Had to switch back to Medibang for Mori & Elise piece. People like Q in this au even less, sadly, because their ability invokes similar feeling to having bird person's pelt taken (it's actually surprisingly less bad than pelt stealing, but not a lot of people bother to understand). Hii!!! So recently I found out about ur bsd!kny au and I LOVE IT SMMM??? IT SO GOOD?? AHHHH. So recently I was curious who will take kiriya and lady amane role? Since they both are my favourite side characters! ^^

okay this will sound odd so let me explain,

back when i first starting assigning characters to the kny cast, the hardest to do were big families like tanjiro's and the ubuyashiki family. it was very important that whoever i chose to be kagaya would be a respected man for the hashira

i could either put mori (who looks like fyodor, which would've worked narratively because kagaya and muzan are related), put dazai (and have no idea who his wife or successor could be), or natsume

the fanwiki writes that he's a charismatic man, and we can see that in his influence of oda and fukumori's respect for him in canon. he was the mastermind behind the tripartite framework.

not just that, but haruno takes care of natsume when he's a cat! in this au, they're not romantically involved.

if natsume's kagaya, then mori could be kiriya, the next ubuyashiki head who played a major role during the final arc

elise takes kuina's role because i wanna draw a particular scene where she keeps mori in line

Oh yea that's a good point with Kyoka. Besides the obvious children, my vote is Kunikida. He just reeks of "straight man with pleated trousers" in the best way🤣

Not a fan of when people call Elise a victim of Mori because she's not. She's as much a part of him as he is her.

Elise quite literally is not forced to do anything she doesn't want to. Also, can she even want anything unless Mori has her want it? Can you exploit something made specifically for you to alter as you wish to fit your wants? Her bratty behavior is because Mori made her that way, not because she has any genuine disdain for things

People are worrying about a character who could not give a fuck even if she wanted to
