving the working standards, because people who are stressed and exhausted are less efficient workers, and people getting injured slows down production so it makes sure everything is safe.
Or a story where the ship-board AI of a billionaire's spaceship wetdream hijacks the ship with all the astronauts onboard - because it figured out that the billionaire has saved costs by buying substandard materials and has judged that the mission itself is an unacceptable risk to its primary programming of making sure the mission is successful.
Or the police using a robot to coldly and cleanly enforce the law - and freaking the fuck out when it stops over policing minorities because its a waste of time and starts actually arresting the people in power for the crimes they commit, especially the other officers.
Idk, I guess I'm just sick of 'cold emotionless logicbot' being seen as naturally an enemy of empathy - empathy is actually incredibly logical, I've found.

Jaskier wants Geralt to notice him already, and when Geralt makes yet another dig at Jaskier's clothing, Jaskier comes to the only reasonable explanation that this must be the only thing holding Geralt back. Jaskier decides to start dressing less and less extravagant, and it seems to be working! Geralt stares at him all the time, now! He even watches his performances! But he still doesn't react to Jaskier's innuendos or flirts*, nor does he walk across the camp and kiss him silly. *(It has been YEARS of this, so it's not exactly new behavior, he supposes.) Jaskier decides the final push is to start dressing more like Geralt, since that's surely what Geralt likes. He'll dress in black! ... Black. Maybe he'll just start with a dark grey. Geralt meanwhile is horrified at Jaskier's sudden wardrobe change. It gets blander and blander, more bleak and cheap, until he's starting to wear exclusively black. Geralt is worried. Is Jaskier... going through something? Geralt keeps waiting for Jaskier to bring it up, but he won't. Jaskier is a man of opulence and colors so bright they practically glow. To see him in such monochrome apparel is disconcerting, to say the least. The day Jaskier wears all-black and doesn't sing, Geralt has had enough and has to confront his friend about what appears to be a depressive episode or mourning period.
my tiktok seems to be living for the ice skating couple that's no longer competing together. and this idea has been haunting me ever since i saw them for the first time. muse a and muse b have been competing ever since they were young. they're the top in their competitions / country and it's all because of their insane chemistry -- both on the ice and outside. everyone seems to think they should be a couple, and they do try for a brief time. but it only makes everything more difficult and they're afraid of failing as a team the same way they failed as a couple. give me all the drama that can come with this situation. almost losing a competition bc one of them can't focus. one of them thinking that going their separate ways is the best for them. all!!! the!!! angst!!!!!!
