Babs doesn't just know how to hide a body, she knows how to rig several of them unto a marionette show to fake a slumber party. That's not a normal thing, even by Gotham standards. I mean hiding one body sure, but that's a whole other level.
Just gonna say it but this particular rendition of Babs is literally one plot point away from having a villain origin story. Her greatest hero dismissed her and the one she felt took her place has mocked her ruthlessly for years. She had almost no friends and the one she did have is a villain who is ride or die for her but questionable in her methods. Her family is well-meaning and sweet but distant bc of their jobs and just general misunderstanding of her and her interests. Also no biggie but she is 100% down to hide bodies and manipulate them to look alive.
Like if Babs didn’t move to Metropolis and find heroes who support and love her she’d DEFINITELY be blowing shit up in a coupla years.

best part of the locked tomb is if it was ANY other story naberius would be the number one guy. he’s a prince and somehow also a bodyguard and he’s a gifted fighter and devoted to the princesses and he has swoopy hair and dreamy eyes and no one gives a shit, because they’re all married/gay/focused on the actual plot. naberius is the lost love interest from a shitty ya fantasy novel that culminates in a love triangle between him, corona, and silas. this man is harry styles in a room full of lesbians

It’s a relatively unassuming wall toward the northwest corner of the bat cave, one that’s subtly shadowed by the giant penny but nevertheless a blank canvas.
So it’s not that surprising that even in a family full of detectives, the single post-it note stuck onto the rough concrete went unnoticed until a week after its placement.
It read: RED ROBIN SLIPPING ON ICE AND FALLING FIVE (5) SEPARATE TIMES DURING ONE FIGHT
Tim was slightly perturbed but not surprised; his lack of balance in his suit’s newly designed boots was particularly egregious that night. He retaliates the only way he knows how.
The second post-it is what grabs the attention of the rest of the bats.
It reads: JASON STARTING THE KEURIG BUT FORGETTING TO PUT HIS MUG UNDER SO COFFEE FLOODED ONTO THE FLOOR
Was Jason the culprit who stuck the first note onto that wall? Unclear. But that didn’t matter. The deed was done.

way back in GtN, during Gideon&Babs' duel, specific mention is made to Naberius' proportions physically. Specifically that he was shorter than Gideon, with LONG long arms -- aka the perfect sport fencing build: a relatively small target (clavicle to sacrum, arms exception) combined with a long reach, will very efficiently prevent anyone from being able to touch you in a proper duel. and I'm thinking abt Ianthe "we'd fix him" the First and how Babs HAD to be the best with absolutley no room for anything less and I'm thinking about his physical proportions being perfect and like. the Third House definitely did that to him. very sinister. much to think about.
Batgirl Begins Again
My submission for Project Rooftop' 'Batgirl Begins Again' challenge , which ended last night (2/28).
Kinda wanted a younger petite Babs that's more of a free runner, slinking around the streets in her oversized capelet. I feel like this would be her outfit right before joining up with the BatFamily. The quality of her clothing is a large step up from something she may have been wearing to begin with but is still not quite at the same level as Batman himself. I also wanted to make it something where ideally she'd still be able to acquire and customize her clothing (if need be) on her own. Her shopping list would contain a body suite/ fanny pack/ wedge sneakers/ vest/ capelet/ wrist straps/ and headphones (headset). And not to mention those kind of face masks are super easy to make nowadays, she could just look it up on youtube ;) The only thing that I feel like could've been a gift from the big bat would be the metal capsules for her Utility Fanny Pack and the clasps of her capelet. *My favorite thing about this design is probably how the vest is really just a standard zip up vest but once you pull the zipper down a bit it creates the illusion of the bat symbol ;B ( that was my happy little moment )

Challenge 75: Freebie: Batgirl of Burnside!
Issue 50 of Batgirl came out today and it’s the last issue that @babsdraws, @cameron-stewart, and @brendenfletcher worked on as a team! I wanted to create a little tribute piece to thank them for their all around awesomeness and for getting tons of new readers, myself included, into the Batgirl franchise! ☺️ Oddly enough I’ve had this sketch lying around since they announced the series but never finished it! I figured it was the perfect time to revisit it and wrap it all up!
