Nurture - Tumblr Posts
I found this in my dharma pub this morning:
"The Seeds of Lasting Peace"
Patience is an enormously supportive and even magical practice. It’s a way of completely shifting the fundamental human habit of trying to resolve things by either going to the right or the left, labeling things “good” or labeling them “bad.” It’s the way to develop fearlessness, the way to contact the seeds of war and the seeds of lasting peace—and to decide which ones we want to nurture.
GET YOUR WISH

did you get your wish?
The Belted Kingfisher is one of the few species of True Birds who do not build nests, opting instead to keep the single egg safe in their mouth. Like their Penguin cousins only one of the breeding pair nurtures the egg at a time, but luckily their long beaks allow the non-carrying partner to poke food past the egg and allow the carrier to eat whilst brooding.
Mandala manifesting 🌻 To make our dreams come true, we must nurture ourselves and each other. Just like flowers in the sun, we grow and change together throughout life.
Abundance flows 🌊 when we take care of ourselves in every way. When we invest in our own well-being, we build up our strength and resilience. Caring for ourselves makes us want to care for others, sharing the same love and attention we've given ourselves.
Lean Back 😊 I take a moment to lean back, allowing myself to flow naturally with the rhythms of life, and open my heart to receive the abundant blessings from the earth. As I ground myself in stillness, I feel the nurturing energy rise from beneath my feet.

The space background was harder to do then I expected, but I think it turned out alright.
Lost in the Swipe: The Erosion of Meaningful Relationships in the Digital Age
In the digital age, where swiping left and right feels more natural than meeting someone in person, relationships have lost their luster. Online dating platforms promise an ocean of possibilities, but beneath the surface lies a shallow pool of transient connections. With every new match, the illusion of endless options lulls us into a state of complacency, where the slightest ripple of conflict prompts us to abandon ship. It's a disposable culture we've cultivated, where commitment is as fragile as a fleeting trend on social media. People are quick to discard their current partner in search of what they perceive to be greener pastures elsewhere. Little do they realize, “the grass isn't greener on the other side; it's greener where you water it” (Wolfgang Puck). Yet, amidst the mirage of endless choices, this wisdom is drowned out. We've become slaves to the dopamine rush of new matches, forgetting that true connection and fulfillment stem from commitment, patience, and genuine effort. In our quest for instant gratification, we've forsaken the depth and richness that can only be found in nurturing and growing a relationship over time.
