You had become a hunter a few years ago when a group of werewolves had killed your family, that’s when you met Sam and Dean Winchester. Meeting them had been the best thing to happen to you, even under the circumstances in which you had met. You’d gotten your revenge, but it hadn’t made you feel better like you thought it would but the Winchester’s helped you out. They offered you shelter in their newly found bunker, and you had become close to both of them. Sam was your best friend; he was the one you went to about things you couldn’t tell Dean, the one you nerded out with. He was like your brother. Dean Winchester was something entirely different. You adored him from the moment you had met him. This life was hard, and Dean had tried to deny his feelings for you whilst trying to make you do the same, it didn’t work out. Eventually, Sam talked some sense into Dean and you two had gotten together. He was terrified something would happen to you but knew you could protect yourself though he had given you a speech about how in this life it was dangerous and there was no time for that perfect picket fence and apple pie life that most people dreamed about. You’d known that from the moment you had gotten involved in hunting though but any moment you spent with Dean was so much better than that life.
Recently you had been skipping cases that popped up, opting to stay at the bunker instead. It’s not that you wanted to but recently you’d been throwing up, with was unusual for you. You started the day of bent over the toilet, Dean holding your hair back and wiping your face for you even though you protested him being there. Throughout the day you felt better but you had been more snappy than usual with the boys as of late, the other day you had snapped at Castiel for something so minor and stupid, it had ended in you crying into Castiel’s shoulder as you chocked out an apology and he awkwardly held you until Dean showed up. You had no idea what was wrong with you, your emotions were usually something you had a grip on, in this life, you had to otherwise you’d be having a breakdown every other day. Whilst you were confused, you had to ignore it as best you could as you sat in the library reading over lore books to help the boys with a new case.
Dean had run out to the store to grab a few things you guys needed in the bunker whilst Sam had gone out for takeout. You were thankful he had as you had a real craving for your favourite food from the place, it was the one thing you had been looking forward to as you and Castiel read book after book. You looked up as the door slammed shut and Sam came in, shortly after he put your food in front of you and immediately your appetite went, your face paled as you stood up. You knew you wouldn’t make it to the toilet so quickly made your way over to the trash can and began to puke, tears ran down your face, a mixture of tiredness, being fed up of puking and disappointment over your usually favourite meal making you sick before you even had a bite. Sam came over and began to rub your back with one hand whilst his other held your hair back, you thought you heard him ask Castiel to grab you a bottle of water but you were so focused on your pity party you weren’t sure.
Once you had finished puking you leaned back against Sam, letting him wrap his arms around you as you cried. Sure enough, a water bottle was being held against your lips and you drank slowly before pushing it away from you, a whine leaving your lips. You vaguely recall seeing Castiel leave the room again as Sam helped you up, most of your weight on him as he helped you to your room. Gently he laid you on yours and Dean’s bed, tucking you in before taking a seat on the bed himself. He had noticed your behaviour over the past few weeks, nearly a month. He noticed the exhaustion you were feeling, made note of your sickness, Dean told him about how you usually felt better after puking in the morning but sometimes complained of stomach pains. He took note of your ever-changing mood, one minute you were snapping at someone and the next you were crying into their shoulder and then went back to your regular self. He had a hunch of what could be causing this but wasn’t sure how to bring it up, the best tactic was probably to ease into it but he hated seeing you like this so just tried to ask as best he could without upsetting you further.
“Y/N, I know you’ve noticed your own behaviour these past few weeks. The lack of sleep, the morning sickness, the cravings, the mood swings, hell even your favourite food is making you sick. Is there any chance you could be,” here he paused, looking at you waiting for understanding to cross your features, instead your eyebrows knitted together in confusion. ‘Great’ Sam thought to himself, ‘the thought had never crossed your mind.’
“Y/N, I think you might be pregnant.” He watched as your face betrayed a range of emotions in such a short space of time, confusion, sadness, happiness, anger, hope all showed before you settled on disbelief. There was no way you could be pregnant, you and Dean were careful, you had to be! This wasn’t the kind of life you could bring a child into. You liked this life and you knew Dean did too, you couldn’t take that away from him but you also knew you couldn’t get rid of this baby if you were even pregnant. You were freaking out over something you didn’t know was certain yet but deep down you knew, it was the only reasonable explanation for your mood, the sickness and tiredness. Thinking about it now you realised you had missed you period. You let out a choked sob, letting Sam wrap his arms around you tightly.
“I can check for you,” Castiel said causing you both to look up. You nodded, still clutching Sam as Cas came over and pressed his hand gently on you before pulling away, a small smile threatening to spread onto his face as he nodded to you. You gasped, more tears flowing down your face as Sam rubbed your back. He let himself smile without you seeing, ‘I’m going to be an uncle!”
“How am I supposed to tell Dean? He’s going to hate me!”You sobbed causing Sam to laugh softly.
“Dean couldn’t hate you if he tried and you know it. Just tell him, he’s gonna be shocked but trust me I’ve seen him with kids and he’s gonna be the best dad and you, you’re going to be a great mom.”He smiled down at you causing you to smile back up at him, tears still ran down your face but came to a stop as you thought of the good things. These hormones were really going to be a bitch these next nine months.
“And you and Cas get to be Uncles!” You grin at them both. Castiel’s eyes widened, he knew he was a part of the family but moments like this really opened his eyes to how much he loved the family he had been accepted into, he wouldn’t change it for anything.
“Whoa, what’s going on in here?” Dean asked as he entered your room. He had come into the bunker and saw the evidence that you had puked again, takeout cartons full but discarded on the table and immediately sought you out. He didn’t expect to see you laying in bed clutching Sam, tears evident on your cheeks, Castiel smiling to the side. Once he’d made his presence known the room was tense and he couldn’t help but worry, they clearly knew something he didn’t.
“You want Cas and me to leave whilst you tell him?” He heard Sam ask and couldn’t help but frown, ‘what the hell is going on?’ He looked at Cas who smiled but shook his head. You asked Sam and Cas to stay in the room before beckoning Dean over, he complied and sat opposite you on the bed, hand reaching up to wipe stray tears from your face.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” He asked, and you shook your head, controlling your emotions was bloody hard when you were pregnant, how the hell were you going to cope with nine months of this!
“I need to tell you something, and you’re going to freak out but just listen ok?” You asked him and he nodded his head straight away, his eyes filled with concern. God, you loved him so much. You couldn’t imagine not being with him; the thought of him leaving you now had your eyes filling with tears. Thankfully none spilled, you’d had enough of crying. “You’ve obviously noticed my mood has been a bit all over the place recently and I’ve been really sick and not sleeping well. Sam had an idea of what it could be, and Castiel was able to confirm his idea. Baby, I’m pregnant.”
You watched as Dean’s eyes widened in disbelief, waiting for the argument to come but it never did. Instead, Dean’s face softened and he whispered, “I’m gonna be a dad?” You nodded, a smile forming on your own face. He moved you from Sam’s arms and into his own, kissing you gently before wrapping you into a tight hug himself. Castiel joined you all on the bed and smiled at Sam who grinned back. -

Obviously, it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine. You and Dean needed to sit down and have a very serious and mature conversation about the future. Thankfully the boys weren’t just staying in motels or their car anymore, they had a stable home which you had been invited into on day one. After a bit of baby-proofing, you were convinced to stay there; it was the first place you and them had called home in a long time and you didn’t want to move. You talked about hunting, Dean didn’t want his kid being raised a hunter, which you understood and supported, but he didn’t want to give up being a hunter. You’d made the decision to stop full time, instead, you would help out from the bunker with the research and looking up lore in the books.
Castiel and Sam had gone a bit mental buying things for the baby, going even more overboard once they found out you were having a baby girl. Dean had cried at that news, he was going to have a baby girl! He knew she was going to ruin his life in the best way possible, even more so if she was anything like you. You had gotten a better grip on your emotions but were still a mess on the best of days. You knew your little girl was going to have every man in this house wrapped around her finger, she wasn’t even here yet and her daddy and uncles were spoiling her rotten.
The day you went into labour, let’s just say you’ve never seen two hunters and an angel look so hopeless, scared and horrified. Dean was in the room with you as you gave birth and though he was pale and sweaty, he’d somehow gotten through it. He praised you continuously, telling you how well you were doing, how you were gonna be the best mom. When he held her you saw the moment he fell in love, your baby girl wrapped her fist around his finger and he was gone, tears ran down his face as he held the girl like she was going to break. He kissed you sweetly, thanking any God that would listen for you, thanking you for putting up with him, told you how much he loved you and you did the same. Sam and Castiel entered the room shortly after and went through the same process you and Dean had. Sam looked at the baby like she was the most precious thing in the world, he’d do anything for her. You smiled as he pressed a slow and gentle, barely there, kiss upon her head before passing her off to Castiel. The angel looked down at your daughter and then back at you, telling you the amazing job you’d done. He was in love, if there was any chance of him going back to Heaven it was squashed as he looked down at your baby girl and swore he’d protect her against anything. Finally, the baby was passed back to you and a few tears fell from your eyes as you leaned against Dean and looked around at your small family.
“Y/D/N, you’re gonna be so loved and protected by everyone in this room.” You whispered as you kissed her head. Dean wrapped his arms around both of you and kissed you again.
“I love you so much, Y/N.”
“I love you too, baby.”

Prompt - White - “We’re not fine” “No, but if anyone asks, lie and tell them we are”
You sat in the green room, detached from everyone else, staring at your phone trying to seem busy as your mind was a million miles away. They always said never get involved with somebody you worked with but you thought this one would work, it had worked for two years until he had left you two days before a convention where you had to be a smiles and laughs. As if going through a breakup wasn’t bad enough you had to pretend you weren’t heartbroken.
~ two days ago ~
You sat on one side of the table with Jared on the other side, tears filled your eyes but you refused to let them fall as Jared played with his hands, a sad look upon his face. Two years you’d been together, in that time you had moved in with each other and began to plan your lives together and now it was over.
“It just isn’t working, between our schedules and arguments that happen when we are together, it’s…c’mon Y/N, you know I’m right.” He had said, you shook your head as you stared at him. You’d been arguing more often as of late but that was because you were both stressed and weren’t managing it properly, not because you stopped caring or because you had fallen out of love with him.
“Listen, I know this is awful but we have a convention in a few days and I think it’s better if we just pretend we’re fine. Dealing with the fans prodding and our friends isn’t what either of us want or need now.” Your eyes widened in disbelief before you let out a choked sob.
“We’re not fine.” You told him coldly after taking a moment to recompose yourself.
“No, but if anyone asks, lie and tell them we are.” He was looking at you with wide, pleading eyes. You scoffed wondering why you should be doing him any favours, act like you weren’t heartbroken around some of your closest friends. They’d only have to take one look at the pair of you and realise something wasn’t right. You still agreed to pretend though, acting was your job, you could get through a few days without breaking down, right?
~ present day ~
People knew something was off but you just smiled and told them everything was fine, just a small argument, nothing to worry about. You’d spent the last two days before the convention torn between crying and getting angry. Right now though you were just sad and broken, hiding your feelings only made that pain worse, especially when you saw him laugh or smile.
“You gonna tell me what’s wrong or have I got to guess?” You were pulled out of your thoughts by Matt Cohen, who sat next to you with a concerned look upon his face. You rolled your eyes at him but a smile appeared on your face, not feeling as fake as the ones you had let out all day.
“What makes you think there’s something wrong?” Avoiding questions is easy when you’re in the spotlight, interviewers asked things you didn’t want to answer and you were able to side step the question and turn it into something you could answer. This technique was something you’d found yourself doing all morning.
“Come on, Y/N/N, just talk to me.” Matt pouted at you causing you to roll your eyes, thankfully though you were saved by your handler informing you that you had a panel starting with Jared, Jensen and Misha. ‘Great,’ you thought with a sigh. You said your goodbyes to Matt, trying to ignore the concern in his features as you walked out of the room.
-
-
-
The panel was the longest that you’d experienced. There was a tension on the stage that everyone could feel, you didn’t have the energy to play pretend. Questions were asked but you found yourself only half paying attention, having to ask fans to repeat a question more than once. You could see Jared look at you but you couldn’t bring yourself to acknowledge him, which to the fans was a dead giveaway that something was wrong because you were always touching and joking around. Thankfully nobody asked about the tension though and once Richard came on to end the panel you were gone.
Finding an empty room during a convention was difficult but you’d managed to, however what you failed to notice was Jared following you. Once you were in the room you cracked, tears fell down your face as you sat on one of the sofas in the room. You tried for days to keep your emotions at bay, tried to do as Jared had asked, tried to play along but you couldn’t.
“Y/N.” You heard the whispered call of your name, your head snapping you to see Jared leaning against the door, a sad look upon his face. The look sparked a bit of anger in you, why should he get to be sad when he ended things with you?
“I’m sorry, Y/N. We fought constantly, you can’t tell me you were actually happy can you? I mean I wanted to be, I really did, but it wasn’t working.” He told you as he came into the room, sitting on a chair opposite you. Tears continued to stream down your face as you refused to look at him.
“I was happy, Jared. Sure we fought but who doesn’t? I was willing to try! Willing to make an effort to find a solution instead of just ending everything! Not only is this hard but I can’t even process it because we’re doing cons and you want us to pretend everything is fine and dandy when it isn’t.” You were tired, you just wanted to go back to the hotel room and hide away from everything for a while.
“What could we have done to find a solution? Breaking up seemed like the only solution, Y/N/N.” Finally you looked at him, his face dropping even more as he saw the tears staining yours. He reached out to grab your hand and you let him, you were mad but God you loved him more than anything. You wouldn’t beg for him to take you back but if there was a chance it could work well then you were taking it.
“There’s therapy out there for couples Jared. We could have talked more, made more time for each other, taken a few days out to just be together and reconnect. There’s so many better ways to deal with problems than just breaking things off.” You saw him register what you had said and after a long silence he spoke.
“Ok. I know I handled things badly but I do still love you, I never stopped. If you still want to be with me, I’m willing to make an effort if you are?” He asked, a small hopeful smile on his face as he looked at you with them damn puppy dog eyes.
“I am, but, it isn’t going to make things better overnight, J. You gotta be in this for the long run.” He nodded at you as he promised he would be.
“Ca-Can I um, can I give you a hug?” He asked, voice just above a whisper. You smiled and nodded, a Jared hug, no matter how mad you were at him, was always the best thing. You knew you had a panel soon but ignored the world outside for a moment whilst you stood in Jared’s arms hoping that maybe everything would be ok.

Jared and Gen adopt the reader and she struggles to accept that they really want her.
-
You’d recently been fostered. That was a miracle in itself considering you were a teenager and nobody, usually, wanted to foster and then adopted them. The couple, Jared and Genevieve Padalecki, had wanted an older kid and decided you would be a welcome fit in their home.
-
-
-
There was another couple visiting today, they were coming in to foster a kid. You sat in your room, knowing you weren’t needed downstairs, you weren’t going to be fostered so what was the point. With that mindset it was a shock when somebody knocked on your open door. Looking up you saw a man, a tall man with long brown hair, leaning against the peeling door frame. You felt like you recognised him from somewhere but couldn’t quite place it.
“Hey um, I’m Jared.” He told you with a smile. His overall presence made you relax but you still raised an eyebrow in confusion.
“Y/N. Why are you up here?”
“Nice to meet you, Y/N. Actually, I-uh, I only came up here to use the bathroom. How come you’re up here? We got told everyone would be downstairs so me and my wife could meet them.” You felt yourself growing more confused, why would he want you down there?
“Yeah, well, trust me after all my times in different homes I’ve learnt that people only want babies and little kids. Once you hit your teenage years you’re pretty much stuck here ‘til you can leave on your own.” You watched him take in the information, a frown playing on his face as he did.
“Actually me and my wife, Gen, we’re here to adopt an older kid. We already have three kids of our own, we’ve got Tom whose 7, Shep whose 5 and Odette whose 2. Gen’s always wanted a big family, me too actually, but we got told we couldn’t have more kids.” The fact he already had a family didn’t surprise you too much, a lot of couples had their own kids, it was the fact he wanted an older kid that shocked you, especially considering all he kids were considerably young.
“Sorry to hear that.” You told him, gaining a small smile, “but I gotta ask, why an older kid? You’re eldest is seven so why’d you want older?”
“Well with my job I travel around a lot. Whilst we have help from family and friends it would add to the stress if we brought another baby or toddler into the mix, it wouldn’t be very fair to them I guess. A teenager would better understand the situation of me not being around as often as Gen is, I guess. Our kids get it, they know what I do but a new addition, well, it would be difficult to adjust especially since most of the kids, older and young, have a complicated history.” You took in what he was saying, it made sense.
“What’s your job then?” You asked, he gave you a questioning look before answering.
“I’m, uh, I’m an actor. Right now I’m on a show called Supernatural.” Never hearing of the show you just shrugged at him, it was cool that he was an actor. You’d probably seen his picture on social media or something.
“So, Y/N, let’s get to know each other.”
-
-
-
It had been a long process of course, everything had to be arranged, you had to spend nights at their house and go on day trips with the couple and their three children. It was nice but as you lay in your new bed you couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed.
You’d been in the care system pretty much your whole life, families had fostered you and given you right back. The disappointment and sadness you’d felt each time faded into nothing, you’d learnt not to care too much, knowing that the only way you were getting out of the system was when you turned the legal age.
However, Gen and Jared were adamant in trying to convince you that you were wanted here, how they wouldn’t bring someone into their family, to meet their children, if they weren’t serious. You liked the Padalecki’s, you really did, and you knew that was the worst thing because when they sent you back, and they would, it would hurt the most.
Eventually you gave up on tossing and turning, instead you grabbed the new phone they’d recently gifted you and checked the time, 02:32 AM. Usually when you couldn’t sleep you went out for a walk, probably not the safest idea for a young girl to be alone at this time of night but it helped clear your mind. When you were at the group home you would usually go to the hill top, it was secluded, hard to find and perfect for just sitting and contemplating everything.
You hadn’t had a chance to explore your new home town in Austin, Texas, before the family had took you in you’d never even been to Texas. Now was as good a time as any to explore though, you thought. Genevieve had showed you the alarm system that they had, luckily you knew the code so you wouldn’t wake anyone up. Getting out of bed you grabbed a bag and threw your notebook, pen, phone and headphones in before throwing a jacket on too.
Sneaking out of the house was easy, hell you had mastered how to do that by the time you were twelve. The neighbourhood you were in was nice, rich but homely you would say. The Padalecki’s home had been a shock to you, considering you only knew apartments, group homes and peeling houses. You looked around and picked a direction before heading down the road, what better way to explore, and if you got lost at least you had your phone.
You’d been walking for a while before you came across a forest, walking even further until you found a lake. It was beautiful and you quickly found some large rocks to sit on. Checking your phone you realised you been walking for way longer than you thought considering it was 3:30 in the morning, that was around an hour since you’d left the house.
Sitting there, you took in the scenery before pulling out your notebook. In it contained a bit of everything, entries of your days, how you were feeling, a few drawings and some songs you’d wrote. You weren’t a song writer by any means but it was helpful, easier to express your emotions. Some were quite good whilst other were scribbled out completely. It was something that you’d read online, some crap about how it would help you deal with your emotions and you guessed, though you’d never admit it, it did help. You grabbed a pen before opening the book to a blank page and began writing.
‘My feet are sore from walking all night long.No direction when there’s no where to go.’
The Padalecki’s keep saying how their house was your home too and whilst they seemed completely sincere about that, you couldn’t let yourself feel like it was your home, like they cared about you.
‘Empty picture frames of times all gone
Lonely echoes of the stories we‘ve told
If you put on my shoes walk a mile or two
‘til your eyes open wider than they used to.’
You bit the end of your pen, willing the tears in your eyes to go away as you closed the book. Turns out writing about this situation was harder than you’d thought it would be. You wanted to let yourself be happy but how could you when nothing ever went your way.

You were being taken to the Ackles house today for a BBQ, the whole family was going and you were going to meet Jensen, Danneel and their kids for the first time. They’d wanted to meet you earlier but Jared said they were letting you get settled in a bit first. You’d heard great things about them from Jared and Gen and if you were being honest you had Googled both families and seen clips of them on YouTube along with people like Misha Collins, Richard Speight Jr and Rob Benedict who all seemed pretty cool too.
You had began, secretly, watching the show and had to admit you really liked it, how you hadn’t watched it before was a mystery to you considering it was in the realm of shows you liked.
Before you knew it you were being pulled into a hug by Danneel, she squeezed you tightly and you froze for a moment. You had never really been affectionate with people, another side effect of being in the system for so long, you either became touch starved or just got used to not being held. A small paused passed before you wrapped your arms around her too, it was awkward but nice. You were greeted the same way by Jensen too, a warm hug and a tight squeeze, again it was awkward but you quite liked it. You met the twins who were adorable as was their eldest, JJ.
For most of the afternoon you drifted towards Danneel, who seemed more than happy to let you sit with her and get to know you. She asked you about your life growing up, you asked her about her family, living here in Texas, she asked you about the states you’d been to. Danneel even invited you to join her and Genevieve to get your nails done sometime when the boys were away, you tried to decline, not wanting to intrude on her day with Gen but she insisted, as did Gen when she found out.
When Danneel went to check the twins Jensen came and occupied the seat his wife had just left.
“How you doing?” He asked, looking at you with a soft smile and concern in his eyes. You nodded a few times before speaking.
“I’m OK.” You told him, only for him to raise his brow at you, “seriously I’m OK. I mean sure it’s a bit overwhelming at times but still that’s to be expected.”
“You know,” Jensen started, wrapping an arm around your shoulders as he did, “they spent a year doing them courses to be able to foster and adopt, they spent just about the same amount of time trying to find someone they really liked. I know them and, trust me, they don’t ever wanna give you back. They want you to be a part of their family. I know it’s overwhelming but give it time and you’ll see there’s nothing to be worried about.”

You laughed as Jared stuffed the remains of his burger into his mouth causing him to grin at you. Rolling your eyes, you pressed the napkin into his hand and made him wipe his face. Jared and Jensen were leaving soon, heading to Vancouver to film for their show, which you had finished watching and wanted to know what happened next.
Life had been pretty good. Sometimes you still got overwhelmed, sometimes you had moments when you were sure they were going to make you go back to the group home, back into the system, but they were always there to reassure you that you were stuck with them.
Jared had decided that he would take you out for the day, just you and him. You’d felt guilty at first, not wanting him to miss out on spending time with his family before he left but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. As you sat opposite him in a cute little diner, you were glad you’d gone out with him.
“You know,” You began as you laughter faded, tone full of amusement still, “I finished watching your show.” You watched as his eyes lit up, could see the pride and passion he had for the show even after all the years he’d spent on it.
“You did? I didn’t even know you’d started watching it! Did you like it?”
“I thought I’d watch it considering it’s such a huge part of yours and Jensen’s life. You know, I actually really enjoyed it. Gotta say though, think Dean’s my favourite.” You laughed loudly at his overly dramatic reaction before continuing. “OK maybe not Dean, maybe, oh I don’t know…Gabriel?”
“Now listen here you, Sam Winchester is the best! If he’s not your favourite then I don’t think you watched the right show.”
Today Jared had taken out to the arcades that weren’t too far a drive from where you guys lived. You’d both spent hours trying to beat each other before deciding to call it a draw, though for the record you totally beat him. There was also a crazy golf course that he’d taken you to, which you didn’t beat him at but still had fun joking around with him.
Both Jared and Genevieve took you out individually to get to know you one on one. Like recently you and Gen had gone hiking once she found out you loved nature and the scenic views, you hadn’t told them of your spot near the lake, you liked the privacy it offered you and you still snuck out to write or just be alone. As well as that she had taken you to the spa, Danneel also came along, and you all got spa treatments and your nails done.
You had also gone out with the kids, you’d took the boys to see the newest films they wanted to see and took Odette and the boys to the park, sometimes joined by both Jared and Gen. All together you had gone to the zoo, farms, the arcades, ice skating and more. It was nice to see the family do so much together, a bit strange for you at first considering you’d never had anything like this but now you looked forward to making more memories.
Jensen had become a large part in your life. He was there when you needed to talk about them overwhelming feelings that you didn’t want to burden Gen and Jared with. You knew they wouldn’t mind and wouldn’t take it as a personal attack on them but for some reason it was easier with Jensen. He took you out to get food as you talked over everything that was bothering you. You also hung out with him when there was nothing wrong, just a few days back you and Jensen had taken JJ out whilst Danneel had the twins.
Having Jared and Jensen leave for Vancouver would be strange. You’d gotten so used to them being around, become dependent on them in a way you hadn’t been with anyone ever, that it was a bit daunting.
The fans knew about you, between the two families there were a lot of pictures featuring you on their Instagram’s. They had asked you before hand obviously, not wanting to evade your privacy if you weren’t comfortable with it but you were.
Jared and you kept joking around whilst you ate your desserts. You were still scared but you felt more comfortable now.

You’d been with Genevieve and Jared for about two years now. You loved them and the kids so much, they were your family. You’d finally accepted it and for the first time in years you were happy, you had parental figures who loved you, aunts and uncles who you adored and siblings, nieces and nephews who were your world.
Jared was home for a few days before he was flying off to another convention, this one you had been invited too. Genevieve was coming too, her parents offering to watch the kids so she could. In the time you had been with Gen and Jared, you’d been to the set of Supernatural and meet a lot of the cast including, Misha, Alexander, Richard, Ruth, Mark (Sheppard and Pellegrino) and Rob plus a few more.
You’d become close to them all. You took an extra liking to Rob Benedict, feeling comfortable around him since you met him. Something about him calmed you down completely even though he himself was a ball of nervous energy, though you’d seen him on stage, only in videos, and could hardly believe it was the same man. Rob had took you to explore Vancouver, taking you on hikes and for dinner. You shared a lot with Rob and ended up telling him that you liked to write songs yourself, he had been persistent that you show him something and it had taken weeks before you showed him the song you’d been working on since you moved into your home.
“You have to perform this at the convention!” Rob had told you, he was grinning brightly as he looked from the book to you.
Your cheeks flushed as you replied, “I- I can’t perform that! It’s, well I, seriously I can’t!”
“You can, Y/N. They’ll both be there and they’ll love it. I promise, I wouldn’t suggest it if I didn’t think it’d turn out good for you. At least think about it.”
And you had. You had thought about it. Rob said you could perform it during the concert he put on, knowing Jared and Gen, plus the rest of the Supernatural cast, would be there. You had politely declined each time.
You sat at the airport in the early hours of the morning, eyes drooping closed as you felt the tiredness weighing down on you. Why you had to take such an early flight you’d never know but here you were. Your eyes stayed closed but you jolted slightly as an arm wrapped around your shoulders and pulled you against a warm body, Jared your mind supplied. You smiled as you cuddled closer to him, feeling him press a kiss against your forehead before continuing his conversation with Jensen and Gen a bit more quietly.
You didn’t sleep, just rested your eyes until Jared shook you and told you the plane was ready. Before you had to switch your phone off you wrote a text, hesitating to send it. You looked up at Jared, who still had an arm around you, then to Gen who smiled softly at you, you quickly returned it before clicking send on the text.
‘I’ll do it.’

You’d finally arrived at your hotel and having slept on the plane you know felt wide awake as you walked in ahead of Gen, Jensen and Jared. You were instantly greeted by Rob Benedict who walked up to you with a smug grin on his face causing you to roll your eyes as you stepped into his arms.
“Knew you’d do it.” He whispered, amusement clear in his tone.
“Shut up.” You laughed as you pushed him away, causing him to do the same.
After everyone had their bags put away they decided that they were going out for a few drinks. You were welcomed by everyone but decided you’d stay in the hotel room and just relax for a bit, as well as going over the song Rob was making you perform.
“We can stay in with you if you want?” Gen asked but you just shook your head.
“Go out and have fun. I’ll be fine, honestly I’m just gonna put Netflix on and go to bed.” After convincing Gen, then Jared, that you’d be ok they left and you were alone.
You sat on the bed with the notebook in your lap. Tomorrow you’d perform one of the most personal songs you had ever written in front of a crowd of strangers as well as your friends and family. To say you were terrified would be an understatement but Rob had promised you that he’d be with you the entire time and so would the guys from the band who you’d met and got along with great. It help ease your nerves a bit.
‘My feet are sore from walking all night long
No direction when there’s nowhere to go
Empty picture frames of times all gone
Lonely echoes of the stories we’ve told
If you put on my shoes walk a mile or two‘til your eyes open wider than they used to
Then I will meet you there where the air is clear
Pinky swear I’ll meet you there.’

The day was here. You had woken up feeling sick, Gen and Jared fussed over you. You stayed in the room as Jared went to do his meet and greets and panels and whilst Gen went with him she came back to the hotel room to check on you throughout the day.
Rob had been texting with you in an attempt to calm you down, it had worked and by time everyone was getting ready for the concert you were feeling more like yourself. Gen and Jared fussed but you assured them you were feeling better and they let you come.
Now you stood to the side with Jared, Gen and Matt Cohen, who you’d only met today but absolutely adored. Matt had an arm around you as you all watched Jensen and Rob sing on stage together. Once they’d finished Rob began to speak.
“So many of you are going to know my next guest but some may not. She’s never performed in front of anyone so give her your full support. She wrote this song herself and she’s a bit nervous. Everyone please welcome Y/F/N Y/L/N!” Jared and Gen turned to look at you in surprise but you didn’t look at them. You felt Matt give your shoulders a squeeze before he gently pushed you forward. The crowd cheered as Rob took your hand in his and handed you the mic.
“You’ll be fine. I’m right here. Don’t look at them if you don’t want to.” You nodded as you looked at him. Rob gestured for the band to start playing.
“My feet are sore from walking all night long
No direction when there’s nowhere to go
Empty picture frames of times all gone
Lonely echoes of the stories we‘ve told
If you put on my shoes walk a mile or two‘til your eyes open wider than they used to
Then I will meet you there where the air is clear
Pinky swear I’ll meet you there
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
And I’ll stay, today until forever
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
My eyes are open wider today until forever
I’ll stay with you
Familiar faces as we chase the moon
Fall in love and I’ll come crying to you
Through the changes and the Earth’s bad moods
I’ll lay my troubled bones on you
If you put on my shoes walk a mile or two
‘til your eyes open wider than they used to
Then I will meet you there where the air is clear
Pinky swear I’ll meet you there
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
And I’ll stay, today until forever
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
My eyes are open wider today until forever
I’ll stay with you
(Ah, ah aaah, aaaah)
I’ll stay with you
(Ah, ah aaah, aaaah)
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
And I’ll stay, today until forever
And I’ll stay, with you I see new colors
My eyes are open wider today until forever
(Ah, ah aaah, aaaah)
I’ll stay with you
(Ah, ah aaah, aaaah)
Oooh woah woah woah
My eyes are open wider
Tonight
When I’m a hundred two , and I can’t sing to you
Close your eyes, memorize how I used to”
Your eyes had closed as you sung but you opened them once you heard the cheering from the Supernatural fans, letting out a huge sigh of relief. The meaning of the song was obvious to anyone who knew the circumstances, you’d finally finished it when you’d accepted that Gen and Jared were going to keep you, when you realised they love you and you loved them, when you recognised that you were their family and they were yours. To you the song was perfect for expressing that to them because finding the words had been hard.
You thanked everyone and Rob pulled you in for a hug before you left the stage. Gen had tears falling down her face, Jared was no better. Your own eyes filled with tears at the sight but before you could say anything Jared pulled you against him into a tight hug, bringing Gen in as he did. The three of you stayed there for a long while, just holding each other as a family.
“You know we were gonna ask if we could adopt you officially but we weren’t sure how you felt.” Jared told you with a wet chuckle, “but now I think it’s safe to say that you’ll allow us to adopt you?” He asked causing you to look up at him, even more tears streaming down your face at the news.
“Yes, yes, I’m totally ok with you guys adopting me. God, I love you guys so much!” You told them. You felt Gen rub her hand up and down your back as Jared kissed your head.
“We love you too, Y/F/N Padalecki.”

Prompts - Iron - ‘We work together on this movie/show but we broke up and now our characters are romantically involved.’ & Auburn - we’re both heading home for the holidays but our plane ends up snowed in at the airport. You have soft blankets and i have snacks, and in the end it doesn’t turn out so bad. & Primrose - “But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.”
A/N - I literally write Rob Benedict or Matt Cohen as the readers best friend in all my SPN real people fics so, sorry! Trinity is your character’s name on the show.
Working with someone you were dating had its ups and downs. You had never tried to keep this information a secret, you’d spoken about it honestly when prompted at panels and interviews. Sometimes being around your girlfriend, Ruth Connell, all day and night was great, you savoured the moments you spent with her. At the same time though it was hard, sometimes you had arguments and then you had to work with each other like nothing was wrong, other times it was just a bit overwhelming to spend near on 24 hours a day with somebody.
You had problems, every couple did, you tried to keep it real both publicly and privately. That’s why you were a bit lost at the moment. The Supernatural cast were all together at a convention, Ruth, you, Jared, Jensen, Richard, Rob, Mark (Pellegrino & Sheppard), Matt and a few others out of the main cast.
You where sat on the bed of the hotel room that you and Ruth were sharing. Tears welled in your eyes but you absolutely refused to let them fall. Ruth stood across from you, leaning back against the dressing table, looking just as good as you felt.
Ruth had continued an argument you two had been having before catching a plane out here together, about how you two were drifting apart and then she said the words, the words that made your heart clench and your eyes water. ‘Are we even working together anymore? I mean, would it be easier if we broke up?’
And now here you were. Begging yourself not to cry as you climbed off the bed and over to your suitcases, thankfully you hadn’t had a chance to unpack.
“Y/N, where’re you going?” She asked as you went to leave, before you turned to look at her you squeezed your eyes shut. Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry.
“I’m not staying in here Ruth. You want to break up, that’s ok, I won’t force you to stay with me but please give me space because I can’t-” You cut yourself off with a sob and saw Ruth move towards you. You shook your head and left the room, feeling like the walls were closing in on you.
Sure your relationships had its ups and downs but you never ever wanted it to end. You loved Ruth, still do, madly. You dreaded the thought of going into work after the convention, your characters would begin to date on the show, how difficult was that going to be?
Once you got a safe enough distance away from your old room you broke, tears fell down your face and sobs escaped even as you tried to muffle them. You had no idea what to do, it was a convention and everyone was staying in the same hotel, though some had to stay in another one due to this one being full. You’d never get a room.
“Wow, Y/N! What’s wrong?” You couldn’t speak but gladly welcomed the arms that wrapped around you tightly, letting your cry your eyes out into their shoulder. Rob your mind supplied as you cried. God, this was so embarrassing.
He gently eased you out of the hug some minutes later, not wanting you to be in the corridor were anyone could see you. Rob looked at the suitcases by your side and his eyebrows knitted together in both confusion and concern. The safest thing to do was to bring you to his room until he knew what was wrong.
“Come on, let’s go.” He said softly, grabbing the suitcases for you and leading you back to his room.
He sat you on the bed and shot a text to Richard telling him he wasn’t go to make lunch and he sat with you. He pulled you back into a hug and let you just sit and cry.
It was about ten minutes later when you had calmed down enough to talk. You pulled back from him, letting him wipe the mix of tears, massacre and foundation from your face as you did. God, he must think you’re such as mess right now.
“Sorry.” You managed to whisper causing him to look at you like you’d grown two heads.
“What are you sorry for? Y/N/N, you know you can talk to me, right? What happened?”
Wiping your own face, you took a deep breath and told Rob everything. The increase in arguments, the distance that had grown between you even though you were always together, the anger, the pain, the stress. Everything. To Rob’s credit he sat there whilst you vented, whilst you got angry then sad, and listened to every word.
“You know,” he began, “it’s not healthy for a couple to be around each other for that amount of time. It’s normal that you’re both getting frustrated because well, I guess, you’re so focused on trying not to, uh, not to ignore each other that you put too much pressure on spending time with each other.”
You took in what he said and you agreed whole heartedly, it wasn’t right and you were getting stressed out because of it.
“I know but, ugh, I got this job before I started dating Ruth, you know? It would have been different if we had been dating before but we weren’t. And Rob, this job, it’s my dream job! I can’t give that up. I love her but God, tell me what to do.” You said with a pout, causing him to laugh.
“Ok, ok, you wanna know what to do?” He asked, a slight grin playing on his face. You’d been friends with Rob since the first day you started on Supernatural, he was one of your best friends and you trusted him a hell of a lot.
“Yes, tell me!”
“You come out with me, Rich and Matt tonight. You have a good time and you do your panels and photo ops like you normally would. You have a good time at this con and then we’ll figure something out before filming, yeah?” You thought about it. It didn’t seem like the most responsible, mature, response to your problems but it sure sounded good. Who could blame you if you just took one night to yourself, one night to focus on you before over thinking and stressing about everything? Besides, you’d asked Rob what to do, it’d be rude not to listen,
“Let’s do it.”

You had freshened up your makeup and put on one of your outfits that you’d packed before heading downstairs, arms locked with Rob.
You hadn’t actually seen anyone apart from Ruth and Rob, focusing mainly on checking in and throwing your suitcases in the room before doing so. Clearly there was a change in events but once the elevator opened and you saw people you knew dotted around you relaxed, a genuine smile making its way onto your face. You looked to your left when you heard a whistle.
“Look at you, gorgeous.” You grinned when you saw Rich leaning against the wall near the elevator and made your way over to him, greeting him with a hug and a kiss of the cheek.
“Not looking so bad yourself, Mr Speight.” You told him causing him to laugh and throw an arm over your shoulder. You knew Rob had told Rich and Matt what had happened but you were relieved when Rich didn’t mention anything.
“Wow, where’s my hug?” You rolled your eyes but stepped out of Richard’s hold to wrap your arms around Matt. He gave you a tight squeeze as he kissed your temple causing a lump to build in your throat, ignoring it the best you could, you pulled back and smiled at him.
The four of you headed out of the hotel you were staying at and headed to one of the many bars nearby. Matt offered to buy the first round and before you knew it the first round was gone and many later there was a new set of shots being placed before you. You threw each of them back before grinning at Richard.

You woke the next morning with a groan, eyebrows knitting together when you heard someone laugh and somebody else shush them. You slowly peeled your eyes open, screwing them shut again at the light, before opening them again and seeing Richard and Rob on the bed with you. Rich looked as good as you felt whereas Rob looked fine. You shot a glare at him before sitting up.
“Morning sunshine, ready for your panels this afternoon?” Rob laughed causing you to groan. You, Ruth, Kim and Briana had a group panel later on this afternoon and the thought of it made you feel worse than the hangover. There was no way you were cancelling though, you knew the fans spent so much money to be here and you wouldn’t ever disappoint them like that.
“God, Robbie do my panel for me.” You pleaded as you leaned against Rich’s shoulder, his head falling on yours.
“I would if I could.” He told you and you groaned. This was going to be the longest panel of your life but you had to do it, just grin and bear it. What could go wrong?

“So, Y/N, your character Trinity and Rowena are finally getting together this season, something the fans have been wanting since you were introduced to each other. I was just wondering what that means for your real life relationship and how do you feel that the writers added that relationship in?”
Everything. That’s what could go wrong.
You’d taken a shower and some headache tablets, finding the hang over wasn’t actually that bad once you’d freshened up and ate. You’d gotten ready and walked over to the convention centre with Rob, Rich and Matt who had their own panels.
You’d greeted Kim and Briana with hugs but then stopped when you saw Ruth, you felt like you needed to be professional but it really hurt. Kim and Briana noticed the tension but thankfully said nothing, whether Ruth had told them or not you had no idea.
You always felt you were quite honest. You let the public in on such a huge part of your life, tried not to have too many secrets for people to exploit but now, after listening to, what was it, Sasha’s question you had no idea what to do. You couldn’t say your relationship was great because that was bull and you had no idea what you relationship was anymore. Sure you broke up but what more than that. Could you ever be friends with the women you love?
“Good question. You know I think it’s amazing that girls have these two very strong-minded women to look up to and see that yes they’re lesbian and bisexual but that doesn’t have to define you or hold you back. I like how the writers don’t base a character of their sexuality, meaning that like even with Charlie, you know, the way she was announced as lesbian was so chill and not her defining quality. I think it’s going to be important for people to have these characters to look up to and aspire to be like.” You said honestly, that part of the question was great, loved it, it was just the other half. You paused whilst everyone cheered, including your costars on the stage.
“When it comes to mine and Ruth’s relationship, honestly, I can’t answer it because we haven’t had a chance to explore Trinity and Rowena yet. Either it will be just like filming is now or it could have some affect. I really don’t know the answer to that yet.” People cheered once you answered and you let out a sigh of relief, smiling at Kim as she wrapped an arm around your shoulder and squeezed. Ok then, they definitely knew. You couldn’t be mad though, after all you’d told Rob and given permission for him to tell Rich and Matt.

Thankfully the rest of your panels for the weekend pasted fairly quickly and without incident. Now you were all headed to the airport together, most of you heading to Vancouver but some like Matt, Kim and Briana were heading home.
The thought of filming was filling you with dread but still you knew you had to act professional. So many people looked up to your character, and to you, and you knew you had to prevail. This was your job, there was no time to get caught up in personal drama. You knew when you began dating Ruth that there was always that chance you two could break up and you’d just had to deal with it.
Sighing to yourself you got out of the car, picked your suitcases up and checked in, saying your goodbyes to Matt who headed towards a different terminal. You sat with Rob and Richard, squeezing Richard’s hand to try to soothe some of the anxiety he was feeling over flying.
You looked over and saw Ruth was sat with Jared, Jensen and Misha. You couldn’t help but frown. You’d asked for space and she’d given it to you so why were you feeling so, so, God you couldn’t even explain what you were feeling. That was frustrating, everything about this situation was frustrating.
Taking your hand out of Richard’s you stood up and grabbed your bag.
“Where you going?” Rob asked quietly, giving you a smile as he did. You smiled back before answering.
“The plane doesn’t get her for another hour and a half, two hours. I’m just gonna go stretch my legs.” He nodded at you before turning back to Rich.
You chanced one more glance at Ruth, who was watching you with sad eyes before she turned back to Jared who was saying something to the group.
With a frown you walked away from your costars and friends before heading to one of the coffee shops that were in the airport and ordering a hot drink to fight the slight chill you felt in the winter weather.
You couldn’t even get a chance to come to terms with everything. You were aware you were constantly in the spotlight, whether it was paps or fans, someone had a camera and if you broke down in a Costa coffee shop it would definitely be front page on Twitter’s news section.
Two weeks of filming, that was it until you wrapped for Christmas and then you were back at it again for another six months, so the new season was ready for next October. God, two more weeks until you were alone. You hadn’t even thought about where you were staying, currently you and Ruth had a cute place in California that you stayed at when you weren’t in the UK, Canada or another state filming.
“This is such a mess.” You mumbled to yourself.
You looked up when you heard a delicate voice saying your name hesitantly.
“May I sit with you?” Ruth stood with her own hot cup of tea, looking at you with hopeful eyes. You figured you’d have to talk to her before you started filming and this was as good a time as any.
You nodded and gestured to the seat in front of you which she took.
“Look, Y/N, what I said-” You cut her off.
“You were right. It wasn’t working, Ruth, but now we’ve got a job to do and people depending on us.”
“I know but we can get past this right? At least speak to each other when we’re in the same room without a script? This is the longest we’ve gone without talking to each other, dear.”
“Maybe one day but it hurts too much now.”

Filming was back in full swing, today you were filming episode three. You were shooting five scenes today, four of them involve you and Ruth. One scene was you two sort of coming out to Sam and Dean but not really. There was no official coming out but it was obvious you two were dating, you and Jensen would have a scene together later were you’d talk about it whilst researching. You loved how coming out for your characters on the show was done so naturally, no need to explicitly come out and everyone was accepting.
Thankfully, Richard Speight was directing the episode and you felt a bit more at ease.
“Y/N, to set.” You headed over, hugging Rich when you saw him and got into position.
“Ready. Episode 3, Scene 6, take 1 and action.”
Trinity walked into the room, coming to a halt when she saw Rowena stood behind the table with a book and some ingredients in front of her. You turned to Sam with a raised eyebrow.
“She agreed to help us find a way with the book.” You shrugged your shoulders at him before making you way over to Rowena. You stopped before her and she paused in her chopping, looking over at you.
“Hey.” You grinned at her before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to her lips. God this felt right, you couldn’t help but think. It brought tears to your eyes as you felt that constant feeling of hurt stab through you. Pulling away from the kiss, the grin still plastered on your face, Rowena reached over and brushed some hair out of your face.
“Hey yourself.” She greeted before turning back to her work.
“Mind giving me a hand, dearie? Grind those for me.” She gestured over to the mortar and pestle that had some ingredients in it. You reached for it with a shaky hand that you hoped the camera didn’t pick up and got to work. You knew this was going to be hard, you thought as the others around you spoke their lines, but not this hard.
You somehow managed to get scene 6 done in only a few takes before they were ready for you on the other set stage. This was your scene with Jensen, or Dean.
“So,” he began, a smirk settling on his face, “you and Rowena, huh?” You grinned at Dean whilst simultaneously rolling your eyes.
“Shut up.” You warned.
“No, no, I gotta ask. Gotta make sure my girls not gonna get hurt.”
You let out a laugh, it should have been humorous but it came out more like a choked sob.
You clenched your eyes together before hearing Rich call cut.
“Sorry.” You choked out before Jensen wrapped his arms around you.
“S’alright, nothing to be sorry about. Let’s take a quick pause, yeah?” You nodded against his chest feeling stupid, you were the one banging on about getting your job done yet here you were crying on set whilst shooting a scene.
Richard came over and handed you some water, holding your shoulder as he did. You thanked him and gulped it down before taking a deep breath. You were aware Ruth was on set, could see her looking at you if you looked to the side hard enough.
“Sorry, I’m ok.” Jensen and Rich both looked like they doubted you but got back into place.
“Take it from your line for me Jens.” Richard said.
“Episode 3, Scene 8, take 2 and action.”
“No, no, I gotta ask. Gotta make sure my girls not gonna get hurt.” Dean repeated and you let out the laugh you were supposed to.
“First of all, not your girl,” You said with a fake glare, causing him to laugh. “Second of all, she’s not gonna hurt me and if she does, trust me I can handle it myself.”
“Yeah, I know you can. Doesn’t mean I gotta like it though. My girls growing up on me, dating 300 year old witches. What is it with this family and Supernatural creatures, I mean Sam and Ruby, you had the hots for Lucifer-”
“I did not!” You denied, rolling your eyes at him.
“Yeah, sure, ok, let’s go with that.” He laughed. “You happy with her?” Here you got choked up but recovered swiftly.
“You know what Dean, I am, I really am. Never thought I’d get to experience what I’m feeling in this life but with Rowena, it’s, it’s, God Dean I can’t describe it but I think I could really love her one day.” You painted a love-sick grin on your face, letting it fade slightly once Jensen drew you in for a hug.
“If you’re happy then I’m happy, kiddo.”
“And cut. Beautiful guys, beautiful.”

That was the longest two weeks of your life. You’d had to kiss Ruth more times than you could count and it hurt more and more each time, like a knife twisted each time you kissed. Your friends were supportive and you were so thankful for them.
You were even more thankful that the two weeks was up and you were finally heading back to California. It had started snowing in Vancouver and you wanted to get out before the snow storm hit.
Your flight was the same one Ruth was taking. Considering you were going the same place it made sense but still you felt sad. The anger had faded and now you were just sad. This was also the first time in a long time you had nobody to go back to when you finished filming and it sucked.

You often told yourself you could get through things life threw at you. Always asked yourself ‘what could possibly go wrong?’ and then guess what happened, everything went bloody wrong.
Take now for example, filming was shaky at best but now you were heading home. What could possibly go wrong? Right. Everything. Everything could go wrong.
The snow storm had hit and now you were snowed in at the airport. Literally no way home and you weren’t dressed for the winter chill that could be felt from within the airport, no you had a thin pair of sweats, a t-shirt and light jacket on because you thought you’d be stepping off the plane to be greeted by California’s weather. Nope.
You’d been at the airport an hour when you couldn’t take the cold anymore. You had stood up and started pacing after an announcement had been made that it looked like everyone was stuck here at least overnight and tomorrow. The snow was heavy enough to lock you in the airport, that’s the last time I ask myself what could possibly go wrong.
Ruth looked at you with sad eyes. She knew you hated the cold. Winter mornings were some of her favourite moments with you, when you pouted at her to stay in bed with you and you’d cuddle up together underneath a thick duvet and a mountain of soft blankets on top of you. Some morning TV playing quietly as you warmed up, gently, lazy kisses shared as you spoke about everything and nothing at the same time. Why had she let you go?
“Y/N.” Ruth’s voice made you look up. You saw her pull out some blankets from her overnight bag she packed, a bag filled with things that would be useful in case of an emergency such as this. You always told her she’d never need it, you’d never been so glad to be wrong.
“Come here.” You obeyed her and sat next to her, grimacing slightly as you sat on the floor but sighed happily as two blankets were place over you. She frowned as you shivered and ended up taking her coat off and making you wear if, even though you protested, though truth be told they were half-hearted at best and she could see that. It made her grin.
“I have snacks.” You told her, pulling your own bag close and pulling out some of your favourite snacks. You gave her a bag and got one for yourself.
“You know, if you had let me finish that day in Costa, I would have told you that I didn’t actually want to break up. Blimey, I love you dear. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve love you but with work and everything it’s just been one stressful day after another and I guess it snowballed into something bigger.”
You turned to looked at her and she couldn’t help but smile at the sight of your red nose and the pink blanket that was pulled tight and tucked under your chin.
“You really didn’t want to break up with me?” God you sounded like a twelve-year-old with her first boyfriend or something.
“Of course not, look at ya. I’d be a fool to let you go.”
“I tried to hate you,” You said honestly, watching her face fall, “I did. I thought it’d be easier to deal with but mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.” Her face lit up as she laughed softly.
“I’m sorry, dearie, for even suggesting we break up. You think we could still be together? We communicate more, tell the other when they need space and just try to make things a bit better.” You thought about it, there was nothing to think about though. You loved this women and couldn’t picture yourself with anyone else.
“Yeah,” you said with a grin, “I think we can make it work.” She rolled her eyes at you, smiling just as widely at you as you were her. Without thinking about it you leaned forward, kissing her softly and savouring every second of it. Kissing her as Rowena had been agony but now it was pure bliss.
When you pulled away, you both just stared at each other, smiling like two love-sick puppies.
“Ok now that we’re back together, will you please cuddle me? I’m freezing!” You exclaimed causing her to laugh but do as you said, placing a kiss to your head as she did.
Things were far from perfect, there was no denying that, but with a little work and communication what could possibly go wrong?

Request - Anon ~ Hey can I have Misha & reader ((platonic not romantic)) where they meet at like an airport or smth because of West with the prompt violet? Thank you, love your work. X
Prompts - Violet - ‘Your kid keeps running over here and stealing food off my plate when you’re not looking and I don’t know how to make it stop’
Airports were the worst you’d decided. Trying to fly back to Washington was proving to be more difficult than anyone would have guessed, you could walk to Washington quicker than this.
You’d been at the airport for hours the day before only for them to tell you that your flight was cancelled due to something being wrong with the plane, great. Thankfully they put you up in a hotel but you had to queue for hours just to get your voucher for the hotel and ugh it was proving to be a very stressful two days.
They had told you your plane would be ready at 6 AM, so you woke up bright and early and headed to the airport again. Was your plane ready at 6 AM? No, no it wasn’t and it wouldn’t be ready until 5 PM later that day. This was just great.
Thankfully you didn’t have anything you needed to be home for other than the comfort of your own house and bed but still it was getting to be a bit of a joke at this point.
You realised just how hungry you were at around 4 PM, you still had an hour until your flight. Sighing you stood up from the uncomfortable chair you were in and made your way over to one of the restaurants they had in the airport. You quickly ordered your food before taking a seat in the courtyard like area in the middle of the stores.
Before you had a chance to take a bite of your food, you saw a small hand reach over and grab one of the fries that lay on your plate. You followed the hand and watched as a kid shoved it in his mouth before running over to a table that was two away from yours. The kid was looking at you with a smile causing you to raise your eyebrow before shaking your head and turning to your food.
You’d ate three or so bites before the small hand was back.
It’s not like you could say anything to the kid, I mean you probably could but then you risk getting in trouble with the parents whilst also looking like a bit of an arse.
He took two fries from your plate before scurrying back to his table.
This happened five more times before the kids dad finally noticed that his son had a handful of fries, your fries, in his hand and was stood there happily eating them to his heart’s content.
“Hey buddy,” you heard the man say, pulling the child on to his lap. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched the kid try to feed his dad one of the fries. “No thank you, where are you getting them from Westy?”
Westy, now why did that sound familiar? Before you could think on it, the kid raised an empty hand and pointed over to you and- Oh my God was that Misha Collins?
Fuck, you were so glad you hadn’t told his kid off.
Misha looked at you and you spoke before he had a chance to.
“Your kid keeps running over here and stealing food off my plate when you’re not looking and I don’t know how to make it stop.” You couldn’t help but smile back at him when he gave you an apologetic smile.
“West, you know you can’t do that. Apologise to the nice lady please.”
“No, really, it’s fine. No harm done.” Misha didn’t say anything, just looked at West who was smiling innocently.
“Sorry for stealing your fries, Miss.” You couldn’t help but melt at the cuteness.
“It’s alright, like I said no harm done.” He smiled before turning to bury his face in Misha’s chest, sure the kid was shy now but when he wanted some of your food it was a different story.
“Sorry about that, he’s got to that age were he’s curious about everything. I’m Misha, by the way, this is my son West.” How did you play this? It could weird him out if you said you knew who he was but at the same time you really didn’t want to let this moment pass you by.
“Again, it’s really fine and, uh, I know. I’m kinda a fan of Supernatural actually.” You tried to fight the blush of embarrassment that made its way onto your face. He grinned excitedly at you though and turned more to talk to you.
“Oh really? Hi, it’s so nice to meet you! What’s your name?” You told him your name and he asked where you were going, turns out you were both heading to Washington only he hadn’t been stuck here for as long as you had. You had expected Misha to be down to Earth but you really hadn’t expected him to be this nice.
When they finally announced that your plane was ready to board, you, Misha and West all headed to the terminal you were taking off from.
Once you were there, Misha leaned over and gave you a hug that you practically melted in to before saying his goodbyes.
The goodbyes weren’t necessary, however, when you boarded the plane, as you ended up being sat next to West, Misha taking the window seat and you being at the end of the middle row.
Maybe airport delays weren’t the worst thing in the world.
I know my value, anyone else's opinion doesn't really matter

Warnings - Self harm, suicide attempt, self hate, depression
Requested - anon ~ I know there is a load of prompts in here but I was wondering if you could do Jensen & daughter reader w/ Jared & niece reader. Basically the fandom is sending Jensen’s daughter a lot of hate about whatever you want and she ends up self harming and one day she just decides she’s done and cuts herself too deeply, but then Jared calls her and she talks to him whilst she’s dying or smth. Then in the hospital Danneel’s with her until Jared and Jensen come from vancouver. Happy ending.
Reader saying 12 and 32 to Jared whilst she’s bleeding out or smth. Then reader saying can we stay like this for a little while?”’ to Jensen “you’re not a burden” to the reader. Can I request Danneel & reader as well. IDK if I can request my own prompts so if not then they don’t really matter but I’d appreciate it. Sorry I sent so many asks it wouldn’t let me fit it in one box:/xxxx
Jensen’s daughter, Y/N Ackles, is receiving a lot of hate messages on social media that over time cause her to become depressed. What happens when she’s pushed over the edge?
It was an odd feeling to feel like you were a stranger in your own home, to feel like you didn’t really fit in. It was nobody’s fault, nobody in the house treated you any differently to how they treated each other but you couldn’t help but feel like a burden.
Your dad was around as much as he could be with his job, you knew how much he loved being an actor, going to the conventions and whatnot. Danneel treated you just how she treated her own biological children, sure she spent more time with them but that was only natural considering they were so much younger than you. The kids obviously didn’t see you as anything other than big sister Y/N.
It wasn’t any of them that made you feel like you weren’t properly apart of the family, no it was the constant stream of hate messages you received on the daily. People telling you that your dad, Jensen, didn’t love you and that you were a burden on his perfect family with Danneel and the kids. It was the messages that told you that you were worth nothing and that your family wouldn’t miss you if you were gone.
It was just strangers online but it affected you in such a serious way. You were able to block it out to begin with but over recent years it had really affected your confidence and the way viewed yourself. You started thinking that maybe all those people were right, maybe you weren’t good enough, maybe your dad would be better without you.
Over time you had started to become more withdrawn, hiding away in your bedroom and distancing yourself from your friends and family. Slowly at first but eventually Danneel began to worry and she called Jensen one night.
“Have you spoken to Y/N recently?” She had asked him once the younger kids had gone to bed and she had the privacy to talk seriously.
“Um, yeah I spoke to her this morning for a bit. She didn’t seem too chatty though.” Jensen’s response only made Danneel worry more for you and she decided, after discussing it with Jensen, that it’d be best to try and talk to you and involve you in things.

-
Most nights were spent in your room, Twitter open on your phone with a new stream of mentions telling you how you weren’t good enough. You knew looking at the messages would only hurt you more but for some reason you couldn’t not look.
Some time not too long ago you had taken to hurting yourself. It made you feel a bit better, like you were finally getting what you deserved for being such a burden on your dad and his family. At first you’d cried as you cut yourself but eventually it was like a comfort, you craved it and with every new hate message the cuts got deeper and the what if’s left your mind.
You grabbed one of the blades you had hidden away and pulled your pants down, it was too risky to do it on your arms. You let the blade sit in your hands, moving it from palm to palm as you took in some of the messages, these people hadn’t met you and they knew you didn’t deserve to live. Why would you? You were a burden to Jensen and Danneel. Strangers knew it, you knew it, Jensen and Danneel probably thought it.
With that you guided the blade over to your thigh, pressed deeply and cut at the flesh. It hurt, of course it hurt, but it eased the mental pain just a little so it was worth it. It was less than you deserved but it’d have to do.

It had been a few months and little had changed other than the fact that your mood had significantly lowered, your thighs were littered with new and old cuts, the hate messages continued and you hated yourself. You had no idea what you’d done to deserve this but your mentality to all the hate was bad, you had accepted it and believed what everyone was saying.
One afternoon when things were really bad and Danneel had taken the kids to Genevieve’s, you sat in your room with bleeding thighs and tears streaming down your face. You didn’t want to do this anymore. You were ruining your dad’s life, Danneel and the kids hated you and nobody else on the planet seemed to cared if you lived or died and honestly neither did you.
Without much thought you brought the blade away from your thigh and sunk it into the unharmed flesh of both your wrists, slicing deeply at the skin with a wince of pain.
Of course it was that moment your phone rung and Uncle Jared’s name was flashing up on FaceTime. One last phone call you thought to yourself with a humorless laugh.
“Hey Y/N.” Jared’s voice was filled with concern. He had seen the messages that had been wrote about you in the past few days and after a little digging he’d come across far too many hate messages aimed at you.
“Uncle Jared.” Your voice was breathy, like it was taking all your energy to talk. You weren’t holding the phone either, Jared was currently looking at your ceiling. You didn’t think you had the energy to hold the phone and with the mix of tears and blood it was probably for the better.
“Y/N/N, sweet heart, is everything alright?” The concern in Jared’s voice doubled, something in his stomach turned as a bad feeling washed over him. His eyes scanned the set looking for Jensen but he wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
“Ever wonder if the world would be better off without you?” You asked him, eyes clenched shut as you focused on him and not the immense pain you were feeling. Your voice sounded distant even to you but you weren’t worried.
“Y/N, what are you talking about? Of course the world wouldn’t be better off! Misha, get Jensen now! Hey, Y/N, stay on the phone with me, yeah, keep talking to me.” He stayed on the call but clicked off the FaceTime so he was able to text Gen and tell her to get Danneel in the house. Something bad was happening and he was worried sick.
“M’sorry, I…I can barely keep my eyes open.” You told him sadly.
It wasn’t long until you felt yourself feeling weak, tired, sick and lightheaded. You let out a small whine as your head spun, making you feel dizzy. Your vision blurred dramatically and you were glad you were sat down. All it took was a few slow blinks before your world turned dark and the last thing you heard was Uncle Jared calling you name worriedly.

Pain.
All you could feel was pain.
You were awake but didn’t open your eyes. Confusion was another strong feeling and it took a few moments before the events that had occurred caught up with you. You remember talking to your Uncle Jared, telling him that you wanted to die or something along those lines, remembered him talking to Misha and calling for your dad whilst trying to make you stay on the phone. Remembered cutting into your wrists without a care in the world, without caring if you would survive.
Clearly you had survived though. Even without opening your eyes you knew you were in a hospital, the smell that every hospital seemed to have and the consistent beeping of a monitor were a dead give away.
You felt someone holding your hand and could hear soft sniffles coming from the person. You knew you had to open your eyes, had to face the reality and the consequences of what you had done but now, when you knew you had to speak about it, the reason behind it seemed silly. To you it was a big deal but you figured your dad and Danneel would brush over it by just telling you they cared.
Reluctantly you forced your eyes open and saw Danneel sat in an uncomfortable looking chair next to your bed, dried tears remained on her cheeks, as she clutched your hand tightly in hers.
“Danneel?” You asked, throat dry and croaky before you let out a fit of coughs. In seconds she was up and pouring you a glass of water, helping you guide it to your mouth and held it steady as you gulped it down greedily.
“How are you feeling?” She asked once you were finished and she’d sat back in the seat.
You honestly didn’t think you were capable of answering that question right now so you opted to just shrug your shoulders and avoid eye contact.
“Yeah, that was a stupid question, huh?” She asked rhetorically before continuing, “so your dad and uncle are on their way home. Jensen texted me right before they got on the plane so they should be landing within the next half hour.”
You nodded at her though you couldn’t help but feel guilty that both Jared and Jensen were flying home because of you, cutting into their busy filming schedule.
“The kids?” You managed to ask, wincing at the pain in your throat.
“They’re fine, they don’t know what happened yet. Gen offered to watch them as soon as we got Jared’s text.” She informed you and you couldn’t help but raise your eyebrow questioningly at the last part.
“Uncle Jared called you and once he started speaking to you, well, he said he had a bad feeling and asked Gen to get me to go home and check on you. Thank God I did, any later and-” Here she cut herself off as her eyes filled with tears, you looked down and began to play with your bed sheets as the guilty feeling grew within you.
“Oh sorry, this probably isn’t helping you. Anyway the kids are fine.” She finished, drying her eyes quickly.

It was another hour or so before Jensen walked into the hospital room, immediately making his way over to you. As he embraced you tightly you saw Danneel leaving the room and caught a glimpse of your uncle Jared.
“Baby girl, what’s going on in that head of yours, hey?” Your dad asked softly and that was all it took before you broke down in his arms. Tears fell down your face as you finally let out everything you were feeling. Jensen held you tightly, letting go only to climb into bed with you before clutching you tightly to his chest and letting you cry.
“That’s it baby, let it out. Good girl, that’s it. So good.” He continued to whisper random words of encouragement to you, soothing you marginally.
It took a while but eventually the tears began to fade and you had calmed yourself down enough to talk.
“I’m sorry.” You choked out causing him to tense up.
“Don’t say that baby girl, don’t you ever apologise. I’m sorry. I should’ve been there. I knew something wasn’t right and I didn’t do anything. God, I nearly lost you.” You looked up at him and saw his own eyes were filled with tears, some having spilled when you yourself were crying.
“S’not your fault daddy. I hid it, didn’t want help. Thought it was better this way. With me gone I wouldn’t be a burden to you or Dani.”
“What? You thin- Y/N Ackles, you’re not a burden. You’re my whole world, you, Danneel, Zepp, Arrow, JJ. My whole world. I’d be lost if I lost any one of you!” The passion and sincerity in his voice made you pause. “Don’t listen to people online, I know it’s easier said than done, trust me I know baby, but they don’t know us. We love you, Y/N/N, so damn much!”
Your eyes filled with tears again but they weren’t completely sad. You had this overwhelming sadness clouding over you, your head was telling you Jensen was lying but a part of you knew that was just because of the mentality you had adopted over the past few years. Nothing was going to get better instantly but something needed to change.
A few tears fell down your face as you cuddled further into Jensen’s chest, arm slung over his stomach and asked “can we stay like this for a little while?”
He kissed your head, telling you of course you could.
That night you fell asleep feeling some sort of hope for the future.

Three years.
That’s how long it had taken you to get better.
It was a long, hard, challenging, emotionally draining road but you had come out of it so much better. You’d deleted social media, realising that it was so toxic and you didn’t need that in your life. You’d given up going out of your way to search things about yourself and it had helped so much.
Jensen was home more now that seasons were shorter so he could spend more time with the family, a family you were very much a part of.
Right now you were sat in Jensen’s bed, smushed between him and JJ, whilst Danneel had her arms full with the twins. A Disney movie was playing on the TV, JJ and you singing along loudly and overdramatically causing you all to laugh. You turned your head in time to see Jensen looking at you with soft eyes and a fond smile.
“What?” You asked quietly causing his smile to grow.
“Nothing, it’s nice to see you this happy again, that’s all.” You couldn’t help the proud grin that made its way onto your face at his words.
It had taken so much time, a few different therapists and a whole lot of breakdowns but you were finally genuinely happy and confident with yourself and your emotions. You knew that your family cared about you and you wouldn’t let people’s opinions drag you down any longer.
“Nice to be this happy again.” You told him honestly and laughed as he dragged you closer to him and pressed a kiss on your head.
“I love you so damn much, baby girl.” Jensen told you softly.
“I love you too daddy.”

Warnings - Mentions of death (minor characters)
Pairings - Pre Sam Winchester x Reader
Requested - @may85 ~ Hey Hun! Can I get 11 and 14 with Sam Winchester please? 👻
Prompts - 11 - “Hey, keep your eyes on me.” Is it behind me? “Just, just look at me, yeah, everything’s going to be OK.” & 14 “So we’re dealing with a (supernatural creature), great, just great!”
It started with one death, the death of Amelia Smith, she’d been your roommate and had been bullied terribly. You hadn’t helped much but you still felt the overwhelming guilt when you had read she had killed herself.
Since then the people who bullied her had started going missing and then turning up dead, looking like they’d been severely tortured beforehand. You couldn’t help but think it was more than just a creepy coincidence but you couldn’t think of reasonable explanation for the deaths.
There were at least seven main bullies, so far three of them had turned up dead. After reading reports that were being released to the public it seemed that the girls went missing for three days before showing it, it was one of the many consistencies in all the deaths. Each victim had had her tongue cut off and significant blood loss.
It was safe to say you were ready to flee town.

“New case Sammy, not sure what we’re dealing with yet but it’s definitely our type of gig.” Dean said as he walked into the motel they were staying at.
“Oh yeah?” Sam asked, not looking up from his laptop.
“Yeah, so people have been going missing, so far all college girls, for three days and showing up dead with no tongue and their intestines twisted into knots.” Here Sam looked up with a disgusted look causing Dean to nod in agreement. “They’ve also got stab wounds. So you ready to head out?”
“Yeah sure. Hey, where’s the case?” Sam questioned as he closed the laptop and began packing up his belongings, Dean following in suit.
“Stanford University.” Dean told him with a grin. Sam’s eyes widened and he looked like he was going to protest but Dean was quick to interrupt. “It’ll be alright Sammy, no demons, should be an easy case. In and out.”

Something was definitely happening at Stanford. Another girl had gone missing, it was the second day since she’d been reported gone and the police were no closer to finding her than they were the other girls, meaning the fourth girl was probably going to show up dead tomorrow.
A knock on your door made you stop working on the project you had due in next week. Even though everything seemed to be going to hell you still needed the grades and couldn’t let this affect your life.
“Hi there, I’m Agent Mercury, he’s Agent Taylor, FBI, we’re here to ask you some questions about a Miss Amelia Smith. Do you have a moment?” The smaller of the two spoke but you ignored him in favour of looking at the taller.
“Agent Taylor, huh?” You asked, voice full of humour. “Gotta say I preferred Winchester.” You saw the confusion on ‘Agent Mercury’s’ face whereas Sam looked at you with a wide smile, albeit a bit shocked.
“Y/N?” He asked, stepping past his friend and over to you. You instantly wrapped him in a hug, not realising until now how much you’d missed your friend. Sure you had kept in contact with one another after he left but it wasn’t the same. He pulled out of the hug and before he could talk you began to question him.
“What’re you doing here? What’s with the fake FBI act? Are you staying? Did you hear about the killings?” Sam placed a hand on your shoulder and shushed you with a grin.
“Let’s go inside and talk yeah? By the way, that’s my brother Dean.” He told you before entering your room fully and taking a seat at your desk chair. You gestured for his brother to come in too and he took a seat on the edge of your bed.
“So what’s going on?” You asked Sam.
“Well, we think we can help with the investigation they’re doing on Amelia, hence the fake FBI act. Can you tell us anything at all about the deaths?” You couldn’t help but be a bit shocked that former law student, who managed to get a full scholarship to Stanford, Sam Winchester was now breaking many laws by pretending to be the FBI but didn’t question it for now, it could wait.
“Well Amelia was my roommate. We knew each other for about a year, she was in my class, the criminal law one. Um, there’s one thing I noticed, the girls that have been going missing and then showing up dead used to bully her a lot. I knew about it, hard not to when you were living with her but I didn’t do anything about it. I tried to be there for her but she was too far gone and then one day she killed herself, few days after that the deaths started happening.” You watched as Sam and Dean looked at each other, wordlessly conversing and understanding everything the other said. Dean shrugged and turned to you.
“Thank you, Y/N, you’ve been very helpful. C’mon Sam, we gotta go.” Dean said as he stood up and headed to the door.
“Wait, you’re just leaving?” You asked looking at Sam.
“We’re in town for a few days but then, yeah, we’ll probably head out.” He told you with a slight frown, making no move to leave your room.
“What happened to you? I know Jess died and I know you couldn’t stand to be here, hell I get that but what happened after that? You’re going around pretending to be the FBI! That’s not the Sam Winchester I knew!” You snapped, wanting answers from your friend.
“I can’t tell you because it’s better you don’t know and you wouldn’t believe me anyway.” He told you cryptically.
“Seriously, that’s all I get. Come on Sam, tell me what you’ve been doing since you left.” You were frustrated, you cared about him and knew him when he was happy and ready to get through law school, ready to have a life.
“I can’t!” He snapped at you.
“Why?” You snapped back, aware his brother had stepped forward to attempt to defuse the situation.
“Because if I tell you, you’ll end up like Jessica!” Sam yelled, his breathing heavy and his eyes misted over. You quickly became quiet, reaching out to hold his hand.
“Sam, you gottta tell me what you’re doing. I’m worried about you.” You pleaded with him softly.
“I can’t, I’m sorry but I can’t.” With that he stood up and left the room causing you to look down with a sad, defeated look.

“You ok?” Dean asked after a long period of silence, they had left the flat you were at and found at motel before beginning their research.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Sam lied knowing it was pointless because Dean could see through him.
“Yeah, stupid question. Let’s just finish this case and get the hell out of here.” He said, holding his beer bottle up to Sam.
“I’ll drink to that.” With a clink of the bottles the boys gulped down their drinks.
Sam scrolled through pages of lore before coming across one that sounded promising. He read over the article a few times before mentioning it to Dean but it was all there, the cutting of the tongue, knotted intestines, puncture wounds.
“I think I found what we’re dealing with.” He announced, causing Dean to look up and close his laptop slightly, “It sounds like it’s a Kanaima.”
“A kana-what?” Dean asked, eyebrows knitted together as he tried to remember if he’d read about it in dad’s journal.
“A Kanaima. The lore says Kanaima are avenging spirits or humans possessed by said spirits. Kanaima are shape-shifters and can appear in a variety of forms. Kanaima attack and kill their victims in retaliation for some injustice. In order to accomplish their goal, Kanaima will possess the bodies of animals or people. In such possessed form the host becomes enraged, wild, and will violently attack it’s victims. Kanaima are not above harming or killing the friends, family, and loved-ones of it’s victim. They live in the forests and become feral. An interesting aspect of the Kanaima is that it seeks the painful suffering of it’s victim and will not kill its victim outright. Instead, the Kanaima works it so that the victim dies a painful death three days after it’s attack. During this process the Kanaima slashes the tongue of its victim so that he/she cannot speak of what is occurring. Victims of the Kanaima often die from having their intestines twisted up into knots. The Kanaima must perform a strange ritual that includes the ingesting of the victims blood on the third night after the death of the victim. The ritual includes the stabbing of the corpse with a special staff or stick of wood and then licking-off the blood or fluids clinging to the stick when it is pulled from the body.”
““So we’re dealing with a Kanaima, great, just great! Does it say how to kill it?” Dean asked, taking another swig of his drink.
“Um, defences against a Kanaima are…unknown.” Sam finished with a sigh.
“I’ll call Bobby to start researching and we can go hunt ourselves a Kanaima.”

Taking a short cut through the woods was probably one of the worst ideas you’d had. Everything looked so much more threatening when one was alone in the woods after sun down and every noise made you jump. Though you knew you were alone you couldn’t help but feel like you were being watched and it sent a shiver up your shine.
You were so close to the forests exit when something grabbed you from behind, you let out a piercing scream before a large hand placed itself over your mouth, effectively cutting off your scream.
“Relax, it’s me.” The hand on your shoulder turned you around and you came face to face with Sam, glaring at him instantly.
“Dude! Who grabs somebody in the woods!” You fumed, turning you glare onto his brother who was still laughing from your fright.
“Sorry but what are you doing in the woods alone!? People are going missing and you’re just-” Sam cut himself off when a loud scream could be heard. He took one look at Dean and the pair were instantly running towards the source.
“Stay there!” Sam yelled over his shoulder and, yeah, like hell you were just going to stay here alone. The safer option would be to stick with the two people who seemed to have some clue of what was going on.
You quickly caught up with them but the three of you came to a halt when you saw a women with greasy, untamed hair, ripped clothing and dirt on her skin. Your eyes left her and you saw the fourth missing girl, blood trickling from her mouth causing you to assume the scream was from her tongue being cut out.
“Oh my God.” You muttered, face turning dangerously pale. Sam and Dean whipped around to face you with angry eyes.
“What part of stay there didn’t you get?” Dean snapped before look back at the two women. Sam was looking at you with concern but you couldn’t look away from the scene in front of you. The dirty women hadn’t noticed you yet and neither had the fourth missing girl.
“Did Bobby get back to you yet?” Sam asked urgently.
“Yeah, I got it here.” Dean replied unzipping his bag and pulling out two silver knives dipped in what looked like blood, the thought made you grimace.
“One stab to the heart, one to the head.” Dean told him as he passed Sam the knife.
“You take the head, I’ll get the heart and you,” he said turning to you, “please stay there.” You nodded at him, not daring to speak in fear on what could happen.
You watched as Sam and Dean crept forward and the woman let out and screech that was definitely not human before fleeing past them. They began to look around frantically before Dean’s gaze froze on you.
“Sam.” Dean’s voice was croaky as he got Sam’s attention, Sam immediately looked towards you his own eyes widening.
“Hey, keep your eyes on me.” Sam told you, his voice shaking as he looked sickly pale.
“Is it behind me?” You asked frightfully. Sam gulped before answering.
“Just, just look at me, yeah, everything’s going to be OK.” Behind you the Kanaima had pulled out the bow and arrow the lore had mentioned and was getting ready to shoot it at you before Dean snuck up behind it just in time to stab the knife through the Kanaima’s head and quickly through the heart.
Sam’s whole body physically relaxed as he let out a sigh of relief which told you everything you needed to know, you were safe.
“Oh my God.” You muttered again and Sam took a few steps forward before wrapping his arms around your shaking body.
“It’s ok, you’re ok, it’s ok, you’re good.” Sam muttered into your hair, gripping you tightly as though you would disappear. You appreciated the tight grip he had on you, needing the support right now.

Dean had called in the police and the three of you fled the scene before the showed up. The three of you were now sat in the boys motel room, a hot drink in each of your hands.
“So you’re telling me that monsters and all that Supernatural stuff really exists?” You asked sceptically.
“Yeah. Jessica was killed by the same demon that killed our mom and ever since I left Stanford we’ve been saving people, hunting things, the family business.” He told you with a slight laugh, you saw the smile Dean had on his face, a sad smile, as he looked at his brother.
“That’s insane!” You exclaimed, “I mean, demons, ghosts, Kanaima’s. Are vampires real? What about werewolves?” You questioned rapidly causing Sam to laugh.
“Yeah, yeah, vampires, demons, they’re all real.” He told you with a grin.
“So you’re going to be gone soon? Back on the road?” You asked, the relaxed atmosphere becoming more serious.
“Yeah I am. This is my life now and, yeah, it’s not always great but I love it.” He told you sincerely before continuing, “but I promise I’ll come down here more often and visit, I didn’t realise just how much I missed you until I came back.” You smiled softly at him before telling him you missed him too and he better come back.

Saying goodbye to Sam was harder than you’d thought it’d be. The boys dropped you back off at Stanford, Sam getting out of the car with you and walking you to the doors of the building.
“This isn’t goodbye you know, I’ll see you around Agent Taylor.” You told him with a smirk.
“Oh trust me, I’m counting on it, Miss Y/L/N.” He replied before his eyes turned sad.
“Hey, none of that. You have my number, you know where I live. Just, just make sure you keep your promise and come visit, yeah? And don’t leave it until there’s a few deaths, visit whenever you want.” You told him seriously and he nodded at you.
“I will, I promise I’ll be back. See you soon,Y/N.” He said as he wrapped you in a tight hug and placed a kiss on you head. You waved him off as he walked back to the Impala, a small smile threatening to break into a grin played on your face.
“See you soon, Sam Winchester.”

Pairings - Jensen Ackles & Daughter reader
Requested - anon - reader misses jensen (her dad) more than she realises and goes to a con and just soft fluff please (if you can link last nights episode in some how then that’d be great) Love your work!!!
Prompts - None.
You sat in your bedroom curled up under the covers of your bed with your TV playing in the background, snacks lay scattered around you as you scrolled through Twitter. You were waiting for the newest episode of Supernatural to air, knowing that your dad had worked so hard on it as director for that episode. You also knew that one of his songs from his upcoming album with Steve was going to be on it.
You hadn’t even seen the episode yet but you already had such an overwhelming feeling of pride for your dad, remembering how shy he had been once upon a time when performing in front of an audience and now he was hours away from releasing an album and having a song of his featured on the show he had dedicated such a huge part of his life to.
“Because I kind of hate me right now.” God spoke causing you to roll your eyes and mutter a sarcastic “tragic” under your breath. As much as you hated Chuck, you could help the smile as you watched Rob’s acting, he was incredible. It had been a while since you had seen him and other members of the cast, maybe you’d ask your dad if you could go to one of the upcoming conventions soon.
Tears filled your eyes as you watched Sam and Dean talk in the impala, turning to a watery glare as the scene changed to Chuck writing the story. You had no idea how Supernatural was going to end, your dad had offered to tell you some secrets but you refused. You’d been watching the show for a long time now and wanted to experience the final season along with every other fan, wanted to go on Twitter and tweet about your actual reactions, wanted to be shocked when an old face was reintroduced or cry like you had when Rowena had died.
Once the show ended it didn’t take long before your phone lit up with an incoming FaceTime call, you grinned as you saw your dad was the caller.
“Hey Y/N/N!” Your dad greeted as the call connected.
“Hey dad, you did such an amazing job directing that episode!” You told him sincerely, a giant grin on your face as you continued to praise him. “And the song! Dad, it fit so well! God, I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait until the album comes out tonight.” You had heard a few songs from the album, your dad had wanted to share them with you.
Some nights when you couldn’t sleep you’d wonder the house and find him in the living room or sat out in the back garden with his guitar and a notebook in front of him. He’d play you songs to help you drift back to sleep and you woke up the next day either on the couch cuddled up with him or in your own room wrapped tightly in your blankets.
“Yeah? You really think it was that good or you just saying that?” He teased, a grin on his own face as he took in the compliments you were giving him. To him there was no better reward than seeing his family happy, sure the awards they won on the show were great but seeing that pure look of happiness on your face couldn’t compare.
“Dad!” You laughed, “It was amazing, I promise! Everyone is raving about your directing and for good reason to. And Chuck in that episode, I swear I hate him so much but Rob- I love him and his acting is amazing.”
“Hey, what about me?” You heard a voice shout slightly off camera but knew the owner of the voice immediately.
“Uncle Jared! Of course, you were incredible as always!” You laughed as you watched him squeeze himself into your dad’s personal space so they both were just about visible on your screen.
“That’s what I like to hear. I miss you kiddo, I feel like I’ve not seen you for ages.” He pouted before playfully glaring at your dad.
“I know, I miss you too. I was actually going to ask you dad if I could come out to one of the conventions. I have a week off from school when you’re at the next one.” You told him, desperately hoping he’d say yes. It hadn’t been that long since you last saw him but you missed him so much when he wasn’t around.
“Well if you’re off school I don’t see why you can’t come. I’ll make sure everything sorted and let you know what’s happening. Are you going to be ok flying on your own, I don’t know if I’ll be able to fly back before the con?” He asked you, worry clear in his tone. You weren’t the best flyer but you could handle it on your own.
“Yeah, no, I’ll be fine. Promise. I just really wanna see you, Uncle Jared and the rest of the cast soon. I miss you.” You cursed yourself silently as your voice cracked, betraying the emotions you were feeling. Even though he was away a lot for work you were closest with your dad, he was always there whenever you needed him, if he wasn’t at home you knew you could always call him and he’d be there. When he wasn’t home though you did feel guilty about calling him, not wanting to drag him away from work or sleep if you’d had a particularly bad night. Having him close always took a huge weight off of you.
“Hey, I miss you too baby girl. Is everything alright?” He asked in concern, you watched as Jared moved away allowing you and Jensen some privacy.
“Yeah, I’m fine really, I don’t know why I’m so emotional right now. I guess I just didn’t realised how bad I missed you.” You told him, giving him a smile, not wanting him to worry about you more than he did. You watched as he frowned, eyebrows knitting together but he nodded along with what you were saying.
“You know if you need me, no matter when, you call me. Even if you think it’s silly-”
“I know I can call you. I promise nothing is wrong though.” You reassured him, smiling when he nodded more genuinely, some of the concern leaving his face but you could tell he didn’t fully believe you.
“We’ll be together before you know it princess.” He told you with a grin making you feel at ease.

Three weeks later you were stood in the airport at San Francisco waiting for your dad’s flight to come in. Luckily you’d both managed to get flights that were fairly close to each other but you were stuck at the airport for at least half an hour by yourself.
You decided to go to one of the coffee shops in the airport to grab a drink before making yourself comfortable at one of the tables and pulling your phone out. The flight itself wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t great, you honestly just wanted your dad. It had been weeks since you had seen him last and it was starting to get to you.
Forty minutes later you got a text from your dad letting you know him Misha and Jared had landed and you quickly wrote back letting him know where you were. You saw him first, it wasn’t hard to find Jensen, Misha or Jared in a crowd, they were usually the tallest and the fairly sized crowd following them, snapping pictures and getting autographs gave them away.
You managed to push past the fans and wrapped yourself around Jensen before he had a chance to even acknowledge who was invading his space. For a brief moment he assumed it was a fan but a quick glance down had him beaming and wrapping his arms around you just as tightly. You felt him press a kiss against your hair and couldn’t help it as your eyes filled with tears, God you’d missed him.
You heard the fans cooing around you but paid them no mind as you clung to your dad.
“Hey baby girl, I missed you.” He told you softly, you squeezed him tighter as you nodded against him.
“I missed you too.” You choked out, focusing on not letting any tears fall right now.
“How about we get to the car, yeah?” Jensen asked you and you agreed wanting to be out of the view of the public, people snapping pictures when you were crying wasn’t exactly what you wanted.
Pulling away from Jensen you were engulfed by Jared wrapping you in his own hug, you were quick to hug him back. Not realising how much you’d missed him until you were in his arms.
“I missed you Uncle Jared.” This caused him to smile brightly down at you before telling you how much he missed you as well.
When you left Jared’s arms you turned to Misha and the two of you hugged each other before finally you were all leaving the airport, Jensen having grabbed the suitcase you’d abandoned in favour of greeting him.

The car ride to the hotel wasn’t too long, you’d spent it cuddled up against your dad having no intention of leaving him at any point in the near future. When the four of you got to the hotel, your dad went to check you both in and you turned just in time to see Rob, Rich and Matt leaving the elevator. You made your way over to them, Richard spotting you first and meeting you half way.
“Y/N! You’re here!” He yelled as he threw his arms around you. The hug was quick and the other two hugged you hello.
“God, I love conventions, so many hugs.” You sighed happily causing the boys to laugh. The four of you chatted until Jared, Jensen and Misha came over, allowing everyone to greet each other and arrange for a dinner later on that evening.
“Come on princess, let’s put these away.” Jensen said, gesturing to the suitcases. One of his arms was placed around your shoulder as the other pulled his suitcase. You smiled up at him before taking your suitcase and heading to the elevator the boys had just left.

“So,” Jensen started. The two of you were cuddled together in bed, you’d met up with Jared, Misha, Alexander, Ruth, Richard, Rob, Matt, Kim, Briana and Mark for dinner and now were back at the hotel. The cast had an early morning tomorrow so it was an early night for most of them. “Are you sure there’s nothing wrong? I’m not complaining about you being cuddly, trust me I love it, but if you need to talk, I’m right here.” You smiled up at him, feeling happier than you had when back in Austin.
“I promise I’m fine. I guess I just needed you more than I realised lately. Nothing even happened, school has been great, my grades are good, Danneel and the kids are doing well, nothing is bad but I don’t know I guess I just miss you being around. I don’t know why it got to me so much this time though.” You told him honestly. Jensen looked down at you, placing a kiss against your forehead before pulling you closer to him.
“I miss being around too. I love what I do so much but sometimes I feel bad about leaving you and JJ, the twins, Dani. I promise I’m always here though, for all of you. I’ll have more time once the show has ended, even with the music and the other projects. I love you, kiddo.” He told you. You were saddened to hear how bad he felt, the family knew he was there for them though and you all were so close, even when he was gone he made an effort to be involved in everyone’s lives.
“I love you too, so much. Never feel bad though, we all love that you’re doing what you love and that you still make such an effort to be with us, either on video calls or flying home on breaks, even if its just for a day or two.” The smile he gave you showed you how much your words meant to him even if they didn’t, to you, feel like they did justice to what you wanted to say. He always knew what you were saying without you needing to say it.
You couldn’t wait til his next break so he could come home.

Prompts - Song Prompt - Run Through Walls (Click to listen).
You’d known the Supernatural cast since you were nine, joining the cast in one of the earlier seasons as Dean’s daughter. Jensen was like a father to you both on and off screen, you’d spent plenty of time at his house on breaks and for holidays. He’d taken you to you first convention and supported you through everything, professionally and personally. You were close with Jared too, he’d helped you a lot when it came to your mental health. Getting hate messages from such a young age had definitely affected you but they got you through it and any time things got too much you gave them a call or went to sit with them, everything turned out better.
Misha Collins had gone above and beyond for you. Flying from your home to Vancouver or to another state for a convention always had you feeling overwhelmingly anxious, flying on your own always set you on edge. One convention in San Francisco saw you sat at the airport alone in tears when Misha called you. You remembered him calming you down through the phone and him catching a flight over to you so the pair of you could travel to San Francisco together even though he was originally closer than you were. You’d apologised profusely but he wouldn’t hear anything of it, swearing he was more than happy to help you.
You and Rob hadn’t always got along so well. It’s not that you didn’t like each other it’s just that you’d never really got to know each other. When you decided you wanted to give music a try, Jared and Jensen asked him to speak to you and he was more than happy to. After that the two of you became quick friends. You’d spent countless nights making music together, at cons when neither of you could sleep you would camp out in one of your rooms and play music together or watch some cheesy movie and cuddle up together, eventually falling asleep tangled together.
Richard Speight was somebody who everyone felt automatically comfortable around and you were no exception. The moment you met him you knew he was going to be in your life for a long time. You and Rich hung out so much together both on and off set, if you were at a convention together you wouldn’t be too far from each other. Any time with Rich was guaranteed to be fun, except for maybe when the two of you had to fly anywhere together, two anxious flyers was a recipe for disaster - add Matt into the mix and it was an even bigger mess, thank the Lord for Rob Benedict, how he coped with three anxious flyers was a mystery to you all. Though you and Rich were always joking around, the pair of you could be serious when the moment called for it. You’d called him one night after a fight with your parents and sobbed down the phone to him and he was quick to comfort you, offering you a place at his house for as long as you needed. When a family member of yours had passed away and you were a mess, Richard was one of the first people at your door, offering you a warm hug and kind words.
Matt Cohen was one of the people who you considered your best friend. The pair of you were so close with each other, you’d been a big help when it came to babysitting for him to which he was thankful for. The two of you met up at least four times a month, with your schedules you had to make time for each other, and had friend dates. Sometimes you’d have lunch, go see a movie or concert. Your favourite friend date had been when he had taken you out after a really bad breakup, he took you to a movie you’d really wanted to see, then he found an old school miniature crazy golf course that left you both in stitches and he’d ended the night by taking you to a fancy restaurant, the both of you playing dress up in nice outfits. You loved him for that day, he’d managed to take such a draining morning and turn it into one of the best memories that you’d treasure forever.
Ruth, Kim and Briana were your best girlfriends. You’d always been mature for your age so getting on with people who were older than you had never been a problem and these friends you’d made along the way were some of the best people you’d ever met. Kim definitely took on a mom role with you but you loved it, loved having someone check on you with so much care and wanting you to succeed. Ruth was another person who you tended to cling to on set and at conventions, when ever you were around her you were constantly laughing and smiling. You loved travelling with Ruth, the pair of you had gone to Paris together for an event and seeing the sights and playing tourist with Ruth was so incredible. Briana and you got on so well, it took a while before you both got to act on screen together but when you did it was the best. Thankfully Richard was directing because the two of you kept laughing and just generally having the best time together, though it did mean that getting the right take took much longer but Jared, Jensen and Misha were joining in on the fun too.

You were all sat backstage at Rob’s show that he hosted at conventions, listening to him and Briana sing together as you all danced around backstage, clapping and cheering once they were done.
“Alright, Alright. Next up we have Y/N who is going to sing a song from her new album that come out in 10 days!” Rob introduced with a grin. You felt someone squeeze your shoulder and turned to smile at Matt as he mouthed ‘good luck’ to you.
You’d been nervous for weeks about releasing your own album, only ever featuring on other people’s or doing singles for movies and tv shows. The thought of putting your own music out there had filled you will anxiety but everyone had been so supportive. You’d played the cast most of the songs but purposely hadn’t let them hear the song you’d be singing tonight.
“Ok, hey everyone. So real quick, nobody outside of the recording studio has heard this song yet so I’m super nervous,” here you paused as the crowd cheered loudly in support, “thank you. So this song is really quite personal to me and it’s basically about finding those friends who would do anything for you and you for them. It’s about knowing what’s important in your life and basically an open love letter to those who go above and beyond for you. It’s called ‘Run Through Walls’ and I hope you guys and the people I wrote it for like it.” You finished your speech and let the crowd cheer as you sat on the stool and nodded to the band to begin.
“With no visible superpowers Sitting in the kitchen and talkin' for hours You always show up at the perfect time There's no one born with X-Ray eyes There's no way to know what's on my mind But you always say the words that save my life
I've got friends that will run through walls I've got friends that will fly once called When I've nowhere left to go And I need my heroes I've got friends that will run through walls
You may not be superhuman But you've got the strength to carry me through it My shield of steel when I'm too weak to fight Yes, you are And that day my mother died And you held me up and you wiped my eyes It was in that moment when I realised
That I've got friends that will run through walls (Yeah) I've got friends that will fly once called When I've nowhere left to go And I need my heroes I've got friends that will run through walls
You're always happy for my happiness And sad for my sadness P me off, you're mad for my madness (Ooh) Ever since we were young, you help me rise from the ashes If I fall from the sky you'd catch me 'Cause friends don't let you do stupid things Oh, friends don't let you do stupid things Oh, friends won't let you do stupid things Alone, alone
I've got friends that will run through walls (Yeah) I've got friends that will fly once called (Yeah) When I've nowhere left to go And I need my heroes I've got friends that will run through walls
Yeah, yeah Whoa-oh-oh When I've nowhere left to go And I need my heroes I've got friends that will run through walls I've got friends that will run through walls And I've got friends that don't text, they call When I've nowhere left to go and I need you the most I've got friends that will run through walls.”
The roar of the crowd was deafening and you couldn’t help the grin that was plastered on your face or the tears that filled your eyes, too many emotions hitting you at once. An overwhelming surge of happiness filled you as you realised you’d preformed this song that was so close to your heart and people had actually enjoyed it. You let out a gasp as you were pulled against somebody’s chest and managed to look up to see Jensen looking at you with so much pride and a grin of his own.
“That was amazing, kiddo, I’m so proud of you. God, I love you so much.” He told you quietly as the crowd continued to clap for you.
“I’m so glad you liked it, Jens. I love you too.” You smiled as he pressed you closer to him and as you felt him kiss your head.

Hugs were given out from everyone after the show had finished. Everyone was quick to tell you how much they loved you and you told them you loved them too, feeling so much happiness and appreciation for your life and the amazing people in it.
You ended up in Richard’s room that night, cuddled against him, feeling worn out by the long day and the emotions from the last few hours.
“I’m so glad you are all in my life.” You whispered into the dark room, smiling softly as you felt his hand rub up and down your arm soothingly.
“Trust me, bug, we’re so glad you’re in ours and we’d do anything for you.” He told you and though you already knew it, it was nice to hear it from Richard.
“I’d do anything for you guys too.” You replied, cutting yourself off with a yawn. Richard pulled you and the blankets closer to him before quietly telling you to get some rest.
“Love you, Rich.” You mumbled tiredly, eyes already drifting closed.
“I love you too, Y/N/N.”

Requested - Yes - Daughter reader for Jared Padalecki were she comes out to him. Fluff and angst.
Your dad was finally back home from filming and you knew now was the best time to tell him. Of course you’d thought about telling him a number of ways, in fact you’d written out several text to him that had all ended up being erased, you’d facetimed and called him with the intent of telling him but backed out every time.
No more, you told yourself, this was it.
You’d heard from your dad and Uncle Jensen that they had landed safely in Texas and were making their way home. You had been prepping yourself for this moment for weeks, knowing you had to tell him. You knew he was fine with fans that came out to him from conventions and things like that but this was a bit different than a fan coming out to him, this was his daughter.
What if he hated you? What if he kicked you out and never wanted to see you again?
You’d always been pretty close with your dad. For a long time before he met Genevive it was just you and him, sure you’d been jealous of Gen at first but she was always caring and loving towards you, treating you like one of her own when she didn’t need too. You didn’t want to come out and ruin the family and what if word got out that Jared Padalecki’s daughter was gay, could it affect his career? All sorts of illogical questions had plagued you for as long as you had known.
Countless nights had seen you sobbing silently as you let your head fill with worst case scenarios, hardly ever letting yourself think of the best case for fear of rejection. It hurt you to hide such a huge part of yourself from your dad but the thought of him turning you away was so much worse.
Your heart thumped madly against your chest as anxiety filled your bones when you heard the front door open and close.
Dad was home.

As much as Jared loved filming, he loved the breaks he got to spend time with his family. Often he felt guilty that he wasn’t around as much as he should be, the kids understood even though most of them were young, he knew you understood too but he loved when you ame on set with him.
Jared had of course notice your distant lately, through text and calls, and he planned to talk to you about it. If he could help he would, he’d never want you or anyone of his family members to feel like they were alone in the world. He greeted Genevive and the kids, noticing straight away that you hadn’t come downstairs. He shrugged it off, thinking there was a possibility that you could have headphones or were taking a nap. Deep down he knew there was something wrong though.
He made his way up the stairs, placing his bag him his and Gen’s room before making his way over to yours. He knocked on the door, pushing it open when he didn’t receive an answer and stopped as he saw you sat on the floor, quiet sobs escaping you as your face rested on your knees.
Quickly, he snapped out of the shock and made his way over to you. He scooped you up and placed you in his lap, holding you tight and rocking you gently as though you were still a small child.
“Hey, baby girl, shush, that’s okay, take your time, you’re fine Y/N.” Jared whispered softly against your hair.

-
You had every intention of walking out of the room and telling your dad that your gay, you really did. Then your thoughts got the better of you and you couldn’t bring yourself to open the door. Before you knew it the tears were falling down your face and you could hardly breath.
It seemed to pass in a blur before you register you were being held against your dads chest, hearing the words he was whispering as he tried to get you calm.
“S-sorry!” You managed to sob, the word barely recognisable.
“Don’t be sorry, sweetheart. Everything’s going to be alright.” Jared reassured as he continued to keep up his steady stream of reassuring words.
Eventually, you managed to stop sobbing, though the tears were still pouring down your face no matter how many times your dad wiped at them.
“Sorry, you just got home.” You mumbled, pressing your face into his chest.
“Hey, none of that now, you hear me?” Though you knew he wasn’t expecting an answer you nodded anyway causing him to smile. “Darlin’, what happened?” He asked you, concern practically dripping from him.
You took a deep breath.
This really was it.
“I’m gay.” You managed to breath out, eyes screwed shut tightly as you refused to look at him.
“You’re gay? Wait that’s why you were so upset?” Jared asked, confusion clear in his tone.
“Didn’t want you to hate me.” You mumbled against his chest, eyes opening in shock as you heard him chuckle.
“Hate you?” He repeated. “Darlin’, I could never hate you, especially not for something like this! You know I’ll support you with anything, same goes for your brothers and sister. You being gay doesn’t make you any less of the Y/N Padalecki I know and love, trust me on this baby girl, this changes nothing. I know I speak for most everyone in this family on that. I love you so much.”
At this point you were sobbing again but this time it was tears of joy and relief pouring down your face.
“Thank you! I’m so sorry.” You sobbed.
“C’mon now, none of that. You’re my daughter no matter what and I’ll always support you.” He told you sincerely, kissing your head as he did.
In that moment, you knew you were so incredibly lucky to have a dad as supporting, loving and non judgemental as Jared Padalecki.

Requested - Yes - Can you do a Dean Forester x reader fake dating au? Like after Dean and Rory broke up Jess broke up with the reader, then Rory started dating Jess and the reader and Dean were both really hurt, and they start fake dating to spite Rory and Jess (and give Stars hollow something to really gossip about) but things are going really well and they end up helping each other get full scholarships and at some point Dean is like "fuck it, I accidentally fell in love with u, can we date for real?"
Prompts - Fake dating
You had to admit that you weren’t all too shocked when Jess left you for Rory after the dramatic breakup between Rory and Dean. You were there to witness Dean finally lose his temper and snap, you couldn’t blame him, Rory clearly knew she had feelings for Jess but continued dragging Dean along because Jess was otherwise occupied. Though you hated what Jess had done to you, leaving you feeling used, there was a part of you that still wanted him back.
Maybe that was the reason for this quite frankly insane plan you and Dean had come up with. The two of you had only spoken a hand full of times, Rory wasn’t exactly your biggest fan to begin with and then Jess began hating Dean, there just hadn’t been a good opportunity since he came to the small town of Stars Hollow but now there was. The two of you had pretty much all your classes together and you watched as Dean came in, looking about as good as you felt. The lack of sleep was clearly visible and he just radiated sadness, the same went for you though. Along with the sadness and hurt both of you felt, there was also a deep feeling of embarrassment, both break ups had been rather public and of course gossip spread like wild fire in a town like this.
“Hey Y/N.” Dean had shocked you one day by joining you under a shaded tree that hid you rather well from the rest of the school. Dean had smiled at you confused expression before asking if he could join you.
“Hi Dean, um, yeah, sure.” You’d manage to reply, honestly confused as to why the ex-boyfriend of your ex-boyfriends girlfriend would want to talk to you.
“Listen, I just wanted to say I know how you’re feeling. It sucks, right, but if you ever need to talk to someone, someone who won’t use it as gossip and have it around the town within the hour then just know I’m here.”
That’s how it started. The sincerity in his voice had you believing him and it wasn’t long before you two were sat under the tree hashing out the details.
“Hold on, you want us to fake date?” You’d asked when he brought the idea up one break time.
“I just think that it’ll get some sort of reaction out of them, make them jealous. I mean Rory doesn’t like you and Jess, well we all know how he feels about me.” Dean said with a sarcastic laugh, causing you to smile. “Say no if you want to but I don’t know, it could be interesting.”
“Dean,” You began, upon first hearing the idea it was absurd but the more you thought about how much Jess and Rory had hurt you two, the more it seemed like a good idea. “Let me think about it?” You asked causing him to nod immediately.
“Of course, please take your time. I’ll see you later, Y/N.” You watched as Dean walked away with a slight frown on your face as you thought about what he had said.
-
-
-
It was a week before you’d talk to Dean again. You hadn’t planned on talking to him but you saw him through the window of Luke’s alone and made up your mind then and there.
“May I join you?” You asked as you made your way over to him. Dean looked up from the work he was doing in surprise, only to smile a moment later.
“Y/N! Yes, please have a seat.” He said, gesturing to the seat opposite him.
“What can I get for you, Y/N?” Luke asked before you had the chance to open your mouth. You quickly ordered your regular and turned back to Dean as Luke left.
“So, what’s up?” He asked, fiddling with his pen.
“I’ll be your fake girlfriend.” You told him quietly with a grin. He looked at you for a moment as if working out whether you were being honest before he grinned back at you.
Luke brought you your drink and quickly filled Dean’s up before leaving and before you knew it two and a half hours had passed and you and Dean were still sat in the diner, getting to know one another.
It struck you that Jess had never bothered to get to know the little things about you that Dean was asking about but you pushed that thought from your mind as quickly as it had come.
“Well I should probably go, I didn’t mean to stay this long and I still have that English homework to get done.” You groaned causing Dean to laugh.
“C’mon, I’ll walk you out. I’ve got work anyway.”
As luck would have it as the two of you rounded the corner, Lorelai and Rory nearly walked into you. Whilst Lorelai apologised, you and Dean doing the same, Rory just looked between you and Dean before settling on a glare.
“Well that went well.” You laughed once the pair walked into Luke’s, Dean laughing along with you. “I’ll see you tomorrow then, yeah?” You asked.
“Yeah. You want to meet up here and get some coffee before school?”
“I’d love to.” With that the two of you went your separate ways not noticing the glare Rory was giving you from the diner.
-
-

“Did you hear the news?” Babette asked Lorelai one morning, two weeks after you and Dean agreed to fake date.
“No, what news?” Lorelai asked as she leaned against the counter at Luke’s. Luke listened too though not making it obvious and Jess glanced over from were he was talking to Rory.
“Well,” Babette started with a hesitant look towards the young couple, “I heard from Patty, who heard from Joe, who heard from Tom, that Dean and Y/N are dating! I mean can you believe it!” She exclaimed, not noticing the dark look on Rory’s face and the eye roll and mask of indifference on Jess’.
“Wait, Y/N and Dean? As in Rory’s ex boyfriend and Jess’ ex girlfriend?” Lorelai asked, shock clear in her voice.
“Oh my thoughts exactly, doll, I mean who’d have thought it? Anyway, I gotta go, Morey’s expecting me back any moment. See you soon sugars.” And with that Babette left, leaving everyone with different thoughts running through their heads.

Dean and you were sat in Luke’s, both noting how Jess glared at the two of you and pointedly ignored your table. Luke rolled his eyes before taking your orders.
Dean had told you on your walk over to Luke’s about how Rory had shown up at his window, how her apology seemed self-centred and how Rory said she loved him. Dean had sent her away, furious at her for even showing up.
You couldn’t blame him for his anger, especially not when Jess had cornered you when you were leaving the market spouting all the right words of how much he liked you, how Dean was no good.
It was safe to say the urge to slap him was real. How dare he say Dean was no good for you when he ditched you the moment Rory left Dean.
“So, were are we up to?” Dean asked as he moved his chair closer to you, neither of you noticing Rory, Lorelai and Sookie entering the diner and sitting at the opposite end.
“Ugh math.” You told him with a grimace. The two of you were taking this extra time together to help each other with school work, focusing on topics the other wasn’t so good at and teaching it until it made sense.
You had helped Dean with English and science, helping to come up with easy ways to memorise important passages of texts or formulas. Whereas Dean was helping you with math, the one subject that you needed to raise your grade in order to even have a chance at the colleges you were looking at.
Dean had confided in you he hadn’t thought much about college, not knowing what he wanted to do. You in turn helped him research different colleges and he eventually found a few with courses that interested him. Now that you both had a vague idea of what you wanted it was easy to set targets and help each other.
“C’mon now,” Dean laughed, wrapping his arm around you as you pressed your forehead to his shoulder with a groan, “you’re getting better.”
“No I’m not. I’m gonna fail, there’s no hope.” You pouted over dramatically causing him to laugh louder before pressing a subconscious kiss to your head.
“No, you won’t. You wouldn’t let me fail and I won’t let you.” He told you, voice hard with determination.
“Fine, fine. Let the torture begin.” You groaned but shot him a grin.
As the two of you pulled your books out you missed the way Rory and Jess glared at you.
“I can’t keep up, one minute your falling all over Jess whilst you were with the nicest guy ever and now that you’re with Jess you want Dean back.” Lorelai said with an eye roll as she watched Rory.
“What?” Rory jumped, finally looking away from you two. “I don’t want him back, it’s just, I don’t know.” She finished weakly, slumping down in her seat.
“You have to pick, Rory. I told you that when you were dating Dean and you picked Jess.”
“He broke up with me!” Rory protested weakly.
“Because he saw the way you were with Jess, he knew you liked him and no matter how hard that boy tried he knew he couldn’t carry on like that.” Lorelai argued, knowing she was right.
Rory just rolled her eyes before grabbing her bag and walking out of Luke’s. You and Dean were oblivious to the whole thing as you sat close enough together that your foreheads were touching with Dean praising you with every bit of progress you’d made.

It wasn’t long before exam season finally rolled around and you were stressed. Every free moment was spent in either your bedroom, Luke’s diner, the library or Dean’s bedroom studying.
Currently you were on the floor of Dean’s bedroom, books and loose sheets of paper surrounded you. Dean was in the same position on his bed. It wasn’t long before you let out a loud groan, throwing your head back against the bed and rubbing your eyes.
Dean climbed off the bed before sitting next to you. He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close with concern in his eyes.
“You ok?” He asked softly, frowning as you shook your head whilst mumbling about failing into his shoulder.
“Hey, you’re not going to fail, ok, you know this. Watch,” he said, whilst pulling away from you and searching through your pile of paper before finding a deck of study cards. “Ok, the ratification of the eighteenth amendment led to what?" Dean asked.
“It led to a ban on the manufacturer and sale of the alcoholic beverages.” You said, biting you lip before grinning at Dean’s nod.
“Perfect!” He exclaimed with his own grin, “Which president signed the Antipoverty Act into law?” He questioned, watching as your smile grew.
“Lyndon B Johnson.” You answered confidently, causing him to laugh.
“See you know it!” He told you, “Ok, so if A equals 1,2,3 and B equals 3,4,5, how many sections are in the intersection of A and B?” He asked. You bite your lip as the question ran through your head.
“One?” You questioned and upon seeing him nod you relaxed slightly.
“Good!” He praised and that’s how the next half hour was spent.
“Ok, my turn to question you!” You told him as you reached up for his set of cards.
“Ok, so within a specified period, an increase in atomic number is usually accompanied by what?" Watching as Dean squinted, his head titling slightly to the right in concentration, you couldn’t help but think of how cute he looked. Your eyes widened at the thought, shaking your head just as Dean answered.
‘A decrease in atomic radius and an increase in electronegativity.” He replied nervously.
“Yes!” You beamed up at him and he couldn’t resist smiling back.
The two of you quizzed each other until you feel asleep. You with your head on Dean’s shoulder, Dean with his head resting on yours.

The morning after the two of you had woken up late and quickly rushed to get ready. You had no other clothes and had no time to run home so ended up in yesterdays jeans and one of Dean’s shirts that, whilst tucked in still looked ridiculously big. Though Dean admitted, if only to himself, that he liked the look of you in his clothes.
The pair of you rushed to the school, skipping your morning drinks at Luke’s for the first time since you started ‘dating’. Everyone congregated outside of the hall to sit the first exam of the day; Math.
Dean watched from his position of leaning against the wall as you paced back and forth, muttering different equations to yourself. It wasn’t long before he pulled you into his arms, you relaxing slightly with a second thought.
“You got this.” He told you sincerely, leaning down to kiss your forehead.
“I hope you’re right.” You whispered as you were let into the hall.
“Good luck.” You told him, leaning up on your toes to kiss his cheek.
“You too, Y/N/N.”

Two exams down and you were sat outside on a bench waiting for Dean, whilst your math exam was at the same time, he had an English exam that started later than yours.
You sat with your laptop, finishing the last of your college application letters and had them sent off. You’d applied for two ivy league schools just on the off chance you did get accepted, those being Yale and Princeton, though you had also applied to Stanford, NYU, Michigan and Chicago. It was a relief knowing that they were sent off and now all you had to worry about was the exams themselves.
“Hey there.” You leaned your head back to see Dean smiling down at you, looking relaxed for the first time all day.
“Hey! How was the exam?” You asked, knowing how much he was dreading it.
“Honestly, I think it went pretty well but that’s only thanks to all the extra help I’ve been getting.” He grinned at you, leaning forward to peck your lips. “Whatcha doing?” Dean asked leaning his head on yours.
“I just finished sending all my college applications off.” You said letting out a breath of relief.
“I need to send mine off tonight.” He told you as he stood up, holding his hand out for you which you happily took and he led you to the diner.
“Are you working tonight?” You asked him, frowning slightly when he nodded.
“Yeah but Taylor’s letting me go early because I told him I need to study.” The conversation drifted off into talk of the science and lit exams tomorrow before Dean was leaving for work, leaning over and kissing you first.
“What are you doing with him?” Jess asked as he sat himself in the chair Dean had been occupying.
“Excuse me?” You asked, lifting the mug to your mouth. Luke watched from the counter, ready to step in if Jess upset you.
“I mean, Dean, seriously? You could do so much better.” He told you, slouched in the chair like he didn’t care.
“What’s going on there?” Lorelai asked Luke as she approached the counter.
“Dean just left and now Jess is bothering her.” Luke summed up as he poured her a cup of coffee. “Really?” You asked, voice loud enough for everyone in the diner to hear. “You mean like you, the guy who ditched me the moment Rory and Dean split up? Yeah I’m sure Dean’s a real downgrade. I gotta tell you though being with Dean has been so much better than being with you. If you ask me, I think Gilmore’s the one who got the downgrade.” With that you stood, scooping your laptop into your hands and walked out of the diner with your head held high.
It was safe to say your outburst was the talk of the town that evening.

“What a jerk.” Dean replied once you saw him the next day.
“Right.” You said. The two of you were sat on a patch of grass in his garden leaning against one another. One thing that had bothered you from your meeting with Jess yesterday was how you meant every word; being with Dean was so much better. At some point the kisses and hand holding for the public had turned into second nature responses, half the time you forgot you weren’t really dating.
“Anyway it’s fine. Honestly, I was over him a long time ago.” You said causing Dean to smile. “Did you send your applications in?” Dean told you he had and told you which colleges he had decided on, most of them were community colleges but one caught your attention.
“Stanford!” You exclaimed. “You applied for Stanford! Dean, that’s amazing.” You had known Dean had been debating it but eventually decided against it due to him doubting himself despite your protesting and praising. The fact that he had even decided to apply was big.
“Okay, okay, calm down.” He laughed, “I haven’t got in yet. Hell, I doubt I will but it didn’t hurt to apply and-” You cut Dean off with a kiss before pulling back with a grin.
“It’s amazing Dean, they’ll be foolish to turn you down.” You told him, causing him to pull you in for another kiss.
It didn’t occur to either of you that no one was around to see it.

“I got them.” You said into your phone. Currently you were walking to the town centre with six college admission letters in your hand. Dean and you had decided to wait until you both had all your letters until opening them.
“Me too, I’ll meet you under the gazebo.” Dean said before the two of you hung up.
You were so anxious. The fate of your future laid in your hands, literally. By the time you got to the gazebo you were pale and shaking.
“Hey, hey, sit down.” Dean said, taking your free hand and pulling you to sit on the bench. He helped you breath properly before talking to you.
“Whatever happens you’ll be fine, I promise.” He told you. You nodded at him before taking a deep breath.
“Ready?” You asked.
“Ready.” He confirmed.
The first letter came from Princeton, it was a rejection letter. Though you were expecting it, not really wanting the Ivy league ones but applying just to see. It disheartened you but you set it aside.
Dean opened his and saw he was accepted into Southern Connecticut State.
The second letter came from NYU and you grinned once you saw the acceptance.
Dean’s second letter was also an acceptance.
The third and fourth informed you both that you had gotten into the colleges.
You opened the fifth letter and were shocked to find you had been accepted into Yale. Dean grinned at you as you stared in disbelief. Realistically you knew you weren’t picking that college, purely on financial matters alone but also you weren’t an ivy league school person.
Dean and you both had one envelope left; Stanford.
The two of you stared in shock as you read you had both been offered a full ride scholarship.
“Y/N!” Dean exclaimed pulling you up and into a tight hug. Your arms wrapped around him as you took in the words; the college you had most wanted had not only accepted you but given you a full ride.
You were pulled out of your thoughts as you felt Dean kiss you passionately, when he pulled away the two of you were panting as he leaned his forehead against yours.
“Screw this, Y/N.” He said pulling away causing you to frown. “I can’t do this fake dating anymore, somewhere along the way I fell in love with you. Will you be my girlfriend? For real this time?” He asked with a slight laugh, causing you to grin and nod, an exclamation of yes leaving your mouth before Dean pulled you into another kiss.
“I love you too.” You whispered as he pulled back.
Dean just grinned at you before kissing you again, loving that he could now knowing his feelings were reciprocated and it wasn’t just for show.

The two of you had found an apartment not far from the campus but far enough away that it was still considerably cheap. It wasn’t the greatest place but it was yours and Dean’s home. You took a job in the college library and Dean picked up a job in the cafeteria.
The two of you settled into living together rather well, obviously there were a few arguments here and there but moving out of the small gossiping town of Stars Hollow had done you both the world of good.
Dean was studying engineering at an advanced level and you were finally studying what you wanted and loved it.
The two of you had never been happier and even though it was all thanks to your ex’s and Dean’s fake dating idea, you wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

It had been a long, long, road to get to where you were now but somehow the two of you had done it together. Sure there had been fights, what couple didn’t argue, and there had been a few close calls, though one time you had broke up for a week before realising how foolish the both of you had been.
“Honestly Dean! We’ve been dating since we were seventeen, you really don’t trust me?” You yelled at him from one side of the room.
“Of course I trust you, Y/N!” Dean yelled back, just as frustrated. It was finals week during your first year of Stanford. The stress was higher than ever and you had joined forces with another classmate to study and Dean had read too much into it. Looking back it was the stress of everything building up to this but in the moment it was impossible to think logically. “But you said it yourself, we’ve been together since we were kids! You can’t blame me for thinking you’d want to explore something else.” Hearing those words you glared at Dean.
“Maybe it’s not me who wants to explore.” You said, voice low and cold as you shouldered your way past him. He gently took your wrist in his hand but let go when you pulled away.
“Y/N, you know that’s not what I want or meant. I love you for God sake.” He pleaded as you touched the door handled.
“Don’t call me” You said before walking out the door and crashing at your friends dorm for the week.
After finals you and Dean finally met up, talking and laughing and apologising.
Yeah, you thought, safe to say college was a stressful time.
The two of you visited Stars Hollow during most holidays but during your third year at college the pair of you decided to try hosting Christmas. Clara and Dean’s parents came whereas yours had to travel to see extended family, something you weren’t too worried about missing.
“Dean!” You laughed as you saw the man standing over the burning vegetables. “What did you even do?”
“Stop laughing and help me.” Dean pouted, looking hopelessly down at the broccoli that definitely wasn’t green anymore, nor were the carrots orange.
“Hand it over, sugar. You focus on the mash.” You couldn’t help but laugh again at the weary look Dean gave between you and the potatoes waiting to be mashed. “C’mon, even you can mash some potatoes.”
You restarted the vegetables, missing the loving smile Dean gave you from his corner of the kitchen as he watched you dance around the kitchen with the cheesy Christmas music blaring from the speaker.
He knew then and there he’d be the biggest idiot ever to lose you.
Overtime the two of you had gotten better at hosting parties for different occasions, Dean even eventually learned to cook vegetables without burning them, though the one time he was left in charge of the turkey, well lets just say it’s a good thing you had the foresight to buy a spare.
Graduating from Stanford was something to be proud of in itself. Graduating top of your class was a whole other accomplishment. Dean had hugged you close as he whispered praises and kind words into your hair, kissing you softly and taking you out for one of your favourite dates that you’d ever been on.
Well you definitely thought nothing could beat it at the time but that’s a memory for later.
“I am so proud of you, sweetheart.” Dean whispered as he held you to his chest were you’d sagged out of shock. You were a hard worker but never once did you think you’d be the best in your classes at Stanford!
Dean had told you he was taking you out to the new restaurant that had opened not too far from your home. You were beyond excited as you slipped on one of your nicest outfits.
“You look gorgeous.” Dean said as he came into the bedroom, sliding his arms around your waist.
“Yeah?” You said turning around in his hold, looking him up and down. “Don’t look too bad yourself, sugar.” He grinned down at you before pulling you in for a soft kiss.
“You ready?” He asked and you nodded, kissing him once more before letting him pull you out of the apartment and towards the car.
There was one night you remember clearer than most. You’d been rejected for yet another job, hating the one you were at now but having to persevere until another opportunity came along.
You walked through the door before closing it and just leaning against it, letting your head fall back with a loud thud. Tears that you desperately didn’t want to fall welled up in your eyes as Dean popped his head around the living room door.
“Another rough day?” He asked you, sympathy clear in his eyes.
You just nodded tiredly from where you were. Dean sighed before standing up and walking over to you, taking you into his arms and kissing your forehead softly.
“C’mere baby, I got something that’ll cheer you up.” He told you causing you to look up at him questioningly. His only response was to kiss you before pulling you into the living room, stopping when you paused in the hallway.
The room was covered in blankets and throws, fairy lights were visible from the outside and there was a small opening being held by a pillow in which you could see the TV on with your favourite film ready to play and your favourite comfort food lay waiting for you.
“Dean.” You choked out, a few tears leaving your eyes as you turned to look at him.
“I thought you could use a break.” He told you quietly. You quickly threw yours arms around his neck, standing slightly on your toes to do so. Dean smiled brightly as he rested his head on yours before prompting you into the fort.
You two spent the rest of the night watching each others favourite films again, laughing and smiling the entire time.
It had taken awhile but both you and Dean were finally doing what you loved. You had somehow landed your dream job when you ended up at a party for your old job and accidentally met the boss, wowing him with your knowledge. Dean was working as a mechanic working on vintage cars, it would be a few years but eventually the boss would hand the business over to his best employee.
The best date came after the two of you had moved into a house together, leaving behind the apartment that had become your home and into an actual house. Dean had told you to meet him at the park at six pm, the park was quiet anyway but by then it was practically empty. You dressed appropriately as the autumn chill set in and made your way down to meet Dean.
You gasped as you took in the fairy lights hung from the tress and the picnic basket that Dean was sat next to. Upon hearing your gasp Dean looked up and smiled at you.
“Y/N!” He beamed, standing up and kissing you in greeting.
“Hi baby, what’s this?” You asked as he led you to the blanket. You both sat and Dean started laying food out for the two of you.
“Am I not allowed to take the girl I love out on a date?” He asked sarcastically with a grin.
The two of you laughed. The food was ate but you noticed over the course of the meal Dean had become more nervous. Once you were finished you couldn’t help but ask if everything was alright.
“Yeah, everything’s perfect.” He told you as he wiped his hands on his pants. “It’s just, I love you. We’ve been together for eight years, you’ve been there to help me at Stanford, sat with me when I felt like the world was going to swallow me up and honestly, baby, I can’t imagine the rest of my life without you. I try and it’s just impossible. I love you so much and well I guess what I’m trying to say, or well ask, is will you marry me?”
You were shocked speechless for a moment or two before Dean prompted you to speak.
Tackling him to the floor from your seated position you let tears of joy roll down your face as you chanted ‘yes.’ You heard Dean laughing, felt his own tears fall down his face before he pulled you back enough to were he could see you.
“Is that a yes that?” He asked, smiling cheekily despite the tears.
“Yes, you idiot.” You laughed, pulling him into a deep kiss.
“Hey Y/N, you ready to leave?” You heard your fiancé call out as he walked into the house.
“Come help me please?” You yelled back at him from upstairs. Dean smiled as he followed the sound of your voice, raising an eyebrow as he saw you sat on top of a suite case trying to zip it shut.
“Y/N, we’re going for a weekend!” Dean laughed as he pulled you up off the suitcase.
“And?” You asked. Kissing him in greeting before looking back towards the case.
“And do you really need all this stuff?” You looked up and saw him glancing at your case and the overnight bag.
“Yes, I do, now are you going to help me shut it or are you going to question me?”
“Both.” He laughed. It took more tries than either of you were bothered to count but eventually the case was closed and the two of you were in Dean’s car and on your way to Stars Hollow.
It was a long drive but finally the two of you pulled up at Dean’s parents house. Greetings were gave but it wasn’t long before everyone retired to bed, the drive exhausting both of you.
You and Dean were cuddled up in his childhood bed, tucked close together whispering quiet words between you and it wasn’t long until you both drifted off to sleep.

Dean had left to go to the store and you had taken the opportunity to go to Luke’s. Memories bombarded you as you walked through the door and you couldn’t help but smile at them all, from agreeing to fake date Dean to arguing with Jess.
“Y/N!” Luke greeted as you walked to the counter.
“Hi Luke.” You smiled and watched his eyes flicker to the ring on your finger that definitely wasn’t there during your last visit.
“So, he finally asked, huh?” Was all Luke said. You never noticed Lorelai sitting a few seats down at the counter looking over in interest.
“He finally asked.” You confirmed, Luke smiling at the love struck look on your face.
“Good, bout time he popped that question. Know any details yet?” He asked sliding your drinks over.
“Thanks. And no, honestly work has been stressful, the last thing I want to do is plan a wedding.” You groaned the smile never leaving your face.
“Yeah, can’t say I blame you.” Luke chuckled before excusing himself to see to another customer.
“Congratulations.” You looked in surprise to see Lorelai smiling softly at you.
“Oh, thank you.” You smiled back.
“Can I see it?” She asked gesturing to the ring and you showed her. The two of you immediately going into how Dean had asked and gushing over it, Luke smiling over at the girl he’d known since she was as tall as his knees.

Dean rounded the corner not paying much attention as he did before he crashed into somebody. He quickly reached out to steady them.
“Oh sorry.” He heard the voice of the girl who he hadn’t seen for years. Since they’d both left for college it was rare for them to be in Stars Hollow at the same time.
“Hey.” He greeted as he took in Rory, the pair hugging as Rory told him how good it was to see him.
“What are you doing in Stars Hollow?” She asked him.
“I’m just visiting my parents for the weekend.” He smiled.
“That’s nice.”
“It’s very nice,” Dean began “we’re actually here because Y/N and I got engaged.” He told her with the same grin he’d always had when talking about you.
“You’re engaged? Dean, congratulations, I’m so happy for you.” She exclaimed, drawing him in for another hug.
“Yeah, thank you.” He laughed.
“How is Y/N?”
“She’s great, she got the job she’s wanted for so long. They’re thinking of promoting her again and yeah, she’s, she’s really amazing.” Dean told her.
“I’m really happy for you, Dean.” The pair smiled at each other for a moment before speaking about the rest of their family, Rory asking about Clara and Dean asking about Lorelai.
“It’s her first love, it’ll probably…” Rory trailed off and the two stood in an awkward silence for less than a moment before Dean spoke.
“Yeah, I know.” Despite the awkwardness he still smiled at her. She was his first love after all and without her who knows where he and Y/N would be now.
“How’re you doing?” Dean asked, not wanting to dwell on the past.
“Me?” She asked, not waiting for an answer, “I’m doing ok.”
“Just ok?” Dean asked, concern in his voice.
“Well things are changing for me at the moment, I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m writing a book.” She announced.
“Well, you’ve read em all so what else you gonna do?” He asked with a chuckle.
“It’s actually about my mom and me and our life.” She nodded at Dean’s questioning response.
“Can I put you in it?” Rory asked. Dean looked confused for a moment, not knowing how to respond.
“Um…” He trailed off and Rory cut in before he could make a decision.
“I mean I’m changing the name to protect the guilty but you’d know it’s you.” She spoke, hoping the man she had once loved would agree.
“Uhm, I uh, I don’t know. What’re you gonna say?” He asked her, not shutting the idea down straight away but not fully loving the idea. Who knows what Rory could write about him.
“That you were the greatest boyfriend alive.” Was the first thing you heard Rory say as you walked into Doose’s with two take out cups, you could see Dean from over the shelves and debated joining them before deciding it was best to just let them talk. She wasn’t wrong about Dean being the greatest boyfriend though, she just hadn’t appreciated it enough at the time, not that you were complaining, you thought looking down at the ring on your finger before pressing your hand to your stomach.
“That you were um, generous and protective and kind and strong and as much as I wish we'd met when I was older and more mature, I know that if I hadn't had you with met when I did I wouldn’t be the person I am today. That you taught me what safe feels like.” Rory’s words were honest and you found yourself relating, safe was wherever Dean was, home was wherever Dean was.
“Ok.” Was Dean’s only response and though you wanted to go to him you knew he needed this.
“And that you had a disturbing obsession with Lord of the Rings-” Boy did you know that all too well, “that you did a terrible Sméagol impression…” Here she was cut off by a laughing Dean, in his defence the impression had gotten slightly better over the years.
“It was not terrible. It was pretty damn good. There were hand gestures.” Like you said, only slightly better.
“I know, I remember. I remember it all really well.” She laughed with him.
“Good luck with the book.” Dean told her softly.
“Thank you.”
“Dean!” She called. “Corn-starch.”
“Pay for it this time.” Dean chuckled before turning away and spotting you. You smiled at him and held a cup in his direction.
“Hey.” He kissed you in greeting and the two of you headed to the gazebo before taking a seat on the steps.
“She’s writing a book?” You confirmed.
“A book.” Dean nodded, playing with the cup in his hands.
“Well she got one thing right. You are the best boyfriend alive.” You laughed, Dean quickly leaning over and kissing you.
“So you want some news?” You asked staring ahead as the two of you stood up.
“News?” Dean asked in confusion. You turned to look at him, smiling nervously and playing with one of his hands.
“You’re gonna be a dad.” It took a few moments for the words to sink in before a grin broke out on the mans face. He took you into his arms and spun you around before placing you down and cupping your face with one hand.
“You’re pregnant?” He asked.
“I’m pregnant.” You confirmed and he pulled you in for a kiss, deepening it quickly. You wrapped you arms around his neck and when the two of you pulled back panting and grinning, you knew this was it, you couldn’t think of any other way you wanted to spend your lives.

Prompts - Can you do a fluffy Dean Forester x reader?
You let out a sigh as you collapsed into a chair at Luke’s. The entire day had just gone from bad to worse in a matter of hours, starting with your alarm not going off causing you to over sleep and then a fight with your parents that caused you to storm out without the books you needed and then you’d received not one but two surprise tests that would affect your overall grade and you had just known you’d done terrible in. Then at lunch there was the regular high school drama that you had somehow been dragged in to before you could get away to the library and your class just before lunch had announced there would be a group assignment. Those were the worst, you ended up taking control and doing the entire assignment alone and putting the others names on it otherwise you knew without a doubt your grades would plummet.
You were glad to get a few moments alone and sat with your head in your arms for a second before sitting up straight.
“Rough day?” A gruff voice asked.
“Understatement.” You sighed, looking up at Luke who wore a sympathetic look.
“The regular then?” He asked and you nodded, thanking him as he walked away.
Being in Luke’s had always managed to calm you down, the atmosphere of the place worked to soothe your anxiety and troubles and in here with the smell of food, coffee, tea and hot chocolate you could forget about the world beyond those doors.
“On the house.” Luke said, a hint of a smile on his face, as he set your regular drink down and a muffin which you hadn’t ordered. You told him as much.
“Yeah, well, you look like you could use it.” He said before walking off.
“Thank you!” You called to him but he just waved a tea towel in your direction.
You had managed to drink half your drink and eat your muffin in peace before you were interrupted by a tall kid. You recognised him as the new kid from Chicago but couldn’t place his name, though you had heard about how supposedly dreamy he was from most girls in school.
“Um, hi.” He said as he approached your table hesitantly.
“Hi?” You asked, looking up at him.
You could see what all those girls had meant when they called him dreamy. He was the perfect poster boy for a high school crush, tall, fit, probably played sport. The hair looked perfect for running your fingers through and his smile made him look adorable.
“I’m Dean.” He introduced himself, taking a step closer. “I missed class today but I stopped by after school to get the work and Miss Collins told me that we’re partners for an assignment.” You barely held in your sigh, the entire day had been exhausting and now you had to talk about this assignment rather than do what you wanted to do which was sit alone in Luke’s for half an hour more before going home and collapsing in to bed. Instead of doing any of that though, you smiled and gestured to the seat across from you.
“I’m Y/N.” You introduced yourself as he sat down and beamed at you. Even you had to admit it was a pretty smile. “So, I already made a plan up for what we could do but I’m open to suggestions.” You lied. You had spent your break in the library once you finished up in the cafeteria and made a plan for yourself, believing that your group partner would bail on you.
You watched as Dean read over your work, eyes scanning every bit of the page before he looked back up at you.
“This is great.” He told you, “You pick whatever bits you’re happy to do and I’ll take the rest.” Dean told you causing your eyebrows to shoot up. Never in your many years in the education system had someone actually offered to do the work with you, by now you had a reputation of taking over so much so that people wanted to work with you just so they could slack off. “I’m guessing not a lot of people make that offer.” Dean prompted with a laugh.
“The complete opposite actually, they tend to expect me to do the work, which I do because I care about my grades and college is important to me.” You told him, causing him to nod.
The two of you sat together and went over the schedule you had produced, going through who wanted to take each sub topic and dividing the work amongst you. Luke had stopped by to swap out your cold drink for a new one and gave Dean a coffee.
Eventually Dean had to excuse himself as he had work. Your eyes widened as you realised, you’d been sat there for an hour and a half, the schedule long complete and the two of you moving on to talk that was not school related. The two of you had gotten to know each other, you knew he had a sister and why they had moved to small town Stars Hollow, he knew you couldn’t wait to leave and go to college, though you would miss Luke’s. You spoke of your favourite shows, books and music without realising how much time had passed.
“I liked hanging out with you, Y/N.” And the way he said your name made you smile softly in a way you couldn’t recall doing before.
“Me too.” You told him and meant it. It had been a while since you had actually enjoyed spending time with someone your age, finding most of them too immature or too concerned with their image. You liked to be by yourself but something about Dean made you want to spend more time with him.
“Maybe we can meet here tomorrow after school?” He asked shyly, reaching up to brush his hair behind his ear causing your smile to grow.
“Yeah, that’d be good.” You told him, concerned by how true those words were.
The two of you said your goodbyes and you watched as he walked out of Luke’s. Identical smiles playing on both your faces.
“Seriously, that guy?” You jumped when you heard Luke snort from next to you as he began cleaning the cups away and you scooped your papers into your bag.
“What do you mean that guy?” You asked with an eye roll, “There is no that guy, we’re partners on an assignment.” You told him as you stood up, swinging your bag onto your shoulder.
“Whatever you say, kid.” Luke laughed as you left throwing a goodbye over your shoulder.

And so it went with you and Dean meeting each other after school. The meetings went from every other day to finish the assignment, though admittedly that got pushed to the side after an hour of work and the two of you ended up talking about one another, to daily occurrences. The two of you would meet up after school and walk over to Luke’s to enjoy each other’s company. The two of you sat in there for hours and if it wasn’t for Dean’s shift at the market or your shift at Luke’s where you actually had to work and ‘not sit and talk to the pretty boy’ according to Luke, then the two of you would’ve stayed there for the whole night.
At some point you started spending time at Dean’s house and him at yours. The two of you had movie nights and were content to relax in each other’s company, either enjoying the peaceful silence or asking five hundred questions as the movies played, forgotten in the background.
“This is so bad; how do you watch it?” You laughed as you leaned against him. The two of you were laying on his bed as he played some movie you’d long forgotten the name off. All you knew was there were badly edited monsters and a whole lot of goo.
“What are you talking about?” He exclaimed with a grin, “This is a masterpiece!”
“Dean, I can see the microphone in the corner of the screen and I’m pretty sure that’s a stick that is moving the monster in the other corner.” You continued to laugh as he shoved you and grumbled under his breath.
“Fine, fine.” He said, stretching until he grabbed the remote and handed it to you. “You pick something but please God do not put another film like the one you had on the other day.” He begged you with his puppy dog eyes.
“First of all, that was a classic and I’m shocked you’ve never seen it.” You said as you pointed the remote at him causing him to grin. “Secondly, shush.”
You quickly put on a random movie, both of you admitting you hadn’t seen it before. Dean lay down slightly, shifting as he got comfortable, and you didn’t hesitate before laying your head on his chest and cuddling close to him.
“Hey.” He whispered half way through the movie. The two of you were laying fully on the bed now, rather than just reclined, and the room was dark, the only light coming from the tv.
“Hey.” You whispered back, watching as he lifted a hand to your face and felt as he brushed a strand of your hair away.
“Y/N, I really like you.” Dean confessed into the darkness. You could see him biting his lip, his eyes wide as he resembled a puppy, nervously awaiting your response.
You smiled and lifted your hand to rest on the one that was cupping your cheek. You felt him tense and then relax and your hand didn’t push his away.
“I really like you too.” You admitted, butterflies dancing madly in your stomach. You watched as Dean’s face lit up, a smile playing on his lips before he leaned forward. You leaned in too but stopped when he did.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked in a whisper and all you could do was nod before he brought your lips together in a soft kiss.
It was your first, but definitely not the last for that night, kiss. It felt like all the clichés rolled together, fireworks, butterflies, nobody else in the world, all of them described the kiss perfectly.
“Will you please be my girlfriend?” He asked as he played with your hair, bringing you in for another kiss. You managed to breath a ‘yes’ out before he kissed you again and again.
That night the two of you fell asleep with wide smiles and bruised lips.

You and Dean walked into Luke’s the next afternoon just after school had finished hand in hand with matching smiles. As you entered Luke looked between your locked hands and rolled his eyes at both of you as you sat at the counter.
“So, you two finally realised you’ve been dating for months?” Luke asked as he started on your drinks. You rolled your eyes and Dean laughed and wrapped an arm around your shoulders.
“Yeah, I guess we did.” He answered before leaning down to kiss you.
“Hey, no kissing at the counter.” Luke interrupted as he turned around to give you your drinks causing you to laugh against Dean.
“Technically that’s not a rule.” You said pointing to his list of rules with a smirk.
You watched as Luke scowled at you but you could see the hint of happiness behind it.
“I say it’s a rule, it’s a rule.” He told you, pointing a finger at you causing you to raise your hands in surrender.
“No kissing at the counter.” You agreed with a laugh.
You and Dean stayed at the counter for an hour, laughing and talking before Dean had to go to work. Since tomorrow was Saturday the two of you decided it was the perfect time for a first date, though apparently it wasn’t technically the first as you had both been dating for months before realising. Dean told you he’d pick you up tomorrow at 12 before giving you a kiss and leaving.
“No kissing at the counter!” You and Luke shouted at the same time causing Dean to laugh his way out of the door.
You watched as he left with a smile on your face before turning to Luke who was smiling at you.
“I’m happy for you, kid.” He told you honestly.
“Thank you.” You smiled before getting up to get ready for work, already thinking about what Dean had planned for tomorrow.

Requested - Yes - @halesandy - Hi! Read all of your works in your masterlist and couldn't stop myself from asking #143 with Jared Padalecki or Sam Winchester. Could you please write it?) Thank you in advance and have a nice day ⭐ Thank you for reading my work, I hope you enjoy this!
Prompts - 143 - “Didn’t you two used to hate each other?” “Yeah, but now we hold hands and shit!”
You had only been working on the set of Supernatural for a year and whilst you loved it, there were somethings you wished you could change. Like the fact that your character, Violet, was in a relationship with Jared’s character, Sam. During your first season your two characters danced around each other, both finding each other attractive from their first meeting were Sam saved her from a nest of vampires after she was captured by them. Your character was a hunter and quickly joined forces with Sam and Dean.
You sat in your house and read over the scripts that had been sent over, groaning in dismay as you did. The first episode was fairly boring in the way of Violet and Sam’s romance but by episode three you were both to confess your feelings in a life or death situation, only for the awkwardness to start up when you all lived. There were kissing scenes too, quite a lot of them.
Since your first day on set you and Jared did not get along. You clicked straight away with Jensen and became great friends with him, you would have much preferred for your character to be dating Dean but alas things didn’t always work in your favour. It took some time before you and Misha actually became friends, though you two were friendly enough to each other on set but now the two of you hung out together when you weren’t filming. Jared Padalecki, however, was someone you were just about civil with. The same went for him, though he tries to keep up a friendly appearance whenever a camera or fan is around, the two of you hardly speak to each other and if you do it isn’t exactly friendly.
Sometimes you see Jared completely relaxed and at ease, goofing around with the other men on set and can’t help but yearn for that friendship, it would certainly make things a lot easier on set but you never tried to change the dynamic between you.
Shooting this season was going to be great.

“Late on the first day, Y/L/N.” Was the first thing you heard as you practically fell through the hair and makeup trailers door. You let out an annoyed sigh before collapsing into your chair, smiling gratefully at the PA who handed you a drink.
“Bite me, Padalecki.” You shot back before taking a sip of your drink, relaxing ever so slightly.
“Come on now, Y/N. This season is going to be great; I mean what’s better than our romance finally blossoming.” Jared laughed as he watched you roll your eyes.
Besides Jared’s early morning annoyances throughout the duration of your hair and makeup prep, it was actually really great to be back on set and before long you were walking towards the set ready to start shooting.
“Y/N.” You heard someone call and turned around to seeing Jensen jogging towards you.
“Hey!” You greeted him happily, hugging him back as he pulled you into his chest.
“How was your break?” He asked as the two of you continued on your way to set, exchanging stories from your break. Just as you were about to step into the room Jensen placed a hand on your forearm, stopping you in place. You frowned up at him in confusion.
“Listen, I know you and Jared don’t exactly get on,” He started but was cut off by you snorting.
“Understatement.” You laughed.
“I know you don’t get on,” Jensen repeated, rolling his eyes but smiling fondly, “But I just wanted to make sure you were going to be ok this season, you’re going to be working with him more than anyone.”
“I hope you gave him the same talk.” You mumbled. “But I’m a professional, this is my job and I’m not going to let my feelings get in the way of that. Trust me, I’m good.” You reassured him. You knew how many people watched this show, how they could pick up on any real-life tension that managed to sneak into the show. You could push your feelings to the side for them.
“I did give him the same talk, just so you know.” He said as the two of you entered the room.
“Good.” Was all you said before making your way over to the director who called you.

“They don’t know Violet.” Castiel murmured quietly, but in the already silent room he may as well of shouted it. You felt a coldness seep through your bones as you shivered. Sam immediately took notice and rested his hand on top of yours.
The four of you were sat in a diner trying to figure out how to deal with some demons who had information but were not willing to deal with Winchesters any more, no matter what the boys offered in return.
“No way, Cas.” Sam said, squeezing your hand. “It’s not safe.”
“I can deal with demons.” You defended, pulling your hand out from under Sam. “I’ll do it.” You said to Dean instead.
“I know you can deal with demons, Vi, but this is too dangerous. They know you’re important to us and if they have you, well, whatever they want from us they’ll have.” Sam explained, looking at you with those puppy dog eyes.
“The way I see it you have two options. One; send me in, they don’t know me, or two; we sit around with our thumbs up our arse whilst the demons and Lucifer continue on with their plan.” You told them, anger dripping from your tone.
“If Lucifer gets a hold of you, Vi…” Sam began but trailed off with haunted eyes. “It’s a risk we aren’t taking. I’m sorry but there has to be another way.” Sam pleaded as he held your hand again.
“And cut!” The director yelled, “Perfect guys, good job.”
You were quick to pull your hand away from Jared causing him to laugh, he threw his arm behind you to rest on the booth.
“Seriously, if holding my hand is so bad, wait until we kiss.” You rolled your eyes as you left the booth, heading over to the table that held food and bottles of water.
You loved working on Supernatural but sometimes it could be draining.

The first two episodes were wrapped up and it had gone relatively smoothly, a few arguments here and there between Jared and yourself but nothing that wasn’t solved by a small break. However, today was the day were you and Jared were filming your love confession scene and it was already going terribly.
An hour in and twelve takes later you still had no usable footage.
Violet jumped as a hand grabbed hers, whipping round only to relax as she saw Sam in front of her with a blade. She let herself give a quiet sigh of relief as she looked up at the man.
“Vi,” Sam whispered, looking just as bloody and bad as you did, “we can’t get out, we need a plan.”
The two of you surveyed the room, trying to see if there was anything, anything at all, that could get you out of the small, dark room. However, there was little in there, a raggedy blanket, a few empty bottles and some rotten food.
It was hopeless, you were going to die.
“Hey, hey, look at me.” Sam said as he saw your panic, taking your face into his hands. “You’re gonna be ok, we’re gonna get out.”
“Cut!” The director yelled a fifteenth time, causing you to groan and push Jared away. “It’s too stale guys! I know you have your differences but you gotta work together here. Take a break, let’s get Jensen and Misha in here and film them.” The director said to the room before turning to you and Jared again. “Take a break together, see if you can fix this.” He said before walking away.
“He’s right.” Was all you could say, you knew your acting was stoic, no matter how hard you tried there was something about Jared. The same went for Jared, he was a great actor but when it came to you it was terrible.
“I know.” Jared agreed with you, before continuing, “C’mon, we can go to my trailer and work something out.”

You were sitting in Jared’s trailer anxiously tugging on your sleeve as Jared sat next to you silently. The two of you had no idea where to start, not really able to pinpoint exactly when things had gotten so bad that you couldn’t act together.
“I don’t know why you hate me so much,” Jared began but didn’t get very far as you cut him off immediately, eyes wide in shock.
“Seriously?” You asked, voice soft, “You’re the one who was cold towards me, sure we never really clicked but you acted like I wasn’t even onset until the director yelled action. I followed your lead.” You told him truthfully. Sure, you hadn’t gotten along straight away but it was Jared who started the arguments, it was Jared who acted like you didn’t exist.
“That’s not what happened and you know it.” He argued, though there was no heat to his words.
“Yes, it was, I know we didn’t hit it off instantly but you shot down anything chance of us getting along.” You shot back, refusing to look at him and instead stared straight ahead.
“I only started the comments as a way to ease whatever tension was between us. It was meant to be a joke but when it wasn’t taken as one, I just left it but you shot back and then it spiralled.” He sighed, knowing he’d messed up.
“We’re idiots.” You laughed but there was no humour to it.
“We are.” Jared agreed.
The two of you spoke for a little longer, trying to erase a years’ worth of hurtful comments and arguments. It obviously wasn’t going to be solved with one conversation but it was a start. At some point Jared suggested you two rehearsed and so you did, rehearsing until the PA called you back onto set.

You woke up in a dark room, head aching as you tried to look around. You could see nothing of importance in the room and the door was too far away for you whilst your leg was hurt, you were sure you felt blood gushing from it.
You let out a quiet groan, letting your head hit the wall only to let out a hiss of pain as it came into contact. You nearly yelled as you felt something grab your hand, jumping as you tried to pull it back.
“Vi, hey, relax it’s me.” Sam said, his voice soft, barely above a whisper, causing you to relax ever so slightly. “There’s no way out, no windows, locked door.” He informed you causing your panic to flare up but Sam was there straight away, kneeling in front of you and cupping your face into his hand. You couldn’t help but tilt your head into his touch causing him to smile slightly. “We’re going to get out, I promise, you’ll be ok.”
“How?” You croaked; voice hoarse from shouting earlier. “You said it yourself, there’s no way out and they took our weapons. We’re screwed.” You felt Sam’s thumb brushing soothingly against your cheek, causing you to relax despite the panic building up.
The two of you stayed silent as you heard the floorboards creek from outside, holding your breath until the steps passed the door and continued down the hallway.
“What about Cas?” You asked hopefully but frowned as Sam shook his head.
“I’ve tried praying but,” Sam trailed off, glancing around the room to emphasis the lack of angel there.
“So what? We sit here and wait to die?” You snapped as panic coursed through your veins.
“No, we wait for someone to open the door and we fight our way out.” Sam said but he didn’t sound so sure about the plan.
“I don’t know if you noticed but I was stabbed in the leg.” You reminded him causing him to curse and pull his hand away from your face so he could examine your leg. It wasn’t too deep but you had definitely lost a fair bit of blood.
You watched as Sam ripped a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around your wound, frowning as he did so.
You both froze again as you heard the sound of the door being unlocked. A demon in a black suit walking in with a cocky look on his face.
“Let her go!” Sam barked before the demon could open its mouth.
“Temper, temper.” It purred, walking over to the two of you. “But why would we let her go when she’s the one we want?”
“She has nothing to do with this! Lucifer wants me!” Sam positioned himself in front of you protectively and as much as you appreciated it you knew it would do little to hold the demon off if it wanted you.
“Are you going to say yes to him?” It asked, voice full of humour. “Didn’t think so. But because we’re oh so nice, we’ll give you a choice.”
“Oh yeah, bite me.” Sam snapped.
“Ah, ah, now don’t tempt me.” It sang. “Either say yes to Lucifer or we get the girl and she looks delicious.” It said, looking at you and licking its lips as it shivered in pleasure at the thoughts running through its mind.
“You’re not getting her and I’m not saying yes.” The demon just looked pleased as Sam protested.
“Say your goodbyes.” It cackled before leaving the room, smirking at you as it did.
“Sam,” You called, getting his attention, he was immediately facing you. “Let them have me, do not say yes. Promise me Sam!” You begged as tears clouded your vision.
“Vi,” He whispered brokenly, his own tears falling down his face as he looked at you with those puppy dog eyes.
“Promise me, Sam, you have to promise me you won’t say yes.”
“I promise, Vi. I’ll get you back. There’s so many things I wanted to tell you but nothing more than I love you, Violet, so damn much and I’m going to get you back.” He swore, voice hard even as the tears flowed.
“I love you too.” You cried, your own tears falling uncontrollably down your face. “I love you so much, I know you’ll get me but don’t do anything stupid.”
Before Sam could reply there were demons in the room and you were flashed out of the room, getting one last look at the man you loved.
“And cut!” The director yelled and you could hear the grin in his voice. “That was perfect, you two were great, keep up the good work.” He praised before wondering off.
You wiped your eyes from where you sat on the floor before you saw a hand come into view and saw Jared offering it to you. You let the man pull you up and smiled as he brushed away your tears.
“You ok?” He asked, feeling the effects of the scene himself. You nodded at him, smiling softly. “Good. He was right, you know, you were great.”
“Thank you, you weren’t so bad yourself.” You smirked at him, causing him to roll his eyes and smile back at you.
“C’mon, we could both use some water.”

From then on filming the rest of the season was a breeze. Jared and you still argued and picked fights with each other but it was all in good nature now. Being on set was much more enjoyable and your acting had improved greatly now that you actually got along with your scene partner.
However, at some point you realised that maybe you had started getting on too well with Jared as you noticed yourself feeling giddy around him, blushing and just wanting to generally be with him whenever you could. You felt like you were back in high school with a crush. Sometimes you missed the times when you thought you hated the man.
It was getting harder to control too, especially since you had to kiss the man on an almost daily basis, several dozen times a day. God, could that man kiss.
The two of you hung out more together on set, though kept it to yourselves mostly. Sometimes you’d rehearse, sometimes you’d have dinner together and sometimes, like now, you’d find yourself cuddled into his chest as a movie played on the tv in front of you, though you had to admit you weren’t paying much attention to the movie but more so on the hand that absentmindedly played with your hair.
Sometimes it was like Jared knew and he was just playing with you. You knew he wasn’t and that you were just paranoid but between the soft smiles you traded and the peaceful nights spent like this, it was heart-breaking but you knew you wouldn’t put a stop to it. If this was the only way you could have him, then you’d take it.

“Hey, can we talk?” Jared asked as he jogged up to you after a long, draining day of filming. The words filled you with dread but a bigger part of you just wanted to collapse on the nearest bed.
“Sure.” You agreed tiredly, suppressing a yawn, causing Jared to smile softly at you.
“C’mon, my trailer’s closer.” It didn’t take long for the two of you to arrive at Jared’s trailer where he quickly made drinks and the two of you practically fell into the sofa.
“So, what’s up?” You said after a few minutes of sitting silently on the sofa, watching a Jared fidgeted with the mug in his hand.
“Right.” He began, clearing his throat and shifting so he was sitting with one leg crossed underneath him so that he could face you properly. “It’s just that, I mean, we’re getting along with each other now and I guess, well I mean I knew even when we didn’t get along but still…” Jared continued to ramble as you struggled to make sense of his words.
“Jared.” You interrupted softly, “what’s going on?” You asked in confusion, watching as Jared shook his head before taking a deep breath.
“I like you. I have for a while now, even when we didn’t get along. There’s always been something about you and I’m fine if you’d rather just be friends but I thought you should know.” Jared quickly explained, you just about made out the fast-spoken words but once you did you let out a small, shocked laugh that had Jared’s face falling so you quickly explained.
“Wait, no, I like you too!” You exclaimed. “I just thought with all our history that you’d never like me and I’d accepted that. Sorry, I’m just shocked.” You laughed as Jared let out a sigh of relief.
“So, does this mean I can take you out on a date?” He asked with a large smile that was contagious.
“It does.” You grinned and the two of you stayed on the couch talking for most of the night. The two of you agreed just to keep this to yourselves, not wanting to disrupt the cast or the flow of filming if this didn’t work out.
You woke up the next morning with a sore neck, leaning against Jared.

You and Jared had been on several dates and everything was going great. You decided to wait until for a month or two before telling people but that went out of the window when the two of you were in Jared’s trailer one day after shooting.
The two of you only had a few scenes you needed to shoot that day and had gotten everything wrapped in just a few hours, whereas Misha and Jensen had a later start so wouldn’t be done for a few more hours at most. You and Jared had taken that time to go back to his trailer and watch a movie. At some movie watching turned into completely ignoring the screen in favour of making out with each other, losing track of time.
Neither of you heard the knock or the trailer door opening but you did hear Jensen’s voice, as he looked at the two of you with a raised eyebrow.
You and Jared quickly pulled away from each other, putting space between the two of you as you both looked up at Jensen with sheepish smiles.
“Didn’t you two used to hate each other?” He asked but didn’t sound too shocked.
“Yeah, but now we hold hands and shit!” Jared laughed, causing both you and Jensen to roll your eyes.
“Sure, whatever makes you two happy,” Jensen grinned as he slapped Jared’s shoulder. “There’s a group of us going out, are you two coming?”
The three of you left the trailer and Jared and you decided to just enjoy each other’s company in public too, you were both happy and even if something didn’t end up working out you were professionals.

“I don’t know what’s worse,” Misha laughed into the microphone, “being onset with Jared and Y/N now or when they didn’t get along.”
“Definitely now.” Jensen answered with an eye roll causing you to giggle and lean into Jared, who had an arm wrapped around you. “At least when they hated each other they stormed away from each other, now they’re joined at the hip. I mean look at them.” He continued causing the crowd to erupt into screams and cheers.
You and Jared had been dating for a year, six months in you announced it on social media and now conventions were a lot easier when you didn’t have to pretend you weren’t dating Jared. Still being relatively new to these conventions, it was nice to have Jared with you to sooth any anxiety you got. He was more than happy to find a quiet place and sit with you.
A year into it, your relationship was great, sure you two still argued but it was all done with love. None of those hurtful words that were thrown around when you first met. Sometimes working with your boyfriend was a lot, seeing him all day and then going back to the trailers but you’d both worked through it and now it was great. You had moved in with each other in Texas when you weren’t shooting and you loved living down there.
As you looked at Jared, who was jokingly defending your relationship, you couldn’t help but smile at him. Who would have thought the man you once hated would turn out to be the man you loved?

Requested - Yes - Anon - can you do a Dean x reader getting together fic with prompts 54, 178, 76 and 200? Thanks.
Prompts - 54 - “Magic always comes with a price.” 178 - “Normally I wouldn’t be caught dead making a deal with you yet here we are…” 76 - “This place gives me the creeps.” 200 - “You’re in love with her.”
The hunt was going as well as it could be considering you three were dealing with a witch. You liked them as much as Dean did, they gave you the creeps but this one was killing men. You’d yet to find a motive but all the men had something in common, they were all in love with somebody but hadn’t confessed their feelings to the person. You figured out the connection when you’d spoken to a best friend of the victim and then another girl who claimed she knew the second victim loved her but he never made a move. You just couldn’t figure out why she was killing them.
It was a few days in when the three of you finally managed to find the witches home, a small cabin in the woods. It was the definition of creepy killer and you straightened up as you approached the house. The three of you snuck in after Dean had gotten the door open, the house was in darkness so you assumed it was empty.
“This place gives me the creeps.” You said quietly into the room as you picked up a skull you were sure belonged to a human at some point.
“Yeah, you and me both.” Dean muttered as he took the skull from you and placed it down. “Don’t touch anything, just in case.” He told you.
You had joined the Winchester’s just over two years ago and couldn’t deny your feelings for the older Winchester. The two of you flirted constantly but nothing more came from it so you kept your feelings to yourself, not wanting to ruin the family you had found with Sam, Dean and Cas.
The witch didn’t even announce herself, didn’t start monologue like most did, instead she murmured a few words that drew your attention to her but before any of you could raise your gun, she had shot her own spell and vanished.
“Fuck!” You yelled as you lowered your arm. “We had her!”
“Y/N,” You heard Sam whisper, his voice thick with emotion. You turned around to look at him in confusion before following his gaze to see Dean on the floor, unnaturally still.
“Dean.” You called, not moving as you prayed to all those dicks in heaven that he wasn’t dead. You took a deep breath moving closer, not looking away from him as you placed your hand on his neck, trying desperately to find a pulse. “Dean.” You said again, your own voice thick now as you tried to hold back the tears.
You let out a gasp of relief when you felt a pulse, faint as it may have been, he was alive.
“The witches spell keeps them alive for a day, Y/N.” Sam told you making his way over to you and Dean.
“What makes you think it’s the same spell?” You asked in confusion, “That spell only works on people in love with someone and that’s not Dean.”
You watched as Sam gave you those wide eyes, like he was desperate to talk but couldn’t.
“Trust me, it’s the same spell. We have a day to solve this, Y/N/N.” Sam told you urgently, desperate to save his brother. He wasn’t even sure Dean knew he was in love with you but the fact that the spell worked only confirmed what Sam had already known. He watched as your face crumbled upon hearing that Dean was in love, if only the two of you just talked.

You and Sam had both been awake for 19 hours trying desperately to find anything that would help Dean. The two of you knew how this would end if you didn’t and you couldn’t lose Dean.
You were skimming through a book though you knew it was useless, neither of you had any idea what the witch had used in her spell so there was no way to counteract it. You were running out of options when a thought entered your mind, a thought you knew could easily get you killed.
“Where are you going?” Sam asked as you through your coat on and headed for the door.
“Potential lead,” You told him, “Stay with Dean and keep looking in case this doesn’t pan out.”
And with that you went back to the witches’ house. It was a long shot, the chances of her being there were slim to none, not after you’d discovered where she lived, but you were pleasantly surprised to see the lights out and smoke rising from the chimney as you pulled up in front of the house.
“Hello dearie,” The witch beamed as you stepped into the house, gun aimed at her steadily, “So sorry about your loss.” She cackled causing you to shoot your gun, aiming above her head causing her to lose the grin.
“Fix him.” You demanded, your gaze was hard and your words were cold.
“Um, nope, don’t think I will.” She told you, smirking as she did. You felt yourself shake with anger and you grounded yourself as best you could. You couldn’t screw up here, not with Dean’s life on the line.
“Fix him.” You said through gritted teeth.
“I already told you,” She said in exasperation, “I’m not fixing him. Not for free anyway.” She told you, smirking evilly as she watched your face, seeing the exact moment the words registered with you.
“Normally I wouldn’t be caught dead making a deal with you yet here we are…What do you want? I’ll do anything.”
“Anything?” She asked you and you nodded in confirmation. You’d do anything to make sure Dean was safe there was no doubt within you. “Good, good, then, I want your love.” She told you causing you to frown.
“My love?” You asked in confusion.
“Love is the most powerful feeling of them all, above happiness, above anger, greed, shame, disgust. Love is the most magical, the most beneficial and you, my dearie, are filled with love. Sure, there’s anger and determination under it but above everything you feel love. I want it.” She growled. You thought it over in your head, not really understanding but knew the answer you were going to give. If it saved Dean Winchester you would give her your love.
“Fine, take it. Just fix Dean.” You pleaded, not wanting to beg but there were hours left before Dean would die.
“We have a deal then?” She asked, taking a step closer to you. You felt the room go cold as she did, a shiver ran down your back as you gulped.
“Deal.” You said and a moment later you were on the floor clutching your chest, withering in pain as you panted, no noise able to come out of your mouth.
You barely saw the witch crouch down in front of you but heard the warning she gave.
“Magic always comes with a price.”
-
-
-
Sam watched in shock as Dean sat up panting for breath as he did. He was by his brothers’ side straight away wondering what on earth you had done to save Dean.
Sam brought Dean up to speed with what he could and when he finished, he said something that made Dean freeze.
“You’re in love with her.”
Before Dean could respond, whether to confirm or deny what Sam had said, you walked through the door looking a mess. Your hair was wild and there was still a gleam of sweat on you but it was the eyes that made both brothers stop; eyes that were usually full of life looked dead.
“Y/N,” Sam began slowly, “what did you do?”
-
-
-
Both brothers were furious with you but understood what you did. Now they were sat on the bed trying to figure out how to get your love back from the witch. Dean watched you as you sat in front of him, he knew Sam was right he did love you and now he might never even get a chance to be with you because of this damned witch.
“The only thing we keep coming back to is killing her.” Sam said causing Dean to look away from you and up at his brother who was pacing with the phone in his hands. All evening they’d been looking through books and calling other hunters but nobody had a solution other than to kill her and see where to go from there.
So, the brothers gathered up everything they would need and set off, leaving you behind in the motel. You were glad for it really; you didn’t think you could handle seeing the witch again. You hadn’t realised just how much love filled you until it was taken away and the only thing you could feel was a sadness that settled deep in your bones and coiled tightly around your heart.
-
-
-
It had taken hours but the brothers had managed to track and kill the witch. It was actually laughable how easy it had been to kill her, really, she should have suspected they would come after her, nobody hurt somebody they loved and got away with it.
They rooted through her things and finally came upon a sealed glass box that contained a vial of shimmering, almost pure white, energy. The only thing Dean could describe it to was angel grace but different, he could tell it was yours, the pull he felt towards it was all he needed to know and before long him and Sam had found the key to open it and were making their way back to you.
“I’m going to stay here.” Sam told him as he parked the impala up in front of the motel. Dean turned to him in confusion causing Sam to laugh.
“Man, you gotta tell her you love her. You both deserve it.” Sam said and meant it with all his being. If anyone deserved to be happy it was his big brother.
“Yeah, I know. Thanks Sammy.” And with that Dean walked towards his future.
-
-
-
“Hey.” Dean said as he walked over to you, vial in hand.
“I’m sorry,” you told him softly, “but I couldn’t just let you die, I might not know much of what I loved right now but I know that you are the most important thing to me and if I can feel that without love then, imagine how I felt with it.” You confessed, eyes filling with tears as the sadness clung to you. Dean watched you and felt his own heart ache.
“Lucky for you we got it back.” He said, trying to grin but failing.
You looked up at him and saw the vial in his hands, finally letting a few tears slide down your face as you did. With shaking hands, you took it from him as Dean sat on the bed next to you, holding your free hand in his.
With a slight look of hesitation, you flipped the lid open as watched as the energy flowed from the bottle and into your mouth, filling you with love and happiness. Tears fell from your eyes faster as you were overwhelmed with the cluster off emotions that filled you so suddenly. Dean was there, holding you against his chest as you sobbed through it, rubbing your back and whispering soothing words that you barely heard.
When everything had calmed down and you felt like yourself again, you took a few breaths and looked up at him. “I love you, Y/N/N, I have for a while but it took me until now to actually realise it and for that I’m so sorry. You’re one of the best things in my life and I don’t wanna lose you so if you ever pull something like this again, you’re dead.” He warned causing you to laugh loudly. Dean smiled down at you as he took in your laugh, your smile, everything. God, there was nowhere else he wanted to be.
“I love you too, so damn much, and I’d do it all over again if it meant you lived.” You told him, meaning each word.
Dean smiled softly at you, a look you couldn’t remember ever seeing on his face, before he leaned down slowly, giving you time to pull away if you wanted, and pressed your lips together.
It was perfect, everything the two of you were waiting for all these months and if it took for a witch to get you two to admit your feelings then well, magic always comes with a price.

Requested - Yes - Anon - Hello, could I request a Jared Padalecki x reader story with prompt #188? Basically Jared is in love with the reader and is a big cuddly boy who follows them around everywhere, and he ends up in their trailer and begs them to play with his long hair, up until he feels sleepy and wants to nap with the reader? 💖💖💖
Prompts - 188 - can we nap together?
You were still relatively new to the Supernatural set, originally starting out as a character set to appear in two episodes but somehow ended up signing on to at least two more seasons. At first it was terrifying, everyone else had been on set for a while, they knew each other incredibly well and you were a new face that had the potential to mess that up, but thankfully everyone on set was warm and welcoming, none more so than Jared Padalecki.
Though you told yourself you were a professional there was something about Jared Padalecki that made you want to break your own rule of not dating your co-stars. You knew it had the potential to become incredibly messy and awkward if something were to go wrong but with Jared you couldn’t help but fall for him a little more every day.
The giant of a man turned into a puppy dog around you, he followed you around everywhere, if you were sitting in your chair reading lines or waiting for the scene to commence, Jared wasn’t too far away, always trying to capture your attention and soaking it up like a sponge.
It was a sight to see but Jensen was there witnessing every moment, watching as his best friend fell more and more for you every day. He’d listened to Jared pine, watched as he got drunk at the cast outings and alternated from clinging to you, pulling you into his arms, dragging you onto the dance floor to whining to Jensen about how amazing you were and how he wished you were his.
Yeah, Jensen really hoped his friend got the girl.
Jared knew what he was like around you. He knew he turned into a love sick fool but there was little he could do about it. He worried he was annoying you, constantly talking and touching you but you were always there with a smile and a touch to his arm, a quick caress as you brushed his hair behind his ears. He tried to back off but he just couldn’t, there was something about you that made him weak in the knees.
-
“Y/N!” Jared grinned as he came bounding up to you, you couldn’t help but grin back at him as he pulled you against his chest.
“Hey Jared.” You said softly, wrapping your own arms around him.
There had been a two-week break in filming and everyone was finally back on set and ready to film. Today was going to be a long day for sure, it was an early morning shoot that began at 7am but everyone had to be here hours earlier for hair, makeup and everything else. You could already feel the tiredness and knew you weren’t wrapping up until at least 6pm tonight.
“How was your break?” Jared asked as he pulled away, making sure to keep his arm wrapped around your shoulder as he walked the two of you over to the hair and makeup trailer. You couldn’t help but let your head fall against his chest tiredly, letting him guide your steps as your eyes drifted shut.
“It was good.” You told him as you suppress a yawn causing him to smile softly down at you. “I pretty much did nothing but catch up on work. How was yours?”
“Yeah, it was pretty good.” Jared replied, reciting some of the things he had gotten up to as you listened half-heartedly.
“Here we are.” Jared said as he gently pushed you down into a chair before taking the one right next to you. You leaned forward with a groan, letting your head rest on the counter. Your flight hadn’t gotten in til midnight and the 5am wake up call wasn’t appreciated.
Jared chuckled warmly as he looked at you, completely and utterly in love.
As Trisha came in and began your makeup, Sofia following closely behind to start on Jared, Jared kept up a constant stream of one-sided conversation leaving you to wonder where he got so much energy from. The soft smiles you gave him were encouragement enough for him to continue.
-
Early morning shootings were bad enough.
Early morning emotional, soul destroying shootings were the worst.
It was 10am by this point and you had already cried more times than you could count today for different scenes. You were drinking more caffeine than was probably healthy but without it you probably would start actually crying out of sheer exhaustion.
It was around half one when the director called for a break and you had never been happier for it. Over the six and a half hours of filming you watched as Jared’s own energy started to fade though he was better at hiding it than you were.
You went and sat against one of the back walls of the studio, letting your head fall back and your eyes fall shut. You knew you should go back to your trailer and get as much rest as you could before coming back to film but right now you just needed a second to sit.
You weren’t surprised in the slightest when you heard someone sit down next to you. If it were anyone else you would’ve been annoyed but because it was Jared you just let your head fall against his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around your waist.
“I can’t wait to be done.” Jared mumbled into your hair and you just hummed your agreement.
Jared looked down at you, frowning in sympathy as he felt the tiredness weighing heavily on him. It was a long day; emotions were high as a result of the heavy scenes that had been filmed and everyone was drained.
“C’mon, let’s go back to the trailers.” Jared murmured as he helped you up, being sure to keep a hand wrapped around you as he led you out of the studio. Your trailer was closer so he led you over and stood by as you unlocked the door and let him in.
The trailer was the same as the others, a small kitchen that was attached to a living area with a sofa and some chairs, past the kitchen led into a bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Jared watched as you flopped down onto the sofa and smiled before joining you on it, it definitely wasn’t long enough for him but he lay down with his head resting on your lap, smiling cheekily up at you when you looked down at him.
You just rolled your eyes and him but there was no hiding the smile on your face. The two of you allowed yourselves a moment of quietness to just look at each other before Jared’s grin widened.
“Play with my hair?” He asked sweetly, looking up at you with a set out puppy dog eyes no one could resist. You playfully rolled your eyes but grinned back and began to do as requested.
Jared was a sucker for attention and physical contact on a regular day with a regular person but when he was tired, that need for affection multiplied and coming from you, well he’d soak up any amount of attention he could get.
“Come down ‘ere.” Jared mumbled tiredly before lifting his head from your lap and shifting the pair of you so you ended up laying mostly on Jared, your head resting on his chest and his arms around your waist.
“This is nice.” You admitted quietly, feeling like if you spoke too loudly the peaceful atmosphere would break.
“Hmm, yeah it is.” Jared replied, humming in pleasure as you began playing with his hair again.
“Can we nap together?” He asked softly, voice betraying his uncertainty.
“I’d like that.” You answered just as softly, feeling as your eyes began to drift shut for longer periods of time.
As you let your eyes shut fully you missed the look on Jared’s face, a look of complete softness showing just how absolutely gone for you he was.
“God, I wish you were mine.” He mumbled before allowing himself to relax and drift off along with you.
-
It was Jensen who found the two of you curled up together hours later.
He couldn’t help but smile at his best friend whose feet were hanging over the sofa and whose body looked moments away from falling off the sofa. You were lying slightly on the sofa but mostly on Jared’s chest, one hand clutching his shirt and the other still tangled in his hair.
He couldn’t wait for the day when Jared asked you out. He knew the anxiety was there, eating away at Jared, convincing him you didn’t see him like that, telling him all the ways he could ruin your friendship but Jensen knew that the two of you were perfect for each other. Hell, he’d spent many nights trying to convince you to ask Jared out but he hadn’t got far with that.
“Jensen?” You sleepily asked as you were shaken awake. You watched as Jared stirred, half opening his eyes to see Jensen before batting him away and cuddling further into you.
“Hey sweetheart, we’re back on set in 30.” He told you, watching as your eyebrows knitted together and a frown appeared on your face.
“Thanks.” You said, the tiredness you felt clear in your voice. Jensen watched as you shook Jared awake, watched as he shifted so that his head was on your chest and you began to play with his hair.
It was amazing and irritating to watch.
Amazing because he was literally watching two of his closest friends falling madly in love with each other and irritating because neither of you were doing anything about it.
-
Jared and you had somehow managed to untangle yourselves and make it back onto set with enough time to spare for hair and makeup adjustments.
After properly waking up the two of you had stammered and blushed as you walked back to set, each acknowledging that you wanted to be able to cuddle and nap together all the time but neither one brave enough to make the first move.
The two of you got back to filming, an awkward air settling that had Jensen rolling his eyes and mumbling to Misha about idiots in love. You and Jared snuck glances at each other when the other wasn’t looking and come half six you were exhausted all over again.
You watched as Jensen grabbed Jared, pulling him to one side after the last shot of the day had been called. You waited for a moment before deciding just to head back to your trailer instead of waiting for Jared like you usually did.
Today had exhausted you, emotional scenes, early mornings, late flights; the last thing you wanted to do was think about your crush on Jared and god didn’t you feel like you were in high school again.
You were half way back to your trailer, ready to crash and burn, when you heard Jared calling your name. You stopped and let him catch up to you, watching as he jogged over.
“Hey, what’s up?” You asked, noticing how nervous he looked.
“I liked napping with you.” He blurted out and from the look on his face it wasn’t what he wanted to say at all. “Wait no, I mean-” here he cut himself off with a frustrated groan before taking a deep breath and starting again. “Since the day I met you I liked you, ok? I’ve been scared to actually tell you because, well, you're amazing and beautiful, caring, down to earth. God, I feel myself falling for you harder and harder every damn day.” He confessed with a sheepish grin, “and I really like napping with you.” He finished with a nervous laugh.
You couldn’t help but stare up at him in awe. Sure, Jensen had told you that Jared felt the same but there was a difference between Jensen telling you and Jared confessing it. You could see Jared was getting nervous by your lack of response, his fist curled anxiously around his shirt as he looked from you to the ground.
“I really like napping with you too.” You told him softly, watching as he stopped biting his lip and grinned down at you excitedly, it was amazing how this man had the ability to resemble an overgrown puppy.
“Good, good.” He murmured, leaning down to rest his forehead on yours, “can I kiss you?” He asked, smiling as he felt you nod against him.
Jensen watched on with a smile, not doubting that the two of you were pretty much made for each other.

Highschool sweethearts (smut)
The reader and Sam have known each other for a long time but didn’t know they had feelings for each other. So what will happen?
Highschool sweethearts

A/N: this was originally written for a friend, but enjoy still! Warnings: smut
Word count: 3k
You knew the Winchesters since ever you were little. Your mom and Mary were really good friends and she liked you a lot, you were like a daughter she never had. Dean was never really your type you always thought of him as a brother, nothing more. But Sam? Oh boy, you always had a thing for him. His short and soft curls, you always wanted to drive your fingers through his hair. In your point of view he was the most beautiful boy in school…or you have ever seen.
“Earth to Y/N.” Dean said as he waved a hand in front of your face. “Oh, sorry. What were you talking about?” you asked him. “I was talking about that I don’t know how to ask Jass out.” You looked at Dean and thought about it. You never had a problem with jass, but you also hadn’t had to do that much with each other. She was in your classes, but that was everything. She was always friendly towards you, so you really thought about it how he could ask her out. But first you wanted to mess with him as he always do.
“Look Deano-“ Dean rolled his eyes at you and you suppressed a laugh, clearing your throat. “I don’t think she likes you.” but you did know she likes him, she always talked about him with her friends in class. You saw how everything fell out of Dean’s face and you swore you saw him went pale.
“Really?” he said and plopped down next to you on the sofa and let his head down. You felt sorry. “I was just kidding Dean.” and he shot you a glare. “Indeed she likes you, I guess.” you added quickly. And you saw his face lit up, you were happy for him.
“Hey.” Sam said as he joined you guys in the living room. You always got nervous in front of him and when he gave you one of his sweet smiles or when he never lost eye contact with you, you blushed, deeply.
“Hey.” You said trying to sound normal. He gave you one of his sweet smiles and you thought your knees would go weak. He looked away from you after Dean cleared his throat and elbowed him, shooting him a glare. Sam looked at Dean, “Dean just wanted to tell you that I’m going out.” Dean narrowed his eyes at his little brother, “With who?” “Uhm...-“ Sam scratched the back of his neck and cleared his throat. “Just a girl.” he said and you felt your head ache and felt jealous although you had no reason.
“Have fun.” Dean said with a smirk and you smiled weakly at Sam, who frowned. Sam left and Dean studied your expression. You looked at your hands and fiddled with them. “You like him.” Dean said and you looked up at him, seeing him with a frown. “Wh-what?” you asked.
“You like my little little brother.” you laughed. “Of course I like him, he’s your brother and you’re my best friend, duh.” You tried to change the subject, but Dean knew you too well. “Stop acting silly, you know how I meant that. You really like him.” you looked away from him.
“Y/N, I’ve know you practically my whole life. I know you, better than anyone. To be honest I knew it for a long time, but wasn’t sure about it.” he said and you looked back at him. “And it would be so cool if you two would be a couple.” You gave him a weak smile. “Thank you, I guess. But he’s out, having a date.” You shrugged and looked at your lap.
“Nah, I know my brother, he was lying.” you felt so relieved, but then you thought about it. “What makes you think that way?” you asked. “Sam always scratches his neck when he lies and he blushes at the same time, so he was lying. Don’t worry.” He reassured you and patted your thigh softly.
He got up and went into the kitchen, you followed him. “You wanna drink something?” Dean asked you. “Yeah, water would be great.” You said. “So about Jass-“ you started. “-Why don’t you just ask her?” Dean eyes widen when realisation hit him and you know he had an idea. “It’s spring ball, next week.” “Right and you could ask her.” you smirked at him. “Do you think she will really say ‘yes’?” You looked at him and cocked an eyebrow. “Dean, I promise she will.”
~*~
You were in class and copying things from the white board for your next exam as Sam knocked at the door and came in, whispering something into your teacher’s ear. You saw Sam with a bunch of flowers and went back to work. What you didn’t expect was that he stopped in front of you and tapped your shoulder.
You looked up at him and dropped your pen. “Y-Y/N“ stuttered out because everyone was looking at him. “I-I just w-wanted to ask you if you’d like to go to go to the ball uhm-“ he swallows hard “with me?” he asked and your eyes widened in shock, you didn’t expect him to ask you out. He held it the bunch of flowers and you gladly took them from him as you stood up. “Sam, I-I-“ his face dropped when you didn’t give him an answer right away “-I’d love to.” you said with a blush and he kissed your cheek before he left.
You looked around and everyone was looking at you with a smile. You saw Jass, giving you a thumb’s up and you smiled at her. Dean still didn’t ask her and you didn’t understand. The funny thing was just 20 minutes later Dean entered your class, whispering to the teacher. He looked at you and you gave him a thumb’s up and he took a deep breath.
He asked her too they hugged and everyone let out an ‘awww’. You felt so happy, for both of them. But you were more happy that Sam really asked you.
~*~
It was spring ball and you were nervous you were standing in front of your mirror, chewing your bottom lip nervously. You looked beautiful, you were wearing your favourite dress. You checked your makeup and smoothed your dress, just then your doorbell ringed.
You made your way downstairs and opened your door, your mom smiled at you as you walked to the door. “Hey.” he breathed out as he admired you. “You-you look so-so beautiful.” Sam said and you blushed. You admired him too, he was wearing his tux and a matching tie to your dress. He looked so good, more breathing-taking.
“You look good yourself.” You said shyly and you saw him blush. You grabbed your heels and put them on. You linked arms with him and walked to the limousine waiting outside where everyone was sitting in you knew. Dean with jass, you and Sam and some others.
-time skip-
Sam intertwined his fingers with yours as you two entered the big gym hall. You looked up at him and saw him smiling down at you. You ate something and drank a bit, but not too much. You and Sam went to the dance floor and a slow song started. He pulled you close to him, you rested your hands on his shoulder as you rested your head on his chest. You two swayed to the music in a slow pace.
“Y/N?” Sam whispered a few minutes later. You hummed and looked up at him. You saw him blushing, “I think, I’m-I’m in love with you.“ he whispered and smiled nervously at you. You lifted your head from his chest and looked him in the eyes. “I’m in love with you too.” you whispered shyly. He gave you a loving and bright smile, “I’m so happy you are.” he said as he cupped your cheek.
“C-can I kiss you?” he whispered and you nodded. He pressed his lips softly to yours and your eyes fluttered shut and he kissed you so lovingly and tenderly. It was the best feeling you ever felt.
~*~
8 months have passed, you and Sam were happier than ever. He adored you so much and you adored him. You two walked hand in hand through the hallways in your school. You stopped at your locker and he let go of your hand. You opened your locker, “Y/N?” you looked at him with a smile. He scratched the back of his neck and looked at you, “Spit it.” you said.
“What do you think about coming over today? It’s Friday and my parents are with my uncle bobby and Dean is with Jass.” he smiled nervously. You knew what this was about, it was about having sex for the first time.
You and Sam talked about that many times and he also told you there’s no rush and you should take your time, but you were more than ready. Already after 6 months, of course you already explored each other’s body, but never had sex. You just weren’t THAT ready.
“Sure.” you said with a smile and took your books out.
Classes passed quickly and you were standing in your room, packing the things you needed for a sleepover. You grabbed a class of water and swallowed your birth control pill your mom wanted you to take since you’re with Sam. Maybe she was right about that.
You grabbed your bag and walked downstairs slipping into your sneakers. You walked 5 minutes to the Winchester’s house and knocked at the door. Sam opened the door with a smile, he gave you a peck on the lips and closed the door after you stepped in.
You two immediately walked into his room and grabbed your bag from you and put it on his desk. He already started the show you were watching together. You lied down next to each other, he wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close. You rested your head on his chest and your legs were tangled with his. His finger draw circles on your back and you loved it when he did that.
The couple on the screen started kissing and you wanted that too, you lifted your head and captured your lips with his. Your lips moving against each other’s and he place a hand on your neck, pulling you closer to him. You tended your head and deepened the kiss as you straddled his lap.
His hands rubbed your thighs up and down until he squeezed your ass. Your hands drove under his shirt and you took it off, admiring his abs, you loved so much. He took the opportunity and took off your hoodie as well, more like his hoodie.
He pulled you down for another kiss and he slipped his tongue into your mouth and both of your tongues fought with each other. He obviously won and took dominance, he reached behind your back and unclasped your bra.
He tossed it on his desk and cupped your boobs, pinching your nipples like he knew you liked it. You moaned softly into his mouth and ground your hips onto his and groaned into your mouth as well. You got off of him and shoved his sweats including his boxers down, revealing his semi-hard cock.
You tossed his pants away and licked your lips at the sight. You took him into your hand and began to stroke him and he let out a soft sigh and his head fell back on the pillow. Your mouth hovered over his cock and he looked at you with pleading eyes before you took him into your mouth.
You swirled your tongue around his tip and bobbed your head up and down, like he loved it. His hand tangled through your hair, encouraging you to take him deeper and you did. You deep throat him and he bucked his hips up into your mouth, you moaned around his dick.
He groaned and tugged on your hair tightly, “I’m-I’m gonna-“ he couldn’t finish his sentence before his groaning of your name interrupted him and he came down your throat. You swallowed his cum gladly and licked his shaft clean, letting go of it with a plop.
He came down from his high and looked at you with a hazy smile. He brought you in for a loving kiss and pulled away before he said, “It’s your turn now.” and you bit your bottom lips as you saw him kissing down your body until he reached your sweats.
He took them down with your panties and kissed your folds which made you immediately squirming under his touch. He kissed your clit and began to suck onto it as he added his finger to your dripping hole. He curled them, just like you liked him to do that, he pumped them in and out of you. You moaned loudly and bucked your hips up, but he held your hips in place.
It didn’t took you long until you were a moaning mess, you clenched around his fingers and gripped his hair tightly. You came hard, moaning his name so loudly, this was probably one of the best orgasms he has ever given you.
You breathed heavily and let go of his hair and let your hand fall to your side. You came down from your high and smiled lazily a him, the tv show already forgotten.
He plopped down next to you, unsure what to do next. And you hesitantly took the next step, you straddled him and he looked you into the eyes. “Are you sure? Like really sure?” he asked you and you nodded, you were more than sure.
He lifted your hips and took his cock into his hands. He lined up with your entrance and you winced slightly as he slowly made you sunk down slowly. You weren’t moving for a few minutes until you were completely adjusted to him.
He changed positions carefully and made you lie on your back and you winced slightly as he moved you. He looked at you and gave you a loving and sweet kiss. He pulled away and looked at you, asking for your permission, you nodded. He began to move slowly and the pain faded away, when you were sure, you bucked your hips. He understood and went went faster. You moaned in pleasure and he did the same. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed his jaw.
As you wrapped your legs around his torso you moaned loudly as he hit spots you didn’t know existed. He knew he found your g-spot and he attempted to hit that spot every time he thrusted into you. You moaned his name loudly and dug your nails into his back, tugging onto his hair as well. He groaned and thrusted harder, you clenched around him.
He groaned into your ear as you clenched and he speeded up his pace. You clenched so hard around his cock as you could and moaned his name loudly. He groaned as he felt you cum all over his cock. You breathed heavily and moaned softly as he released himself inside you, both of you panting. You came down from your high and you thought the first orgasm was good but this one? This one was the best one for real.
Sam pulled out of you and plopped down next to you, smiling lovingly at you. “I love you, Y/N.” he whispered against your lips with a smile. “I love you too, Sam.” he smiled and gave you a sweet peck on your lips.
He pulled you close and you were so tired that you fell asleep and he smiled down at you, dozing of as well.
