i wonder if theres any correlation between liking the early seasons better + growing up in a small town. i feel like a lot of my own love for those seasons comes from feeling seen in shitty rundown motels and diners and broken abandoned wooden buildings and everybody knowing everyone. and for me personally, the great escapist fantasy is having freedom from all of that, such as driving around from town to town in a car that is the same thing as a home, but never quite leaving it behind either. having the mobility to leave the town you grew up in, not having to live and die in the same place, but also never quite leaving behind the towns with buildings that look like they could be in the old west and shooting cans after school and being late because you got caught behind a tractor. having the freedom to leave when you feel too stuck, but also having the freedom to stop at the nearest truck stop and feel like no time has passed since you were six years old, or eleven, or fourteen, because time doesnt really exist in small towns, and sometimes it feels like you dont either

do you ever just get really upset when watching supernatural because you relate to sam so much and then you watch him go thru so much horrible stuff and you watch people betray him and you realize that its not a good thing to relate to him, or are you normal?

all i want is to sleep eight hours at a normal time. but clealy thats too much to ask for

I cant be the only person who has two violently different comfort shows.

Like Supernatural and Heartstopper have saved my life but like the only thing they have in common is that not a single character in either show has ever felt comfort in their lives

i really fucking hate how the media has romantized depression, and all mental illness so much. like it makes people think being depressed is the cool, trendy thing to do. it doesnt show how some days you cant get out of bed and how you cant always even take care of yourself or basic hygiene or how it literally affects everything you do on a day-to-day basis. i wish that the media would stop showing depression as just being sad and show it for what it really is, cause its absolute hell and i wouldn't wish it on anyone.

the feelings of seeing the number on the scale drop is a better feeling than food has ever given me.

i need someone the physically yell at me everytime I don't go to bed hungry cause the voice in my head hasnt been doing its job lately.

why am i so bad at not eating. all i have to do is literally not do it. like why is that so hard for me?
