O inverno estava no seu ápice, do lado de fora ventava e nevava muito, quase não se podia enchergar nada. Eles estavam lá dentro daquela cabana, numa cama quentinha, juntos. O calor daquele amor aquecia toda a cabana. E assim eles terminavam a noite, juntos, pra sempre juntos, como se não existisse amanhã…. PS: Um dia talvez !
Dream Job (this is all one job btw)
Music- it can be producing, writing, sing, whatever I just want to be able to preform my music, and be recognized for my talents
Travel- I can just travel freely, I'm not really weighed down by structure. If I want to do something I just do it
Lots of money- I want to be able to buy things without worrying about the cost. to roam freely in this world paying for things never checking the price once (or at least not twice) I also want to be able to use my money to fund all my other projects if investors cant make up the money.
Writing- Books, potery, wattpad stories. whatever. So long as I get to write from my heart, my experiences, and get the light a fire in the hearts and minds of people all over the world.
Freedom- I want to be able to move freely. Like if I want to take a break, I can, and the whole world wont crash down. Being able to take breaks whenever I want, and create my own schedule, is imperative for me to keep my sanity.
Orphanage- I want to create an orphanage that is similar to a home for kids. I wish I could just adopt of the lost kids in the world (istg my pisces moon wears me thin lol) but much to my dismay, I cant. So I want to be able to create a home for those kids, and get them the help they need. Not just the basic necessities, but the ones for their mental health as well. I want to give them, freedom, structure, and most importantly......safety. Supportive energy only!!!!!
Acting- I want to create movies (like produce and write), as well as act. Whether that's on stage or on film.
Help people- Charities, out reach programs, safe spaces. I want to create these for people all of the world. I want to make help and information accessible to ALL so no one has to be alone, or stay stuck in darkness for too long. (This includes, mental health, poverty, education, helping small business, lgbtia+)
CEO- Now I know this one is a reach...but I really want to do this. A place where all forms of art are promoted and accepted. A place where you don't have to conform to ONE thing but you are allowed to be MANY things. A place where, music, acting, dance, visual arts, where ALL aspects of each art for are accepted. Whether you're behind the scenes, or center stage. Everyone collaborating and working together to bring peace and happiness, despite their differences. A utopia if you will. A safe space. A colorful, creatively chaotic, home.
Maybe this all seems like a reach, or a lot for one person (especially as someone who struggles with bpd and more) but these are the things Im passionate about. This is what drives me, brings me joy, brings me hope. Making the world safer, happier, better, than the way it was for me. That is my dream job.
I just wish I knew how I could achieve it.
at this point I wish advertising in general was just literally illegal. Word of mouth only. Maybe exceptions beneath a certain net value like if you’re a startup or a family run business but if you’re already making a billion dollars then making even one single commercial or banner campaign should be a crime and I mean a crime like the CEO gets investigated on national television and goes to prison forever and everyone agrees they’re a sick fucked up maniac
I feel like its kinda the point that the setting isnt perfect (also ignoring the blatant imperialist ideas of eradicating the trade baronies out right), the whole idea for lancer is that all across the galaxy, millions of Lancers from millions of different backgrounds are fighting for the sole objective of always striving to make the galaxy and universe as a whole a better place, but that is a daunting task. Many different people will have a hundred different ideas of what "making things better" is, and even different groups of lancers will have conflicting ideals.
Do we attack the people trying to cause conflict in the galaxy? Do we usurp their leaders, and put in place people we deem more fit to rule? Do we attempt to have a dialogue with them, even though it may be pointless in the end? This is the dilemma at the center of Lancer. Utopia is not a concept that can ever be realistically achieved, and as they put it in the discord, it is only something that can only ever be strived for. "Utopia is not a noun, or an adjective. It is a verb. One we must attempt to perform every day, for the good of everyone, not just ourselves."
I can go on and on about what the themes of lancer are, because as I see it, it is the best we can hope for. Its not optimistic, not pessimistic, but realistic. It isnt trying to make a world you want to live in, but one we might already live in. For all we know, we could very well be the Old Humanity, on the edge of wiping ourselves out, or we could be the new generation, soon to discover the Massif Vaults.
I can seriously go on and on. I need to stop, so Im just gonna end this here.
i think the lancer setting is the closest thing i have to a love-hate relationship with a single piece of media. lancer lore is 50% the coolest most insanely awesome ideas youve ever heard and 50% bizarre "left-of-center" fascist apologism. in any just world thirdcomm would annex ips-n (at minimum) and turn harrison armories, ssc, and the baronies into dust. but they will never do that because canonically thirdcomm government has the HA explicitly-fascist party in government with 10% of the seats (and another 20% of the seats go to the monarcho-libertarian karrakites (and another 15% are "social-democrats" (fascists))).
but on the other hand you have some of the coolest descriptions of ship-to-ship combat ive ever seen, i love all the kinds of cosmopolitan cultures, horus rocks, for that matter all the weird nhp shit rocks, and so on. its just tacked on to this awful faux-utopianism.
