Halt and Will having short problems p1

Top shelf

Halt had a problem. Not that he was going to admit that it's just that Gilan, Crowley and Will are coming over for dinner and Pauline was on a mission. Which was fine he could take care of it no problem but he would also need to deck the table. The problem was that the plates where on the top shelf. Which he couldn't reach and had to climb the counter, but he really didn't want to deal with the talking he would get from Pauline for almost breaking his back. He didn't how but she always knew when he did something like that.

He could deal with that later though right now he needed to cook dinner and deck the table excluding the plates that is.

Will was done for today so he decided it would hurt no one if he arrived a bit to early to the dinner. He saddled Tug told Ebony to follow and headed towards Redmond.

That's why he was now in front of Halt's and Pauline's front door and promptly let himself in. First thing he noticed was that the table was already decked accept the plates were missing.

"I see you've already let yourself in" He smiled while turning to his mentor.

"Halt! How have you been? I smell duck, are we eating duck stew? Where's Pauline? I brought Ebony, you don't mind right?" He stopped when he saw the look Halt gave him.

"Good, yes, work, no. Are you ever gonna stop doing that?" He asked annoyed but secretly loving it.

"Nope, one more question though" Halt sighed at that but aloud him to continue.

"Where are the plates?"

"Top shelf" Halt said knowing that to anyone else that answer didn't make sense but him and Will we're both short and therefore often faced the same problems.

"Oh, did you try climbing in the counter or using a chair?" He asked since that's what he often did if he couldn't reach something.

Shaking his head Halt answered "No, if I climb the counter I get a talking to from Pauline and the chairs scratch the kitchen floor, sadly nothing in this castle is made for short people and instead for knights who often are very tall."

Walking to the kitchen Will notices that the cabinets are indeed higher up or rather the cabinets start at normal height but are taller "Well that's just annoying."

An idea forms in his head. It will look ridiculous so he hopes no one walks in while they're doing it.

He turns to Halt who is giving him a confused but wary look. He knows the look on Wills face. It's the I-have-a-really-stupid-idea-but-it-might-work-face' and he doesn't like it.

Will seeing the question he answers "If I get on your shoulders then i should be able to reach it" He knows it will look a bit silly but no one is here but them so it should be fine.

Halt however wasn't pleased with this solution. And made sure to let Will know "that's the stupidest idea you have ever had."

"No, it's not. Do you have a better idea?" Halt did not have one.

He grumbled but crouched. Will got on his shoulders. The former stood and Will was able to reach the top shelf.

Gilan and Crowley arrived at about the same time at Redmond and walked to Halt's and Pauline's apartment. Since both wanted to mess with Halt they didn't knock but sneaked in.

"-you have a better idea?" It came from the kitchen. They looked at each other and silently agreed to be annoying and look what was happening without announcing they had arrived.

It took every ounce of Gilan's self control to not burst out laughing Crowley being in a similar state. As they watched the scene before them. Halt was standing on his tippy toes while Will was sitting on his shoulders reaching for the plates.

"Halt there are four different types of plates here which on do you want?"

"Why do we have so many different plates?" Halt muttered. "The white ones" He told Will.

"There all white wich one do you want?"

"The round ones"

"Congratulations, there's still three left"

Now Halt was becoming quit annoyed what was so hard about just getting plates. He knew why of course, he didn't like it when the plates where different from what they always were. Will knew this and was trying to find the right plate.

"Just get the plates we always use"

"That's the problem two of them are really similar and I don't really pay attention to the plates."

"Show them to me I'll say which one it this"

Will grabbed a plate from each stack and showed them to Halt.

"The left one"

Putting the plates back and grabbed four plates from the left stack handed them to halt who put them on the counter. Then crouched so Will could get of his shoulders.

When both turned around they saw Crowley and Gilan both with shaking shoulders and a hand over their mouth. Now they were seen there was no need to be quiet and both burst out laughing. Resulting in a glare from both Halt and Will.

"I see you found it entertaining."

Still laughing Crowley answered. "Very".

"But why didn't you just wait till we got here? You could've just asked us."

"To avoid getting laughed at, although that didn't really work out" Will answered.

"Don't act like you wouldn't have." Halt said before either of them could deny it.

Neither could so they didn't. "Fair, but I'm glad you didn't." Gilan said which resulted in a glare from Halt and a chuckle from Will who quickly changed the subject.

"Well we got the plates, so let's eat."

Crowley, Halt and Gilan got themselves comfortable at the table while Will grabbed the plates and and finished decking the table.

That seemed to be the end of it, but they all knew it this would result into a campfire story at the gathering. Both Crowley and Gilan looked forward to it while Halt and Will were contemplating not going to avoid teasing.

All three of those kids need therapy. Especially Sofia.

James wasted most of his childhood preparing to be king until he was told he wasn't the heir.

Amber seems to have attention seeking issues because she was primarily raised by a single person who is far too busy with work or her younger twin or younger sister.

Sofia is risking her life constantly for the kingdom and entire ever Realm, has far too many responsibilities, and I have recently learnt she has an eidetic memory and remembers everything.

So Firstly it made me kind of sad that at the young age of 12/13 the Royal siblings already feel the need to be adults. It made me therefore really happy that the lesson at the end was to let themselves have fun and just be kids.

It also once again fed my Autistic Amber headcanon. She wanted to follow her father’s schedule, and wouldn’t stray from it even when things were going fine without it. She was frustrated when things didn’t go as planned.

Also was it just me or did the elf queens seem pretty flirtatious at the end there. I mean “I actually kind of like your blue tunic after all.”

“I was just thinking your green tunic looks pretty sharp too,” as they drift together on their floating blocks and then stare into each other’s eyes and hold hands. And then they keep holding hands during the picnic and laugh at each other’s jokes. Like I think this conflict may have been solved through the power of love. Like the elf queens dynamic seems to be childhood friends to enemies to lovers.

black clover headcannons

-Asta, Luck, Noelle, Yuno, Finral, The Wizard King, Charmy and Yami are all autistic, or on the spectrum

-Actually most if not all the charcters are neurodivergent in one or another

-Vanessa, Noelle and Finral are all bisexual

-Asta, Gauche are demisexual

-Grey was homeless before she ended up with the Black Bulls. 

-I also headcannon Grey as using She/They pronouns, Gordon and Magna use He/They pronouns

-After Gauche warms up to the other bulls he starts giving them gifts and being very protective of them, this is because now he has someone to care for other than his sister. (He doesn’t love his sister any less but he now has new people to add to the list of originally one name) 

-Vanessa and Finral went out their way to learn about Yami’s homeland so that he never forgot about his birth place, this included the language because Yami wasn’t the only person from his land to end up in Clover.

-The first time they spoke to Yami in his mother tongue, Yami may have cried a little but he totally corrected their pronunciation. 

-Charmy isn’t entirely human but none really knows what she is. 

-Gordon is the best at make-up and everyone goes to him for help. 

-Henry is the best at any type of table-top or card games. 

-Vanessa has a box filled with random items she picked up from all the places she got to see since leaving the Witches Forrest. 

-Finral taught himself to be ambidextrous to give him another hand to open portals. 

-Additionally, Finral likes jumping of tall buildings/trees only to open a portal as he falls, he says its for practice but he really just likes the adrenaline rush he get from it. 

-Luck can have non-verbal episodes and Magna taught him sign language so that they could still talk even if it was without words. 

-Noelle doesn’t know how to handle praise after going so long without it and when the other bulls figure this out they start complementing and praising the shit out of her

-All the Black Bulls are very touched starved and try to make up to it by being very touchy with each other

-Finral taught himself First Aid after he realised how much his squad mates get hurt

-Vanessa and Finral are 100% best friends who talk shit and platonically flirt with each other

-Henry joins in with this platonic flirting sometimes and its very sweet

-Henry and Asta are also very close because Asta doesn’t have any magic Henry can drain.

-Asta is one of the first people in a long time to hug Henry and it confused him to begin with but Henry very much enjoyed it

-Yami and Finral are the type of friends to bicker and mess with each other

-Charmy, Noelle and Yami are the best cooks 

-Noelle hates the cold because she associates it with her childhood home and the cold treatment she faced 

-Gordon makes dolls of his friends not to be creepy but to feel like they are always with him

-Yuno and Asta meet up all the time to spar and hang out. 

-Finral wanted to go visit Langris many times before they sorted everything out but didn’t think he was wanted and didn’t wanna ‘embarrass’ his brother

The stimming when he was upset. The flapping his hands. Not knowing how he’s feeling or why. The chewing on his hoodie strings. The need for comfort from people he trusts. All of it.

It’s just very clear this episode. And I kinda love it. It just furthers my head cannon.

Is it alright if I don't headcanon a character as being autistic because I don't like them, even though everyone else headcanons them as autistic?

For the autistic fans of Shuumatsu No Valkyrie/Record Of Ragnarok: Brunhilde is autistic and that's why all the human fighters she has choosen are autistic too.

Buddha's also autistic (and the valkyries. And Thor. And Hercules. And Zerofuku. And Hades. And Beelzebub)

Both Nezuko and Tanjiro are autistic (many other characters too, but I'll not talk about this or this post will be really long).

Nezuko has touch and clothing sensitivity, and she can't wear most fabrics (that's why she would sew her kimono so many times, because it was one of the only clothings that she felt comfortable in)

So, when they were kids, everytime their dad would go to the city sell charcoal, Tanjiro would go too and they would look after some different fabric Nezuko could wear.

Tanjiro started getting interested abotu fabrics and researching more and more about it and then -BOOOOM! Special interest.

In today's episode of "Is this character autistic or traumatized?", we have: Kanao Tsuyuri! And she is both.

My clothing sensitivity made me able to feel in my skin when a character is autistic.

Fizeram uma banda na adolescência mas não deu muito certo. (They made a band on their teen years but it didn't go good. They were actuallt good, but in their only show Linn panicked, ran, stumbled on Torajo's drums and accidentally punched Morajo)

Vivem jogando RP de Minecraft em vários servidores diferentes. Têm um monte de piadas internas sobre os momentos dramáticos e assassinatos. (Are always playing Minecraft RP in several differente servers. Have a lot of internal jokes about the dramatic moments and assassinations)

Leram Percy Jackson na adolescência e sempre que lança um livro novo fazem competição pra ver quem termina primeiro (they read Percy Jackson on their teen years and whenever a book is released they compete to see who finishes it first)

Se afastaram um pouco na pré-adolescência por conta da formação das panelinhas, mas voltaram a se juntar quando foram excluídos por serem os gays da escola (they got apart a little on their pre-teenagehood because of the whole clique thing, but got back together more than ever after being excluded for being the queer school kids)

Tem TDAH (transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade), o que limita bastante a atenção dele, mas a maioria não percebe pelo hiperfoco dele ser os vídeos e o algoritmo do youtube (has ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder), which limits a lot of his attention, but most don't realize it due to his hyperfocus being videos and the youtube algorythm)
