It was a dangerous thing, grabbing drinks on a Sunday. You were far more likely to get drunk than on Saturday or Friday, driven to give one last hurrah before work the next day. Which meant a hangover during work hours. Then there was the lingering guilt of not having gone to church in the last five years, because of being forced to go the previous seventeen. Or maybe the guilt was from sitting across a literal demon.

The fact that she was in a loud bubblegum pink outfit and heart-shaped sunglasses did nothing to diminish the knowledge that she was an actual spawn of Hell. She smiled prettily though and daintily sipped on the long island iced tea she’d ordered. She smacked her lips, a slightly different pink from the rest of her clothing, and let out an exaggerated “ah!” It got her several long looks.

“Lighten up, sweetheart. It’s not a sin to grab lunch.” The shadows moved behind her sunglasses in a swirling manner.

The afternoon sun was beating down and yet it was freezing beneath the little umbrella the waitress had helpfully opened for them. She leaned back into the sun, its alluring burn kissing her just a touch too rosy skin. “You would know about sins.” Beatrice murmured, swirling the ice in her glass. She did it too hard, scotch sloshed out onto the wood. She stared at the puddle.

Izzy, as she went by because her true name was a long combination of animal noises intertwined that was not polite to pronounce in public, let out a tinkling laugh. “You would too, darling.” She waited to see if Beatrice would reply and, when she didn’t, reached forward deliberately and mopped up the puddle with a carefully folded napkin. “Bea, you’re no fun when you’re like this. Did something happen?” The question was on purposely wobbling stilts, sure but acting differently. She’d known something would be wrong when she invited Beatrice to lunch.

A crow hopping along the fence let out a laugh. Izzy reached out and gently smoothed its feathers, casting a look up at the roof of the restaurant. Two doves sat there, peering at them with judging faces. Beatrice frowned up at them and waved her hand, a stiff breeze suddenly pushing against their little bodies. It sent them into the air, taking off for a location a few blocks over. “Ioath and Galizur. They got in trouble for my recent…deviation.” She picked the word from between thorns as sharp as holy swords.

Her demon hummed a soft note of sympathy and helped her lower her glass back to the table with a gentle push. Her hand remained there, gently curled over the top of Beatrice’s fingers. Her touch was holding snow for too long in your barehand, energizing and familiar in its promised burn. “They knew what they were getting into when they chose you. And this isn’t the first time it’s happened.” She reminded her in as gentle a tone as possible.

“It shouldn’t happen.” Beatrice insisted but her body remained relaxed, chin now resting in her free hand. She had said these words a million times, had been fighting this fight for all her life. No point in wasting the extra energy it would take to rise with her righteous anger.

“No, my dear, it shouldn’t. But you know how difficult it is to change an angel’s mind.”

Izzy had more to say but it was cut off. A woman suddenly leaned over from the nearest table, disgust on her sneering face. Her companion, another ugly souled woman, had her nose raised at them. “Homosexuality is a sin. You two should be ashamed of yourself.”

Beatrice winced and moved her hand so that it was covering her eyes, turning her head away from the idiot woman. A slow smile spread across her face though as she knew what was to come. Izzy very slowly removed her sunglasses, the pretty pastel catching the sun. “I beg your fucking pardon.” Oh her voice was honey and crystalized sugar.

Beneath the umbrella, in the shade, it wasn’t so obvious how dark Izzy’s eyes were. It was hard to notice the whites she forced to appear there slowly disappear. Or maybe the woman was just so blinded by her own opinion that she didn’t notice. “This is a well-respected establishment. They don’t need people like you bringing down its reputation.” She sniffed and Beatrice wondered if she smelled her own rot underneath that cloying perfume.

The crow, still enjoying Izzy’s gentle pets, let out another loud laugh. The women seemed to finally noticed it and both jumped in shock. It was theatrical, something Izzy liked to pull out for idiots like these two. She leaned forward, staying just within the shade, a draped hand resting under her chin. “Tell me, Karen Hopkins, do you really think your husband knows nothing of your affair?” An arrow flew from her mouth and pierced the woman’s armor, shock and fear instantly pouring into the air. It tasted like plums. “Or is he too busy covering for your rampant kleptomania to notice you screwing his golf buddy? Lovely bracelet by the way. Isn’t that Julia’s daughter’s? Or is it Helen’s from PTA?” The woman’s companion’s eyes snapped to Karen’s wrist, finally noticing her child’s missing bracelet in perfect plain view.

Anger joined the swirl, a hint of paprika that turned into the spice of a habanero pepper. Beatrice turned her head to the sky, closed her eyes, and let out a low throaty laugh as she drank in the intoxicating combination.

Darkness poured from Izzy’s eyes, the void opening in the two cavities and pushing out into the world. Tendrils of shadow lashed out at the woman who was now transfixed in horror. “Homosexuality is no sin, Missus Hopkins. Consider your owns sins the next time you wish to accuse others.” The demon warned, voice dropping low into a banging cave echo.

Izzy snapped her fingers, the sharp click as loud as a lightning strike. The spell broke around them, fizzing at the edges like water meeting magma. Suddenly, Karen was staring back at Julia who found the bracelet on her friend’s wrist very familiar. A heated discussion broke between them, turning into a shouting match in a matter of seconds. “That was beautiful.” Beatrice complimented before downing her drink in one long gulp, not caring to look over as Julia pulled Karen by her hair.

“No one insults you and gets away with it, my heart.” Izzy replied, placing her sunglasses back over her eyes. The shadows were sealed behind them again and the demon smiled lovingly in Beatrice’s direction.

Demons and monsters that torture people because they feed on human suffering are so dumb. People are suffering everywhere my guy go literally any place and take a deep whiff.

The LORE!

At the beginning of everything, before time or space, there was heaven. Heaven was a place of white and gold, with towering columns that stretched into the sky. Within this city were angels. Beings of light and knowledge. However, nothing pure can last long. The leader of Heaven, Kolab, had two sons. The youngest was called Lucifer.

Lucifer was a dreamer. He saw visions and had plans for the future. However, his father and the Angelic Council fear these radical ideas and tried to muffle Lucifer's voice.

As hard as they tried, others got wind of these ideas. Six other angels joined Lucifer in his quest for progress. They were, Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Leviathan, Belphagor, and Asmodeus. The Angelic Council feared that if their ideas were to spread, they would lose their power. So, they cast Lucifer and his crew into the vast darkness that surrounded heaven.

THE LOOORE (part three (buckle up))

Their plan was simple. Lilith would lead Eve to the Tree of Wisdom, and disappear. Then Lucifer would come in and convince her to partake of the fruit and share it with Adam.

It worked perfectly. Adam and Eve learned of free will. This angered heaven so much that Kolab sent the Angelic Council to kill his son, his followers, and his new love. The rebels flew to protect their leader, but the angels still outnumbered them. As Eden crumbled they stared into the pit their action created. 9 rings of darkness. Just as they were about to be killed, the fallen angels swore that as long as humanity survived, they would be there, whispering in the ears of mortals. They were slain, and their souls flew into the deep abyss. Lilith was so distraught that she cried herself to death, and her tears solidified into an elaborate mirror.

While the angels tried to clean up the mess, Adam and Eve already had a new family, all with free will. They couldn't undo this oversight. As they promised, the rebellious fallen angels did remain influential in humanity. Every once in a while, a human was born with the soul of one of these demons. Destined to shape history in way that would change it forever. Marie Antoinette (Beelzebub), Nero (Belphagor), Custer (Mammon), Caligula (Satan), Vlad the Impaler (Lucifer), Stalin (Leviathan), and Cleopatra (Asmodeus). All mortals bound to change the world...

The Plan (a.k.a The LORE part 4)

It is now the modern day. The Angelic Council has noticed a large influx of negativity and evil in the world. They soon fund that for the first Tome since the Dark Ages, all seven rebels souls roam the earth. They have a meeting with all of Heaven to determine a path of action. Some angels wish to strike down any possible vessels of the souls. However, many of the younger and more compassionate angels proposed a plan. They would send an angel down to find the vessels. They would then determine if they could be changed. To see if the power within these mortals could be harnessed for good.

Kolab, still harboring protective feelings for his son, agreed to this plan and sent one one of his most trusted angels, Mary. She was sent down disguised as a mortal woman. Mary Gayle.

Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss Characters as Dumb shit My Friends and I have said

Angel Dust: None. I am goung off of 20 minutes of sleep, an ungodly amount id coffee, and 5 Monster energy drinks.

Sorting Hellaverse Characters (part 1)

I'm a major geek and this is combining 2 of my fave things (Note: I do not support J.K. Rowling or her views, as a member of the lgbtq community I disagree with her statements. I grew up on harry Potter and separate it from the author)

Charlie: Hufflepuff

C'mon yall. What else would she be in? Charlie is loyal as heck, caring, kind, and fair. Girl is the ultimate Hufflepuff! Besides, "Happy Day in Hell" is such a Hufflepuff vibe.

Vaggie: Gryffindor

Brave? Check. Down to fight? Double check. Fiercely protect of those she loves? Oh yeah. Vaggie is a Gryffindor for sure. I can see an argument for Hufflepuff, but her lines in "Starts with Sorry" seal the deal for me.

Sir pentious: Ravenclaw

Speaking of "Starts with Sorry", everyone's favorite redeemed snake is not a slippery Slytherin, but a wise Ravenclaw. He's creative, smart, witty, and dramatic. He would be the kid hanging out with Luna Lovegood discussing Nargles and explaining the logistics of his Egg Bois to Hagrid.

Alastor: Slytherin

This man is the King of Cunning, the Emperor of Ambition. If he isn't a Slytherun, then I'm going to heaven! (And we know that probably ain't happening). The way this man acts is so Slytherin! He is Salazaar Slytherin himself!

Blitzø: Gryffindor

I'm kinda on the fence about this one. I had to do some process of elimination. He's not a Ravenclaw because Blitz has atrocious grammar and spelling. He's not a slytherin because while he is ambitious, he works hard and doesnt have the confidence. The main thing stopping him from Hufflepuff is his anger and confrontational tendencies. He is brave, ballsy, and fierce, so Gryffindor sounds right to me.

Katie killjoy: Slytherin

From one Brandon Rogers character to another. This lady is willing to do whatever she has to, step on any toes she can, and hurt Tom as much as possible on her way ro the top. She would be a Hogwarts girl that clung onto Draco's every word.

Sorting Hellaverse Characters (Part 2)

Adam:

Gryffindor. The ego, the self righteous bullshit, the horniness...I could keep goin all night. Adam is the worst parts of a Gryffindor all rolled into one Dick Master.

Lucifer:

H.U.F.F.L.E.P.U.F.F! More than anything, the DUCKIES!, the quirks, the ruler if hell screams puff to me. A cynical Hufflepuff is one of the rarest types, but they are the best ro party with. However I have been shown his Slytherin side, with his willingness to kill and his whole "Snake in Eden" thing. I'm gonna say he's a Slyther-puff.

Cherri Bomb:

Fire, destruction for no apparent reason, crazy hair, loyalty to friends...Cherri Bomb is a Gryffindor that would be besties with the Weasley twins and probably Seamus Finnigan.

Husker:

Another cynical Hufflepuff. The way he cares for Angel (yes I'm a huskerdust shipper, sue me) and the other residents, his loyalty, his hatred of injustice, they all pointing to him being a fluffy puffy

Angel Dust:

Go go Gryffindor! Go Go Gryffindor! His bravery, humor, bravado, loyalty, and willingness to fight ate keys to him being in the house if the lion. He is the reason there is a stereotype about horny Gryffindors.

Striker:

Ravenclaw. HEAR ME OUT! He's smart, witty, creative, he adapts his plans quite quickly, he gets informed about his target and the people around them, he knows about angelic weapons (more than some Hazbin characters). He doesn't necessarily barge into things, he isn't fighting for his friends, or just himself. He's fighting against people he sees as evil because of their actions towards others. Raven. Claw.

Sorting Hellaverse Characters (part 3)

Niffty-

Niffty is so hard to sort simply because of how chaotic she is and because of how little we know. She's not necessarily the brightest, so not Ravenclaw. But after that it gets tricky. She is brave enough to fight in the battle, but is it for the sake of killing, to help her friends, or did Alastor make her? I'm gonna say Slytherin just because of how she treats bugs. Only a Slytherin would "kill mother bugs in front of their children as a warning to others."

Lute-

Gryffindor. Done. I think to only argument would maybe be for Slytherin, but I don't think she was slaying for personal gain or satisfaction. I think she did it because she was told it was right.

Millie-

Another Gryffindor girlie! She's brave, valiant, loyal, and honest. She has all the factors of a Gryffindor. She is Godric Gryffindor in Hell.

Loona-

Slytherin. Hear me out! She is independent, angry, and has an attitude. She isn't big on outward displays of affection, and has anti-social tendencies. She is also fairly family oriented as seen by how she sticks up for and even still lives with Blitz, despite her outward distance towards him.

Verosika-

(Sweats in bisexual) Alright, today is just the day of Gryffindor girlies, because Verosika Mayday is brave! She is the girl making all the Gryffindor boys thirsty. She is sassy, larger than life, proud, honest, cocky, and something about her songs just scream Gryffindor.

I just noticed...

I just noticed, Charlie is literally the only one happy that this man (Alastor) is alive. Angel and Cherri are scared, Lucifer and Vaggie are angry, Husk is disappointed, and Niffty is surprised. Charlie is the only one displaying any joy that he's here.

Hazbin Hotel Characters as School Sports/Clubs

Alastor would absolutely be a cross country kid. He would tell people it isn't hard and not that far just to laugh when they collapse. As for clubs, I feel like Rosie would drag him to like book club and he just eventually becomes the vice president of it.

Charlie would be the one kid who is president of everything and still gets straight a grades. She would be in cheerleading, theater, student council, LGBTQ club, choir, show choir, speech, and probably in like 1000 AP classes

Vaggie would be the vice president to everything Charlie is in except choir, show choir, and theater. Instead I feel like she would be in wrestling. Lute is her rival from the nearby catholic school.

Sir Pentious would not be in any sports, rather he'd be the announcer guy. Problem is he doesn't know anything about any of the sports, so he's just trying to describe what's happening. He's terrible but no one has the heart to tell him. I also think he would be the founder of the robotics club and the Egg Bois would be the vice president, secretary, treasurer, etc. That way whatever insane idea he has just happens no matter what.
