Okay everyone I have an amazing fanfiction idea I need someone to bring to life. It is a Ben Hargreeves x reader, you are also an umbrella but after Ben dies you can still see and feel him and he can still touch you. So say it’s like season 2 and you are staying with Klaus in his cult house and you are like pregnant with Ben’s baby (let’s say 6 months) and then when everyone time travels back to 2016 you see sparrow Ben and think he is your Ben. That’s all I have really but it’s just a brilliant idea. Thank you

Felt like talking about season three of Umbrella Academy

I don't like Viktor. And to preface what I'm about to say, I actually really like the change to Viktor following Elliot Pages transition, it's nice and done pretty well I think

Bunch of transphobes hate it, but screw them

I will say, however, that for some reason they undid to seasons of character growth in the process, which is just incredibly infuriating. They finally come into their own, and gain full control over their powers, using it to decimate armies and send Sparrow Academy literally flying. They're powerful, and they know it

But once they transition they go back to being meek, and little, and, despite having the strongest powers, loses fight after fight, and allows everyone to push them around again

It's just a little disappointing if I'm being honest

Fei Hargreeves dating an ornithologist (someone who studies birds)

A/N: I was just thinking about how cute it would be for Fei to date someone who's super passionate about birds and this is what I came up with :]

Warnings: some swearing

Fei first met you one day when she was out at the park for a stroll

Some of her birds had approached you where you were sitting on a bench throwing breadcrumbs

You noticed they were different from the other birds who usually came to the park, so you offered them some of the shiny knickknacks you carried with you for situations just like this as a peace offering

By this point, the crows were intrigued by you, and Fei was as well

She decided to walk over to you and introduce herself

You knew who she was, obviously; I mean, who doesn't know about the aweshocking members of the Sparrow Academy?

When you told her you were an ornithologist, she was thrilled

She found it intriguing that you were so passionate about studying birds and their habitats you decided to make it your profession

Fei decided to ask you out, right then and there, to which you said yes

She could listen to you talk for hours about birds and their habitats

"Now, the interesting things about crows is-"

Most people don't like it when you ramble on and on, but she does. She thinks it's cute you're passionate about something, especially on a topic that hits so close to home and resonates with her so deeply

You enjoy helping her crows find things they can use for their nest, including pebbles, shiny objects, etc.

Often times you'll lose your keys, only to find one of the birds took them to their nest to use as decoration. You're certain that's what happened to the key you gave Fei to your place

Her birds are very protective over you. If they notice there's someone who's making you uncomfortable or appears to be a threat to you in any way, they will not hesitate to attack, beaks open and talons flying as they go in for the kill

If you're any kind of professor or you work at someplace like a college Fei will often sneak into your classes and sit near the back of the room just so she can listen to your lectures

She does this so much at this point she has a designated seat reserved specifically for her, and if she can't make it for some reason then it's because either a) she had some Sparrow Academy shit she needed to do and told you beforehand, or b) something happened to her because she will make it to your lectures, even if she has to rise out of the grave to do it people who have seen s3 will see the irony in this statement

There have been times where she's walked in on you using her birds to put on a fashion show, complete with little hats and everything. She learns not to question it at this point

If there are ever times where she can't find some of her birds for whatever reason, she doesn't worry too much. She knows that they're most likely safe with you, and that you're taking good care of them <3

Imagine yourself having the powers of an Empath combined with the tracking abilities of Demetri Volturi [Twilight].

Ben || Number Two –– THE SCHEMER

⮕ Ben isn’t used to people staring at him the way your group does. 

⮕ Is he used to star-struck admiration? Yes. Poorly concealed lust. Oh most definitely. 

⮕ Fighting crime in the limelight for years had propelled the Sparrow Academy into celebrityhood overtime, to the point where it felt like they were more commodity than people most days.

⮕ With bus loads of fans gathering at their fence each day, and hoards of women and men throwing themselves at him for almost anything, all Ben had ever known was fan-crazed obsession and shallow affection. 

⮕ So when he sees the mosaic of expressions that aren’t admiration or greed on your group, he’s already on alert:

⮕ The Big Guy and Stubble are wide-eyed at the back, almost slack jawed as the woman with the long coat stumbles back into them.

⮕ She’s quick to school her expression as she shuffles away, but Ben notes the way her hand trembles as her eyes rove over him in disbelief.

⮕ Their reactions has The Monster™ unfurling itself inside his stomach, but Ben ignores the sharp pain that follows in its wake as he turns to the smallest of your group. 

⮕ Their faces are twisted with an expression he can’t quite decipher. It looks like grief, longing, and hope all mixed into one but the look is too fast and too fleeting for him to make sense of anything.

⮕ Short Pants, in particular, brings in his pointed finger into a clenched hand at his side. 

⮕ Sundance, comparatively, looks the most at ease as he holds a hand against his chest with a dramatic flourish. It’s as though he’s already comfortable with what’s going on, comfortable with being in a room with them him, that Ben’s brow furrows.

⮕ In spite of his nonchalance and near-friendliness, he can’t help but think that Sundance’s smile could be bigger–all toothy or some sort of mischievous shit–and that the smile he’s wearing now is half-hearted at best. 

⮕ Of course, it isn’t until he catches you hidden behind Sundance, eyes pinned to the floor that something that feels like desperation reverberates through him as he waits for you to meet his gaze.

⮕ The Monster™ pounds at his stomach lining, begging to be let out. 

⮕By that point, Marcus and the rest of his siblings descend from the second floor, strategically mirroring your own formation as he addresses The Big Guy so Ben forces his attention elsewhere. 

⮕ This shit can wait ‘til after, he decides with a huff. 

⮕ With seven on each side, the confrontation becomes an even standoff. And while it seems the whole situation might come to a peaceful resolution at first, Stubble and Jayme fall into an argument that inevitably kicks things into gear. 

⮕ Ben, naturally, unleashes The Monster™.

⮕ Only, instead of attacking Sundance or Shortstack–being the two closest to him–you side-step into view, now meeting his gaze for the very first time. 

⮕ To his shock? horror? disbelief? The Monster™ stills just before it can tear into your side, stopping only for a few seconds before gently (what?) caressing (the fuck?) your dirt-stained cheek. 

⮕ From behind The Monster™, you stare at its tendrils and at him with a look unlike the others. It makes him feel bare and exposed, vulnerable in all the wrong ways, like he’s a live wire waiting to be put out. The way you look at him… Ben would only describe it as reverence.

⮕ Complete and utter reverence. 

⮕ Eyes wet and mouth trembling, the sharp intake of breath you take as you look at him, really look at him, makes him think back to earlier and how he’d felt a flash of–

⮕ “–I don’t want to hurt you,” he says, the words slipping out before he can bite his tongue. 

⮕ At his words, your expression ripples into something more bitter, something more than words Ben can even come up with and louder than your group as you press your lips into a thin, resigned, line:

⮕ “Too late,” it comes out soft, barely a whisper. But Ben winces as though you’d screeched into his ear.  

⮕ Before he can do anything more, say anything more, you dart around his tendrils and brush a finger against his face. 

⮕ All of a sudden, his limbs grow heavy with fatigue, The Monster™ retreats back into his skin with a harsh slam and the world tilts on its axis.

⮕ White-hot betrayal washes over him as he hits the floor, and as he begins to lose conscious, just on the precept of going under, Ben realises one thing about the sensation as it settles and aches, an open wound:

⮕ The feeling does not belong to him.

TUA Season 3 Episode 7 SPOILERS

I watched Klaus dies and resurrects for like 5 minutes and I still don't know if I find it funny or terrible.

I don't really trust Reginald with Klaus, I can't stop thinking he planning something and manipulates my Death Boy :(

Sparrow!Ben calling Viktor an emo was funny. Like, Ben you are the emo king here who do you try to insult 🤡

I'm conflicted on Sparrow!Pogo. On a side he doesn't take Reggie's bullshit with the kids but on an other side he let them alone with the fucker :/

Sloane and Luther mariage proposal in front of an apocalyptic city was beautiful 😭 Even if it's very Disney's like because they knew each other for... 4 days? 5 days? They still cute.

I don't really like what the authors do with the Sparrows. I mean the way they kill them all. I feel like the finality is there will be only Ben left for "complet" the Umbrella academy. I liked Fei and Christopher >:( ! If the objective was to get Ben back they should have not kill him in season 2! There was a lot of theories of him being "resurrect" with Five's temporal jump.

Klaus finally get ride of his shoes, I hope he will finally get his glory hour!

Ok but notice how Umbrella are first number and name in guillemets like it is a nickname or irrelevant for their identity. At the contrary Sparrow are first their name and their number is aka, their number can change it is a status not their identity like we can understand Ben was number one a while ago before the beginning of the season.

I think it's important because it mean the Umbrellas are soldiers who learned to be people and the Sparrows are people who learned to be soldiers.

Hello all, I wanted to post about some playlists I made for Umbrella Academy. I started doing these playlist after season two came out. It isn't much but I put a lot thought into the song choices and what emotions come through each character.
