Cal is ENROLLED at MY High School, Golden Sierra High School!

Rating: PG for…brief mention of a drug and fluff!
There’s a few reasons why I love and hate it when new people are enrolled at Golden Sierra High School. They’re nice one minute, the next they don’t even care if you’re there anymore. It’s a hit or miss when it comes to me to make friends. It was 8:30 in the morning—I was leaning up against the wall, near the bathrooms, waiting for my best friend Britney to come. Her bus comes late sometimes, and I have to go to class without her. I fidget with my phone popper, starting to become nervous that I’m not seeing her. It’s clear her bus is late…yet again! But a certain guy I notice takes all my nervousness away! I see him walking down the hallway—is he new? I see what he’s wearing—a white tank with a jean jacket, black pants with some rip design on them and Timberland boots. His red fiery hair was combed as well! He was surrounded with other guys though, talking and conversing with him. But from the looks of it, he felt uncomfortable being around them. Part of me felt bad about him. Him and those guys stop near the bathrooms…technically near me!
They continue talking with him, bombarding him, making him feel uncomfortable by the minute. I see another rush of students enter from down the hall…I pick out Britney in the crowd! Finally, she came! Took her long enough. I looked at my phone to see the time being 8:45. Enough time to talk—maybe even go to the bathroom before class starts. Britney is closer now and realizes I’m here. She smiles and comes up to me. “Hey Lauryn!”, She greeted, hugging me. I hugged her. “Hey…how’ve you been?”, I always ask her that question for some reason. She looked around some before replying, “I’m good…how about you?”, “Same…”, I looked behind me to see the red-head standing there by himself now, guys that were bombarding him had left. Now’s my chance! I looked to Britney and pointed to him from behind. “I think I should go talk to him…he seems new, I can tell…”, Britney only took one glance as her face morphs into confusion. She looks back at me with a small smirk forming on her lips, quickly shaking her head.
“Mmm-mm…no…no Lauryn, I don’t want you distracted by this guy…come on!”, She grabs a hold of my wrist, but I gently pry myself from her grasp, rolling my eyes as I slowly walk over to him, ignoring Britney’s call for me to come back to her. I see him on his phone, mindlessly pretending to scroll through Instagram. His eyes averted from that phone and up to mines as a shy faint smile formed. “Hi! I’m Lauryn—you look new…”, I was trying to do my best of not being shy right now as I could feel myself getting hot. The guy gave a small huff of a chuckle and shoved his phone into his back pocket. “Y-yeah…you could say that…I’m still getting used to things around here…”, I agreed with him, turning around to notice Britney waiting on the side for me. Out of nowhere, the bell rang—signaling for us to go to class. “I’m Cal…nice to meet you Lauryn…”, He holds out his hand a little, gesturing us to shake hands. I lightly grabbed a hold of his hand as we shook.
“Heh, you too…I should get going…do you need help getting to class?”, Cal quickly took out this piece of paper from his pocket…it looked like his schedule. His shiny green eyes scanned the paper, his eyes flickering between me and that paper. “Yeah…where’s…256?”,I pointed my finger up to the ceiling. “It’s just upstairs…5th door down the hall to your left…”, Cal smiled and nodded. “Thanks! See ya around…”, He left in a jiffy, taking a short cut up through the stairwells. I came back over to Britney with her having a smug look on her face. “What?”, I asked her. She only shook her head in disbelief and chuckled. “We need to get to class…don’t get any ideas…”, I chuckled too, reminiscing on the moment that just happened. “Okay! Alright…you’re right, I DO need to get to class…will I see you later?”, “Yeah…”, She replies quickly as she hugs on me lightly before making her way down the hallway.
*TIMESKIP: TO THE END OF THE DAY*
The bell finally rung—letting us know it’s time to go home! I rushed out my class and down to the lobby area where I see tons of people were trying to leave the school. I looked among the crowd to try to spot Britney—maybe even Cal! Nothing but random people. I walked down the stairs and was about to leave when I heard a voice call out. “Lauryn! Over here!”, I quickly turned, trying to find who was calling me. I made my way out of the crowds and in the open I see Cal standing nearby, leaning against a pillar. I walked up to him, not helpin myself as I wrap my arms around his neck to embrace him. He stiffened a bit but relaxed into my gesture, hugging me back. “I was looking for you!”, I finally said, releasing myself from him. He looks to the floor, blushing ever so lightly before looking back to me. “Really? I didn’t mean to worry you…”, I only smiled to him in reaction. “It’s nothing…I’m fine…”, Cal chuckles slightly at my answer but his smile soon fades as he straightens up to notice someone was coming. I looked to where he was looking, seeing a group of guys coming over…those same guys that bombarded him from this morning. “YO! Cal! What’s good!”, One of the guys greeted him with the “guy handshake”. “Hey! Umm, aren't you guys gonna leave? What are you doing here?”, Cal had asked, seeing the gut shake his head.
“Naw bruh! I take the city bus…we’re just waitin’ around, y’know? We were actually on our way to go smoke some weed…wanna come with?”, I see the guy look to me, having that look of “what the hell are you doing here?” before looking back to Cal, waiting on his answer. Cal looks over to me, not knowing if he should go or not. To help him out, I slightly shook my head, quickly eying to the floor as some guys from the group were looking at me funny. Cal looks back at the guy, sighing. “Sorry guys…maybe next time?”, Cal holds out his hand for him to take. The guy instantly accepts it. “It’s alright man, take your time…I know you’re new and everything but you gotta adapt at some point…just lemme know when you wanna smoke…”, Cal only nods his head in response as the guys finally leave out the doors. During all this time, Britney never came around. She probably took a short cut and didn’t even bother coming to say goodbye to me! Cal noticed my mood and gave me a soft nudge. “You okay?”, I quickly looked to Cal’s shiny green eyes, nodding my head as I smiled faintly. “Yeah…I’m good…can I ask a quick question?”, Cal nods for me to proceed. “Is it alright if we be friends?”, Cal’s face lights up, nodding his head. “Sure! I don’t mind! Are you, uhm, about to leave?”, I have a nod to him, noticing him leaning back against the pillar. “What about you?”, I asked, slightly confused on why he’s handing around here.
Cal smirks slightly as he crossed his arms. “Don’t worry about me…my uh…uncle—he’s coming to pick me up…”, I looked behind me to see most of the crowds of people were outside now. “You’re not gonna wait outside for him?”, I look back to Cal to see him only shake his head. I could understand that he didn’t want to, not wanting to be around that many people while he waits for his ride. I nodded, quietly agreeing with him. I gave Cal one last hug, feeling him hug back, his hands resting on my lower back just under my bag. It was for a good 15 seconds when I released him, feeling the warmth in my cheeks as I gave Cal one last wave before leaving out of the school and to the parking lot where my dad waited.

Here is a random “cringe” and “all over the place” story I made like 3 years ago and I’m now just sharing it…I involve some big people in it like my old friends, actors, and myself, I put them in parentheses…almost technically like a crossover…if you don’t want to read this kind of story, I suggest moving on, but if you do, then please, enjoy and leave a like if you did so!
You’ve been warned, this is so so long!

A Heavy Heart.
(Big Movie-like story!)
(VERY LONG)
Rating: PG-13 for….brief violence, brief sensuality and thematic elements!
I couldn’t sleep. Insomnia was taking its toll on me. I looked at my alarm clock with the numbers glowing 4:30. Damn! I have to get up at 6 to go to work. I work at “Sylvie’s Shelf”…a grocery store. I take care of the deliveries that come into the store with the help of my friend Vincent (My old irl friend named Chance). I quickly got myself up and ready for what’s ahead. By the time I was done, it was 5:30! Enough time to say hi to my friends. I just hope they are up and awake already. I called Vincent first…he picked up rather quickly. “Hey Vincent…ready for work?”, There was silence on his end and a sigh. “Everything okay Vincent?”, I continued. Vincent finally spoke into the phone after the few moments of silence. But…it wasn’t him.
“Hello Jessica (me!)…this is Vincent’s mom…I’m sorry but he won’t be coming in to work today…”, I heard her sigh deeply again as she continued. “Vincent…has been in an accident…earlier yesterday….after you two left the store…he sped down the road too fast and got hit by a truck…and that truck was running a red light…and he is now on life support in the hospital…I’m sorry honey…we…can…both visit him after you’re done with your shift…what time do you get off?”, Standing there, I wasn’t sure how to talk to her, as I was still soaking in the information she just told me. I could only stifle out a “5:30…in the evening…” and hung up without hearing her response. I glanced to the clock to see it was 5:45…time to go.
I picked up my keys and hoodie, leaving out the door with my mind feeling frazzled. I was not going to let this incident get in the way of me working…I’ll pretend it never happened. It was a good drive as I pulled into the store parking lot, seeing there were lots of signs posted in the front saying, “Get better Vincent” or “We have faith in you!”. I got out of my car and over to the building. Staring at those signs, I felt a small swell of anger as I tore them all down, making my way inside the store. This was not helping me at all! As I got ready in the lounge, my co-worker, Jason, (Adam Driver who played Kylo Ren on Star Wars), came into the lounge to ask me if I was okay. Since my mind was still frazzled, and I have a small crush on him, I didn’t say anything as I stuffed my hoodie into my locker. Jason walks closer to me to say, “If you wanna talk about it—or if you don’t, I’m right here…”, He slowly takes my hand as I turn to him, feeling him grab my other hand as he gave them both gentle squeezes. I sighed knowing Jason always finds a way to make me feel better.
I nod to him. “Thanks Jason…but I’ll talk when I’m ready…”, Jason nods back and gives me a long hug. Without me expecting, Jason lightly kissed my cheek. I felt my cheeks get warm as I chuckled in amusement of this. Jason smiles, chuckling along with me as he gave me one more look before leaving to the warehouse that was set at the back of the store. Our shift doesn’t start until 8:30—and it was only 8! I stayed in the lounge for a little longer before making my way to the warehouse. It felt weird since Vincent wasn’t around. But there was a newbie taking his place for the time being…his name is Jack! (Heath Ledger who played the Joker, from the Batman Trilogy) I see him sitting outside, waiting for the deliveries to arrive I’m guessing. I look over to see Jason walking up to a tall shelf to organize it. As I walk closer to Jack, my heart suddenly races.
I’m not sure why—maybe it’s my ego? I see Jack clear as day as he is wearing shades. But I also noticed the slits at the corners of his mouth. People had been telling me he likes to wear “clown makeup” and had gotten these scars from his early childhood. Deep inside, I felt kind of bad for him. Without warning, I noticed Jack had quickly shifted his attention from the ground to me as he said, “Well heyyy dollface! Are you ready for work?”, I jumped just a little at how he came at me as I got closer to him, leaning myself up against the wall, nodding to his question. “Hopefully it won’t be too hectic…”, I hear Jack scoff. “You never know…”, I smile faintly to his words as he smiles faintly back at me. I was going through my thoughts when I noticed Jack standing and coming over towards me. “Y’know…we could, uh, keep in touch—you and me…”,
My cheeks felt warm as he licked the sides of his mouth, shoving a folded-up card into my hand. I stare at him as he walks over towards Jason to greet him. I look back to my hand and unfolded it to see it was a number written on a Joker Card—found by playing those card games. Is he for real doing this? I get to text Jack? Just me? Of all women in the world, he picks me? I sighed to myself as I stuffed it into my pocket for later. The truck finally arrives as he started unloading the crates that carried fresh produce and meats. Some co-workers who work at the front of the store came in to get those boxes we’ve taken out of the crates. We were finally on break at 2:30…and our break ends at 3:15.
It's not much of a break—but it will have to do! I’m wandering through the warehouse, and I instantly see Jack smoking at the same exact spot from this morning. I went over to him, standing near him against the wall as I asked, “So—got anything you wanna talk of? Are you looking for a new job? Is this one temporary?”, Jack puffed out some smoke before replying, “Well—I plan on moving out of the dumpy city…and to live free and large…”, He gave me his creepy smile before smoking another puff of smoke. I smiled back in a fake way as I sat near him, crossing my legs. I was daydreaming a little when smoke was blew into my face.
I coughed some as I waved my hand around to waft the smoke away. “Hey dollface—I’m talking to you!”, I giggled slightly, with him giggling along with me, knowing he was only joking around. Time must’ve flown as Jason interrupted our little moment, saying we needed to get back to work. After all the deliveries came in, the time was now 4:30 and the trucks have stopped coming in for the day. Yet, it’s a bit early for some reason. I was putting boxes with canned goods inside on a shelf when Jason came over to me, trying to scare me. I didn’t flinch one bit. I sighed and turned to him. “Y’know Jason, you really need to work on that…”, I gave a little chuckle as Jason chuckles along with me. After a few minutes of organizing and stocking a few things, my phone rang. I picked it up to hear it was Vincent’s mom again. “Hey Jessie’, are you almost off of work yet?”, She talks to me like I was her best friend or something…yet I don’t know her very well. I quickly turned to see the wall reading 5:15. “Oh yeah—I’m almost done!”, I quickly replied. “Okay well—I’m here at the hospital…if you are wanting to visit, now’s the time because doctors won’t let visitors see him anymore…”, My heart felt like dropping out. Not see him anymore? Are you kidding? “Alright, I’m on my way…”,
I quickly hang up and shoved my phone into my pocket. Jason was standing there with a sad empathetic look on his face. “I can take you…”, He said lowly. I shook my head at him. “No, I’ll be fine…thanks anyways Jason…”, I go over to him, standing on my tippy toes to give his cheek a light kiss, returning his gesture he gave me from this morning. Jason smiles and hugs me tightly in return. From afar, I could see Jack was nearby and noticed what he had witnessed. Looking jealous, he gathers up his stuff and leaves. I sighed as I released Jason, seeing him give me one last look before walking off to the lounge as I follow, quickly gathering my stuff as well before heading out of the store to the parking lot, with Jason trailing behind me, going to his car. It was sweet of him to take me to the hospital, but I rather go alone. I’m on my way there when my phone rings yet again—but it was only my friend Janet! (My irl friend Britney) “Hey Janet! Um, why are you calling?”, I can hear Janet sigh a little before responding. “I hope you aren’t too busy…I need help with something…”, “Alright, well let me visit the hospital first and I’ll swing by your place when I’m done, alright?”, “Alright..”,
With that, I hung up and arrived at the hospital. I’m walking up to the receptionist to ask where my friend Vincent is. “Oh, he is just down the hall to the left…”, I gave her a thank you and proceeded down the hall. Vincent’s mom was sitting out by the door when she noticed me. “Took you long enough to get here…”, She got up and gave me a light hug, also adding that I could go in. As I did, I see Vincent, laying almost lifeless on the hospital bed. I sat next to him in a chair, gently grabbing onto his limp hand. “I’m sorry Vincent…I should’ve been there…”, “You should have, but there was nothing you could’ve done…”, A voice startles me from behind. I turn to only see a doctor checking out Vincent’s X-rays. “Oh, sorry, I thought I was the only one in the room…”, The doctor only shook his head and made a flinging gesture with his hand. “No, no it’s alright…I’m Doctor Bridgeworth by the way…but you can call me Stanley…”, (Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki). I stand and shake his hand to greet him.
“Will he be okay?”, I ask, sitting back down in my chair. “He’s quite stable for now…but he might have to stay on life support just for a few more days…other than that, he should be fine in a couple of weeks give ‘er take…”, I gave a slow frustrated sigh. Stanley noticed my mood and patted my shoulder, giving it a small squeeze. “It will be alright…a couple of weeks go by very fast…”, He gave a wide smile as he left out of the room, on his way to tend to other patients probably. After the visit, I went straight to Janet’s house, wondering what she could possibly want help with. As I entered her house, I saw everything was in disarray! “Janet?”, I tried calling out her name. No answer. I take a look around her living room, seeing her coffee table was flipped over, couch pillows littered onto the floor, her lamp laying on the floor also. “Janet?!”, I yell out her name this time. Still no answer. My heart starts racing. I rush to where her room is but as I just opened the door, a guy wearing clown-like makeup and purple colored attire was standing there with a knife quickly pointed towards me.
He suddenly realized who I was as he lowered it. I realized who he was too—Jack! “Jack? What are you…doing here?”, Jack only giggled to himself as he slowly stalks around Janet’s room. “Well, y’know me…just taking care of some business…”, He licked his lips and walked over to me. “Where is my friend?”, I growled to him, standing in front of him, making sure not to let him walk away without an answer. His eyes flicker on me from head to toe before answering, “She’s in the bathroom…”, He points over my shoulder to a door that was behind me. I quickly go over to open it, finding her tied up and sitting on the toilet seat. I went over and released her from the ropes around her waist and ankles. She hugs me tightly in return. She then stands to take a small handgun that was hidden in the waistband of her pants, pointing it directly to Jack. Jack only shot up his hands in a jokingly manner as he laughs faintly. “Janet! No! He’s okay…he just thought you were a bad guy or something…”, I look to Jack, seeing that he liked my excuse by his lips curling into a smile.
Janet lowered the gun with a sigh. “I’m…NOT having that psychopath be here for the night…make him leave Jessica, please!”, She begs me, giving me a little push on my arm. But I had cut her off, telling her to go fix up her living room a bit. Seeing her walk away, I grab Jack’s hand and led him outside. “Come on Jack! I know you’re better than this…”, Jack only licked his lips in response and giggles. I sighed frustratingly and tried to walk back into the house but Jack grabs me by my arm to stop me. “What’s the matter doll, hmm? I’m just having a little bit of fun…it’s not like I’m causing chaos…”, I only looked at him blankly. Jack inches a little closer to me. “Look, Jessica…as long as nobody is hurting you…I’m not hurting anyone…”, He was caressing my hand that he was still holding. Without myself thinking, I quickly hugged him as I felt him instantly hug back, but I told him to go. “See yah at work doll face!”, He tells me as he skipped into the shadows. I sighed to myself as I go back inside to help Janet with her house.
It took forever but we managed to fix up the living room and some of her room as well. It took as long as midnight had arrived. I was half-asleep on the couch—I could still see and hear my surroundings a little. I watch through my half-opened eyelid, seeing Janet open the door as Jason slowly enters. I could see Janet putting a finger to her lips, signaling Jason to be quiet as she points me to the couch I’m lying on. I only see Jason respond with a nod as he hangs his coat up to dry. Janet walks back to the kitchen as Jason comes over, squatting down in front of me. I squeeze my eyelid back shut as I feel him softly caress my forehead, giving me a light kiss for comfort. After what felt like hours—but I might’ve passed out, I woke up to check my surroundings. All was dark except for a lamp light near my feet. I sat up fully, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I look to the clock on the wall reading 3:45. Nowhere near time to get ready for work. I stand as I make my way to the kitchen. Jason was there drinking on some decaf—but his presence startled me. “Oh, Jason…I thought you were asleep…and yet, you usually sleep on your breaks!”, I sat myself next to him as I hear Jason sigh. “Well, not tonight…”, The feeling of concern swells up inside me as I replied, “Why? What’s wrong?”, Jason sighs again. I got up to hug him around his neck, trying to make him feel more at ease. I feel him hug back, squeezing my arms firmly, having a tight hold of me. After chitchatting and staring contests, we eventually got ready for work as we both drove, following each other to the store. Janet works too but she works as a receptionist in an office building not too far away from where I work.
I got out of my car after I parked as I made my way into the store. As I dropped my things off in the lounge, Jason comes up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. “Jason what are you doing?”, I ask him. Jason gives my cheek a peck as he says, “I don’t know, just felt like doing it…”, I giggled at his response as I gently force his arms off of me, giving him a playful push as he give me a playful push back. As we made our way to the back, Jack was already here, stacking boxes here and there. As soon as Jason walks off to check for the truck’s arrival, I went over to Jack to greet him. “Hey Jack!”, I punch him softly on the shoulder. Jack only grinned and turned to face me. “Hey doll…nice to see you showing up at work…”, I rolled my eyes and quickly hugged him. “Don’t let your boyfriend see this…”, He added. I got out of the hug to notice his voice thickening with light jealousy. “What, are you jealous or something?”, Jack looked embarrassed and turned back to face the boxes he was unpacking. “Jack, it’s okay, you can tell me…”, I tried placing a hand on his shoulder, but he flinched away. “No…no it’s noT…”, He only said that as he walked off to another pile of boxes that needed to be unpacked. Feeling bad, I continued to onward with my shift.
Once the end of the day came, I was busy packing up my things in the lounge when Jack came in. He went over and sat in this chair that was nearby. I suddenly get the courage to say, “I’m sorry Jack…I didn’t mean it that way…”, Jack sat there for a good minute before getting up as he stood near me, closing my locker door for me. “If you were going to be sorry, you should have said it in the first place…”, “Well, I am!”, I quickly hug on him, the second time, as I feel him go stiff for a minute, but he was able to relax into it and hug me back. “D’you wanna come over to my place then? Hmm?”, He had asked me as he was stroking my back in small circles. I was just about to answer him with I heard Jason had barged in to take notice of our little moment. He stands there, his face forming into anger. “Jason! What are you doing here?”, I asked, pushing myself out of Jack’s arms, moving him to the side a little. Jason only grabs his bag and leaves with a huff. I hear Jack giggle to himself as he walks over to his locker. I slumped into the chair Jack was sitting in earlier, feeling confusion swell in my brain. “What’s wrong dollface? Hm?”, I only stared at the floor, not answering him. He takes notice of my silence as he walks over to me, squatting down in front of me. “Doll—it’s all okay…in the end, it wouldn’t matter, Jason will dump you and move on to some other chick…he would then bcome a worthless piece of—“, “I know Jack! I know…”, I only smile faintly at his words, looking up to see him. Jack matches my smile as he caresses my cheek.
Out of nowhere, he kisses me on my forehead and leaves. Well, that caught me off guard! As I’m driving home, my phone rings. I picked it up to hear it was Vincent on the other end! “Vincent! Oh my God, are you okay? I thought you were still on life support!”, Vincent was silent, but he only said, “Meet me at the hospital…”, He then hangs up. This is not like Vincent at all. By the time I got to the hospital, it was 8:15. I got out of my car and rushed to the lobby. As I am, flashbacks of me and Jack appear in my mind out of nowhere for some reason. My heart sinks, feeling like he may be here and holding him hostage like he did with Janet! I booked my way to his room, pushing the door open to find Vincent by himself, sitting up and relaxing, being on his phone. He noticed me having a worried look. “What’s good, Jessica!”, He threw both of his hands, throwing peace signs. I chuckle at that as I rushed over to hug him tightly. “I’m so glad you’re okay!”, Vincent hugs me back, rubbing my back in a soft manner. “I’m glad you are too…”,
After the visit, I went home to find my bedroom a mess! Did Jack do this? Was he still mad? I was starting to clean up when Jack appeared from the shadows. “Nah ah ah…I made this mess for a reason…”, I shoved my bag into my closet. “For what? So you can make me change my mind? It’s not working for you!”, Jack inched closer and held my face in his gloved hands, but not too tightly as I struggle in his grasp. “I need you to know somethin’ dollface…”, Without hesitation, he mashed his lips upon mines as I can’t help but quickly melt into. It lasted 6 seconds until he pulled away, with me being released from his grasp. I stand there, feeling confused yet again. “What was that for?”, I asked, with Jack still having his arms around my waist. He didn’t say anything for a few moments as he was staring at my features. “Well, isn’t it obvious? I see that blush on your face…I see the way you look at me…”, I only smile and wrap my arms around his neck to embrace him, feeling him embrace me back. Afterwards, Jack helped me clean up my room before falling asleep on my bed, feeling Jack tuck me in with a kiss to my forehead.
When morning came, I stirred up to find a paper note lying next to me on my nightstand. I sat up and took it reading:
“ ’morning dollface! I had put you to bed last night, I’m guessing you’re already aware—but just to let you know I’m not coming to work today…I got some unfinished business…I’ll see you around though!
-J :) “,
I sighed to myself what Jack had wrote. Today would be the day I’ll have to suffer through without Jack. But at least Jason will be there. IF Jason will be there…it depends. But I eventually got up and ready for work. Just slipping on my jacket, a folded-up card slips out of it. Jack’s number! I quickly pick it up, having this sinking feeling that I should take it with me as I shoved it into my pocket. As I’m driving, I was trying to call Janet, but she wasn’t picking up. She’s been silent for a while. I hope she’s okay! I parked my car in the parking lot and went inside the store. It wasn’t open just yet as the isles were empty and there were no customer cars, just employee cars. I sadly turned to look out of the window to notice but to also notice Jack’s car missing in the lot. I memorized the color of it. A mix of blue and purple with flame design on it. And it was a Camero! I was still looking out of the window when I felt a hand was placed on my shoulder. I turned to see it was Jason. “Oh! Hey! Jason…look…I’m sorry about yesterday…I can explain!”, Jason only smiled and nods, but I can tell Jason was still angry and that something was wrong…with him! Without a word or warning, I got hit on the head by a large book of some kind. I felt myself fall onto the floor out cold.
When I work up, my vision was blurry but cleared up enough for me to see I was being held hostage, in a store warehouse. “Some tactic, huh?”, I said out loud, feeling Jason’s presence was behind me. I writhe around, feeling the ropes tied around my hands and ankles, no using getting out of them. “Nobody and can hear you, nobody and save you…”, Jason’s words flew out of his mouth. Those words were unrecognizable. Nobody? Not even…Jack? Then the idea hits me…I remember Jack giving me his number a few days ago…I still have it on me! If I could just call him to let him know, he’ll come rescue me! I cleared my throat to say, “Can I at LEAST—have my phone call? Please! Before you do anything else?”, Jason walks around me, as if he was trying to read my mind to see if I was calling for help or something. He walked around some more before releasing my restraints. “Only one…”, He told me, handing me my phone. As he left to give me privacy, I pulled out Jack’s number, which was that Joker card and dialed in the numbers. Yet, I had a feeling his number would come in handy at some point. A few rings rang in my ear until I hear him pick up. My heart starts pounding in my chest, as I think Jason might be listening in. “Heyyy dolly doll…I’m kinda busy here at the moment—“, “Jack! Listen to me! I need your help! I need help! Please! I’ve been captured! I…”,
I tried to be quiet as much as I could but before I could get my last sentence out, Jason barged back in and snatched up my phone. He then smashed it into the hard concrete floor. Guess I’m going to have to get a new phone later! “You’re going to regret it!”, He slaps me without warning, but he did it so hard, I collapse to the floor. I tried sitting up, but Jason kicks me back down. I wonder what happened to Jason…what did he do? Was jealousy taking over him? All of a sudden, he knocks me out with one punch…not sure with what.

Jack’s (The Joker) POV:
I quickly got her message. She was in trouble. And I knew that Jason was no good. I shoved my phone back in my coat pocket and rallied up some of my men to go look for her. One came back and told me where she was. She was located in this warehouse—of the store I reluctantly work at. I gathered my mend as we all piled into a truck to leave. As we came upon the store, nobody was there except Jessica’s car and that lying prick’s car. I hopped off the truck and strode inside. My mend searched the store for any signs as I searched for dollface. I went inside the warehouse, and there she was…laying on the floor, out cold. I quickly went over to her and checked her out. Her face had a red spit on it, her breathing was labored…I have to help her in some way and fast.
-------------
Back to my POV:
Everything was black, I didn’t know how long I was out, but I woke up and I was in my room. I sat up to take a look around—clean, organized and dark. I slowly stood to my feet, going over to cut on one of my lamps so I could see more better. I was about to sit at my desk when I noticed a sticky note posted on the edge. I picked it to read:
“ I was able to find and save you dollface—don’t worry, you are safe, and Jason is taken care of…I’m not sure for how long…catch you around!
-J “,
I sighed to myself, sinking into my chair more. At least someone has my back! And yet, I never knew Jason was plotting against my back this whole time…I wished someone, or something warned me about him sooner! I took a moment before exiting my room, feeling my eyes were becoming heavy. I entered the living room to see Janet was here along with Vincent as well. They were both chilling on the couch. And they both must’ve heard what happened to me. Janet rushed up to hug me as soon as she noticed me. Vincent noticed me too as he gets up and walks over to me. “Damn! What happened to you Jessie’?”, Vincent questioned me as Janet released me so he could hug on me.
He had let me out of his embrace so I could answer. “It was Jason…he attempted to kill me…I’m sorry…I put you guys through so much drama already…”, Janet shakes her head and grabs me in for a second hug. “No Jessica! We are your friends…we want to help you when you need it…Jason should be the one who’s sorry…”, I only smiled and sighed. As Janet had let go, I asked, “What do you think about Jack then? Can he stay?”, Once I had said those words, Jack appeared out of nowhere and was smiling his creepy smile. But Vincent got freaked out and pulled out his gun he had in his waistband and shoved it in his face. “Nah ah ah! You wouldn’t wanna do that! We wouldn’t want a mess on this floor, now would we?”, Jack was shaking his finger back and forth, doing this habit of licking the sides of his mouth. I quickly reached for Vincent’s gun and snatched it out of his hands, tossing it to the couch. “Vincent! He’s okay…he won’t hurt you…”, Vincent only hissed a swear word, smacking his teeth as he takes his gun from the couch, flopping himself onto it. Janet was silent during the little moment. She then sighed and turned to Jack who was stifling a giggle but turned serious once he noticed her. “I always thought you were a monster and a psycho…but since you are so keen on keeping Jessica happy, don’t mess this up for yourself…but if you try as so much as lay a finger on her, I swear to God…”, “I know—I know…kill me and uh, pulverize me…I get the jist’ dolly…”, He shot up his hands in reassurance, showing a gleaming smile.
Janet only huffs and makes her way outside to the driveway. Vincent does the same. I sighed to myself and flopped onto the couch. “Don’t get yourself rattled up dollface…at least she’s allowing me to be here and not to, uh, kill me…”, I chuckled at how he said that as he sat himself next to me and rubbed on my thighs gently. What was he trying to do? I sat up straight to look into his eyes. He looked into mine. From what I can tell, he did want me around—he was trying to protect me—he wanted me—only me! In a sudden instance, without more thinking, I pulled him by the collar, capturing his lips with mine. He hummed surprisingly into the kiss as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in. We were interrupted after a moment when Janet had barged in, looking outraged. I quickly got out of Jack’s lap and stood up saying, “Janet! What’s wrong?”, Janet noticed what we were doing but ignored it. “It’s Jason—we just heard word that he’s wreaking havoc at the store…”, It was only 10:30 pm…and things were about to go down.
I looked over to Jack, as he looked like he was ready to fight with someone. I only nod in agreement to leave as we all left to the store. As we got there, several police cars surrounded the building. Luckily, the police weren’t around the entrance, keeping guard, so we allowed ourselves in. We headed down to the warehouse, where there were still no cops around, just destruction! Jason was throwing boxes everywhere, blood stained the floor from him throwing those boxes, getting cuts and splinters. I managed to take a leap of faith and confront him, but a whisper of “Jessica, don’t!” came from Janet’s mouth. I sighed and continued walking over to Jason, who was hunched over against the corner of the wall.
“Jason? I wanna talk…please…”, Jason whips his head around as I saw his face—it was red with tears strolling down his cheeks one by one. “NO! DON’T you even DARE TALK!”, Before I could get a word out, even though I was feeling speechless, Jack quickly got in front of me and held a black rifle-like gun to Jason’s forehead. He probably got that from the storage room. “Time is ticking Jason…are you gonna apologize or do I have to do it for you?”, He clicked the gun against his forehead, loading it. “Jack! Don’t! I can get something out of him, please!”, I begged as I tugged at Jack’s coat. He only flinched me away and kept his gaze on Jason who didn’t look afraid and positioned himself on both of his knees. Without hesitation…BAM! BAM! BAM! Blood spilled out of his head and splattered everywhere. I heard Janet and Vincent gasp from behind. Jason falls lifelessly to the ground, not moving. My eyes were beginning to blur with tears as I buried my face into my hands. Jack drops the gun to the floor and squeezes me into a tight hug. He held me light that for a good minute until I was able to stop crying. The police then came in and dragged both Jason’s body and Jack away.
6 hours later, when Jack was put into prison, I was wanting to stop by for a visit on my way to Janet’s, just so I can see him one last time. They sentenced him to life, but something tells me Jack won’t stick in there long. I was waiting at a table in the visitation room when a buzzer rang, and two doors opened to reveal Jack and two guards behind him. He still had his clown face paint on, but it was a little faded. And his clothes were replaced with an orange jumpsuit. I gasped faintly as I got up to go hug him. Since he was in shackles, I only felt his head snuggle into my neck. The guards evidently broke up our hug and told us we have 5 minutes. I sat across from Jack as he gave me his wide smile. “Miss me, dollface?”, I only nodded and said, “Yeah…it’s weird…but something tells me you’re not gonna last long behind bars, are yah?”, I gave a small smirk towards him. Jack shot one back and shook his head lightly, sinking into his chair. “Don’t worry…I got a plan up my sleeve…and before you know it, I will be with you again…”, He licked the insides of his mouth after saying that. I stifled a chuckle as I repositioned myself in my seat. Jack did the same.
“I only want to ask you one question Jack…hear me out, please…”, Jack went serious. “Alright doll…anything…”, I sucked in a breath and asked the question. “Is it true you protected me cause you…love me?”, I looked down in embarrassment, already regretting the words that came out of my mouth. But in the corner of my eye, I noticed Jack’s lips curling into a smile. “Well, yeah…I guess you could say that…I loved you from the beginning…with my heart…”, I smiled at his words, letting those words seep into my mind. I eventually stood up, having a feeling those 5 minutes were up by the way the guards were looking at us. “Alrighty…I guess I’ll be seeing you Jack…gotta go now and visit a friend…”, Jack stood too with the guards already at his side, taking him away, dragging him to his cell. “Remember dolly doll…I’m getting outta here…even if it takes a heavy heart…”, He called that out over his shoulder as he disappeared behind the doors. I stand there thinking, “A heavy heart? Really? I hope so, cause we got stuff to catch up on after you escape!”, With that, I left the prison and onto the road to Janet’s house, waiting for Jack’s return!
The End!

If you made it to the end, congrats!!! I did not know it was THIS long…it seemed so short typed up on my pad…if you like it, then I thank you…I don’t expect myself to make a part two to this so…hopefully you enjoyed!
Here is yet another “cringy” random story I created 3 years ago…I involve myself and my old friends in it again, will be labeled with parentheses. The story takes place during middle school years, like the 8th grade…hopefully you’ll enjoy!

The Other Friend?
Rating: PG-13 for…Horror-like themes, sensuality/mentions of s3x and very brief thematic elements.
It was 12 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep anymore. Not for what had happened yesterday. A boy I befriended was defending for me…from this other boy who was making fun of me…he did the worse and did a number on him…leaving the boy unconscious. It was like a shield of protection…sealing me off from the bad people. I grabbed my phone beside me and saw somebody had texted me…it was Chase. The boy I befriended! How on earth did we get like this? “Are you up?”, his message read. I sighed and stared at the ceiling. I had this feeling if I was going to be up, Chase would be up too. I swiped to Messages to reply, “Yeah…what do you want?”, I waited a little bit and saw him typing back. “Do you like me still as a friend or more?”, I became downright confused. Why would he ask this kind of question out of the blue? I didn’t know what to say…but a FaceTime call came on. It was him trying to call me. I slowly breathed in and out before accepting the call. When his screen came into view, I noticed his bedroom was dark and I couldn’t see his face. “Do you like me or not?”, His voice was stern sounding. “I can’t answer that…”, I tell him, feeling my voice tremble.
He was quiet for a moment. I then saw a big kitchen knife come into view. My eyes instantly stinged with tears. “You’re too pretty to die…”, His softened voice was now starting to freak me out. I swallowed and replied saying, “Well, if I were to like you…would you not kill me?”, He was hesitant. “No, of course I wouldn’t…but are you afraid to die, Lola? (Me)”, I sat up in my bed, checking my surroundings to see if he would pop out somewhere. I looked back to my phone to notice his face come into view. I took notice of his ghostly, almost demonic eyes, his white caramel skin glowed. And his creepy smile formed on his lips. Even though I was taken by his features, I got rid of that feeling and said, “No but…can I think about it? About us?”, He quickly got out of view of the camera. “You got 24 hours…”, He then hung up. My friends are NOT going to like this. I went back to sleep but not long enough for my alarm to go off. I got dressed and ready for the day. I went past my parents' bedroom to find them still asleep. I rushed downstairs, grabbed my breakfast and headed out the door.
As I got on the bus, and took my seat, my friend Elizebeth (My old irl friend named Citlaly) sat next to me with a hug. As I withdrew, I mentioned to her about Chase. Elizebeth’s face scrunches up in slight disgust. “Why can’t he leave you alone?”, She asked. I could only shrug. “Well, we need to do something about him then…he thinks he’s in a ‘love at first sight’ tale!”, I scoffed at her words, gloomily looking out the window as I noticed it started to rain. When we got to the school, Elizebeth suggested she should take me to class and not wait around for the bell to ring. As we were going, I kept on checking my surroundings for Chase. We have the same lunch together evidently and he would try to scare me sometimes. I also had this feeling that he was following us. But to my dismay, we were going up the stairs in the stairwell when out of nowhere, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder as I turn around to see it was Chase himself. “Hi Lola!”, He greeted. “Oh, hey Chase! Didn’t see you there!”, I jokingly told him, with Chase letting out a creepy-like chuckle. “Meet me outside during lunch, alright?”, I only gave him a nod and waved to him as he walked up the steps, going to his class. I gave a small, relieved sigh and looked to Elizebeth who was looking uncomfortable.
Throughout my classes, Chase was on my mind like super glue. I think I should like him, so he wouldn’t be so mad at me and leave me alone…but maybe I shouldn’t and die anyways. Great! I’m torn between the two. When lunch came, finally, my heart was racing, and my hands were becoming clammy as I was searching for Chase. I checked outside the breezeway—and there he was—leaning against on one of the support beams, waiting for me. As I got near him, he had looked up from his phone and gave me one of his creepy smirks, one that would give you goosebumps. He walks up to hug me. As I hugged back, he whispers into my ear asking, “Have you thought about my question?”, As he released each other, I glanced to the ground, thinking. I could feel his hand slither into mine, using his thumb to rub small circles. “I need to think some more if that’s okay with you…”, I gently took my hand away. Chase gave an impatient sigh and walked off without another word. That little voice nags at me again…should I or should I not like him?
I turned around to notice Elizebeth and Molly (My old irl friend Britney), my other friend, walking towards me. Molly rushed up to hug me. “Are you okay, Lola?”, She asks me, her voice full of concern. I could only nod. “Yeah…I’m fine…”, Molly pulled away and gave me one of her stern looks you can’t look away from. As lunch was coming to an end, the time to answer Chase’s question was coming to an end too. And my anxiety replaced my neutral mood. At the end of the day, I was about to walk outside the doors when Chase came up to me. I quickly hugged on him whispering, “I like you Chase…I like you…”, I felt Chase’s hands softly rub over my back. “I like you too Lola…”, I let out a nervous chuckle and kissed him quickly on the cheek as I released him. “See yah!”, I added before quickly running off. As I am, I looked over my shoulder to see Chase smiling to himself. That should shut him up! As I got home and opened the door, I found my mom lying on the couch looking at TV. “Hey hon’…how was your day?”, She asked me. I dropped my stuff off near the door replying, “It was great…I guess…”, I slowly walked to the kitchen, grabbing me a snack.
As I did and went upstairs, I noticed Dad in the bedroom working on some paperwork. “Hey dad!”, I waved to him to let him know I was here. But he only waved back without even looking at me. I’m guessing dad is NOT in the mood today! As I closed my door and collapsed on the bed, my phone vibrates in my pocket. I took it out to see Chase had sent me a message. I unlocked my phone with it reading, “Wanna sneak out of your house tonight?”, I felt a cold shiver run all over my body. He’s really trying to get me in trouble! I replied saying , “How? Why?”, I waited a few seconds to see him typing back. “You can sneak out your window…plus I want to see you!”, I texted back saying. “Okay…where do you want us to meet?”, As I was waiting for him to reply, I got dressed into something more comfortable. When I was done, I plopped back on the bed to see Chase’s answer. “I want us to meet at my place…my mom will be fast asleep, so it’ll just be me and you being up all night…”, After he sent that message, he sent me directions to his house. I study those directions, noticing that he’s literally down the street from me! I sighed replying, “Okay…see you then!”, Chase sent in return a kissing emoji. I didn’t even bother sending an emoji back to him!
At dinner, I was forking through my mashed potatoes when my mom had realized my mood. “Sweetie, what’s going on? You look irritated…”, I glanced at both my mom and dad before looking back at my plate. I fell in love with a scary person—that’s what’s going on! I wanted to tell them that, but I kept that to myself. I only told them, “It’s just school being a pain…”, I could see my mom only look to my dad, probably thinking something else was wrong. When it was bedtime, I noticed the time was 10:15 pm…he was wanting me to sneak out of the house at 2. When 2am arrived, I sat up in my bed to look around my room. I guess it’s time! I got up from my bed quietly and got dressed. After I finished everything else, I propped my pillows under my sheets to fool my parents I’m still in bed. After that, I slowly opened my window and climbed out. I was now walking down the sidewalk to Chase’s house…and I can’t believe I’m doing this! Yet—I’m gonna get in super big trouble for this! I finally made it to his house. I saw a bedroom window was open and there was Chase, sitting nearby it. He noticed me and gave me a wave. I waved back as I see Chase disappear from the window, probably going to go open the door. As he had opened it, he rushed towards me for a hug. I hugged back tightly saying, “You know I’m gonna get in trouble for this, right?”, Chase released me as he shrugged. “So? I got your back if anything backfires…”, He grabs my hand and leads me inside his house.
We were going upstairs to his room, with me not seeing anything since it was dark. But I was holding onto Chase’s hand for guidance. When we stepped into his room, Chase closed the door and sat on his bed. The only light he had was a lamp at his desk. “Nice room…”, I complimented. “Thanks…come here, I wanna tell you something…”, Chase patted the empty space next to him. I slowly walked over to sit down. He then started to hug me. As I was hugging back, I noticed over on his desk…the knife he showed me on camera! I quickly got out of the hug and jumped up crying, “Please don’t kill me…please!”, Tears were already stinging my eyes again. Chase got up, flying his hands out saying, “No Lola, you did what you were told…I’m not gonna kill you…”, He went over to his desk to hide away his knife. He then came up to me and kissed my cheek. “I love you Lola…”, He added. I wiped away a tear that got loose and smiled as I hugged on him. I felt him hug back, seeing the clock on the wall read: 2:30. “Chase…shouldn’t we get going?”, I asked, still hugging on him. I felt Chase shake his head. “No…I wanna spend more time with you…”,
He pulls away from the hug as he leans in to kiss me on the lips this time. His lips were different…they were slightly cold and chapped…and almost tasted like blood for some reason. As we stopped, I took notice of his eyes turning almost demonic looking again. “Why do your eyes do that?”, I had to ask him. He quickly glanced to the floor, looking embarrassed now, his eyes returning to normal. “I don’t mean to make fun of or anything…”, I added. Chase was still looking to the floor. I now regret what I said! I was staring to the floor too momentarily when I finally heard him say, “That usually happens when…I’m in love with somebody…”, I looked to him. For real? All for that? “That’s cool!”, I told him surprisingly. “It is?” “Yeah, having power like that must be really cool…”, Chase smiles as he goes over to his walk-in closet to change. “You should get some sleep Lola…sleep here with me!”, I heard him as I looked to his bed…which looked kinda small! “Um…your bed is too small…”, I told him. He comes out of his closet shirtless with sweatpants on. He comes up to me saying, “It doesn't have to be…”, I was still looking at his bed when he quickly gave me a syringe injection on my neck. “This is just to relax you…not to kill you…”, He added in reassurance before quickly taking it out. I could feel the effects already!
I laid on his bed and went in and out of sleep. I must’ve passed out fully when I woke to see the sun rays peeking through Chase’s window…it was morning! Shoot…my parents are gonna find out! I sat up to find Chase still asleep next to me. I quietly got up to find my clothes. As I picked up my pants…a condom wrapper fell out of it. Wait…that can’t be! Did we just do it last night? Or am I hallucinating from the drug? I turn to see Chase being awake and sitting up, staring at me. I dropped my pants and picked up the wrapper saying, “Did we just…last night?”, I saw Chase was nodding his head. My heart feels like dropping out. “That’s why I gave you that injection…so you won’t get scared…”, He tells me. Thanks a lot Chase! You made me lose my virginity! I dropped the wrapper and started to hyperventilate a little. Chase gets up to comfort me. “It’s okay Lola…nobody knows but us…nobody should know…okay?”, I could only nod my head as I picked up my clothes and started getting dressed in them.
I was still freaking out a bit when a woman enters, looking like Chase’s mom. She did NOT look happy. She noticed me rather quickly and gave me an angry glare. “Who the hell is this? Get her out Chase! NOW!” “Okay mom…okay!”, Chase grabs a hold of my hand and leads me downstairs to the front door. “I’ll see you later, alright?”, Chase was hugging me. I hugged him back asking, “Will you be at school?”, Chase shook his head quickly adding, “Remember, don’t tell anybody!”, I only replied, “Okay…”, as he pushed me out the door and closed it. I didn’t want to confront my parents…but on second thought they must be really worried. As I came upon my house, I see my dad sitting on the porch…he must’ve been waiting for me all night last night. As I walked up the steps, dad came bulldozing over towards me for a hug. “HONEY! SHE’S BACK!!!”, Dad had shouted. Mom came rushing out the door to see him, coming over for a hug as well. “Sweetie! Oh my God…where have you been? Why would you sneak out the house like that?”, I didn’t really have an answer for them, so I only continued to hug them.
My parents grounded me for a few weeks…I kept going to and fro from school with Chase not being there. But there was the day I saw him! It was at lunch. I’m walking down the hallway and noticed him leaning against the wall. As I ran up to him, I see him looking down to the floor, with his eyes being a different color than usual, as there was literally fire in them! “Chase? Are you okay?”, I asked him, still seeing Chase continue looking to the floor in an angry manner. I couldn’t help but to go up to him, wrapping my arms around his neck to embrace him. He didn’t hug back but I could tell he still needed one. After a moment though, I felt his hands go across my waist. “I’m really sorry Lola…I’m just angry at what my mom said to me last night…”, His first apology to me! I slowly pulled away asking, “What…did she say?”, Before Chase could tell me, Elizebeth and Molly came over needing my help.
“Guys, can it wait? I’m talking with Chase right now!”, Elizebeth grabbed my hand saying, “No it can’t! Come on…”, As she was dragging me, I looked to see Chase frowning, slouching back against the wall. My heart sinks. After what Elizebeth and Molly thought was important, with them checking up on me, I rushed back out to find Chase. He wasn’t standing against the wall anymore. I checked the cafeteria, and there he was, sitting off to the side by himself. I joined him as I sat in front of him. “Okay…where were we?”, I noticed Chase had tears in his eyes now…he was crying. “Chase…what’s wrong? You can tell me…”, Chase kept on looking to the floor, avoiding my gaze. I watch his tears slowly stream down his cheeks, one by one. I hate seeing him like this! I was looking around to see if people were noticing him…not one person! I got up and grabbed his hand. “Let’s go get some air…”, Chase reluctantly follows me, hand in hand. As we were walking, Chase was still looking a bit sad. At least he stopped crying as well. We just stepped outside in the breezeway when I stopped in front of him to kiss him on the cheek.
His mood instantly shifts as he finally makes eye contact with me, smiling his creepy smile. “Thanks Lola…I think I needed that…”, I smile back at him as he hugged on me. I instantly returned it, knowing Chase is more than “the other friend” now…he’s my boyfriend and I’m thankful for him. When the end of the day came, Elizebeth and Molly both said they will be more of a better friend to Chase. “I hope you all are not lying!”, I was staring them down. “No Lola…we aren’t…we really want to get to know him better…”, Elizebeth had reassured me. I only nod to them as Chase came up beside me and kissed me on the cheek. “Bye Lola…text me when you can!”, We both hugged each other, Elizebeth and Molly too for the last time, as summer break was starting. “Okay…I’ll do my best…”, I kissed him back on the cheek as his eyes were turning almost ghostly demonic looking again. As me, Elizebeth and Molly all left for the bus, my heart was feeling full of satisfaction. I got on my bus, with a final wave to my friends, and I knew right then and there, my life with my friends and Chase is just the beginning!
The End!
--
If you made it to the end, I thank you! This is just a random story I made that came to mind for some reason…if you liked this, then great! But don’t expect a part 2…I tried making one, I was just a paragraph in when I lost interest…deleted it….writer’s block sure is a piece of shit! lol
APPARENTLY, I had lost power yesterday since from 7 in the evening up until it was 2 in the morning today…so, inspiration had struck me to make this short story of me and Cal:
The whole city had lost its power. All the towers and Skyscrapers went dark, all the street lights were off. Me and Cal were trying to find our way back to our apartment, not seeing anything since it was so dark. Holding onto his hand, he takes his lightsaber to ignite it, his blue blade illuminating our path. “Is that better?”, he mutters to me, glancing over with a small faint smile on his lips. I matched his smile as I nod. ”Yeah…come on, we’re almost there!”, I start walking ahead, tugging Cal along, feeling his grip tighten in my hand. Upon arriving to the apartment, I could see Bode was here and he was waiting outside of our apartment door, having a flashlight in hand. He noticed us approaching as his brows furrowed in worry.
“What happened?”, He asked as we got closer to him. I could only sigh, as I try to explain this situation to Bode. “The city just went poof! Off with the power…this happens all the time…for some reason…”, I could only see Bode roll his eyes. “No wonder everything got dark so quickly…”, Cal went up to Bode, placing a hand on his shoulder. “We plan on going down to the station…they have power there…you comin’?”, I see Bode nod. ”Yeah…I’ll meet you guys up there…”, Cal gives his shoulder a pat, retaking my hand in his as we tread through the dark streets again, only to see a light illuminating in the distance. “That’s the station!”, I point out, seeing Cal put up his blade. “I see it…”, As we had both came upon the station, there were a lot of people there…all complaining the same thing…the power.
The mayor of the city was there, trying his best to keep the people calm. He stands onto this tier to grab everyone’s attention. “Everyone! The city is just experiencing a malfunction…we’ll get the power up and running in just a moment…please, be patient!”, Everyone is still complaining, sighing and mumbling under their breaths. I hear Cal sigh as he looks over to me with a “something’s not right” look. Bode was able to catch up to us as we had discussed what the real issue was. “It’s their new generator they’re using for that tower…”, Bode points ahead of him as we follow his direction, seeing a tall tower in the distance illuminating. I groan under my breath. “That’s the mayor’s tower…he has backup generators…”, Bode sighs, shaking his head in disbelief. “There’s gotta be something that’s causing this outage…”, I see Cal was thinking. “I think I know where to look…follow me…”, Cal starts walking ahead as me and Bode follow him, with Bode shining a flashlight for us.
We had followed Cal to this small power plant with the gates surrounding it being locked up tight. He points to this wide shaped antenna, seeing someone had damaged it–markings covered the axis along with it being bent out of shape. “Whoever was here, they probably did it on purpose…”, I felt irritation flood inside me. “Are you serious?!”, I hear Bode chuckle, gently nudging my arm. “Hey, it could be worse…do you think you can fix it Cal?”, Cal is standing there, running finger through his small beard. “I think so…but BD is back on the ship…and Merrin’s not here…”, I look behind me, barely getting a glimpse of our ship sitting from afar. I sighed to myself. “Well…what’s the plan?”, I look back to Cal as he points to the antenna.
“If I can get up there, I can try to force the antenna back to its original position…”, I nod as I look to Bode, who was nodding along with me. “Okay…worth a shot I guess…”, Cal nods back, going to the gates as he forces them open with his Force power. Upon entering the plant, we could see the antenna was not the only thing that was damaged. The generators of the power plant had multiple knife lacerations to them. I watch as Cal takes out his trusty welding tool he carries on him. “Nothing a little welding couldn’t fix…”, He points to the antenna. “Bode…try to work with the antenna…”, “Copy that!”, I see Bode lift himself up into the air using his jetpack as Cal starts working on trying to fix up the generators.
His welding expertise was working as the laceration markings were starting to fade and mold against the metal. He eventually takes a moment to admire his handiwork. Bode lands himself back onto the ground to also see his handiwork. “Did you fix it?”, he asked, seeing the welding marks before him. Cal sighs. ”It’s the best I can do…”, He points to this big light switch as he gestures to me. “Care to do the honors?”, “Sure!”, I go over to flip the switch as the power plant comes alive, humming to life. The lights to the city start to come on as well. “I think we did it…”, Cal smiles. “Yeah…I think we did…”, I see Bode smile too. “Well are we done then? We need to see if the ship is still intact…”, Cal nods to him as we all went to the ship, seeing it was okay. It was starting to get late as we all went back to the apartment, hoping to get some rest from this little fiasco that we had endured.
The End!
Sorry for the blunt ending…this “power outage” ruined my sleep…so I was rushing to finish this so that I COULD sleep…I still don’t feel well rested from Monday...but I will try to do what I can to rest throughout the day today…
Tell me how we should title it in the comments...
So I just had a very wholesome and unexpected evening
So I was watching some vids about the Olympic Muffin Man, and amongst the videos, I found one with the recipe! I HAD to go to the store and get the ingredients I didn't have on hand. As I was driving through my neighborhood, I saw a lady walking a cute, fluffy dog. The dog looked just like my late dog Kati. For some reason, I actually stopped, rolled down my window, and said, "Your dog is so cute! She reminds me of my old dog." And the nice lady walked up to me and held her dog up to my window so I could pet her. I hadn't expected that! After I gave the pup a few head scratches, I said thank you and continued on my way. After I got to the store and found what I needed, I was headed to the checkout when "I Want it That Way" started playing over the music speakers. I started to sing it quietly to myself, chuckling a bit. And then, as I approached the register, I heard the guy who was busy cleaning the store singing it too. Not quietly. He wasn't embarrassed, he didnt care if anyone heard him. I started to sing a little louder, too. He came over to the register so I could pay for my groceries, we both said "Hi," And then, as I was paying, he began to sing again. So I sang along, too. Now that I'm back home, I've gotten to thinking. I could have easily just thought, "Oh, that's a cute dog," and kept driving to the store. I didn't have to sing along with that store worker, but I did. There is something so beautiful about just interacting with people. As much as I like my alone time, I like to be around people just as much. In Genesis, God stated that "it was not good for man to be alone," so he made Eve. We weren't made to be isolated and alone. We were made to experience and enjoy life together.
So don't be afraid to be yourself around others. You might get to pet a cute puppy or harmonize with a random store worker. :)
Me and my little cousin drew bunny heads
I'm on the right, tried drawing a cat but it looked bad so I think it's more like a bunny. Then my little cousin tried drawing a bunny head on the left and it's a lot better then mine.
She later drew it a body, but I didn't catch a picture of that.
Pareidolia is weird
Today within a door I saw two old, small, grouchy, fat, mostly naked, gay men
The one on the left had a fancy pompous hairstyle that didn't at all fit his long disheveled beard, two itty bitty dot like eyes, a crazy large mouth agape, and a very thin long nose. I decided he was a wizard.
Then I noticed the one on the right who wore a helmet covering their entire face, except for how big and angled slit in an upside and wide V shape, through this you could see their own dot like eyes.
Also, they both stood on these attachments because they are so small, and the only clothes they had were long and drappy sleeves that looked like they came off a robe
And they were holding hands
Sometimes people think they're being helpful when they really aren't
I get it hurts me
I get it physically damaged me
I get in twenty years I will regret it
But if I don't have it, I might not even make it another twenty years
So when I was younger my family would do this thing called comic swap, the idea me and my brother had gotten from a Grian video
Basically you take turns drawing panels of a comic
It's really fun, it's really goofy when only some people are good at drawing, and it's really absurd the way we did it
Well I was going through our old comics and I thought I'd share some panels
I remember learning about this weird, but rather interesting, experiment in PSY 101
I don't remember what it was called though, and don't feel like digging up my download copy of our text book, so take everything I say with a grain of salt
Basically they collected two groups of straight men
One normal group
One homophobic group
Both groups were then set up to measure arousal, and shown clips of lesbian and gay sex. Both, on average, enjoying the lesbian sex. Things get interesting however when looking at the straight men's reactions to gay sex
The normal group, on average, wasn't that aroused
The homophobic group on the other hand very much was
The only thing more interesting then that little tidbit is that our class had a number of openly homophobic guys

So it is Easter. A time to eat candy and have a fun time with your close family and friends. Unless you are me. Will you believe me if I said that today I almost had a panic attack because of candy? Probably not right? Well... I did. And why you may ask, well I know nobody is going to care and it's a bad idea to vent onto the Internet but I need someone or at least somewhere to put my problems and this is a last resort. I may just be acting like a moody teenager but I actually feel like this is a problem. So back on topic, why did I almost have a panic attack over some candy? Well, a long time ago back when I was around the age of 7 I had this big dog that I do not remember the name of. And he was my best best friend! It was early in the year and somebody in my family, not saying who, would abuse the hell out of our dog. I mean he would pull the collar to the point our dog would scream choke and cry, he would yell at him anytime he made the most small sound, beat him if he even tried to poop on the floor and so on and so on. But this dog was my favorite and I always slept with him because i thought he would protect me. I was a very skittish and fearful child at night, and knowing that I had such a big strong dog around made me happy! But I don't know what happened but my dog got really really sick one day. And we couldn't afford a vet, so I had to slowly watch day by day as this dog would get more skinny, puke, shut blood, and shake. Even though he was dying the person (not saying who) would still harm him, and I was like 7 what am I gonna do tell him to stop? Anyways it was late at night and I was munching on these rainbow candy strips and the dog looked at me with the biggest puppy eyes known to man. So being an ignorant and unknowing child I have him one. And about ehhh five minutes later he was starting to hurl blood on the carpet profusely and I watched in fear with a pale face. My grandma was sleeping at the time and the other person who abused the dog was outside smoking. So I watched as the dog 'passed out' in his crate with a bloody mouth and all this blood was on the floor. I looked down at the candy in my hands with rivers of tears streaming down my face and the only thing repeating in my mind was 'this is your fault'. I still think it's my fault to this day, and I'm unsure why. But after that day I never ate rainbow candy again, no rainbow cotton candy, no rainbow types of candy. If it looked like a rainbow, I didn't eat it. And today at easter I was doing an Easter basket hunt with my two brothers (they aren't actually my brothers but it's close enough) and I found my basket. I grabbed it and saw the rainbow candy. I ignored it and as soon as I came up to my room I was in tears sobbing and thinking about all the blood I saw and my dead dog and having flashbacks of when he was abused. And my father came into the room and said "why are you crying?" I didn't tell him. I don't like to talk to my father about my problems, he always turns it into a joke or says I'm being overdramatic. And I was being overdramatic, it was my fault and I was being extremely overdramatic. It happened over 6 years ago, I have no right to be crying over it. But my father sat down with me and gave me the 'disappointed' look. In short words he turned my crying into a joke, and left the room after i smiled. Of course I didn't want to smile, but I wanted to be alone. And after I smiled I just went back to crying. did I have a panic attack? Almost. Did I have a mental breakdown? Yes. Absolutely. But yeah that's about all, you don't need to like share or repost I just needed to get that out in some way. I feel a bit better now, but I probably will never feel truly better about what happened. Thank you for taking time out of your day and reading, it really means the world to me.. goodbye, hope to see you again?
A child sat on the floor, staring up at the copy of the painting of lucifer. All naked flesh and muscles. She started to pray, as she was taught.
“Have you heard of that song, Me and the devil.”
A timely pause for the instruments in her head.
And then again, “walking side by side? It's kinda fun. People use that song to symbolise that they're doomed. How do you feel knowing that you're the bringer of doom to the mediocre?”
Sister Prissca told the class that prayer was conversing with God. So, she always wondered if talking to others worked the same. It must be. She concluded in the end. You can talk alot with someone you really like, after all.
“I sang it in my head today, when I walked down here. Because I'm not allowed here. So everytime I come here, I'm making it more likely that I'll come here again, until I get caught y'know. I'm doomed like that. It's badass, for a kid. Sneaking into old, abandoned buildings. Maybe not for you. You probably tempted bigger people for worse things. Like the war. Do you think I'll grow up to be evil? I hope not. I'm too lazy. Maybe I can be your next mascot of sloth.”
The room smelled of fungus and lung cancer, with hints of dust, mould, and ink. She first used to wear a mask here, until she got too lazy to wear it too.
Masterlist:
Ok so like this is my first post and I wrote this for my English class and I’m really proud of it so enjoy.
Idk if I need to put warnings but mild blood and gore, self harm, panic attacks
Her.
She was so graceful and polite. Never once has she stumbled, she danced through the halls of home, school, anywhere she went. A smile plastered on her lips continuously. One so bright and welcoming anyone would blush, regardless of attraction. Anyone in need would come to her for assistance, she was always willing to help. Her are grades higher than the sky. Every test aced. Her clothes a tight fit on her skinny body sculpted from clay, framing her delicately. She is the perfect daughter. The perfect student. The perfect girlfriend or wife. The perfect person. Yet here I am, her contrasting, embarrassing, underweight, foolish, basic, flawed part. Her failure.
We could once coexist. Perfect and I, an amazing team. I would show when I trip over my own feet, rushing to school after I miss my bus. Perfect would come out when she hid the pain in my newly scraped knees and palms and proceeded to run. An impeccable duo working together to make me appear normal.
Before I knew it though, middle school had started and suddenly I became locked away. The only side anyone could see, would be Perfect. Everyone saw her smile. Everyone saw her as the entity of grace. Everyone liked her. Someone would be falling behind in math and she would go help them. She wasn’t afraid to talk to people, nervous about their opinions. She was who everyone wanted to be friends with, a colleague with. Everyone wanted to be her. The only time I was let out would be when I would cry alone in my room, door locked and blade out, exhausted and drained from the strain Perfect had caused me.
Everything went smoothly for a long time. Perfect in control and ready to seize another day. But I was only getting stronger while locked away. More and more Perfect would crack and I could shine through. It started subtle, a missed assignment here, a stutter there. By the beginning of high school, Perfect was solely held together by glue and scraps of tape. It didn’t take long for everyone to break her.
Perfect’s friend, Lilyana, left her. Lilyana was as perfect as her, only with a bit more fake drama. She claimed that Perfect wasn’t enough for her. She found someone better to associate herself with, Sharon. Both of them said that Perfect was too ‘flawed’. An ironic twist that the one that Perfect despised and locked away, was the one she was told to be.
In my mind, Perfect unlocked my cage.
“You did this! You’re the reason that no one likes us! You made her leave me!” The power in Perfect's voice, if tangible, would have formed lightning and struck me down.
“Me? You locked me out. You made it so that I was only seen when I hurt myself. You made it so I was invisible! How are you blaming this on me?” I spoke calmly yet firmly to counteract Perfect’s screaming.
“We have no one! Lilyana left us! She called me flawed,” her voice broke at the end and her screaming ceased.
A bit of sympathy for Perfect temporarily flooded my mind. “We don’t need her anyway, she wasn’t good for us. She made us someone we aren’t. Lilyana always made us jump through hoops to be her friend, even before you took control. Don’t mourn the loss of someone who was killing us. We can join together again. It’ll be better for everyone,” Perfect searched my eyes frantically. Searching for the lie in my voice. There wasn’t any. “You and I, working together. We can run together. We can be equals again.” a soft smile spread across my face, encouraging Perfect to agree. She didn’t.
“Of course. That’s what you want. You want to be the superior side.”
“Did you not hear me say ‘We can be equals,’?”
“No. No,” a manic laugh ripped from her throat. “You’re lying. I know because that’s what I’d do. You’re manipulating me!”
“No, I’m not manipulating you. I’m not you. Please, just listen to me.”
“No, you want to be better than me. But that’s my job to be superior.”
Perfect conjured a dagger and uncoordinatedly slashed it towards me. I easily dodged, conjuring a knife of my own in the process. Perfect roughly ran forward with both hands clutching the knife, aiming for my head. Swiftly, I drove the knife into Perfect’s lower chest, right in between her left rib cage. Removing the dagger, I stabbed her again, in the same spot but now on the right side. Then again in her stomach.
“I wasn’t going to do this. I really wasn’t,” my voice was shaky like I was going to cry. Even though all the pain Perfect inflicted, I knew she couldn’t run my mind alone.
“Just finish it. Live alone and in pain for the rest of your life. You need me but I don’t need you. So go on, finish it. Let everyone see how flawed you truly are,” her voice too was shaking but from pain rather than emotions. Perfect knew I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t be strong enough without her.
Perfect’s bloody body was barely clinging to life. All I truly had to do was leave her there for twenty minutes, let blood loss do the job for me. But I have to do as she says, as I always have had to. I rested the knife to her throat and muttered a brief ‘as you wish’ and slit her throat.
Opening my eyes, I glance around my room. I was coming down from the emotions of my third panic attack this week. But I finally won. I have no one to lock me away anymore. No one to degrade me anymore. No one to call me flawed anymore, because I had killed her.
i was in phys ed today playing a game of capture the flag when a random cat just showed up. the game just changed to our team getting distracted by the cat.
