Homelessness In America
yeah so it's official people are starting to be arrested for being homeless. They are literally being pulled off the streets and into to cop cars for not having a place to live. Why is this happening???? Why is this even a thing that exist???Why are the homeless people being arrested instead of affordable housing being put in place???Why not fix the house market as well as rent prices so people can actually afford to live??? The resource I got this information from says that if you are suspected to be homeless like you can be arrested.
So you can't afford rent and you also can't afford to live on the street. Just about 48 states across the USA have laws "criminalizing homeless people engaging in life-sustaining activities."
read that again not recreational activities but LIFE-SUSTAINING ACTIVITIES!!!!! LIFE SUSTAINING. This is so fucking sick and twisted I hate it here. Things need to change but the other problem with this is that people are going to build these apartment buildings and no one is going to be able to afford them because minimum wage is $7.25. How in the hell are we supposed to live like this. How???? It's not possible. I cannot believe this.
The system" is beyond fucking broken. We need to realize the power we have as citizens. We need to vote. We need to pay attention to local and state elections. We need to protest and pay attention to other methods of protest in order to change things. And until things do change we need to make life very uncomfortable for those who are unwilling to.

Poverty is just poverty. I just don't think a country this wealthy should have homeless people.
I think all political jobs all the way up to the president should only be allowed to earn their country’s minimum wage the entire time they work in politics. Also they should get only 1 week’s vacation per year and have to pay for their own food and gas. The white house should charge them rent.
if kamala doesnt get the minimum wage raised in her first term of presidency then the federal minimum wage will have been stagnant for 20 years (come january).

do you see what the problem is? the gop is literally giving tax cuts to the top 1% and not the people who actually need it, because the gop is funded by a bunch of fucking billionaires. since they're such money-sucking leeches, they help the upper class and leave the bottom brackets to suffer under capitalism without even giving them a minimum wage of $15/hr because it may cause them to lose a little more money.
