sometimes people try to tell me that scientists are paragons of rationality and I have to break it to them that I have yet to work in a lab that didn’t have at least one weird secret shrine in it
on that note, when someone says stuff like "the first guy to want to drink cow's milk must have been some kind of freak" meaning it in a sexual way they are having some messed up thought processes and I would hate to see how they would treat a breastfeeding human
Please realize that the amount modern "western" culture sexualizes breasts and breastfeeding is really, really unusual, throughout time and space.
Also note that pre-modern medicine, childbirth had a roughly 1/10 chance of killing you and therefore it's very likely that one of the first uses of animal milk, if not THE first use, was to feed infants that otherwise would have died without another lactating human around
