Apothisexual meaning:

It is another word for sex-repulsed. For some apothisexuals, they are averse to the idea of engaging in sex themselves, but are fine with sexual activity that does not involve them. Others may be repulsed by the idea of sex in general. Those who are apothisexual typically do not seek out sexual relationships.

I didn't come out as Aegosexual/romantic for two reasons.

(the bigger part) I didn't know about aegosexuality/romanticism when I came out and

I don't think they fully understand asexuality/aromanticism, and I didn't want to confuse them more with what (in my opinion) is one of the more confusing microlabels

I'm thankful that they did accept me, but still, I don't want to try to explain that I do feel sexual/romantic attraction, but I can't be a part of the relationship in a sexual/romantic way.
