I really like the line "the Gods will make his past known" when they talk about the fate of Astyanax (Hector's son) in the EPIC musical.

I think it's very self-aware and tells much about the nature of Greek Gods. They know that one day when Astyanax grows up he'll inevitably find out that he isn't actually the son of Odysseus. And if no one answers him about his past he'll asks the Gods and there will be at least one of them who can't say no and tells him the truth.

I can just picture it, young Astyanax standing in a shrine or at the seashore or in his room begging the Gods for an answer and one of them will break and tell him that his birth city was destroyed by the very man he called father.

And it would have been another heart breaking tragic.

My beige flag is that about 90% of the time I imagine Eurylochus as a woman because I think he'd be very pretty.

(So then in the Pupeteer, she could be a smitten lesbian who'd still have a pretty hard time to return to her Captain instead of melting into the arms of Circe and her nymphs.)
