Habits to get into in 2024
Drink enough water People usually say you’re supposed to drink 8 glasses a day, but that is more of an arbitrary number. It can be an orientation, but ultimately just drink the amount of water that makes you feel good
Get 8 hours of sleep This one is not an arbitrary number. Go to sleep! It’s important
Simplify your skincare routine While a lot of ppl online make it seem like the more products the better, that doesn’t have to be true for you. You could wash your face with water or do the classic “cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen”. This also produces less waste and costs less time
Go for a walk everyday Getting in movement and fresh air everyday is important for both your mental and your physical health
Do stretches/yoga everyday Additionally stretches can help improve your mobility and reduce back pain
Eat nutritious meals Food has to be filling and delicious. Remember the formula of protein, carbs and fiber
Be kind to yourself and the planet waste separation, public transportation, buying secondhand etc. you know the drill
Practice consistency Focus on discipline instead of motivation and actually keep up with your goals. A habit tracker is helpful to do this
Give yourself breaks You can only be productive if you allow yourself to not always be productive. Take breaks and actually find things that help you relax. You deserve it
Be kind & open towards new people You attract the energy that you put out. Be kind
Yes and? Yes
you do not need to spend a bunch of money to become the girl of your (and everyone else's) dreams. what you need is to take a good look at your daily habits and understand that beautiful hair and skin come from clean eating habits and hydration; that a gorgeous body comes from adequate nutrition and physical effort; that confidence comes from a tranquil mind and decent sleep; that no person of importance neglects their hygiene or dwells in excessive behavior... it needs to start from a force within you, from intuitive adjustments. then, afterwards, you can buy the expensive moisturizer. as a treat, not a need.

What I did today:

- I drank 4 glasses of water.
- I was outside my room more than I usually am.
- Stretched after I woke up.
- Ate breakfast and a health-ish dinner.

- Nighttime guided journal.
♡ Mental Health
- Completed a section of "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie.
♡ Intellectual Health
- Finished lesson 1 and 2 and practiced those two lessons on MochiKana.
♡ Self Care
- Did my AM skincare and also brushed my teeth AM.
- Did my PM skincare (also used a cleansing oil which I haven't used in a while.) and also brushed my teeth PM.
- Took a long shower PM.
- Checked-in my emotions on Moodee (app)
♡ Personal Projects
- I worked on 2 of my writing projects.
- I almost finished a section on one of those writing projects.
Reflection:
I am very proud of myself for what I did today, and even though it might not seem much to others it is more then what I would usually do when I have no school.
Hopefully tomorrow I can stay on track, but also rest my eyes and give them a break(I have really sensitive eyes.).
I am going to go to bed in an hour or so because it is a bit too early to go to sleep and everyone in the house is awake and they are probably going to wake me up.

- Went with my mom to pick up my little brother.
- Went to the beach after and then also went to a restaurant to eat lunch.

- Read a few chapters of "how to make friends and influence people".

- Checked-in on Moodee.
♡ Intellectual Health
- Did two units on HeyJapan.
♡ Self Love
- Did AM skincare and brushed my teeth.
- Did PM skincare (just wet my face and toner, because I was so tired) and brushed my teeth.
- Spent a lot of time outside and in the sun.
♡ Personal Projects
- Worked on 2 of my writing projects.
- I finished one section of one of the writing projects. (didn't really work a lot on the other one).
Reflection:
I doesn't really feel like I did a lot, but I think that's because I spent majority of the day at the beach (4,5 hours).
But I am going to go to bed earlier than what I usually do because I'm so tired and I also have a massive headache, and also because I have to wake up earlier tomorrow as I am going to school and the power is going to be out.
So the only thing I will be posting tomorrow is my end year exam results, and also how I felt about it and blah blah blah.

Some of My 2024 Goals
I've been thinking about my 2024 goals a lot recently, so I thought I'd share some it with you
having good grades i know 2023 was my first year back in my home country and I did do pretty decent but i didn't give my best due to personal reasons, and I don't want that for 2024.
improving self-love/care because i am going to be really busy with school I want to take some time every week with no school work and just relax.
taking care of my appearance taking time out of my day to do my skincare, haircare, eat healthier and exercise ect.

My Fitness Plan (sort of)
Okay so it isn't actually off season but it is for me and school was hectic so here I am.
Last term I went to netball trials and since I haven't played this sport in like 5 years, I didn't expect to do good (I didn't). I am in the team E/F. I mostly want to get more fit and familiarize myself with netball drills and things like that.
Running
I am mostly going to run with time. For example, one day I am going to run for 5 minutes nonstop and the next day I just add 1 or 2 minutes. Something like that.
Drills
Since I am a Wing Attack (WA) I want to do drills mainly focussing on my speed, agility and balance. I also want to focus on my footwork and fundamentals of ballwork.
And I think also refreshed my knowledge of the rules and other things like that. I will also update every day on what drills/workouts I did that day.

Yesterday was really fun. Hermanus is really beautiful but kinda overrated. Spent some time with my family and ate some really good food. I did spill something on my shirt but! I did get a new shirt out of it.
What I spent with some of my birthday money (haul)
I finally went shopping with some of my birthday money a couple of days ago!! So, why not share it with you guys.
Garnier BB Cream - Light
Because my school is strict and we're not allowed not use makeup, I decided to buy bb cream just to hide some blemishes and pimples.
Essence cover stick
I only use this on the weekends when I don't go the school but I it has the same purpose as the bb cream, but I just want a little more coverage on those days.
Essence mascara
I'll use the gel mascara when I have to go the school or when I want it to look like I have no mascara on. My lashes lay very flat so people can't see how long my lashes really are.
I'll use the maximum definition when I want more volume in my lashes and I'll also use it on weekends and not when I have school.
Essence nail polish
I bought the repair and care base coat because I regularly use nail polish and I don't want it to damage my nails.
And I bought pink ink because I really wanted a pink nail polish and I already have 2 purple ones from Essence. And I only use the coloured nail polishes on weekends.
