Procrastinated some more on writing chapter 6 of Lost Cause by finishing up my doodle of beardy Gabriel Lorca, c.2270.
Jason Isaacs' face continues to elude me, but it was an excellent excuse to stare at it for an hour or so.

Super quick doodle of Laris and Zhaban from Star Trek: Picard.
I spent all of episode six wondering what Laris and Zhaban's true names are, and ... well.
A friend recently asked for my opinion on a piece of art for his game (a piece of art that was originally unsolicited, just to be fair here). Although there weren't any gravity defying breasts, bad anatomy, or cleavage hole armor, the posing was still pretty egregious.
So I took all of 2 minutes (if that) to sketch this out illustrating the problem and how easy it would be to fix.
Boobs and butt. Just say no. (Seriously. It's not hard people.)

yeah, so one friend (same one that told me to “canonize that prismo calls scarab’s ass a scrabby patty”) just finds it funny to draw sperm, and then got the brilliant idea to make the sperm to be gay characters. They then decided maceline and gumball would be t4t, rather than make it not sperm or have it be marshal and gary (because ofc marshal and gary are also t4t bcuz it was said so by us)
I should not be allowed to have a pen I’ll just begin drawing on whatever and whoever

I took some liberties and made a little starfish beanie cuz I didn’t know how to go about the hair, and I just thought it was cute so why not
The octopus is one of those shoulder-rider plush things, and I tried adding a cravat to represent the coral pipe beard..(?)
If there’s anything you want me to change, please let me know and I’ll figure something else out ^-^
But anyway, it’s like 4 in the morning and I’m so tired, heh

Played Tears of the Kingdom. Felt like I was going through the 5 stages of grief the entire time lmao.
I'm too tired to really explain everything this game made me feel. In a few words, I had high expectations going in and none of them were met :(. It felt like 6 years of anticipation quickly flushed down the toilet. I actually preordered the game and cleared some of my week to play it on release— two things I had never done before. That should give you an idea about how excited I was; the efforts I took in order to best enjoy the newest game of my favorite videogame series. The crash and burn was imminent, really.
I wanted to humorize the pain and absurdity I was put through during my playthrough. It's my way of accepting Totk for what it is and moving on now

her name is Honda (yes, like the car) and she’s a greaser! she’s 18– turning 19 on september 14th!

she works at the dingo, mostly to protect the other girls that work there and occasionally break up fights (if she isn’t in them)
she moved to tulsa with her mother when she was 7 in 1955, and ended up neighbors with the curtis family! their mothers got along, so she met the boys by being invited over for playdates (and may or may not be the reason why ponyboy learned to run so fast due to her chasing him)
two-bit and steve were darry and soda’s friends back then, so she’d play with them occasionally as well
her mother died the day after she turned 18– and during her grieving period she relied heavily on mr. and mrs. curtis, but they ended up getting into a car crash only a couple months later.
both honda and the curtis brothers were hit really hard by their parents deaths and having no one else to rely on, so they ended up bonding a lot during this period
honda has respect for darry and how he took responsibility to care for the boys, and helps him occasionally even when she struggles to take care of her own situation
she cares for soda pony and johnny like her little brothers :)
she graduated from high school, but gave up going to college after her mom died
she actually was a surprisingly good student
hated seeing darry have to give up his dreams of college— tried to desperately work jobs to help them save but it was never enough
also cried with soda when they couldn’t buy mickey mouse
can often be found on shift at the dingo, working another job, or sleeping on the couch at the curtis house
she’d often roughhouse with the rest of the gang & join in rumbles
she, dally, and two-bit would go around doing stupid shit, but if they catcalled any girls she’d punch them
sometimes two-bit will ask her how to get with girls and she’ll just stare at him like 😐

she’s rather proud of the muscles she’s built up, though it does get her some weird looks sometimes
she’s friends with the other girls at the dingo because she takes care of them, sometimes she’ll go hang out with them because she’s worried about some guy picking on them (they just think she wants to hang out though)
loves her beat up red pickup truck that runs on hopes and dreams
i have more of her seeping into the very crevices of my brain but i think it may be best to leave off here today 🙏
