Silly little headcanons #1

Lucifer

Definitely has a favourite pen and everyone dreads the day he will have to change it.

He once shrunk Cerberus and carried him around in a handbag because he had to go to the vet.

Joint pains (no, I will not elaborate)

Has a picture in his wallet of his brothers and MC. Luke is also there for some reason.

Mammon

Will turn off the lights and walk out of his room. Walks back a few moments later to check if he remembered to turn the lights off.

Boops his younger brothers on the nose when he says goodnight.

Considered dying his hair piss yellow at some point.

He swears that Luke is just an annoying little chihuahua that he doesn't care about. But the pictures of him accompanying Luke to the cinema suggest otherwise.

Leviathan

He forgets to throw out socks with holes in them. So sometimes he will just walk around with socks that are barely holding on.

Has a controller that only MC is allowed to use. He will not even use it himself.

Can touch his nose with his tongue

Accidentally called his brothers "Ruri" on multiple occasions.

Satan

Has an album on his phone with pictures of him and Lucifer. Will deny it if you ask him.

Once cursed the entirety of Lucifer's record collection. The curse in question made it so the only song on any of the records was Baby Shark.

When he wants MC's attention he will go "pspspsps."

Satan has put on his blue jacket normally a grand total of 6 times.

Asmodeus

Will wear heels with just about anything. Yes, that includes sweatpants.

A lesser demon once found out about MC's deepest insecurity and started using it to insult them. Asmodeus found out and sent the demon flying through a wall.

He either sneezes like a cat or like an old man. There is no in-between.

He reminds everyone in HoL to drink water and will make sure they do so one way or another.

Beelzebub

Not allowed to be alone in RAD's art supply room. He will eat the paint if left unattended.

He only had 4 shirts until Asmodeus forced him to get more.

Takes Luke with him around RAD when Simeon can't. Also scared of any demon that looks at Luke the wrong way.

He has carried every single one of his brothers to bed more than once. Lucifer is no exception.

Belphegor

Follows the cat rule. If it fits I sits.

Don't tell anyone but his favourite blanket is the jackets of his older brothers.

Will sometimes force people to take a nap with him. Does someone look tired boom it's nap time.

Pops his back really loudly whenever he wakes up

Simeon

Will show anyone and I mean anyone pictures of Luke like a proud father.

Got scammed once and now he's afraid of opening links.

He once accompanied Beel to a workout and ended up destroying a punching bag.

Do not under any circumstances let him be alone in the candle section of a store. Purgatory Hall already has a closet full of them.

Raphael

Tried to kill a fly with one of his spears.

When asked if he wanted anything special for his birthday he requested a cake made by Solomon.

Enjoys watching butterflies flutter around. He will stand absolutely still if one lands on him and stay like that until the butterfly leaves again.

Wins every staring contest.

Luke

Has gotten lost in stores, parks and RAD so many times that he now has a bracelet with the contact info of Simeon and Barbatos. Even though he has his own D.D.D.

Mimics Simeon and Raphael to appear like a mature angel.

He will never admit it but he makes drawings for the brothers.

Luke and MC have a secret handshake.

Solomon

Immune to the pain of stepping on a lego.

Once accidentally turned himself into a rat and nearly got murdered by Barbatos.

Enjoys watching romcoms with MC.

Can and will randomly appear in MC's room tell them a horrible joke and then vanish into thin air.

Thirteen

She has the most random things in her pocket. Watch her pull out a porcelain frog from one of her pockets.

She had a buzz cut at some point.

Will drag you out of bed in the middle of the night so you can test her new inventions.

Loves playing with people's hair. It doesn't matter what texture or length it is. Just let her play with it.

Diavolo

Has a rubber duck collection.

Was introduced to vocaloid and now he won't stop singing World is Mine.

Gives the best hugs. 10/10 would hug again.

Buys Barbatos flowers every week to show his appreciation.

Barbatos

Knows how to tap dance.

I think he's insatiable not only with food but also in the bedroom. He's mentioned in canon a few times that he feels less hungry when he's around you, so I do think that carries on to sex as well. When he's with you, that's the only thing on his mind. He's still hungry, but for you instead of food. He can sit between your thighs and give you oral for a very long time, and he loves to overstimulate you that way. It happens so often that it gets to the point that Mc can't sleep all that well without someone there with them

They can get to sleep just fine, it's the staying asleep that's the difficult part

They'll just wake up in the middle of the night, wondering why none of the brothers have come for cuddles until they realize they're not in the Devildom anymore

It's not easy to fall back asleep after that

It keeps happening after that for quite some time no matter what they try be it melatonin, tea, or sleep aid audios

That is until they get a body pillow

The first night Mc sleeps with it, they don't get up at all until morning when their alarm goes off

Although nothing could compare to good ol demon snuggles, the body pillow is a good backup when none are around or available

And no, Mc would not tell any of the brothers about the pillow, why?

Don't pretend for a even a second that they wouldn't either steal or destroy that pillow out of jealously

It doesn't matter if that thing helps their human sleep when they are up in the human realm, it is the stealer of cuddles and it shall never see the light of day again so long as they are around 👿

Mc going around saying "I hate men" then having to explain to the brothers that they don't count. It then changed to "I hate human men" and then having to explain that Solomon doesn't count either. Yet when Mc says "Men are dumb" no one bats an eye except Mammon who very emphatically tries to prove he is not.

Lucifer

The eldest had recently discovered the trend 'man vs bear' and was interested in your point of view on the matter so he decided to come to you and ask directly. And as much as he was expecting to hear that answer it still shook him to the core.

Lucifer: mumbling "Bear? Hm.. not that I didn't expect to hear that.."

He kept silent for a few more seconds before speaking up again.

Lucifer: "MC could you explain why you chose bear..?"

MC: "Well.. I just... I guess I don't feel particularly safe around men? The thought of what men are capable of scares me.."

Lucifer looked at you with concern in his eyes. He took your hands in his and gave you a sincere look.

Lucifer: "MC, I'm aware why you chose the bear. But.. I want you to know that you're be safe in the Devildom or wherever you maybe be when I'm right there with you. I'll make sure no man, no demon lays a finger on you."

Silence followed and the demon took a deep breath. He carefully wrapped his arms around you and spoke into your ear.

Lucifer: "...I know I, myself am a man but please trust me. I would never do anything to harm you."

Satan

The fourth-born heard of that trend from Asmo and wasn't particularly interested until one day before heading to bed he decided that he had to know your answer. So the next day he came to you with the question but the answer wasn't what he was expecting.

Satan: "Bear? Why bear? MC, were keeping you safe here in the Devildom no one would dare to lay a hand on you. Why did you choose bear?"

MC: "Satan, this question talk about men in general not men in the Devildom. And I'd be lying if I said that I feel safe around men."

The demon fell silent. Soon enough he took your hand in his and caressed its knuckles.

Satan: "MC, do you feel safe around me..?"

You smiled softly at the demon and nodded your head.

MC: "Of course I feel safe around you, Satan. You've long proven yourself that you're worthy of my trust.."

A relieved smile appeared on his face and he brought your hand to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss to your knuckles.

Satan: "Thank you, MC. I promise to always protect you from the dangers of life. I love you."

Barbatos

Barbatos was never interested in trends so he wasn't fast to get to know of this one. But once when Diavolo mentioned it and said that he'd like to know what your answer would be Barbatos was determined to confront you about it. And as much as he has hoped your answer would be different he had predicted what you'd say.

Barbatos: "I see..."

The demon kept silent for a minute, lost in his thoughts.

MC: "Barbatos? Is everything alright? You seem disappointed.."

Barbatos: "Disappointed? No. I'm just concerned.."

MC: "Concerned about my answer?"

Barbatos: "Indeed I am."

MC: "Well.. I mean.. of course I'd choose bear.. you never know what could go through a man's head.."

Barbatos: "Well yes of course, MC. You are quite tight but I can't help but wonder... Do you feel safe here with us in the Devildom?"

MC: "I'd be lying if I said that I don't. Even if something happens I know I can rely on the brothers or one of you guys to help me."

Barbatos smiled and took your hand in his, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of it.

Barbatos: "Good. Always know that you're safe in the Devildom. Whether it would be me or the brothers or whoever it is that is protecting you. And if something happens you can rely on me to handle it."

MC: "Thank you, Barbatos!"

Barbatos: "Of course. It is my duty to ensure your safety here in the Devildom."

Physical Human things that freak Demons out

Musings

Humans have more endurance/Stamina and flexibility and general hardiness than either Angels or Demons. Sure Angels and Demons are super fast, super strong and magic, but I think the average human walking could outdistance a demon walking at the same pace. (Humans are pursuit predators after all)

As for hardiness, yeah humans are easy to kill - however, if they don’t die they survive a whole hell of a lot, some of which would actually kill a demon)

IE Humans can survive losing limbs but its basically fatal to demons and angels. Humans can also get their limbs re-attached, but once a Demon or Angel looses a limb, it’s pretty much gone except in the most ideal of circumstances. (Their physiology makes it extremely complex and difficult, magic or otherwise to reattach)

This is mostly going to be about Demon reactions, because I think that Angels have either had enough exposure that they’re chill about it, or they’re able to keep their composure. Luke may be taken aback at first, but after you and Simeon explain that humans can just do that, he thinks it’s cool!

Headcannons for this are the Human introducing Just Dance or something and just winning by default bc no one else can do the moves, even if the MC has limited mobility or strength. Or them doing super mundane things like reaching behind them or twisting their back to look over. I also think Humans have more fluid motion than Angels or Demons bc of the flexibility and also bc we are full of fluid lol. Not necessarily graceful - just fluid. I also think we have a winder range of motion in general, like our joints

This is a continuation of the flexibility thing - Levi may stream occasionally and one time the MC was on the stream (accidentally or invited ect) and they give Levi a thumbs up and the chat and Levi absolutely lose their minds (doubly so for a hitchhikers thumb) because Demons don’t have as wide a range of motion.

MC like twists in their seat to look at Barbatos one day while at the Demon Castle and Diavolo panics inside and almost instinctually casts some healing magic - but MC seems fine? Oh! Interesting, he’d like to learn more.

Satan and MC go on a walk one day and by the end of the walk Satan is astounded at how much stamina humans have. His usual walk (one that tires him out reliably) didn’t have as much of an effect.

This would still happen if the MC needed mobility aids too, and might not happen with walking but would happen with other things. They might be able to work with their hands for longer or something similar.

If the MC is an athlete, I don’t think they would be able to outspeed anybody at all but I do think that them being able to outdistance people is a thing. Like they run with Beel one time and though Beel is way faster, after a few loops or after the route is finished  he’s unable to go any more, but the MC can still run. (I think out of the brothers, Levi and Beel have the most stamina, I also think Levi is the fastest swimmer, and Asmo is the most flexible)

One day Lucifer comes home to MC lying upside -down on the couch, their spine bent backwards, their head close to the ground, and their legs over the back - and he let out the most high pitched shriek MC had ever heard. They were just chilling, stretching a bit, really.

Belphegor loves how flexible MC is and how they’re built. It’s comfy and he can experience cuddles in new ways. Plus it’s fun to see the others freak out when the MC does things, though sometimes he’s…unnerved to say the least.

Asmo delights in watching how MC moves, and not just in a lustful way. He loves to watch you and notice little things about you.

Beel likes to move with you - walking, running, swimming, dancing, even handiwork, he likes to do it with you. Its a way for him to connect with you in a special way, doing physical activity together. (Not just sports and athletics but like, literally anything)

Satan is fascinated by new things, and wants to learn. This means, that he’s fascinated by and wants to learn about you! In any way possible. He thinks the way you move is super fascinating, doubly so because it’s you. He’ll ask you do do certain movements and tricks with your body in order to a) learn more about you (and humans in general, but mostly you) and b) see you move in fun ways. Additionally - this has some potential for the anti-Lucifer League

Levi is honestly in awe of how dexterous you are - even if the mc has limited mobility in their hands, you can still do some things with the buttons on the controller that he just cannot do. (Like, he can do normal videogaming motions, but he can’t do ones humans can that involve stretching their hands out, or curling their fingers to hit some buttons) It fills him with awe, and at first he’s full of envy, but then things change. He’ll watch you playing, and sometimes might ask for help if he’s having trouble with some maneuvers

Mammon straight up uses you as a distraction, but also  it backfires because it distracts him as well. RIP his schemes

Barbatos is thoroughly amused, both in the reactions of others and in the things you do to illicit those reactions,

Demons vs Human Joints

It was a brief, trivial thing, to stretch and crack multiple joints in their body. Brief and trivial to them, at least! Popping the nitrogen bubbles in the synovial fluid surrounding their joints was something that humans naturally did. To some it was a habit, to some it brought relief. Sometimes it just happened.  But to Demons? That was not a sound bodies should be making.

Lucifer

“Would you care to explain that awful noise that just emanated from your body, MC?”

That reaction is absolutely a cover up for how genuinely concerned he is. He’s only heard noises like that on a battlefield.

He had been assigned to keep you safe, and now it’s a desire he truly has. He acknowledges that he has failed to do so on several occasions and absolutely never wants that to happen again.

As soon as he heard it, his head whipped towards you, eyes roaming over to make sure you were okay.

Even though he knows it doesn’t hurt you, every time you do it he instinctively checks you over. 

Mammon

“The Great Mammon demands for you to never make that noise ever again.”

The crack in his voice serves to undermine his command. As soon as he heard that noise, and knew the noise was coming from MC, he frantically grabbed MC’s shoulders.

Expertly checks for injuries, which to some may be surprising but only until one remembers he’s the second oldest, and has taken care of his siblings, and now he’s inspecting MC as he had inspected his brothers, countless times before.

“You’re so weird, ya know. I don’t know how to react to even half the things you do! - What even was that sound??”

He is very relieved it wasn’t serious, but he got flustered when he realized his actions. “Well. Of course I knew humans could do that, I am the Great Mammon!”

Every time you do it around him, he perks up. If he had dog ears they would raise in awareness.

He doesn’t quite know how else to react to it - sure, it might be fun to have MC do it to freak others out, especially his brothers. But the sound disturbs him too, just a little bit, and every time he hears it, although he knows you’re okay, worry spikes. So, he always perks up when he hears it.

Leviathan

“WHOA! That’s so cool!”

The first time Levi heard you crack your knuckles, he did a massive double take. See, he was in the unique position of knowing of the phenomenon but believing it was something that didn’t actually happen, much like nosebleeds upon being aroused.

He wasn’t as worried as some of the other demons were, since he was aware of the concept.

It seemed like he was a bit starstruck, to he honest. - “Humans can actually do that!? I thought it was something that had been made up for effect! He forgets his self consciousness and continues his musings.

Frankly, the discovery delights him and he asks MC to do it all the time. His brother’s reactions to this deeply amuse him as well. Sometimes he’ll also ask you to recreate scenes where the characters crack their joints.

Based on the joint MC cracked, the type of his eagerness/reaction is different.

Satan

“You continue to surprise me, MC, It’s truly fascinating to learn more about you. Can humans crack any of their joints?”

Satan was aware that human bodies could do some thoroughly weird things, (To non-humans) but as to the extent, and what exactly that entailed? That was something he had yet to find out. And, find out he would.

Similar to Levi, he requests for you to crack your joints, though he says it’s “purely for academic interest”

Which is total bullshit, that’s only a part of it. He also actually likes the sound. Not in an “What a nice, soothing sound” kind of way, in a “Oh, that was a neat sound!” kinda way.

He, in turn, starts to share things demons can do with the MC. It becomes a mutually beneficial exchange.

He enjoys that you can easily freak some of his brothers out, Lucifer especially.

It makes him happy to learn more about humans, and specifically about you.

Asmodeus

“MC Dear.” Asmo’s tone is bright and bubbly but his expression reveals the fact that he is desperately trying to keep his composure. “What the fuck was that?”

He was aware that humans had more mobility and flexibility than demons, but many of the things MC did surprised him at first. And he loved watching them move, the fluidity of their movement was always fun and delightful to watch. Especially because MC was the one moving.

But he wasn’t the most knowledgeable about the mechanics of human mobility, and frankly, that impossible (to him) maneuver, accompanied by those cracking sounds was highly alarming,  

His natural instinct was to scream and rush over to them, checking for injuries. But MC seemed perfectly fine!

As long as MC was fine, there was no need for him to fret. But! This was something new they could do.

He would not request them to do it, but he pays attention for it! Hearing the cracking sound and seeing the accompanying movement sends shivers up his spine.

Beelzebub

“MC, you made that noise? Are you okay?”

The severity of his reaction really depends on the context. For example, of the MC cracks their knuckles before getting down to work on something, he’ll just pause, look over them and ask if they’re okay, either non-verbally or verbally. Once he gets confirmation, he’ll nod and continue on his way. This happens every time the MC cracks their knuckles and other “low severity” joints. 

However, if he hugs the MC and cracks their back, he will immediately loosen his hold (but not let go as he does not want to drop them and potentially injure them more) and goes into crisis mode, making sure that MC is not injured and preparing to cast magic or take them to get treated.

Beel’s nature as a protector is extremely evident when this happens. Internally, he is extremely concerned and only the worst case scenario and horrible memories are running through his head.

Externally though, it’s a different story. He’s been through awful situations and does know how to keep his head in them. It doesn’t mean he’s not affected. However, those effects manifest in different ways.

Belphegor

“Ah, I see how it is. Specifically trying to unnerve me are you? Too bad - I  like it. ”

Belphie knows humans can crack their joints. Before, it was something he found genuinely interesting about them, since it’s something both Angels and Demons cannot do.

Now, after everything that’s happened, he still finds it fascinating, but he can’t help but flinch. He knows the difference between a good crack and a bad one, so to say but he can’t help it. Especially if the MC cracks their neck.

He’ll also briefly check on the MC, but not in the same way the others do. Usually he’ll just peer at MC and when he confirms that nothing is wrong he’ll shift his focus, preferring not to dwell on it. 

He also likes to listen in when Satan and Levi talk to the MC about it, when he can. It doesn’t happen a lot, because he’s often asleep and they usually ask the MC in private but when it does he pays rapt attention.

Barbatos

“Ah, yet another new piece of information for me to file away.“

Barbatos is honestly the most chill about it, after the first time. He has seen a lot throughout his life, and just accepts that it is a thing that happens.

The first time though, was different, He genuinely did not know it was a thing. It slipped through the cracks, so to say as he had a lot of other stuff to focus on.

The MC cracks their joints and Barbatos, in a very businesslike manner, proceeds to examine them for injuries, and, finding none, prepares to cast some emergency magic as clearly the injury is internal. Genuinely he is very worried, but pushes it aside to handle things.

After the MC explains things, he calms down. Though his composure was never lost in the first place, relief is visible in his eyes.

He finds great amusement in watching other demons react to the sound and the discovery. He will play little pranks on the others with the MC as long as they’re up for it.

Diavolo

“I never would have guessed! It seems there are more differences between Humans and Demons than initially thought. How wonderful!”

Diavolo did keep his composure when MC cracked their joints in front of him the first time, but he was much more openly concerned than Barbatos was.

“MC, what happened? Are you injured?” Magic sparkling at his fingertips in order to heal or teleport, whatever MC needed.

Once that is cleared up, he will also ask you to crack your joints again. It’s interesting to him, and the more he understands about humans, the closer he gets to his goal. Not to mention, there may be a bit of a personal interest as well. ^J^

He’ll also ask Solomon about it! Sometimes though, he’ll also try to crack his joints, but he never injures himself or overdoes it. It’s more of a way for him to try to be closer to the MC. He just thinks it’s neat, and that it would be neat if he could do it too!

Also, he adds that little tidbit of information to the compiled knowledge on humans he maintains. Asks if there are any more things like that that Humans can do, and the MC can tell him about a multitude of things, such as being double jointed.

I haven’t written anything but take this headcanon I thought of for Lucifer.

What if Lucifer hates having blood on him, mostly his brothers or MC after Lilith’s death? He would scrub his skin where the blood landed or take off his clothes

MC : *picking up a fish* How will henry eat this? He's a goldfish...

Levi : Just give it to him and you'll see

MC : *throws the fish at henry*

Henry : *turns his head into a big sea monster and captures the fish*

MC :

Levi : See? He got it!

MC : HENRY ISN'T A GOLDFISH?!

Levi : He is, but a special one!

Henry : *turns his head back to normal*

What if MC turned into a frog thou, would Lucifer kiss it? I'm curious 😂

Lucifer : . . .

MC : 🐸

Lucifer : Are you absolutely sure that If I kiss MC right now they will turn into a human again? *Furrows eyebrows*

Levi : Yep!!! Absolutely! It almost always works in the animes, I'd say 70% of the time

Lucifer : That doesn't sound convincing.

Levi : A true loves kiss will break the spell, or—

Lucifer : No way, Beel here you go. *accidentally hands it to Diavolo thinking he was Beel*

Diavolo : . . .

Diavolo : *kisses the frog* I love you very much, please turn back to normal

MC : *poof, turns into human*

Diavolo : *smiles at them*
