the batfamily has a minecraft world. it goes about as well as you’d expect.

Dick has basically a mansion, completely decorated from head to toe. He also has like fifteen wolves (rivaled only by Damian) and has named every single one of them. He’s the one who made the world, and suffers through every single update. He likes to help Steph and Cass decorate in his free time.

Jason lives in a shack. It has only the essentials and he spends most of his time fighting mobs and going to woodland mansions. He’s the one who goes to the End City and gets elytras whenever someone new joins, and usually helps them start out. People have offered to help him build his house, but he’s refused. He likes what he has perfectly fine thank you.

Tim’s house is nice but smaller than Dicks, and has a lot of momentos to his in-game achievements. He spends a lot of time in the mines gathering materials (and desperately trying not to die). Sometimes people will log on to chests randomly being placed inside their house with an insane amount of blocks and items they offhandedly mentioned they needed. Most of the time he is usually online at like 3am improving the efficiency of their farms, much to Damian’s dismay. Tim was also devastated by the loss of the Moobloom mob vote loss!! He has a strong hatred for the glowsquid.

Damian has an insane amount of animals. Like, so many it lags you out so much whenever you go towards his area. He is of course building a mega build, which is yet to be finished, but in his spare time he works on his animal farm. It’s not as, as he put it, ‘inhumane’ as Minecraft farms usually are, but it’s still impressive nonetheless!!

Steph & Cass are online a bunch, always starting new projects together. They’ll spend a lot of time gathering materials, and then they’ll make something fun to expand the world. They’ve built a lot of villages and cities around, just making everything generally nicer. They’re also the ones who found the nether fortress and made it not so dangerous (Tim was very thankful)

Bruce has technically played on the world before and has his own account, but he’s not that great at it. For all his genius, he CANNOT figure out how to not die every five minutes. There’s a ledge? He’s walking off it. There’s a creeper? He’s backing up at the speed of a snail. Who knows if he’s even looking forwards at this point.

It’s been something they can all collaborate on for years, and they cherish it very deeply <33

damian is DEFINITELY one of those tiktokers that is like “come with me to feed my pets dinner!” and then has like fifteen different supplements and oils for them and adds things like quail eggs and chicken feet

it’s a lot of incoherent ramblings about whatever case they’re working on (usually complaining, but it’s hard to tell. even the best listeners can’t decipher what they’re saying) and grumbling about how ‘Damian bit them’.

Dmains character is complex and has multiple layers to why he act the way he does. He is a child who was forced into a war that he had no choice into joining. He lost his childhood and now doesn't know how to act his age and his parents don't really help either. Damian was raised to be the best and if he sient than what is he so. I will always protect him even when he's being annoying and "violent". Because the truth is Damian wants raised to be a child or a person for that matter but he was raised to be a weapon and now he doesn't know how to act around people and still struggles on how to be his own person.

Do I find Damian incredible annoying? Yes Will I fight every single motherfucker who resumes his entire character to violent and 'bad'? Also Yes.

you know what pisses me off sometimes?? This obsession that some writers (some comics and in the fandom) have with “putting damian in his place” like???? first it’s the whole he’s a feral arab child who needs to be tamed by this white family (which is already weirdddd as fuck man) and then it’s like he needs to be constantly punished for his previous actions as if he was not a traumatised kid???? Sure the narrative can totally address those behaviours and how he’s changed and grown or needs to change and grow but why is it that he’s so often denied the grace of yknow having his story being treated fairly and with the same respect as other white characters?? That coupled with the whole villainising way recent comics (to be honest like the comics have been doing that for over a decade) treat the al ghuls and any storyline involving them just ugh reeks of racism and don’t even get me started on the orientalism problem in the comics (pre and post 9/11) cause I don’t have the mental stability to go through all of that

anyway….

sorry for the rant I was just feeling a kinda upset by all of this I really love the fandom and the batcomics but when I notice stuff like this it just tampers my enjoyment yknow :/

So I was told to read Robin: Son of Batman and while I understand that it’s almost a decade old at this point, look at this child.

I’m sorry, I know I’m late to this run, but how do you see this literal child who was manipulated and groomed his entire childhood and not immediately go, “Give him a blanket, mug of hot cocoa and a Grey Ghost a marathon,”. He just wants to be good enough for others and hates himself so much.

Heyyyoooo, if y’all follow me on twitter this isn’t a suprise, but here it is. It’s an animation that’s inspired by the panels of Damian and Goliathin robin:son of Batman, as well as the scene in httyd when hiccup cuts toothless free rather than kill him. I want to say that I’m a total amateur in animation, I’m not great at it and I don’t do it often and when I do it’s silly stuff like this which is almost entirely done from imagination. So is it amazingly done? No, but I did make it lmao, have a good one

i hate how inconsitent damian's features are, because of which his brown features are not potrayed many time even if its the same run where he was , or the writer knows damian is brown, as he was in his previous one, but nooo we give you white blue child with tim's haircut. biut its not just that its his everything. dose he have a round face or a rectangle ish one?, dose he have a button nose, a hooked roman nose, a big round button nose ,a smooth nose? is his eyes green,blue, or brown? is he dark brown, light brown, olive skined,white, or snow white? dose he have wavy short spike,spiky hair or a bowl cut or longer hair?

sure biracial kids can look like one parent more tahn other, but damian is so inconstent so when his potrayed which brown features and then not it feel- no it IS WHITE WASHING. iam not arabic but i am brown and i dont like that its so icositent, iam not even in a place whwere i am will be discrimanated for skin couour, well i would be berated indians do be like that but the point is i feel bad that a brown cahrecter who can look like me, is being changed agin and again to make him look moe " relatable" and/or sellable.
