I don't know how it's possible, but I just simultaneously got all of the answers and none of the answers.
I wanted to enjoy ep 7 so bad.
Listen, I have gone 7 whole episodes without saying a single bad thing about MD but... god damn, I can't ignore it anymore. Trust me, I am as appalled by myself writing this as you are reading this.
The gist of this is: You know how we joke about J having no screen time despite being super interesting? Yeah, make that real and apply that to everything. That's episode 7.
Warning for MASSIVE spoilers, do not read unless you have watched episode 7 or just don't care.
Every minute felt like I was being BLASTED with something, I didn't have time to enjoy N and Uzi's relationship or to mourn Doll's death. I should've been SO HYPED by Lizzy/Lizzie(?), Thad and Khan gearing up but... it was just too much.
If you've known me for long enough you would know how long I've been obsessing over "X eyes" or (as we now know) Tessa.
I'm not really that upset that it ended up being Tessa, In fact, I think it could've been really cool... if this form didn't have LESS THAN 3 MAYBE 2 MINUTES OF SCREENTIME. So, SO MUCH foreshadowing for less than 3 minutes.
V is just fucking GONE, like, I'm 70% sure she is mentioned ONCE.
Doll is probably dead and died ALMOST OFFSCREEN.
Khan skips a WHOLE BUNCH of character development.
HOW THE FUCK IS NORI'S HEART HERE?!
...*sigh* yeah I was going to put more complaints here but I don't like being a bitch so... yeah.
I AM super excited to see fanart of... Solver Tessa? Eldritch Tessa? ^THE BAD BITCH IN THE PICTURES :D/gen
Is it just me or does J's voice in episode 7 sound a little... off? Like, I swear it was way deeper before.
This is giving me flashbacks somebody help.
You know what would be really fucked up but also really cool?
If she isn't quite dead, per se, but rather that this is a really fucked up kind of life support and that's how they save her.
And you know what would be the cherry on top? if J found that out.
Also, don't try to tell me anything along the lines of "but she was decapitated! Of course she's dea- bitch do I need to remind you how many decapitations N alone has survived? Don't try to say "Human flesh is more complicated than metal!" either, The AS bends and contorts human flesh like it's goddamn silly putty, that is just straight up wrong.
I've honestly been thinking way too hard about this.
I would like to give a small reminder that episodes 1-4 all have some time skip in between them, be it a few days or maybe even months.
Episodes 5-7 happen in one day.
N: Almost dies, recovers all his past trauma, almost dies X2, is tasked with killing his girlfriend, watches V die, almost dies X3, meets his girlfriend's mom, has to kill one of his childhood friends, watches his girlfriend get possessed, almost dies X4, is forced to confess to mixed results, sees Tescyn, almost dies X5, and watches his girlfriend sacrifice herself all in
ONE DAY.
Episode 8 better let this man die or give him a god damn break. Preferably the latter.

Also, a few notes on who it can't be
Can't be Uzi, obvious reasons
Can't be Doll, she has almost full control over it and I think it would've been a much bigger deal
Most likely isn't Tessa/Cyn, Tessa/Cyn unzipped her suit once and ALLLLL the gory goop fell out, that looks hard to set up
Probably isn't eldritch V, she's in the upper levels and also has Uzi as an admin but it wouldn't surprise me if it was
Might be the corrupted cores in Alice's oven but, again, they're in the upper levels
I think we should all MUCH MORE CONCERNED about what was just trying to eat them.
Edit: While Flesha is one of the more likely options, I've found a few more pieces of evidence that would say otherwise.
This entity never says it's actions aloud, even when using the CYN voice. Flesha does. In fact, every host does.
While Flesha DID go into her "eldritch" form, she only did so after going into The Hole™.
The fact that there's a whole flesh cave system to me implies that this thing has been here for a while. Flesha literally just got here.
In my last post I talked (screamed in horror) about this ^ and how we really have no idea what it is... I just noticed a funny little detail about it.
It never says it's actions aloud.
Allow me to explain why this could be MASSIVE.
Literally every single host of The AbsoluteSolver does that.
Every. Single. One.
Zero exceptions.
Eldritch J, first time we ever saw it: "CLAW SWIPE", "SNARL"
CYN, I really don't need to explain but: "STAB", "LIGHT SIP"
Nori, after throwing the patch cross: "MACGUFFIN"
Uzi, after being grounded: "ANGRY"
Tescyn, don't know if this counts but: "NECK BITE" "STAB"
It's impossible to know what this could mean but I think we can narrow it down to two possibilities:
This is The AS at maximum power/control, no host needed
This is The AS at almost ZERO power/control, all the host
I'm currently obsessing over the idea of two because of all the potential, like, what if it's an incredibly devout worshiper of the solver just doing a very good job of mimicking the solver or an amalgamation of a bunch DD's that somehow "broke" the solver's control and just really hate N for some reason.
My prediction timeline for episode 8.
It starts simple, there are a couple things that I think are guaranteed to happen in the beginning, such as:
GLITCH intro
J, Thad, Lizzy and Khan fight
J ether joins them or dies
V is revealed to be not dead, in eldritch form or otherwise
They go down and check on N, probably with J's help
Then the timeline splits because of one thing: Is this really space or some strange solver limbo?
IF IT IS SPACE:
V and N meet up (que a lot of crying)
The planet gets a bit wonky (starts trying to eat them)
They run to the ship
someone or several people in the squad die
They get on the ship
They go to space and watch the planet implode
They retrieve Uzi (que N and Uzi's angsty Wall-e space dance)
[That or everybody just dies]
IF IT ISN'T SPACE (IS ACTUALLY SOLVER LIMBO)
Uzi (IN "SPAAAAAAAAAAACE") B plot starts
About half of the above timeline still happens
We meet the real Cyn (DUN DUN DUN)
Something something The AS broke Cyn's deal
Uzi makes a deal with Cyn, """killing""" The AS
Uzi ASCENDS
Less people die, people still do, I'm just saying less do
Copper-9 lives!
And some last few things that I think are guaranteed to happen at the end of the episode:
Some characters leave Copper-9 on the spaceship (not all of them because of A: Death B: just choosing not to go or C: not enough space [heh]) to go to another planet, likely earth
We are teased with some new (likely Disassembly Drone) characters from ether Earth or even, god forbid, the oven...
Credits (+ some post credits thing)
Seeing as Serial Designation S has left the "Do they actually exist" limbo in episode 7, being revealed as Tessa (and J's OC), I need a new character that doesn't really exist (yet) to obsess over.
