My TSBS Pet Peeves (or TSAMS/TLAES/MGAFS in general)
◇ People asking for either two characters to have their own show
- This one in general pisses me off in all sorts of angles. Not every character needs a show just because you want it. Especially after what yall did to mgafs. Almost all you wanted a Monty show, but here we are, and it barely gets any views, and Montys character is everywhere. He's either chill and helpful in TSAMS. Or he's greedy and two-faced in TLAES (unless he's with Earth). And in MGAFS, he's the same with TSAMS Monty but also with a mix of TLAES Monty. What I'm saying is once Monty got his own show, his character was ruined. It isn't stable. And I don't want that with other characters, especially with Jack and Dazzle (also I just don't want them to become traumatized they're a kind of relief of stress to some fans once heavy lore videos come out and are a breathe of fresh air so let's leave it like that). Also, you gotta realize there are people behind the screen who have lives to live instead of being behind a screen 24/7, spitting out videos everyday bc their fans want another show that will triple their work load and ruin the characters while the show goes on
♤ People who comment, "Can't wait for the next lore video!"
- I hate these comments underneath gaming videos. ESPECIALLY IF THEY DROP 2 GAMING VIDEOS IN TWO DAYS. JUST WATCH THE VIDEO AND SHUT UP OR LEAVE AND BE A LORE WATCHER PLEASE! Stop living in the future and live in the present that has the gaming video. It's giving you a break of the lore videos. Take it. You'll need it, especially if you're the one to cry to heavy lore videos (I'm not dissing you if you cry to these, you have emotions. Good for you!)
◇ Those who baby characters
- I'm not talking about the people who say baby girl to characters they find attractive or whatever. You guys are cool and funny at times 👍. I just don't like it when people treat characters like literal "defenseless little BaBiEs WhO nEeD tO bE pRoTeCtEd aT aLl CoSts 🥺🥺🥺" . No. No, they do not. They all have mentioned that they're all adults even though they don't have canonical ages (unless it's dazzle/Evelyn. They're a kid who needs guidance. That I can understand). Especially with Lunar and Sun. Mostly Lunar. You all treat him like a kid. Yes, he may act like one, but he has brought this up so many times. He acts like this because it's what he is comfortable with and used to (also, bc isn't he the opposite of Moon? He's gonna act like that). Not to mention, even the show has brought this up. Lunar can take care of himself he has shown that. He is just restricted because of the Astrals and their distrust with him (probation). Not to mention he has worked with Eclipse and Bloodmoon for a time being. He has expressed he is willing to kill if it came to it (Eclipse Era) and let Bloodmoon kill people as long as it kept him at bay. Lunar is not a baby he has done things that would classify him as an assistant to murder (still love him 🤭).
♤ People who comment "_____ gives you determination"
- It became annoying over time by how much I saw of it. Just stop of you do this. If you don't have anything you want to comment on, then don't comment
Anyways I'll probably talk more of my pet Peeves on another post bc I forgot most of them. Yeah, I ain't done 😈 🙏 Also I just don't want to be seen as a sour grape :P Soo yeah :D!

overused commentary. if you make the main character too sassy it mucks up the pacing and the understanding. there's a fine line between snarky and pedantic. too much backtalk is annoying and not funny.
not using metaphors/figures of speech correctly. seriously, some of them are so wrong it's funny. 'little to the imagination' means 'revealing' not 'modest'. i see that alllll the time.
'yet' is not another version of 'and.' it is a conjunction like 'but' or 'however.' i'll prob do a full length post abt that cause it's pretty common to see incorrectly.
typos. i mean come on, just copy it into google docs and get rid of the red and blue squiggly underlines. it's not hard.
not formatting paragraphs. BREAK IT UPPP MY EYESSSS ARE SEIZINGGG PLSSSS 😭😭

Specifically on this edition, shipping characters with Simon Blackquill
I usually am pretty chill with ships with characters but...to me Simon specifically is really difficult to ship in a way that doesn't feel weird. Part of that problem is his age and game timelines;
Being in the newer games ofc it's 2028...but that has the side effect of previous younger characters now being adults. In fact Maya and Blackquill are the same age.
But CapCom seems to forget a certain thing called maturity.
It's a pet peeve that Maya and many others weren't actually matured up to their ages, rather being same old same old...and the problem is exasperated when similar aged characters such as Nahyuta or Simon act their age.
This disparity has led to myself feeling that a lot of ships people have with Simon feel off because of the difference in maturity we see in canon.
Idk this was kinda a ramble but that's to be expected from me.
My biggest grammatical pet peeve is when people add “ ‘s “ to a word that ends with s.
Eg: Jesus’s as opposed to Jesus’
I hate when a fanfic has an amazing twist that would seriously alter the rest of the canon plot but the writer keeps it all. 🤬🤬🤬
Reminder: Ad Hominem means attacking the person instead of their argument. If you attack them and their argument, you’re just arguing on the internet.
pet peeve in fanfics
i have this particular pet peeve in fanfics and idk if anyone else has it too. i totally hate it when like the author decides to like frikin switch the POVs mid chapter.... and then has the audacity to switch back after 2 paragraphs like:

Character 1 POV Pretend im this is a sort of full length chapter that details the events thats happening currently. bla bla bla bla blabla bla bla bla blabla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. bla bla bla bla blabla bla bla bla bla
and this is like the second paragraph. insert 5 more paragraphs bla bla bla bla bla bla blabla bla bla bla blabla bla bla bla bla.
Character 2 POV hi this is character two and im gonna have like 2 paragraphs till it switches back to character 1--
Character 1 POV that was quick, anyways bla bla

There's a very unique kind of rage I get when you say you had a bad experience under a specific set of circumstances and some absolute bottom-feeding trollop will turn around and say oh but they had such a wonderful experience under a completely different set!!

Why do most of the webcomics on Tapas' home page look like they were all drawn by the same person with pretty much the same look as all the other protags.

When another E3 Trailer for Fire Emblem: Three Houses came out, I was really hyped. Until I learned that Byleth is gonna be an avatar. Annnnnnnd all of my enthusiasm withered away. Godammit. I'm sick of avatars and self-insert characters that play a role in major storylines. They hold no personality for themselves, are always the center of attention, and eventually (bc I know how fandoms work) become dating sims. Granted, I did like Robin in Awakening at first, mostly because I took his default at face value and stuck with it, since I'm not interested in self-insertions. I sure miss the good old days when it wasn't like that in FE Games. Oh well, I'll still play it, just want to get that off my chest. By the way, I'm no elitist, this is my only dislike so don't you dare!

I can't stand the amount of porn that I have seen on tumblr. I should not have to report a post every scroll and a half, I understand that sex workers need to put themselves out there, as advertisement, and that's how they make money, but I also know that there are some very young ( probably not innocent, but still impressionable) people on this app, and I say this as a 16 year old. Jesus, I just wanna scroll without seeing a naked woman every 3 post yk?
I can't describe how much I HATE when a game reviewer says shit like "it reeks of the late 90s" when talking about a game from the late 90s... like... idk the games we play now will "reek of the 20s" in 10-30 years???
Unconscious Vs Subconscious
Am I the only one who gets irritated every time someone says Unconscious ..when I say that I mean “ t/n Touched her/his crushes arm UNCONSCIOUSLY”.... Like NO its subconsciously !!! Unconscious means you were knocked TF out... Subconscious means with out realization aka it was unintended! PLEEASSE STOP MIXING UP THE TWO!! you cant “ walk down the hallway and unconsciously bump into your crush” !!!
One of major pet peeves of AGU is they could've at least change up the characters hair once in awhile or give them more accessories.
Fucking pisses me off how someone can post the best fucking work in the universe and get 5 likes and a single reblog, while their silly doodle that had no effort put in it can break the integer limit.
