So yeah dis is my blog I guess. As you can tell by my title header. Yes I am a witch. More of a witchling right now. Since in about a week it will officially be a year since I first gotten into my craft. And if you are wondering I lean more to celtic wicca and some folk wicca.

That aside on to the fun part. And explain other random stuff about me you will mostly see on here.

- I kin with gremlins and raccoons. (I am not like one of those crazy other kin peeps trust me. I just really l connect with them XDD) So yes, I am and will post a lot of Gremlin/Cottagecore esque aesthetic or pictures of things I collect or have.

-And yes since I am a witch there will be some witchy aesthetic posts and stuff.

- I love animals obviously. I have a dog and two guinea pigs. As well as a pet rock who I will show later in a bit. (Dont have a name yet XD)

- I am a artist and writer. I have a pay pal and stuff. And will make a post later on that. If you want a commission or something.

- I am bi

- For music I love anything really except for most pop and country. So pretty much anything Bon Iver to Oliver Tree to Cavetown to Melanie Martinez to TNBH to Juice Wrld to Marilyn Manson....yep. (If theres a specific one you want to know or compare music just ask)

- And thats about it really. So if want to know more just ask. I am usually bored as hell and never too busy. So if you want to chat or message me dont be shy too. 👌

Also I know that its not good to use the goblincore hashtag like that. But I am just using it out spreading this around since not many know really of the hashtag/name change. A lot of people are still calling it goblincore everywhere else. And just want to be sure they reach here too.

This happened about a week or so ago. But around the 24th I had school. And of course I do my daily routine. A little happy knowing since the 24 kind of marked my transition into becoming wiccan. Making a first degree witch now. So I was happy knowing my practice and work feels like it boosted a bit.

But anyway. I do what I need to do. Go on the bus, get off the bus. When I get off I usually stand in a certain spot outside until they open the doors to let everyone inside the school. As I walk over to my spot I thought I saw some wrapper on the ground. But no. It was a live little bloomed rose. Note it is freezing freezing cold 30 and below. And the small little gardens around my school are all dead. Also V day passed so all the flowers and trash stuff would be gone or blown off.

I then remember that the fae can leave gifts of nature to you. And something clicked. The fae gave me a gift. I guess like a congrats gift or a thank you gift. Since I have been caring for our only and first house plant. And the fae love nature and of course when they saw me do that. And they might have picked up on me at work. Soooo yeah.

I was really happy and enjoyed my time with this gift. I decided to take a few pictures since I just thought it was adorable and kind of wanted to draw it. And maybe give it and a few other things in return. But I did not want to keep it neither. Since I am not that close yet with the fae. As lovely as they can be. For all I know it could have been a contract. And I did not want to burry it or leave it there out of the school. Since I did not want some aloof person taking the gift. So I set it under a tree near the front of my house. :)

Also I ended up putting it in a container and tried keeping it safe the whole day until I was home. XD. I really did not want to crush it or have it fall since I knew my clumsy gremlin self might do that. But thank the gods I didn't. 🌿👌

But yeah first time ever receiving a gift from the fae. As sweet as it is best to know my stuff 100% first. Not too bad for my first time neither.

So Ostara for me was not too good. I thought and planned on communicating with my first deceased guinea pig Gus/Gus Gus. Basically through out my Ostara day. I was working on the over load of school work. And I noticed one of my teachers posted something about loss and grieving. I did not think much of it since.. There is a lot going on. And I went to check on my current guinea pigs. And I noticed Simon limping and not walking right.

All in all I am scared for him I am keeping him close and watching him. If you can fellow witchlings please send some encouragement. We both might need it we are going to take him to the vet soon. It most likely a bruise/soreness. Since I feel nothing broken. Either way if its anything more we need to put him down. Which might be the hardest thing I can do/think of right now... Thank you🙏🔮🙏

In the past I mentioned how my boy, Simon was not doing well. And he now has fully recovered on his own. I am really happy now knowing he is not permanently hurt. And would like to thank the peeps out there who helped send good vibes to me and him. 💗✨💗

Hi, I'm 1/2 Polish, 3/8 Colombian, and 1/8 Native American. I wasn't really raised with any particular culture, but my grandmother who's half Native regrets not teaching my dad Native witchcraft. She wants to teach me, but since I wasn't raised with the culture I'm unsure, I feel as though I'd be appropriating the culture. I do want to learn about it, but I'm unsure about practicing it since I wasn't raised with Native culture. Do you think I should say yes since its my grandmother?

It would not hurt to learn about . Especially if your grandmother (who is part of native culture) wants to show you. Plus it's a added bonus to get the chance to bond with your grandmother.

But since you are 1/8 which is pretty low then you may not be a good idea to 100% practice it. But never hurts to admire the culture with her have her give you few spells or heirlooms. You could try and incorporate small things related native culture into your craft. (Ex: feathers, bones/antlers, drums, rattles) Or try ancestry magic if that part of yourself really calls to you.

Or you can use it to make a representation of yourself and this in turn will be an "extension" of you and you can put it on your altar. so that a part of you is "accompanying" to the altar. Before using it, in general, before using it, it is "baptized" in the name of the person who is going to represent the doll.

I want to add one thing that may be a bit obvious

but it is necessary to remember.

They can substitute one candle for another in case they don't have it in hand when they need it.

for example: if you are going to do something related to love, you would normally use a pink candle but you can substitute a red candle.

*not all crystals or (quartz) can be added with water as this could "wear out" or "dilute"

how to load and clean quartz

Witchy Weekly Challenge: Week 6: Mundane Can Be Magical!

Hello again everyone! Your resident Duck has returned with the next weekly challenge (albeit a bit earlier than the last one haha). I was ecstatic to see how many people loved week 5's challenge and I hope you all enjoyed participating! This week's theme is "mundane can be magical"!

The challenge is:

Put your favourite music on. Feel the music, dance if you want to, sing your heart out, laugh at yourself.

Cook yourself something. Mindfully consider your ingredients, focus on the energy you want to bring to your food. Make whatever you want, however you like it. Enjoy your food, with gratitude for all the work you put into it.

Choose an outfit to wear. Pick out items that make you feel good. Perhaps pick crystal jewellery for the energy you want to introduce into your day. Observe how you feel wearing your outfit.

What/where are your favourite scents in the world? What makes these scents special to you? Maybe you can experiment with using these scents in your grimoire/BOS?

Spend time with your favourite people. Observe how you feel around them. Write a note for them to tell them how special they are to you and give it to them.

Where is your favourite place to just sit and relax? Go there if you can and spend some time without technology.

What is something that most people consider mundane but you can see the magic of? Spend the day embracing that "mundane thing" in whatever way you would like.
