It's okay to say no

It's okay to set boundaries

It's okay to be mad at someone

It's okay to tell someone they crossed a line

It's okay to change your mind

It's okay to back out of something, yes even if it's something you initiated/started

It's okay to want space

It's okay to go back on a promise if it compromises your safety, mental health, etc.

It's okay to cut people out of your life for the same reasons

It's okay to not talk to people for the same reasons

It's okay to have limits

It's okay to say no

Remember kids, stay away from codependent relationships. It's not just bad for you, but it's bad for the person clinging to you.

Nobody is perfect, of course. Nobody is 100% independent and it's nice to be able to get help and support from your friends. But if you're someone's only lifeline, you might think you're doing them a favor by letting them be dependent on you, but you're actually perpetuating their co-dependent lifestyle/mindset, which is gonna bite them in the butt someday anyways.

Co-dependency doesn't do anyone any favors. If you're in a relationship like that, romantic or other, get OUT of there
