My blood is fucking boiling. We have done spells and rituals to protect these people in protests. Yet they have the AUDACITY to do this to us. Their ignorance shows so much and to think we all were coming together. But they had to go and ruin it. And I get in the post they say Baphomet. But of course the catholics and Christians in the comments keep saying its satan.

-

We have been burned and oppressed for centuries. And literally have only the law of free religious freedom on our side. But not even that saves us. They started a race war and now they want to start a whole fucking religious war.

-

Fuck God and fuck Christ. You have been silencing us and smearing our names long enough now.

My Blood Is Fucking Boiling. We Have Done Spells And Rituals To Protect These People In Protests. Yet

Fenrir: devotional acts + offerings + memes because why not (UPG). 🐺

Fenrir: Devotional Acts + Offerings + Memes Because Why Not (UPG).
Fenrir: Devotional Acts + Offerings + Memes Because Why Not (UPG).

Feeling angry is extremely valid and important. You can offer it, especially if you have anger issues. All strong emotions are an excellent offering! From anger, frustration, anxiety, everything is valid.

Triggers. Many of us have things that can trigger triggers, and we can give all that to the great wolf Fenrir. You don't need to justify it to give it to him, just do it. He'll understand.

Howl and growl. We've always been taught a lot about keeping our composure, and honestly, I don't give a shit. Bring out your inner savagery and allow yourself to walk on all fours, growl, howl when you're alone. Devour the meat on your plate, muss your hair and move like an animal in your room to the beat of a song like Welcome To The Jungle.

Dedicate the pain, the suffering. The pain of your muscles when you get a tattoo, the pain of your skin when you get a tattoo and the pain when you get a piercing. It can also be the pain of your traumas, the pain your inner child felt, anything is possible.

Donate to wolf protection centers, even adopt one where you donate money to take care of it! Do not keep it as a pet, of course.

Wear outfits, accesories, stuff in general, in black, brown, or earth-colored.

Practice self-care. He appreciates this very much.

BE YOURSELF. He was put in chains for expressing himself as he is. Do the same: be yourself, speak for yourself, express what you feel, your opinions, and stand up for those who cannot, either because they are shy, or because they are people who have a disability, for example people with paralysis.

Take trips to the mountains, or surround yourself with nature whenever you can. Listen to the sound of the rain, admire the color of the forest, its smells, everything.

Free yourself from your chains: go to therapy to heal everything you need to heal so you can free yourself more and more.

Be kind to stray animals. Leave food for stray dogs, water, etc. And if you can't, be kind to them, give them a smile, a cuddle, etc.

Offer him the anger or helplessness you feel in situations of injustice.

Offer him meat. If you don't eat meat, you can tell him without fear! You can offer him not to eat animals so that they do not suffer, it is also a beautiful offering. Thus, like him, they will not be tortured.

Offer him your trust. He was betrayed, so let him know that you will not. Place your hand on his mouth to let him know that you trust him completely.

Offer him your company. He is extremely lonely, locked up in a cave totally tied up and with a sword through his jaws. He loves to be accompanied.

July for Loki using 30 Days of Deity Devotion prompts, Day 10 • Offerings – historical and UPG

Only historical offering that I know of is from Telemark, Norway, where people used to throw the skin from boiled milk into the hearth fire as a sacrifice to Lokje (source: Dagulf Loptson, Playing with Fire).

In my personal experience, Loki enjoys lots of different offerings on his altar, and not only that!

Friendly reminder: of course this post is not meant to be all-comprehensive, nor valid for every devotee! The best way to find out what he likes from you, is giving him offers yourself and listen.

UPG appreciated offerings from my practice: lava rocks; sulphur; obsidian, carnelian, fire opal/agate and dark/firey crystals in general; dandelions; Fox/Snake/Hawk/Spider-related "things" (jewels, bones, fur, skin, feathers…); horns/antlers; cinnamon; coffee; whiskey; rhum; candles; tobacco; sweets; chili pepper; smoked salmon; raw meat; phallic shaped stuff (anything does); red, orange, black, green things; music.

There are many other ways to make offerings to him though, in everyday life!

Easy example, don't kill spiders/flies/critters around our home, free them. Consider making a donation (or some volunteering) to a local animal shelter housing animals related to him. Help those in need, especially children and women. Help people having a hard time, even by "just" acknowledging their feelings and listening to them. Always be true to yourself, the best and possibly most difficult offering you can give Loki.

Fertility gods get a lot of emphasis on sexuality. That's definitely an aspect of them given how much Freyr particularly is ehm... portrayed, but that's not all that fertility means.

Example: Beltane is, according to my Llewellyn book collection, a sexy sex festival of fornication and, on the side, a splash of PG rated euphemisms. To me, this is boring and ought to make Beltane an entirely skippable season. However, it's actually one of my favorites, and the time I feel closest to Freyr.

Fertility is just abundance. It can manifest a multitude of ways, from physical wealth, to richness of soil and flourishing of crops and livestock. Passion is mental as much as physical. Anyone who has sunk into a warm bath at the end of a hard day can tell you that physical bliss doesn't always mean sex.

Freyja and Freyr are gods of indulgences and good things. Taking care of yourself. The feeling of being wrapped in a warm blanket on a rainy day, or the rush of joy in seeing something or someone you love. The pleasant aching stretch of growing, and the satisfaction after working hard. And, yes, sometimes sex.

Help: Who is Frey to you?

So, i think i've been getting some signs by Frey and since i don't now that much about him yet, i wanted to ask whether some of you guys work with Frey and what you personally associate with him (especially in the modern perspective).

How do you see him? What does he stand for to you? If you give him offerings, what are they?

Would really appreciate your help! x

I think it's really easy for when people obtain a "seat of power" that they often become just like the people they disagree with in some fashion. It is why many kindreds often end up as shit, because the person lost their vision of what was truly important. They become obsessed with their own opinion as they attempt to lead people through their belief and even try to protect them against outside forces. On one hand, this is not a bad thing, but it can indeed lead to extremism if people do not practice mindfulness.

We are not perfect individuals. We all can make mistakes, even become prideful. That's what happens when we maintain a position of authority. Our sense of right and wrong becomes blurred as we then desire to seek solace in ignorance and refuse change and difference. Even the very well meaning people can become this way in time.

How this comes into play is through the belief of leading. No, we must not lead people, but rather merely say what we think. If we step ourselves down from a position of authority and put ourselves on equal footing with everyone around us, then it'll likely be better than not. Only by practicing humility can we even attempt to avoid the ignorance of pride.

I may be a heathen and speak my mind, but at the end of the day, I recognize everyone is an individual. You may be like me, or you may not. Either way, we are people with our own experiences and emotions. We have our own problems. The best thing we can do is recognize this. No one person is above anyone else.

Loki is the Norse god of mischief, and the hard cold truth, even tho he may be cold, he is wise, and charming in many ways.

I use resources, I do not own the info, and most deep dives have UPG (that I use in my work.) And I only take some information from sources. I am 14, this is my hobby, I am learning but I spent many hours and days on this, and I am always open to criticism. I have been doing worship for 5 years. Please know you can use the info, I do not sue, but I will take action if this work is used without permission and not put as a resource if used in any work. without permisson and not put as a resource if used in any work, for the public.

☀️Deities☀️

I see so many people criticizing others over their relationships, or lack thereof, with their deities, so here are some reminders:

Not having deities is okay.

Having just a devotional relationship with your deities is okay.

Having a working relationship with your deities is okay.

Playing games with your deities is okay.

Harmless jokes with your deities are okay.

Doing fun things with your deities is okay.

Doing devotional offerings for your deities is okay.

Giving physical offerings to your deities is okay.

Not being able to do certain offerings for deities is okay.

Having an altar for your deities is okay, no matter the size.

Not having an altar for your deities is okay.

Laughing with your deities is okay.

Crying with your deities is okay.

Having genuine conversations with your deities is okay.

Being unable to hear/see deities is okay.

Being able to hear/see deities is okay.

Not being able to communicate through divination is okay.

Using divination as a key element in communication is okay.

Not calling on deities during spellwork is okay.

Asking deities to help during spellwork is okay.

Asking deities for help in general is okay.

This is your relationship with your deities in your practice. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. 🫶

It's 2am, please forgive me if there are any mistakes!

Top Recommendations for Norse Pagans that aren’t Problematic.

There is a lot of books by people who are racist and part of far right side of Heathenry and I’m going to try my best and list the books I have that helped me on my path that isn’t problematic and have questionable intentions. Books and YouTube channels.

Anglo Saxon Socerery and Magic by Alaric Albertson. He is very knowledgeable in his work and path especially on runes which includes the rune poem to make your own interpretation and witchcraft side of things. He even talks about the Elves which I appreciate because not a lot of Norse authors talk about them. It’s more Germanic than Norse but I can’t see any problem adopting certain aspects since they are very similar. I will say he does take himself a bit serious at times but his information is so good and worthwhile. I have not read his first book on Travels through middle earth but it focus on more the pagan side.

Poetic Edda and Prose Edda: it’s what every Norse pagan needs. It’s the foundation of Norse paganism not bibles but myths and tales that can help along our journey. There is tons of translations, but my favorites are Dr. Jackson Crawford Poetic Edda and Anthony Fawkes Prose Edda. But look into other sagas as well like Volsung which Dr Jackson Crawford also wrote about.

Beowulf. More of a Germanic tale but again includes it has roots of Germanic sorcery, traditions, religion like the concept of Wyrd (Fate), the runes, and values within his society like loyalty and mythical creatures. Again there is many translations even Jrr Tolkien did a incompleted version of Beowulf but I think Tom Shippey finished that version I could be wrong. Nonetheless explore more than one, the oneI have is by Seamus Heaney.

Grimm Fairy Tales this mostly German Folklore but it’s still quite important to learn about in German folk magic, creatures and entities in German folklore tends to be very real to the practitioner in their spellwork.

The Way of Fire and Ice by Ryan Smith a very progressive outlook in Norse paganism, he talks about creating communities in Norse paganism and calling out and denouncing Nazis in the community how Norse Paganism is inclusive and how to be open to all types of people. But he has a beginner approach to the deities, beliefs, values within Norse paganism.

Look into a lot of academic sources that’s where you will find a lot of information on Norse paganism and religions.

Tacitus Germania - A Roman historian talking about the Germanic tribes their culture and customs.

Saxo Grammaticus history of the Danes

The Viking Way by Neil Price it goes good in depths about magic in Scandinavia like Seidh

Dictionary of Norse Mythology a quick guide to northern myths, if you are trying to find a specific god and you don’t have time to look up in a book it’s in there with great information to each one.

Children of Ask and Elm: History of Vikings by Neil Price on Scandinavian culture during the Viking age

Some YouTube Channels

The Norse Witch: Bente lives in Germany and their channel encompasses all of Norse paganism more around magic. They do interviews with other Norse witches of folk magic like Icelandic and Danish. Even gives good book recommendations and advice on general spellwork as well!.

Dr Jackson Crawford he is an author but he also has a YouTube channel. He was a professor in Colorado on Norse culture, mythology, and language and now is a full time YouTuber. He did a series of videos on the runes which are more historically accurate. Discusses the myths and the language and what do they mean. Jackson Crawford isn’t a Norse pagan nor he doesn’t care if you are one but just letting you know he isn’t coming from a pagan perspective.

The Welsh Viking also like Jackson Crawford but still has really great knowledge on Viking culture.

De SpĂśkenkyker who is a channel that focus on German Folk magic living in Germany who is a practicing German Folk Witch.

Please feel free to add on any recommendations that are helpful and useful to the Norse pagan Community!
