I just want to look at the abominable things people do to fan art okay?

The FCC sided with Comcast and decided to let ISPs censor the internet. The Internet needs to stop this from happening: http://cms.fightforthefuture.org/tellfcc/

image

Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.

We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.

We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]

This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?

Iesin rubbing his muzzled face against the wall brings me overwhelming whumper flies like nothing else!!

me too, anon, me too

The fae is sick. Fever-bright eyes greet Talvos that morning, when he enters the lab. The creature is braced against the bars of its cage, slumped over like a wilting plant. Its wings sag behind it, even in their current bound state, and its hands are limp and heavy in its lap.

Talvos sets aside the tools he was going to clean and goes to the cage. The fae's eyes drift across him in glassy incomprehension, and it twists its head away after a moment. Pale blood decorates the bar it's leaning its head against. It shifts its face back and forth, rubbing the edge of its muzzle against the blood-slick bar, and Talvos winces as fresh fluid seeps up slowly from the chafed, raw edge of the device keeping its voice locked away.

"Don't-" Talvos squeezes the bars of the cage. "Don't do that," he pleads. "Don't do that, I'll get some water, alright? You need a drink."

The fae flinches at the touch of his voice, and pauses to look, with wandering, drifting focus, for the source of it. As Talvos turns away to find a flask, he sees the creature resume its mindless habit again. He quickens his footsteps and returns after a few moments with a full flask of water and some salve, gauze, and tape.

The cage door clattering open breaks the fae's feverish concentration, and it flinches away from the opening, slipping off of its support on the bars and sliding down to the ground. Talvos hooks an ankle and tugs it, despite its feeble thrashing, close enough to get a better grip.

"I'm not going to hurt you," he soothes, though he doesn't expect to be believed. And indeed, the fae doesn't, but it is too ill and weak to resist for long, and soon subsides into panting, breathless stillness. In the moment that Talvos takes to uncork the flask and set it aside, it resumes rubbing its face against the floor.

"Hey-" Talvos interposed his hand in between the creature's face and the floor. "Come on, let's get that off."

The fae's eyes dart across his reaching hands with uncomprehending horror, and a strangled keen drifts out from behind the leather. Talvos unlocks the buckles at the back of its head, and pulls the device away from the creature's face. Raw, irritated flesh and open burns line the fae's cheekbones and the underside of its jaw, aggravated on one side into a flush of infection by its rubbing. It takes shallow gasps of air, mouth drifting open a little to air pointed teeth. Talvos lifts its head and raises the flask to its lips.

"Drink up," he urges. He tips it until a little water flows into the fae's mouth, and it swallows automatically, even as its eyes roam across the ceiling without seeing.

Talvos lets it drink, in small, measured doses, until the flask is half empty, and then he sets it aside. "You can have more soon," he promises. It doesn't much matter whether the fae understands, but he likes to think narrating what he's doing might help on some small level.

When he looks back, the fae is watching him with something closer to its usual sharp gaze. Talvos blinks.

"More later," he repeats. "After I do something about those sores."

The fae twists its head in his hand, in the same rubbing motion, though there's no muzzle to remove, and Talvos' hand is no floor or cage bar. He wraps his fingers around the back of its neck, bracing his grip, and daubs his other fingers into the pot of salve.

"Hold still," he instructs, though he's not surprised when the fae doesn't listen. He tucks his thumb against the creature's jaw, earning a delirious hiss, and begins anointing the open wounds with the paste. The fae hisses again, and needle-sharp teeth latch into the side of Talvos' thumb. He yelps and jerks his hand away, accidentally dropping the fae's head back to the stone floor. The impact seems to daze it, and it goes limp, eyes drifting half-shut. Talvos mutters a curse and wraps his thumb with some of the gauze, then checks the creature's head. It's not swelling, not even bruised, so he lets it be and continues working on its face, moving quickly before it comes out of its absent state. He swipes a layer of salve across all the open wounds, then tapes down gauze over that. Finally, he gives the fae more water, and that at least seems to revive it a little.

"I have to put this back on," Talvos says after it's finished the flask.

The fae, still not quite lucid, keens softly. It twists its head in Talvos' hand again, but doesn't struggle when the stiff leather wraps once more across its face. Talvos does up the buckles in grim silence. The device settles against the layers of gauze, protecting the open wounds from its direct touch, and Talvos leaves it a notch looser than he's normally allowed, hoping that breathing easier will still its urge to rub it off. He sets the fae's head down gently, and moves away.

"I'll be back in a little while, with some medicine and food," he says.

The fae doesn't move from its pliant position on the floor of the cage. Talvos sighs and closes the door. As he stands and starts to turn away, he sees the creature start to rub the edge of the muzzle against the floor again. Its slow, mindless rhythm follows him, etching regret and a tinge of hopeless anger into his soul as fever-glassy eyes watch his retreat towards medicine and small kindnesses which pale in useless comparison to the enormity of the injustice caging it.

i think charles should be pinned to the floor by edwin. i don't really care how it happens. but i have one scenario in my head. imagine that scene in the first episode when charles tries to convince edwin to learn to defend himself. so it's basically the same scene, but edwin is without boxing gloves. they're practicing, edwin's really trying, and charles gets distracted by his arms (his sleeves are rolled up), so edwin ends up on top of charles. and the rest is up to your imagination

And no one alive - bar Jod and his fucked up fists and gestures - has ever seen Pyrrha's.

Every time I remember that Pyrrha has never seen Palamedes’s face I suddenly want to jump into a trash compactor.

; I know assuming someone is queer based on their appearances is bad and promotes stereotypes that are harmful and I'd never genuinely judge someone based on their apperance but ... You ever just see someone and think " if that mf is cishetallo then my gaydar has been destroyed by a target shopping cart of straightness and barbecues because holy friend of mara they're gay. " like is it just me or do some people just ?? Fruit ??
