Everything I've seen and read has gone on the assumption that a deal is broken if a sinner who sold their soul is redeemed. But what if it isn't? What if whoever owned them in Hell still owns them?
That would make overlords so much more dangerous to have winners at their disposal. That also brings into question whether or not what they're forced to do by their souls' owners counts towards their status as a winner/sinner, since it wasn't by choice.

Idk why it took me so long to realize this—
Velvette, a social media influencer and controller of the sort, calls out another individual (Carmilla, a well-known overlord and weapons dealer) of a crazy thing they did (killing an angel) and calling them out for their hypocrisy and cowardice (hiding the fact that she killed the angel and yet refusing to act when heaven is slaughtering the demon population.) All of this in front of other people who are affiliated with said person being exposed.
TL;DR: Velvette got Carmilla cancelled. Or at least, she was intending to do so.

I have a hc that Velvette used to be one of Carmilla’s daughters. It would explain why Carmilla was so patient with her at the meeting and the similarities in their design.
(Im just saying,rewatch Respectless but think of vel as camilla’s estranged daughter. “This meetings over!” felt like the ultimate “THATS IT! GO TO YOUR ROOM” to me)

- Alastor and Nifty: They're both so odd and I love them as buddies.
- Carmilla and Zestiel: Sure, you can view them romantically but I think it's cuter that they're just best friends and Zestiel is a father figure to her daughters.
- Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust: How did I forget the OG besties? I don't know but they deserve to cause problems as a treat.

- Angel Dust and Husk: As cute as it could be for them to be in love, the fact that Husk is 30 years older is yikes but I can see them as best friends.
- Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb: Do I have to clarify? Literal besties from the start and I love them.
- Vox/Valentino and Velvette: The Vees are the worst but I feel like Velvette is like Vox and Val's lesbian friend who has custody of the brain cell between the three.
- Sir Pentious and Everyone: He's just a friendly guy and I love him and his bonds with everyone.
