This is the Pinewood Shulk! It's a tall boy that creeps through pine forests eating pinecones. It doesn't mind people because it has 1 brain cell, and most people don't even know it's there because it moves really slow, stands in places for long periods of time, and its legs are camouflaged to look like the trunks of the trees. If you'd like to attract this cryptid friend to your backyard, any pine tree will do, but it especially favors sugarcone. 🌲🌲🌲

Finally found evidence of the Sassquatch... I've been hunting it for years now, following its prints, listening for the faint sounds of clapping in the night. You all told me I was crazy. Well, who's the fool now?!
I went on holiday so I couldn't do more on wwattober, but I did get a new journal that I drew a couple things in

[A plague doctor was a physician who tended to the victims of the bubonic plague during epidemics mainly in the 16th and 17th-century Europe. However The continued sightings of plague doctors is concerning, as they have not been needed due to modern medicine. I fear, with doctors comes plagues.]

In some traditions, wendigos were created when a human resorted to cannibalism to survive.The skull "mask" can be made from a variety of different skulls, most commonly dear, elk, moose, ram, wolf, and human.The existence of different types of skulls may be reason to believe the wendigo curse doesn't only target humans.After all, humans aren't the only things desperate to survive.]
These are pretty much pre-existing creatures but with a bit of my own lore and ideas thrown in. I'm also planning on adding a few of my own original creatures to it at some point.

Cole was travelling around for a while too after he ran away from the dance school. He was out rock-climbing whatever mountain he could find. And we know that powers didn’t just come from their weapons, so he’s likely had superstrength & improved climbing skills that he didn’t notice—
So imagine this:
Local Villager: Making my way to the market, walking fast, faces pass—
[Sees a teen free-scale a 90 degree sheer cliff with no supplies, no rope, and no shirt in three seconds flat.]
Local Villager:
Local Villager, picking up speed: Walking faster so the spider demon cryptid doesn’t get me—
And heck, while we’re at it, if Jay ever tested any of his other intentions in the city/edge of the desert— POV you’re driving down the only road for miles in the Sea of Sand, it’s dawn, still dark but the barest hints of sunlight, mostly lit up by the sparking, flickering old street lamps here and there. You suddenly spot a strange shape at the side of the road and slow down, peering with squinting, curious eyes out of your window.
Bright beams of light like glowing eyes (special goggles) snap up to stare at you. You can’t really make out anything else— crooked shapes like mangled wings, perhaps, or jutting limbs out of the sand.
Startled and scared, you floor it, watching as all the street lamps around you suddenly fizzle out with a wild pop as if the lightbulbs just exploded. You hear an almost inhuman screech behind you, and vow never to drive this road again— at least not without the noon sun watching your back.
Anyway so yeah Zane, Cole, and Jay all having old cryptid rumours about them without knowing it, and Kai having heard about all three from passing travellers in his village while working the forge. He finds out later those three “Cryptids” are now his teammates
And then along comes Lloyd with even more cryptid rumours of the “red eyed feral raccoon child in the darkness that steals sugar” because Oni + dragon + candy-crazy runaway ex-Darkley’s kid
Dude I like to think that in his early life living in the woods with Dr Julien, Zane was a local cryptid for a while. There's just this really tall, almost expressionless guy dressed in all white that wanders around the woods. If he sees you struggling, sometimes firewood for the winter will show up outside your house. He disappears into the forest without a trace or a sound as soon as you see him. People make up stories about him. "Yeah I got this scar from the white demon of the forest" and "my family was blessed with extra fish because we left out warm soup for the winter spirit"
I just think that would be neat

Hello. I like cryptids and decided to make a Mothman for my window. I love him.
Got super inspired by this post who I think did a much more phenomenal job than I- but I, too, wanted to make some cute banners for my new room. Please give credit to the original creator and please don’t repost.:) Have a good night.
My coworker is an atheist and I was telling her one I just wanted to leave work and go home to watch Bigfoot videos. She told me she can’t be convinced to believe in Bigfoot and I quickly responded with “Like Jesus, even though you don’t believe in him, Bigfoot still loves you.” and we both died laughing.
Decorated my current pencil case. Mostly Mothman, a hint of other cryptids:)
So I committed a a sin and made a fanfic about Sasquatch romance here. Give it a read if you want
So, the place I work at changed owners, hence my sudden rise in positions.
But in the beginning, the new owner had me fill out an eleven page packet, front to back, on getting to know me.
I looked at my coworkers and confidently said, “I’m gonna write about Bigfoot.”
And I was dead ass serious.
I wrote about Bigfoot, Ufology, paranormal investigating, conspiracy theories as well as other pseudosciences and my passion for writing. I also wrote about my enjoyment to become an actor, director, and create other projects. I wrote all of this partly because it’s all true and I hold dear but also because I half assed it. Thinking they would think it was ridiculous.
They approached me days later after I filled that thing front to back and told me how much they appreciated my authenticity.
So, long story short and the message of this story is to always write about Bigfoot.✨
