Cybertronian Civil Warfare

One wrong move. That was all it took to make Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, mad. Now Strongarm and Sideswipe have to deal with the unfortunate consequences of their actions by participating in Optimus's game.

(First chapter of a fic I am writing that will showcase some of the stuff being at war did to Bee and co :3)

━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙

No one was entirely sure what thought process led to the current situation, but Strongarm could remember when it started.

The team had gathered to celebrate what was quickly being dubbed the third liberation of Cybertron when it all began. Strongarm and her team, the Bee Team as they were called, were invited to celebrate with Team Prime in the newly constructed crystal gardens attached to the  restored Hall of Records. Optimus Prime himself had been the one to give out the invitations, and not a spark had refused. Sideswipe had of course made a fuss about having to go to what he assumed was a formal event, but Strongarm had shut him up well enough beforehand.

Meeting Team Prime in a more civil setting was exciting and she had no intention of missing it for the world. But of course, someone had to screw up. And that screw up in turn led to a series of unfortunate and poorly thought out words.

Primus, did they frag up.

“Look, all I am saying is that I don’t get why you all are so high strung all the time.” Sideswipe remarked as he sipped from his cup of high grade. His optics flared a pale blue, a sign of overcharge from too much to drink. A scowl marred his features and Strongarm suppressed the urge to march over and swat him.

“Why is that Sideswipe?” Optimus questioned patiently from where he sat at the head of the table. The others present had largely continued on with their activities, uncaring of the conversation, but Sideswipe could sense the way the others threw their fields wider, subconsciously keeping an optic on the situation.

“It's pretty bad with Bee. He’s always whining about us using too much energon and he gets angry about us not being up all night long for our patrol despite the fact that we have cameras.” Sideswipe glared at their leader and Strongarm almost burst from the rage pooling in her spark. Did the little glitch have no respect? These were war veterans for Primus’s sake.

“Sideswipe, keep your grievances back at base. We are in a public area-” Bumblebee chimed in, chastation heavy in his tone.  The former scout’s optics cycled in on Sideswipe, a sign of agitation that Strongarm had long learned to notice serving under him. Only Windblade’s firm grasp on her arm kept her from getting up to teach the mech across from her a lesson.

“Bumblebee, let him speak. It is at times like these that such issues should be aired.” Optimus sat perfectly composed in his chair, his attention on the red speedster as Sideswipe grumbled and continued, his words somewhat slurred as he continued.

“You all constantly act like you are better than us. You treat us like newsparks. I’ve been functional for long enough! By old Cybertronian standards I am fully framed!” Sideswipe slammed his cup onto the table as if he were a sparkling and glared at the elder mecha present. Smokescreen stood up abruptly from where he was seated, anger etched onto his features.

“You are a newspark Sideswipe. I am still considered young even though I was forged during the height of the war.” Smokescreen’s servos were planted firmly on the table, his doorwings twitching as he glared. The Wreckers at the table paused in their activities, their words quieting as they stopped to pay attention. Their stillness swiftly led to the remainder of the table falling silent to observe.

Strongarm couldn’t help the way her plating clamped down around her as the war veterans present seemed to make a shield around themselves with their fields. It was suffocating to endure.

“That’s exactly my problem! You get treated so much better than us and you don’t act much different!” Sideswipe wasn’t making any sense. His logic wasn’t adding up, and yet his field screamed of outrage. Evidently he had a lot more going on than he could voice. But Strongarm didn’t care to hear it.

“Sideswipe! Don’t be so rude! We are among war veterans and heroes!” Strongarm stood up as well. Her field flared in anger and Smokescreen looked over at her so sharply that she almost felt the urge to sit down. Ratchet slowly began to rise, his servos up in a placating manner as he attempted to speak before being cut off.

“You all fought in a war. So what? I’ve fought Cons and they weren’t even all that bad!” Sideswipe stood proudly despite the fact that he obviously wasn’t thinking straight. Strongarm wished she could sink into the ground as the gazes of the elder mecha present all zoned in on Sideswipe as if he were fresh energon ready for the harvest. She couldn’t tell whose field was whose, but she didn’t need to. All of them were running with an undercurrent of rage, at least those amongst team Prime. Windblade, Drift and his minicons, and Grimlock quickly began to gather beside Strongarm, stepping back from the table as things became more heated.

“Sideswipe, I believe you are not thinking clearly. What you are saying is insinuating a great deal more than I think you intend to convey.” Optimus was still composed ever as the rest of Team Prime slowly began to get up and move. Sideswipe didn’t seem to notice as Bulkhead carefully, and with surprising stealth, pulled the table out of the way in time for the Prime to stand.

This felt practiced, rehearsed almost in a sick way. Strongarm wasn’t sure what to do, what to say even. But she wasn’t given the chance as Bumblebee stepped in front of her and the rest of their team, his gaze surprisingly steely as the situation continued to unfold.

“Bee, what’s going on?” Grimlock asked hesitantly. The dinobot was not usually one to look so
concerned. It startled Strongarm in a way. He was usually always ready for a fight, even against one like Optimus. Here though? It looked like everyone, including the battle hardened Drift, wanted nothing to do with the situation.

“Quiet. Optimus will handle this.” There was no room for disagreement in Bumblebee’s voice. He was surprisingly stern. Usually he was loose in his methods of leadership. However as Smokescreen came over and stood at attention right next to Strongarm’s leader, she felt fear begin to gather in her spark.

This was serious, and everyone seemed to know it.

“I mean it all! I don’t get why you all do all this stupid paranoid slag all the time! Always on our afts about our energon usage and lack of combat training or all that other scrap!” Sideswipe’s field was vicious and sharp, but untrained. His didn’t hurt. But those around them? By the Allspark, Strongarm could feel pinpricks running all along her plating from where Bumblebee and Smokescreen practically emanated outrage.

“Sideswipe.” The Prime’s tone had shifted. It was subtle, almost too soft for Strongarm to notice. But her training under Bumblebee had done her good. She wasn’t a spy by any means, or even a special agent. However the few weeks of interrogation training she underwent were having their influence.

Optimus wasn’t happy.

“I don’t want to hear whatever fragging excuses you have, you old bag of bolts! You wouldn’t be held in such high esteem if you just ended the war when it began!” Everyone froze, even Grimlock. Windblade seemed too shaken to speak, her wings dipping so low they almost touched the ground as she stared on in horror. Strongarm was sure she was making a similar expression as Optimus’s expression changed.

He always wore gentle expressions, or at least a soft firmness or strictness. Now though? His optics were startlingly wide, almost as though he were looking at Sideswipe as some sort of prey animal. Optimus’s posture dipped, becoming tenser and his digits twitching ever so slightly. A true predator.

“Sideswipe, that is enough.” Arcee hissed through gritted denta. The elder femme seemed two kliks away from shredding Sideswipe and appeared to only be kept in place by Bulkhead who glanced down at her in warning. Grimlock was shaking like a leaf and Slipestream and Jetstorm weren’t much better off. They huddled around their carrier unit fearfully and Drift subtly drew his swords, the tension in the air setting him on edge.

Strongarm couldn’t blame him when she found herself palming her pistol on instinct.

“The Cons we’ve fought have been smallfry. Sure Megaton might have been a piece of work, but you could have ended this easily! But NO, you dragged it all out! Our planet DIED because you and the rest of these plasma helmed glitches didn’t want to put aside your egos and end things!” Strongarm didn’t think things could get worse. Evidently she was wrong. Team Prime were all angry. Even Ratchet seemed to be on the cusp of letting loose what Strongarm could only imagine was a legendary string of curses.

Despite that, Sideswipe must have been absolutely sloshed since he just. Kept. going.

“Great and mighty Optimus Prime my aft! All you did was make things worse! We wouldn’t have had to deal with all this Primus forsaken fallout if you had just done the right thing in the first place!” There it was. Strongarm could feel it. This was the pinnacle. One more word and things were going to explode.

“Sideswipe. This is the only warning I will give you. Be silent now, or I will need to take disciplinary action on account of you disturbing the peace.” It was a bit of a stretch legally. However it seemed Optimus, and the rest of team Prime for that matter, didn’t care all that much. The tension was heavy. It was too much.

“Sir, that would be an abuse of power. Sideswipe has the right to free speech. He can technically say what he wants regardless-” Over a dozen optics fell on Strongarm like lasers. She wished she hadn’t spoken, but she couldn’t back down now.

“What I mean to say is that, uh, Autobot law does not permit
” She trailed off, but the wrath of those present was already on her. Sideswipe didn’t even seem to be aware she was speaking on his behalf. A bitter part of her processors resented that. She was hurting her reputation with Optimus Prime and likely the rest of team Prime just to stick up for him.

“What are you insinuating Strongarm?” She didn’t need to look. Bumblebee’s optics were boring into her with such intensity that if he were to be granted the ability to kill on sight, Strongarm was sure she would be dead by now. Still, no one else spoke up. The team were silent save for their unspoken anger which hummed in the air like a dooming court sentence.

She floundered, stress prompting her to rehearse what Sideswipe had said. He was saying things that no one was able to, words which should never be spoken aloud. However as she fidgeted with Optimus’s far too wide optics glued to her, she sputtered out a response.

“He makes valid points!” Oh if looks could kill, Strongarm was sure that she and Sideswipe would be dead a thousand times over.

“How so?” The Prime questioned, his tone too smooth and practiced. It was akin to how cashiers and those who worked in customer service would smile and wave even as they internally cursed to the stars and beyond.

“It’s just
according to the records, the war started because you and Megatron had a disagreement and failed to work it out. Then as the war went on, neither of you were willing to compromise or kill the other
” Smokescreen stepped forward, she could feel his field pressing against her. He felt murderous, so much so she couldn’t bear to look as Optimus tilted his helm ever so slightly in what had to be faux curiosity.

“And it is also stated that the Decepticons weren’t really all that much of a threat beyond their numbers. The Autobots had superiority throughout a good portion of the war, but it was never used. The Decepticons could have been crushed easily if you look at the tactics and the resources available at the time.” Any other words died on her glossa as Smokescreen’s servo pressed heavily on her shoulder, his face so eerily composed that she genuinely feared for her life. Optimus didn’t so much as twitch as he hummed, his optics cycling ominously.

“So that is what you believe. Is that what the history books say?” Sideswipe had evidently finally begun to sober up a bit as he stepped back. Optimus’s field, which had up until that point been held totally at ease, finally spread out.

It was just a flare, but it dropped Strongarm to a knee as she looked up in horror. Optimus was mad. Her plating rattled and her hydraulics tensed as fear threatened to overwhelm her. Windblade, Drift, his minicons, and Sideswipe didn’t appear to be fending much better when she glanced over at them.

“You believe our sacrifices were for nothing? That the countless dead were lost in a meaningless conflict? How very amusing.” Strongarm didn’t know Optimus, she didn’t even try to claim she was acquainted with him to any serious degree. But his voice
it wasn’t him. He wasn’t talking like the Prime she knew and served alongside back on Earth.

However, just as quickly as it came, the tension dissipated like smoke as Optimus straightened his posture, composed himself and turned to exit the garden with only one final declaration.

“It seems you have much to learn. Return to your base of operations until you receive further orders. I do not wish to see you at this moment or for the foreseeable future.” Then, just like that, Optimus left. Strongarm promptly hunched over and purged whatever she had consumed during the gathering. Sideswipe for his part immediately found himself smacked so hard upside the helm by Bumblebee that she was sure he was seeing stars. Those of team Prime were cold as they quietly gathered their things and left, not another word uttered between them.

Ratchet lingered just long enough to throw a hangover cure at Sideswipe’s face, but beyond that, only Smokescreen stuck around until Bumblebee waved him off. They were fragged. Strongarm could sense it as she was pulled to her pedes and put in with the rest of the Bee team in silence. Bumblebee said nothing as he dragged Sideswipe behind him by his right pede, uncaring of the pained groans of the speedster.

Windblade and Drift offered their arms to keep Strongarm steady as her tanks churned in nausea and her vision swam. She accepted it without question, not even having the energy to yell at Grimlock as the dinobot all but threw himself through the space bridge back to Earth.

They had messed up royally.

━━━━━━━━━━━━

It was to be expected really. All sorts of double patrols, cleaning duty, and plenty of additional training sessions made perfect sense considering how badly both she and Sideswipe had messed up. However the predicted backlash from Optimus never arrived. Strongarm spent months dreading it, even waking up in terror a few times in fear of those far too wide optics zoning in on her.

Yet, as the months passed, nothing happened. Bumblebee was cold for the first little while, but he settled back into his usual behaviors within a month. Grimlock seemed to forget all about the incident, Drift and Windblade put it behind them, and Sideswipe spent quite a few weeks in a similar state of alertness to Strongarm before he too calmed. Everything went back to normal without any word from Optimus, not even a transmission or a single set of orders.

Everything
was normal. And somehow that scared Strongarm more than it comforted her. She had never seen Optimus so angry, and from the looks of it, neither had Team Prime, at least not in a very long time.

Her anxiety grew each passing month, until at last, after around a whole year on Earth, a transmission arrived from Cybertron along with its messenger.

“Hey kiddos! I’ve got a message from Prime for you all! It's addressed to Sideswipe and Strongarm specifically, but I am pretty sure it was intended for your group as a whole.” Jazz, the special operations agent who Strongarm hadn’t seen since they took down the Council, stood before them. He was as cheerful as ever as he handed over a singular holographic disc. Bumblebee took it from him before Strongarm or Sideswipe could do so.

“Did he give any instructions?” Bumblebee questioned simply, suspicion lacing his tone. Jazz shrugged and smiled, his visor glinting in the light as he put his servos on his hips casually.

“Turn it on. Whatever he has to say will probably be on there.” An obvious assumption, but one Strongarm found herself somewhat concerned with as Bumblebee nodded and plugged the disk into the terminal. There was a long harrowing silence in the space as the rest of team Bee gathered around, watching with rapt attention as the screen flickered on.

“Greetings. It has been some time since our last communication.” Optimus’s voice rang out clearly in the space as his face pixelated into being on the screen. He seemed completely at ease as he sat in a chair, a series of datapads at his side.

“In light of your previous statements, I have taken the time to prepare an activity for all of you to participate in. All save for Strongarm and Sideswipe will not be forced to participate if they choose to not engage.” She was already being singled out. Beside her, Strongarm sensed Sideswipe stiffening. This was the other pede finally dropping. Their punishment for speaking out of line.

“Before you bring forward any legal concerns, let it be said before I begin that everything I have prepared is well within my rights. The provisionary council has given me the authority to move your team as I see fit, and all supplies and resources used in the upcoming activity have been funded through my personal efforts and connections.” Optimus sat smugly, or at least that is how it looked to Strongarm as he leaned forward, a little closer to the camera. Fear rattled down her spinal struts as she came to the dark conclusion that the whole year of silence hadn’t been because Optimus forgot. No, she had not been so lucky.

He had been preparing for whatever this was.

“Your involvement is compulsory.” Again, a warning. In the video, Optimus smiled, but it was a sickening thing that left Strongarm’s tanks churning. She reached out to hold Sideswipe’s arm instinctually, seeking the comfort of another as Windblade and Drift came nearer, doing their best to offer silent comradery as the words continued to relay through the audio systems of the terminal.

“We will be engaging in a real time strategy game made as realistic as possible through my resources. This game will take place in the uninhabited city of Helex in exactly one Earth month. You will have the entirety of that time to prepare.” A grin grew on Optimus’s face, and Primus, Strongarm felt that same churning in her tanks all over again. She wanted to be sick as the Prime tilted his helm, an unnatural ease to his movements.

“You may recruit whoever you see fit. However you may have no more than a hundred units under your control.” Every word was punctuated, almost as if Optimus had long ago rehearsed the lines.

“Any Autobot you can convince to join you is within your rights to recruit. To make things fair, I will not call upon my team or any close allies amongst the Autobots to assist me.” Every movement was far too crisp, practiced even as Optimus held up a datapad showing a map of the city of Helex.

“Are you putting it together now?” There was a degree of amusement in the Prime’s voice, and looking around, not a spark seemed to like it. Not even Bumblebee.

“You will have three main objectives which will be given to you a day before the start of the game. I have not selected these objectives. All objectives have been chosen by Elita-One and other neutral parties.” This was real.

“Complete all three of these objectives, and you will have victory. However in the event that neither faction involved in this conflict completes all of them, the one with the most completed objectives will be victorious.” Strongarm’s hydraulics threatened to falter as Optimus kept talking. Bumblebee held her up by the arm and captured Sideswipe by his neck guard. Their leader was deadly serious as he listened and forced them to endure.

“Further details will be given to you upon your arrival at the site. In the meantime, prepare for any possibility. This is war, and I have no intention of going easy on you.” Why? Why did it have to be Optimus Prime who they angered?

“Designate a leader and begin recruiting. You will have no resources from the state, so all of your preparations must come from your own sources. My advice is simple. Recruit those with influence.” Optimus smiled again as he leaned forward in his chair, his optics too wide and too threatening.

“I do this not out of malice or bitterness, but instead to make a point.” Not out of malice her aft. There was no way there was not a personal grudge involved for Optimus to put so much effort into this.

“It is my hope that our game will give you a taste of what our war was like. May you find victory, or failing that, learn a lesson amidst this trial to come. Till all are one.” The video shut down with a dooming whirl and Strongarm struggled to not purge right then and there. What had they gotten into?

“So we are playing that game
” Bumblebee murmured, his optics distant.

“You kiddos made him really mad. Well it wasn’t just you, but you certainly played a part! This will be interesting to watch play out.” Jazz commented with far too much cheer in his tone. Was all of this just a game? Even Bumblebee didn’t seem phased.

“He can’t seriously be expecting us to do this- this bloodsport!” Sideswipe burst out, breaking the atmosphere.

“I agree. Isn’t this going too far?” Windblade commented carefully.

“Nope! This is a common game amongst troops, at least during the war. Rion just seems to be taking it to the next level.” Frag it all.

“Then I suppose there is nothing to be done. I shall join this game, if only to give my students additional training.” The minicons under Drift’s command look decidedly unhappy, but Strongarm could only feel a bitter sense of relief. This was really happening.

“We
better get to work.” Strongarm choked out, her vocalizer failing her as the image of Optimus’s grin burned itself into her mind.

What had she gotten herself into?

Transformers RID-2015 "The shadow still Lurks"

Chapter 1: nightmares

"HOW COULD YOU FAIL ME." Shadow Raker yelled looking down at the two minicons who stood before him.

Both minicons were terrified and trembling but both stood stock still in front of their master.

"But master, we only had time to get what we brought." Slipstream protested.

There was suddenly a flash of metal and Jetstorm almost cried out in pain as a sword slashed across his cheeck leaving a gash.

Jetstorm trembled as the white hot pain shot through his body, but he still stood as still as he could, trying to ignore the feeling of energon running down his cheeck.

Next to them he saw Deadlock, an expression of pure anger on his face, but strangely his anger wasn't directed towards the minicons.

"Next time you shall get as much as you are told and no less, or there shall be severe consequences, do I make myself clear." Shadow Raker growled looking at the minicons.

"Yes master." Jetstorm and Slipstream nodded.

"Good, now get out of my sight." Shadow Raker growled and both minicons quickly ran out the room.

Jetstorm's POV:

I awoke with a gasp trembling as I remembered that day, I could almost feel the energon running down my cheeck again.

I could feel myself trembling and hugged my knees close to my chest, trying to suppress the memory.

I felt tears running down my optics and I wiped them away trying not to full on cry, but a few small sobs still escaped me.

After I'd stopped trembling I got down from the berth I shared with my older brother Slipstream and stepped out off the ship we lived on with our sensei Drift and decided to take a walk around the scrapyard to try and calm down.

I relaxed slightly as the cool night breeze hit my metal, I always found the feeling relaxing, it just gave me a sense of peace.

I walked past the others (minus Sideswipe, who was on patrol) who were all asleep, none of their heads pluaged by bad dreams.

When I got to the stasis pods I froze in my tracks.

He was there.

His pod was directly in front of me.

I shuddered as I stared into the face of my former master, chills running over my frame.

Even in stasis he still frightened me, I just felt like he was going to crawl out of that pod and grab me, and me and Slipstream would be forced to live through all those cycles of abuse we'd been trying to forget.

Unable to look at the pod anymore I ran back to the ship and buried myself back in my blanket trying to fall back asleep, but now my processor was running haywire with the possibility that Shadow Raker may escape.

And if he did, what would he do?

Transformers robots in disguise 2015 "the Shadow lurks:

chapter 3: dwelling

Jetstorm awoke with a gasp, he'd had another nightmare.

He pulled his knees up to his chest as tears rolled from his optics, he could feel his whole frame trembling.

He hated these nightmares, but he just couldn't get rid of them, why couldn't they just go away.

Sighing he got up from his berth and grabbed the music player Sideswipe had gotten him for his birthday a few months ago and as quietly as he could left their room to get a cube of energon.

After drinking the energon cube he sat atop the ledge overlooking the scrapyard.

He reached over for his music player and for a while simply basked in the melodious feeling that the music provided.

He sat like this for a while before getting up and deciding to head back to the scrapyard.

As he got up, the song "creep" started playing on Jetstorm's music player.

Despite the overall dark tone of the song he rather liked it, in a way it resonated with him.

The song played as he walked back down to the scrapyard and through the gates.

He came to a stop in front of a stasis pod and shuddered at the form inside.

It was him.

Even unconscious Shadow Raker's form seemed to sneer down at him, Jetstorm shivered at the unpleasant memories just looking at his former master gave him, yet at the same time he couldn't look away.

Jetstorm was worried that Shadow Raker would break out and most likely come after him and his brother.

Drift had assured both him and Slipstream that the pod was sealed tight and there was no way Shadow Raker would escape.

But for once Jetstorm didn't fully believe his teacher.

He knew fine well Shadow Raker has escaped far worse than this and he had a nagging suspicion thst he wasn't quite through seeing his former master yet.

Unable to look at the pod anymore Jetstorm went to the command center and sat down against the cold metal exterior that was the former front section of the Alchemor.

He reached for his music player and turned it back on.

Jetstorm could feel his optics becoming heavier and heavier and at some point the darkness swallowed him whole.

Meanwhile Optimus was approaching the command center.

He had gone for a night time drive, as he often did to try and relax and was just returning.

When he returned he recognised the faint sound of what he recognised as Music playing from near the command center.

He arrived at the command center and saw a form he recognised as Jetstorm passed out in front of him.

Worried he knelt down and performed a quick scan of the young minicon relieved to find he was only recharging.

However he decided he would have Ratchet check him over just in case.

Comming Ratchet to meet him at the medical tent Optimus picked up Jetstorm and carried him with ease to the medical tent.

Ratchet met him at the tent alongside Drift.

"Is he alright?" Drift asked looking extremely worried.

"He's fine Drift, I just want Ratchet to run a few scans just to be sure." Optimus said.

Drift nodded though he didn't look very reassured.

Optimus lay Jetstorm down on the berth.

Ratchet ran his scanner over the young minicon.

Once that was done he looked at the results.

"Drift, has he been sleeping?" Ratchet asked.

"He says he has, but I honestly doubt he has." Drift said.

"Well he definitely hasn't, he hasn't slept in 2 weeks, his systems eventually crashed as a result." Ratchet said.

"What can I do to help him?" Drift asked.

"I'm going to give him a sedative to help him tonight, but I suggest trying to talk to him, if he won't talk to you I would suggest someone who knows how to deal with trauma like his." Ratchet said.

"Windblade mentioned she had a friend named Chromia who is a therapist, she said she would talk to her about getting her to talk to Jetstorm, I may have her talk to Slipstream as well, he hasn't said so but I believe he is also suffering." Drift said.

"Good idea, I know very well about this sort of thing." Ratchet said nodding.

Ratchet went to prep the sedative.

Drift looked over at Jetstorm who had begun to stir.

"Huh, what's going on?" Jetstorm asked in a panicked voice looking around rapidly.

Before Drift could do anything Optimus went over to Jetstorm and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

"Everything is alright, you should be resting young one." Optimus said in a reassuring voice.

"I can't, I'm scared." Jetstorm said tears streaming from his optics.

"Everything is alright little one, you're safe." Optimus said rubbing Jetstorm's shoulder comfortingly.

Something the prime said must of worked because Jetstorm closed his optics and was immediately fast asleep.

"It comes from experience." Optimus said seeing the suprised look on Drift's face.

Ratchet administered the sedative and after a moment allowed Drift to take Jetstorm back to the ship.

Slipstream was awake when Drift returned.

"Is he alright, master Drift?" Slipstream asked.

"He is fine now Slipstream." Drift said setting Jetstorm down on his berth.

Drift sighed before looking at Slipstream.

"Slipstream, a friend of Windblade is coming tomorrow to...talk with you and Jetstorm." Drift said.

"You mean a therapist." Slipstream said seeing right through Drift's words.

"Yes." Drift said nodding.

Slipstream was about to speak but Drift interrupted.

"And before you say you don't need it, you do, you are just as upset as Jetstorm is, you were trying to hide it but I can tell, I know you well enough Slipstream." Drift said.

Slipstream sighed and nodded, admittedly he was extremely tense, and had been since Shadow Raker had been captured, but he thought he'd gotten good at hiding it by now.

Drift seemed to notice what Slipstream was thinking and pulled the young minicon closer, very much like you would an upset child.

Slipstream and Jetstorm basically were kids.

"You shouldn't have to hide your feelings Slipstream, they are every bit as important to me as everybody else's, I don't want you to be upset or scared to communicate how you feel." Drift said.

Slipstream tensed visibly then sighed.

"Admittedly I am worried master, he has escaped far worse than this in the past and if he does escape, he could hurt me and Jetstorm again." Slipstream said.

"Listen to me Slipstream, you are my students and therefore my responsibility, if he wants to get near you, he'll have to pry you from my sparkless husk." Drift said.

Slipstream seemed slightly reassured but Drift could tell he was still worried.

"Rest Slipstream, we will discuss this more in the morning." Drift said.

Slipstream nodded and lay down falling back to sleep.

Drift watched both his students for a moment to make sure they were both peacefully resting before laying down and falling asleep himself.

Cybertron:

Chromia looked over the two files she was given.

Windblade had contacted her earlier in the day and asked if she could speak to a close friend's, pupils as she put it.

She was now studying the files before she left.

Name: Slipstream

Age: 15

Personality: loyal, kind, humble, slightly stubborn

Issues that need addressing: will often not talk about issues that bother him, doesn't believe his opinions are valid despite being told they are, will often bottle up anger or stress and won't discuss it

Chromia frowned, that certainly wasn't good, she'd dealt with this sort of thing herself and she knew it was never good to bottle up stress or anger.

However she was confident she could get through to him.

She turned to the other file.

Name: Jetstorm

Age: 12

Personality: kind, loyal, brave, stubborn, humorous, adventurous and full of energy

He also loves music

Issues that need addressing: like Slipstream he often won't talk about issues that bother him, will often close himself off when upset, severe lack of confidence in himself despite reassurance from others, like Slipstream will often bottle up anger or stress

Chromia's frown deepened as she read Jetstorm's file, clearly she was going to have her work cut out with these two, but she was going to do her best to help them.

She packed a few things then went to her assistant Moonracer.

"Moonracer, I need to leave for a little while, could you take charge while I'm gone?" She asked.

"Of course." Moonracer said nodding.

Chromia thanked her and left.

As she left she got on the comm, she knew another bot who could help her, a bot she knew would also be very happy to return to Earth.

Chapter 5: The Past Always Comes Back To Haunt You

The Bee team was all relaxing when the alarm went off.

"Decepticon signal in sector 7." Fixit said.

"What's his ID?" Bee asked.

"His name is Wheelspin, a Decepticon activist who started several riots not long after the great war ended, he was also responsible for the death of the original high council, including former Decepticon medic and member Highspeed." Fixit said.

None of the others noticed Sideswipe tense up.

Flashback:

Two young bots, one red, one gold were walking through the streets.

"Are you sure this bot can be relied on Sunstreaker." The red bot said nervously.

"Of course Sideswipe, he's a Decepticon like us, and don't get me wrong, I know Highspeed is trying to help us, but she doesn't seem to fully understand how bad this is." Sunstreaker said.

"I guess, I've told her time and time again the council don't care about us, what was his name again?" Sideswipe asked.

"Wheelspin." Sunstreaker said.

The present:

Sideswipe snapped back to attention when he heard Bumblebee saying his name.

"Sideswipe, are you alright?" Bee asked.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine." Sideswipe nodded.

"You sure?" Bee asked.

Sideswipe nodded giving Bee a fake smile.

"Alright, let's rev up and roll out." Bee said.

The Bee team transformed and headed out.

As they drove Sideswipe started thinking again.

Flashback:

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were standing in front of a large black and gold mech, his piercing purple optics looking down at the two young mexhs in front of him.

"So, it's my help you seek." The mech said.

"Yes sir, we've heard of the things you've done to help our kind, we want to be a part of it." Sunstreaker said.

Sideswipe just nodded, unsure what to say.

"Well then, follow me." The mech said turning and walking away.

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker followed.

The present:

The team arrived at the coordinates and drew their weapons.

"Alright team, be vigilant, he's near." Bee said.

The team slowly moved forward weapons at the ready.

They saw a tall shadow nearby and Bee signaled for the team to surround him.

They did as ordered and Bee spoke up.

"Servos in the air, you're under arrest." Bee ordered.

Wheelspin surveyed each member of the Bee team, then his optics landed on Sideswipe, a cold sneer making its way onto his face.

"Hello Sideswipe." Wheelspin said.

"Sideswipe, you know him? " Strongarm asked surprised.

"It's so nice to see you again." Said in a cold drawl.

"Maybe more for you than it is for me." Sideswipe growled.

"Now is that any to treat your old friend, I'm all you have left, with Highspeed gone." Wheelspin sneered.

"You aren't fit to say her name." Sideswipe snarled, a venom in his voice none of the team had heard before.

"And you are, I'm surprised, especially since you caused her death." Wheelspin said.

Flashback:

(two weeks after Sunstreaker'death)

As quietly as he could Sideswipe snuck out of the apartment he now alone shared with his guardian Highspeed.

He transformed and started to drive down the street.

Unbeknown to him, Highspeed had seen him and she quickly followed him.

She arrived in a street and quickly hid as she saw Sideswipe approach Wheelspin.

"It's been a while Sideswipe." Wheelspin said.

"I need to talk to you." Sideswipe said.

"What about?" Wheelspin said.

"I can't do this anymore Wheelspin, these protests have led to nothing but chaos and now Sunstreaker is dead." Sideswipe said.

"He died to help our cause." Wheelspin said.

"HELP OUR CAUSE, Wheelspin these protests are not helping at all, the council are ignorant to how Decepticons are suffering, everything Sunstreaker and I have done to help you has done nothing, if you want to truly help our kind you'd stop these protests, anything is better than what you're doing!" Sideswipe exclaimed.

At this point Highspeed decided she had heard enough and stepped out from her hiding place.

"We seem to have company." Wheelspin said, distaste evident in his tone.

Sideswipe turned and his optics widened in horror.

"Highspeed." Sideswipe said.

"Sideswipe please listen, he won't help you or the others, but we can bring him in." Highspeed said.

"So you heard, you know." Sideswipe said fearfully.

"Sideswipe, whatever it is you've done, whatever crimes you've committed, you can make up for it now by helping me stop him." Highspeed said trying to get through to the young bot.

Sideswipe closed his optics tears welling in his optics as he struggled to think.

"I'm afraid." He said.

"I know you are." Highspeed said.

Sideswipe opened his optics, an almost cold look them.

"I'm afraid it's too late." Sideswipe said drawing his sword.

"No." Highspeed said horrified.

Sideswipe lunged forward and Highspeed quickly drew her sword and blocked the blow.

Their swords clashed for a few moments before Highspeed suddenly vanished from sight.

Sideswipe looked around for her, Wheelspin smirking in the background.

Sideswipe jolted slightly as he heard Highspeed's voice.

"I am on your side Sideswipe, I stepped from my position on the council, you were right about so many things, the council should have listened, Sunstreaker did not have to die." Highspeed said.

Sideswipe closed heart a optics again as the mention of his twins' name made his spark clench.

Sideswipe suddery spotted her and the two immediately began dueling again.

After several minutes Sideswipe had Highspeed pinned to the ground and rose his sword ready to strike.

"Sideswipe...please." Highspeed begged.

Sideswipe closed his optics as he swung his sword downwards.

It slammed into the ground in front of them.

Sideswipe collapsed onto his knees his whole frame shuddering as he sobbed Violently.

Highspeed hugged the young mech.

"I knew you weren't like him." She smiled.

Suddenly a shot ran through the air and Highspeed saw a smoking hole in chest, she collapsed onto the ground.

"HIGHSPEED!" Sideswipe exclaimed in horror, taking his guardian's hand.

"Don't worry Sideswipe, you'll be fine without me, you'll find your way." Highspeed said looking up at the frightened teen.

"But you're the one who saved me." Sideswipe said looking into her optics.

"I love you Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and I, we love you so much." Highspeed said her optics going dull as she offlined.

"Highspeed." Sideswipe said looking at the dead body of his guardian.

"Such a great loss." Wheelspin said, though he didn't sound particularly sad.

Sideswipe stood up and walked backwards slightly.

"And just what are you doing.?" Wheelspin demanded.

"Giving you a clear shot." Sideswipe said.

Wheelspin pointed his blaster at Sideswipe and was about to fire when suddenly Sideswipe ran forward grabbing his sword, lodging it in Wheelspin's chest with a mighty swing.

Sideswipe heard sirens in the distance and without looking back he transformed and fled away into the night.

Present:

With a roar of rage Sideswipe lunged forward and swung his Decepticon hunter at Wheelspin, the two beginning another duel.

The Bee team trying to help where they could, but Wheelspin kept his focus on Sideswipe.

Sideswipe swung at Wheelspin again but the Decepticon slashed into his Decepticon hunter which began emitting sparks violently.

"Frag." Sideswipe cursed and threw it at Wheelspin.

There was a colossal explosion and when the dust had cleared the weapon was destroyed and Wheelspin was unconscious on the ground.

He was quickly cuffed and hauled through the groundbridge, being put in a stasis pod as soon as he was through.

Sideswipe went to his quarters, he couldn't even bear to look at his team.

Especially now that they knew his darkened past.

Hi! If it's okay to request/ask, could you do a scenario/headcanon of tfrid 2015, Steeljaw's pack, with human (gn! or f!) Reader? Romantic/Platonic

Human Reader's a cinnamon roll, and has the personality/backstory of Perrito from Puss in Boots movie. They're very motherly and therapy-like friend and also a Pacifist but can be passive-aggressive

Steeljaw's pack x cinnamon roll gn human hcs

Grrrrr hello anon! Ty for the request, I hope this is what you were looking for- I can always do another if not đŸ«¶(I haven't watched tfrid in a hot minute, hopefully I didn't forget anyone- lmao)

Steeljaw: He admires your ability to keep everyone in check in spite of your small size, though you're also slightly unnerving to him. How can you be so kind and patient after the life you've lived? He trusts you, but he'll also try to keep an eye on you, just in case.

Thunderhoof: To him, you're a pleasant change of pace compared to the rest of the group. Since you're so kind and relaxed, he often goes to you to unwind after a long day. Of course, in front of the others he'd treat you the same as everyone else, but when he's alone with you he's actually a pretty decent dude.

Fracture (+Divebomb & Airazor): He'd never admit it, but he's rather fond of you. Sometimes he worries about you since you're a pacifist, and he'll try to convince you to train with him and teach you some swordsmanship skills. As he sees your ability to keep people in check with your passive-aggressiveness, he slowly relaxes and doesnt bother you about training as much. His minicons, Divebomb and Airazor, are obsessed with you. They think you're amazing! They always try to grab your attention to play games with you while the others are on missions. You're like a parent to them, and Fracture only trusts you to watch over them when he can't take them on a mission.

Underbite: He tries to keep up his tough and intimidating reputation, but he's really just a big sweetheart. Underneath all that bulk is a golden retriever personality, and it shines around you. He'd die on the spot if anyone ever found out, but he loves playing catch with you. You always make sure that he gets enough metal to eat so he doesn't get distracted during missions, and his performance continues to improve thanks to you.

Clampdown: Whenever he gets in trouble with the others, which is often, he'll run to hide behind you. Your pleasant demeanor is usually able to calm the situation before someone loses their cool at him. The poor coward clings to you like glue, staying with you for protection.

A lovely meet

One afternoon in the woods, a red minicon accompanied with his friend in which he looked like a samurai, they were both looking for something. When one of them says:  Slipstream: Jetstorm, go that way. While I go that way.  Jetstorm: Sure! You got it! The two went in different directions, Slipstream focused on his mission, suddenly hearing a sound of leaves flapping in a bush.  Turning and quickly drawing his spear, he points to the place where the sound came from, and as soon as a loud sound was made, the red minicon did not think twice about attacking.  Slipstream: AAH!  He brings down another minicon, which this time was a Decepticon, which had purple skin, a three-pointed helmet that growled.  Divebomb: Argh! What the! Ah!?  He spots the bot in front of him, who points his spear at him.  Slipstream: You..! What are you doing here?!  Divebomb: Grr! It’s none of your business! - He gets up angry, with his claws ready to attack. Slipstream: You better not dare! I didn’t come alone! Divebomb: Oh oh! I’m scared! Tell me another you! Little samurai of low class! Provoking the Autobot, he made him angry, made a push with his spear, which drops him to the ground once again, trapping him. Slipstream: Now you tell me at once, what are you doing here!? Is it by chance to spy and inform your boss about our mission?! Divebomb: I told you it’s not your Urgh!   Slipstream presses the lance handle against your neck. Divebomb: Okay! I talk! I didn’t come to spy on you! I was just walking around! I don’t care about your little lives! Slipstream: Oh yeah? And how do I know you’re NOT LYING? Divebomb: Maybe because I’m alone and my master don't know? And can you stop suffocating me!? I can’t breathe! Slipstream: Good.. I don’t have much confidence in you, Decepticon.. So.. I want you to promise that you won’t attack me and I’ll set you free.. Alright? Divebomb: Uugh.. Yeah, yeah! I promise.. And slowly, Slipstream pulled out of him, Divebomb pulled away and stood up, looking at his rival. Divebomb: What now? Am I free?  Slipstream: Let me see.. Hmm.. No. I guess I’ll have to keep you as my prisoner.  - He gives a singing smile, which leaves the Decepticon little concerned about that. And that’s when he had a brilliant idea and then he started talking:  Divebomb: Oh no! Did I become your prisoner now? Well.. Since you said that, how about I do something for you?  Slipstream: Is this serious?  Divebomb: Of course! You seem pretty stressed lately, could I help you with that?  He approaches, the red mini bot still suspicious, points his spear right at him. With his hand, Dive passively lowers the weapon while continuing to speak:  Divebomb: Relax.. I won’t do anything to you. Strumming Slip’s hand, which showed a bluish flushing, confused with the situation, in an unexpected motion, he entwined his arms behind his neck, bringing his face closer to that of Slipstream, who asked:  Slipstream: Uh.. W-what are you doing.?  Divebomb: Don’t worry, it won’t hurt.. And you’ll like it..  Finally, he joined his lips with his, in a light and satisfying kiss, Slip looked surprised for a second before yielding to that romantic moment.  After this surprise, the two separate, and on the face of the red minicon was a strong blue shade of blush, while the Decepticon had a slight laugh. Until a voice interrupts that moment:  Jetstorm: SLIPSTREAM!  Divebomb sees the other approach and then runs away, leaving Slip with the Jet.  Jetstorm: Slip! He did something to you!? Are you okay? Slipstream seems to get stuck in a mess of thoughts that tried to process what had happened, until he was awakened and responds to his companion:  Slipstream: N-no, I’m fine.. Come on.. Just go back.. The master must be worried..  Jetstorm: Uuh.. But what about him?  Sliptream: Let him go.. Let’s go.. - he was walking away, Jet at that time did not know what was happening and what just happened, but was accompanying his partner back to the junkyard. All the characters (c) Transformers Robots in Disguise

CLAWSTREAM

CLAWSTREAM

Gender: Femme

Type: Minicon

Home: Earth Faction: None Clawstream is a minicon, the adopted daughter of Slipstream and Divebomb. She has the same average height as a human. Having features similar to Divebomb, such as having sharp claws and thick arms. She has a samurai characteristic too. Personality:   She is very playful and adventurous, being curious to every human or cybertronian engineering or species of living being. The first time she saw Russell, she kept asking Bee if he could turn into a car like him and also why he’s so small. And there was this one time, she drew on a metal plate, her parents and her. And when she showed them, Slipstream was crying for an hour of cuteness while Dive laughed at him.

Backstory:

Clawstream is a minicon that was created on planet Earth and adopted by Slipstream and Divebomb as her parents, she grew up learning life on the planet and with her parents about their groups, she became indecisive about which group she belonged to. So she was left without a mark, it didn’t stop her from being cheerful and playful with Bee’s team members

Clawstream likes to hear the stories of Drift in Cybertron and his work, as a hobby, she trains with her father Slipstream or spends time trying to bite Divebomb’s tail and play with it.

She met Bumble Bee’s team, but she never met the Decepticon team. Maybe because the Autobots were afraid that they would influence her to be on their team.

In this case, the Decepticons do not know about the existence of Clawstream, kept secret by Divebomb.
