This actually makes a lot of sense

HELLUVA BOSS THEORY

Why Moxxie is probably one of the most powerful imps in Helluva Boss

----------------------------------------------------------

Throughout the entire series so far, Moxxie has gotten pretty beat up and called weak, but I think he's one of the strongest imps. And here's why:

He constantly gets physically hurt and always survives with literally no injuries. In episode 5 alone, he got trampled over by multiple imps almost 3 times his size, bitten by a shark twice, slammed into the ground by 4 imps and then followed by the shark, slammed around by Striker, and had absolutely no injuries and only a scratch on his face for a single scene after being slammed by the imps. For other examples, in the pilot he was punted by Loona. In the 2nd episode he was burned and bruised but was completely coherent and nothing broken. In episode 3 he was a little scratched up but that was literally at least 6 succubi slamming him around. In episode 4 he was stuck under 2 conveyor belts and when he got up he was completely clean the first time, but we didn't see him get up from the second time.

For comparison of why this is so impressive: Millie in episode 1 was taken out by a beer bottle to the head, in episode 2 she was completely dead to the world at the end and in episode 5 she was also taken down by Striker but then also had her arm wrapped and her leg broken with her on crutches from a bear trap. Blitzø has pretty much been hinted at that he's a really strong imp, and in episode 1 a single bullet put a hole straight through his arm and in episode 2 he clearly had a lot of broken bones at the end.

The only reason Moxxie is not being seen like this is he himself believes that he is weak and it is his insecurity holding him back, confirmation bias. I think that at some point when Millie is in grave danger, more than in episode 1 when he broke free of the ropes, he's gonna snap and kill everything in sight.

Moxxie might not be the macho man but that bitch is bulletproof and definitely a very impressive imp.

What We’ve Learned About Succubi/Incubi

image

The first thing is that Succubi and Incubi (or at least the denizens of the Lust Ring) all seem to have X-shaped nipples, though because Kiki’s are heart-shaped and both Kiki and Verosika are wearing shirts, it is possible that for both of them, the chest markings are part of the shirt, and not what their nipples look like. So all we can really say with 100% certainty is that Incubi and male lust imps have X-shaped nipples.

image

There’s also clearly no set standard for horns among the Lust Ring denizens. Josh has the same horn types as Kiki and Apple, but then Ace’s horns are the same as Milky’s and Kat’s, and Coco’s horns are red at the tips unlike every other horns. But unless the crew comes forward to say that Milky and Josh are trans, the horns don’t seem to follow a gender binary like the imp horns do. Perhaps they indicate sexual preferences? Red with black tips for bi/pan, full black for likes boys, and full red for likes girls? Meanwhile, the bouncer has the white hair and horns like an imp, but he’s much taller than the imps inside. Up until now, Striker was the tallest imp we’d ever seen, but this one seems to be as tall as Striker. What’s more odd is that this imp has wings, but while all of Verosika’s crew have wings, their wings are all black. Only Verosika herself has wings like the bouncer, with wings that mostly match her skin tone. He also has the authority to choose who gets into a Prince’s private club/restaurant whatever. So, while he looks like an imp, it’s hard to say for certain if the bouncer is a standard imp, an incubus, or something else we haven’t been introduced to yet. But it seems like every demon from the lust ring might have wings? So, the shorter imps that serve tables inside may simply be immigrants from other rings. But if Lust Ring imps have wings, that sadly sort of shoots the Blitzo is a Lust Imp theory in the foot.

image

Horn and tail colors don’t seem to have any correlation. Ace, Milky, and Kat all have pure black horns, but Kat’s tail is pure black, Milky’s is pure red, and Ace’s is a gradient from red to black. It also doesn’t seem to be connected to gender, Coco, Apple, and Milky all have pure red tails, but Kiki’s tail is partially black. Now, again, it is possible that Kiki is trans, and only incubi have black on their tails, but again, this is not an established rule, and Verosika also has black at the tip of her tail. Now, Kiki and Verosika could both be trans, but we don’t currently have evidence of this.

image

The Bouncer again confuses matters, as his tail has a white tip, completely failing to follow the trend of other Lust Ring locals, though if he is an imp, then they could be wounds. But these are clearly more cream-colored compared to Blitzo’s stark white scar tissue. One thing I did notice however is that both the bouncer and Verosika are very similar in design. White hair, markings on the tips of their wings and tails that are the same color, and being of similar heights. So if the bouncer is not an imp, he may simply be the same type of incubus as Verosika is a sucubbus, such as if there’s different types or levels. However, Verosika does not have markings on her shoulders the same way the bouncer does, and she doesn’t have imp-like horns like he does either.

I'm bored so I'm gonna post my predictions for the rest of HB season 2

Episode 7: Similar structure to The Circus, one flashback with Blitz and Fizz at Mammon's concert, the second with Fizz working for Mammon and being miserable behind the scenes (maybe how he started working for Mammon in the first place), and lastly a scene/sequence at the end with Mammon in the present establishing him as a looming threat. Mammon will probably consider going after IMP due to another villain, probably either Crimson or Stella and Andre.

Episode 8: Stolas gives Blitz the asmodean crystals shortly before the gang get a new client and the episode follows them using the crystals for the first time while Blitz feels increasingly guilty. I get the feeling someone familiar might show up, like Barbie, the cherubs or the agents.

Episode 9: Blitz trying to fix things with Barbie and/or Verosika, probably the latter. I'm not sure what else we might see for the actual plot, but if we do see Verosika we'll also be getting more Tex content.

Episode 10: A weird, world-building episode in the vain of C.H.E.R.U.B, based on an old idea I had before the series properly started, a client jumps through a portal and assumes a ghostly form in the human world, with I.M.P. having to hunt them down. I really hope I'm right with this one

Episode 11: The most mysterious episode, there's a good chance this will be some completely new thing (or at least something following from something we haven't seen yet). If it is something already established then my money's one either the D.H.O.R.K.S or Stella and Andre, some people seem to think this will be another Crim episode, which is possible. A friend (who doesn't have a tumblr) suggested that this episode might introduce Belphegor, since she's implied to be a mad scientist, tough I find that highly unlikely I still thought it was worth noting.

Episode 12: Some big Stolas stuff, maybe the first time Stella and Andre personally try to carry out some scheme. Probably won't have anything to do with the plot, but we might learn about the Hellavrse's version of Krampus.

And that's all I've got, kind of hard to believe that by the time all these are put to the test we'll officially be half-way through the show. Feel free to discuss and suggest alternate ideas.

I'm sorry, but I must argue against this.

I think Mammon will be more of a lynchpin, one entity acting as a manifestation of the villains behind the show's current conflicts .

Given that he was likely involved in splitting Blitz and Fizz apart, along with Cash, him ruling over the only ring we've seen Crimson in, and being high enough in rank that he may occasionally cross paths with Stella and Andre. Mammon has all the connections to narratively tie these threats together in a logical way.

He's the perfect sin to embody I.M.P's main narrative opposition, up to this point in the show. He would still be a great thematic villain without even having to target the main cast directly at any point. After all, isn't callously acting in a way that will hurt others for personal gain the most basic form of greed?

After my last post on the topic, I’ve found myself thinking more on the theories that Mammon is going to be some kind of villain or otherwise antagonistic presences for Fizz and possibly Blitzo. And I’ve realized why I feel that idea just doesn’t seem to fit.

See, let’s look back on the proper recurring villains that we’ve been introduced to: Striker, Crimson and Stella.* A common thread among all of these is that they are actually at about the same level of power/authority/prominence as the member of our main characters they serve as a villain to.

Striker and Crimson are imps just like Blitzo and Moxxie respectively, while Stella (and Andrealphus) are fellow Goetia nobility just like Stolas.

For all that people both in and out of universe have talked up the ‘power imbalance’ in Hell, it seems that the main villain or antagonist that each of our main characters must grapple with is NOT someone of much greater power or authority, but rather someone much more on their level. Again, Striker to Blitzo (plus Moxxie and Millie), Crimson to Moxxie (plus Millie and Blitzo) and Stella to Stolas.

By the way, I think if we want to theorize on a potential ‘Main/True’, ‘Big Bad’ villain for the story and Blitzo’s personal arc (aside from himself, obviously), I think we can ALL agree that the best candidate is his father, Cash.

Which is why Mammon feels rather out of place as some prominent villain or antagonist for our main cast. Sure, he probably has some personal connection to Fizzerolli, but he’s still one of THE top dogs of Hell. Going by the trend we’ve seen thus far, the only character Mammon could possibly serve as an antagonist for is Asmodeaus (a fellow Sin), but frankly I would NOT call Ozzie that prominent of a character in this show that he gets some personal antagonist.

Helluva Boss feels like a story where the main villains faced by our protagonists are NOT these big, powerful beings far above them in power, status and authority. But rather people far closer to them. People who come from very similar walks of life, or even outright family.

And Mammon really is the former of these far more than he is the latter.

*As an aside, I’m not counting Fizzerolli, Verosika or Barbie Wire in this group, as while they may have acted in an antagonistic fashion, it’s clear that they were harmed MUCH more by Blitzo than they may have harmed him. Hence they more represent Blitzo’s own personal issues that he needs to deal with.

oh my god im so sorry i just read your analysis and i have to ask; have you got any theories on striker's past? ever since s2e6 a common one has been that he was once in a relationship with a royal, and exactly like how fizzarozzie are a bright, hopeful reflection of what stoliz could be, striker's past relationship could serve to show how rotten, discriminatory or fetishistic a relationship between a low rank demon and a royal could be..... an angle i'd wholeheartedly welcome!!

I'm glad you liked my analysis, to answer your question, I'm not dedicated to any given theory about Striker's past, though there are 2 that I keep coming back to from time to time.

One is that his family was displaced from their rural home and that this directly lead to their premature deaths, the main evidence is that his family is the most likely thing for him to be referring to when talking about having things taken away, maybe he even has some slight sympathy/empathy for Stella if he was particularly close with his own mother.

The other one, which has some overlap with the first, is that one of his parents, likely his dad, is a noble and Striker being his illegitimate child lead to him abandoning Striker's mother to protect his image and publicly denouncing her if she spoke out about it, maybe even eventually having her "taken care of". I've seen an extreme version of this propose his father is Leviathan, hence why the show is taking it's time to address Envy as a ring. Some evidence is that he's literally green-eyed (a term for being jealous/envious) and his serpent features, though I don't really buy this version of the theory.

I also don't really buy the "royal ex" theory, I see where it's coming from but I just don't see it being right. There's better things to parallel stolitz with.

I Just Saw The Mammon Teaser And I Want To Say 2 Things. I Love His Design And Rat Bastard Energy But

I just saw the Mammon teaser and I want to say 2 things. I love his design and rat bastard energy but also I think this gif is definitely taken from a flashback of some sort because of the grainy filter over the clip, maybe Blitz is watching a recording of a performance at Mammon's theatre? Maybe one he made himself?

Also WHAT DO YOU MEAN it might come out for Halloween, that would make this another less than 2 month gap between season 2 episodes, at this rate we might even get episode eight be the end of the year.

I think that Mammon's Magnificent Musical is going to have three main segments, kind of like The Circus, just, hopefully better.

The first is a flashback from Blitz's pov with him and Fizz at Mam's concert before the accident. This might be partially seen through a recording, hence the grainy effect in the teaser.

After that we get a second flashback from Fizzarolli's pov with him working for Mammon, getting his new limbs and meeting Ozzie. This might also involve some kind of recording.

And the last segment will completely be in the present, possibly from Mammon's pov, to set up his involvement in the show going forward.

We'll probably see more and more of Mammon's real character with every segment, going from his stage persona, to the callous executive he is towards Fizz backstage, to the ruthless monster and probably mob boss he is in private showing why he'll be a threat.

I just had a thought, what if the Robofizz-es are more competent in a fight than the real Fizz is because they actually have some implanted memories from Mammon (possibly including from during the rebellion from Heaven) making them more ruthless and dangerous.

Yall The Juxtaposition Of Murder Robot If Destruction Robofizz And Sad Twink Who Cant Function Near Danger

Y’all the juxtaposition of murder robot if destruction Robofizz and Sad twink who can’t function near danger Fizzarolli has me squeeming

Sinsmas prediction (I'm really hoping this one is right!)

Something I've seen a lot of people talk about is that fact that Blitz fixing his relationship with Fizz and Stolas now being able to give Blitz a crystal means that they'll have less reasons to see each other and thus have a harder time working through the issues between them.

But I think this chain of accidental self sabotage will carry over to Stolas, I think The Full Moon, Apology Tour and possibly Mastermind might help rebuild the trust between Blitz and Stolas, but at an unseen cost.

And now we finally come to the actual season finale prediction I promised. I believe Sinsmas will show Stolas planning to spend the (un)holiday with Via only for her to not show up and him thinking Stella and Andrealphus are behind it. The twist being is that she herself chose not to spend time with him since he basically focused his entire life for a while around his boy toy and virtually abandoned her. The ending will leave Stolas to wallow in the consequences of his shortsighted actions as Octavia spends Sinsmas with her mother and uncle. This will set her up as a central character in season 3.

Cash's Past and Future

Cash's Past And Future

Recently more and more people have been theorizing on what happened to Pa Buckzo after the fire but I haven't encountered anyone who shares my theory, but before we get to it, CONTEXT!

While Mammon's involvement and even awareness is still up in the air, we can safely say that Cash knowingly acted as one of, and likely THE main agent that drove Blitz and Fizz apart after the accident. This naturally raises the question of why? The answer is obviously money, this is Cash Buckzo were talking about, but HOW would he make money off of it? The answer is right under our noses, specifically in Oops:

Cash's Past And Future

The Clown Pageant!

I believe Fizzarolli participated in one shortly before the fire which attracted Mam's attention, but not enough for him to seek Fizz out immediately. When he eventually does he finds the rising star horribly disfigured and the circus he worked for destroyed, with it's owner in an absolute shitfit, he then offers Cash the chance to seek out new entertainment ventures without his unwanted family, all for the low-low price of his (effectively) adopted son's agency.

After all this, Cash, likely under a false identity to avoid being recognized by former acquaintances, enjoys a fairly comfortable life somewhere in Greed, possibly even occasionally working directly with Mammon himself.

The reveal of this in the series proper would come with Blitz coming face to face with Mammon, only to run into him mid conversation with his dead beat father, chaos and emotional damage ensue.

So, yeah, I think Cash will actually be a more substantial villain than most fans currently think, even if he doesn't end up with much actual screen time.

New HB teaser!

So we finally got the second teaser for the midseason special, here's the link. To me, this reads as the first time Fizz and Ozzie really bond after Fizz starts working for Mammon.

I know some people have other predictions for the episode, but at least for me, there doesn't seem to be a way for this episode to not explore Fizz's life between the fire and the present.

All that actually brings me to a new theory: Maybe the titular musical is a dramatized version of Fizz's career starring Mam and Fizz as themselves and the new teaser could be Fizz remembering his encounter with the real Ozzie while reenacting it on stage with a stand-in. This could be a parallel to Blitz having a flashback on the sitcom set in Seeing Stars.

On a side note, line recording for season 3 has started and we've been told the following things: Wally is confirmed to have a speaking role in season 3, the voice of Perrito from Puss in Boots 2 joins the cast, and it seems there will be a court case of some kind.

It just occurred to me that Fizz may not be ABLE to quit. Allow me to explain.

It Just Occurred To Me That Fizz May Not Be ABLE To Quit. Allow Me To Explain.

In Oops, literally one episode ago, we learned that a business deal and/or contract made with a sin is, and I quote; "everlastingly binding". The context in which Stolas says this makes it clear that even the sin in question can't back out of the deal.

It Just Occurred To Me That Fizz May Not Be ABLE To Quit. Allow Me To Explain.

Given that Mammon almost certainly made Fizzarolli sign some sort of contract after, or even by winning the clown pageant for the first time, there's a good chance that even if Mammon wanted too, there would be no way for him and Fizz to get out of their business arrangement.

It Just Occurred To Me That Fizz May Not Be ABLE To Quit. Allow Me To Explain.

I haven't seen anyone else point this out but I think this is the exact reason Mammon seemed so sure he'd get the last laugh before making his exit.

Why Ozzie is really the weakest sin

Why Ozzie Is Really The Weakest Sin

Ever since I watch Mammon's Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special I've felt pretty certain in my idea as to what makes Asmodeus the weakest Sin. Put simply, lust is the most narrowly defined sin.

All the other sins have either multiple motives to drive someone to commit them or a very wide variety of ways in which someone can commit them. This is reflected in each ring we've seen having a role in Hell as a whole:

Pride: Housing sinners

Wrath: Food production and possibly weapons manufacturing

Gluttony: The hellhound pounds and a larger focus on entertainment venues than other rings

Greed: General industry, manufacture of most frequently used goods.

Lust: Adult entertainment

Envy: N/A

Sloth: Medicine, pharmacy and tourism (according to the Lust ring newspaper in Oops)

You'll notice that the most narrow and specialized ring is Lust. If the Sins themselves feed on people committing their sins ( as evidenced by Bee comments about making honey and tasting her guests vibes). The limited scope and variety of lust would leave Ozzie "malnourished" in relation to the others. Him having more limited and simple powers when compared to Bee and Mam makes a lot more sense with this in mind.

What do u mean not the best picture of satan

Sorry for the late answer. What I meant was that Wrath seems to be the most chaotic and naturally harsh ring, let's not forget the scene in Western Energy where a gang jump Moxxie for wearing the same hat as their leader. If the rings are a reflection of their Sins, that implies Satan will likely be closer to Mammon than Asmodeus or Beelzebub.

Is it me, or is this guy insanely Alastor-coded?

Is It Me, Or Is This Guy Insanely Alastor-coded?
Is It Me, Or Is This Guy Insanely Alastor-coded?

So this is apparenty a new character from Helluva Boss. He appears in the trailer for a few shots and they are uncanny and very cool!

There is also the fact that he seems to fade into something resembling fins and slightly see-through. Similar to some of the helborn from Envy we've seen.

Guessing this is from the episode "Ghostfuckers". All the scenes that were seemingly from this episode had possession/demonic/ghost(duh) vibes. So either this guy is a human that is being posessed, a Sinner or actually a hellborn from Envy... BUT why would he hire the IMP crew if he himself is responsible? ->I think it is an entity that just posesses this guy as a last resort before the crew can "ghostbuster" his ass into a proton pack.

I also LOVE the general classic "DEMON" aesthetic when they make the lights flicker while walking down a hallway. That's such cool imagery.

Is It Me, Or Is This Guy Insanely Alastor-coded?

Thinking about how Mammon is now apparently ace.

It still looks like he felt the need to "perform" in public.

Thinking About How Mammon Is Now Apparently Ace.
Thinking About How Mammon Is Now Apparently Ace.

It's the classic "manly man surrounded by sexy arm candy" pose.

I wonder why. It's his show, his turf and Ozzie wasn't around so there wasn't any peer pressure going on. Did he maybe think it would hurt his image (and thus his money) if he didn't at least appear with some sexualised entourage?

Maybe it was also just a case of flaunting power. Showing how powerful he is by simply having living humanoid-shaped furniture around.

Just some random ramblings.

BEE-LZEBUB RANT + THEORIES + HEADCANNONS

BEE-LZEBUB RANT + THEORIES + HEADCANNONS

Rant

I hate how people hate her the same way they do for Stolas— going off what they misunderstand by seeing and believing. Like how her design is not accurate to how the original is described, which a lot of media does this with many mythical creatures and deities. Which Vivziepop has addressed the issue and even explaining why she had to improvise since most of how they're described is time consuming to draw

Headcannons :)

• Bee would check in with every single guest she invites to make sure they're having a fun time

• Possibly has a whole other section/room where Introverts and/or people with sensory issues can have their fun in a little party so it's not overwhelming and scary

• Possibly does gossip to other demons/sinners about the people they hate just so they can have fun even if she does or doesn't agree with it but doesn't talk bad about others naturally by her own

Theories(NOT CANNON JUST MY THOUGHTS)

So ever since I saw Loona seemingly being aggressive / showing discomfort in the party and Bee was trying to help her out I tried to figure out why she could be like that besides her trauma causing her to have trust issues around others naturally. I started to notice that other hounds were different breeds of dogs such as poodles, cocker spaniels, pugs etc. My theory is that Loona is a wolfdog which naturally they are aggressive to others even if they are just friendly, wolfdogs have been mostly known for being more aggressive than regular wolves, which can explain why Vortex is more bubbly personality with Loona since he's a wolf and he understands how to follow orders from higher-ups like a normal wolf pact does. But there's a big possibly Loona has severe trust issues and severe social anxiety which I relate to, since people are scary and never can trust them so it's just that and not by the breed of dog.

I also found how Bee seems to show similar behaviors to people I see who have Autism and ADHD, relating to her on things such as taking things the wrong way just by the attitude if someone but immediately regretting it once I start to realize they didn't mean it and I snap at them for no reason. Which she has done with Loona by accident which I'm glad she realized she didn't mean it. I also can see how she's aware of others without people realizing it similar to how ADHD people feel which neurotypical people don't realize themselves til the ADHD person points it out to them so where sometimes it can be where they're hyper and full of energy but they can have opposite behavior to that, which Bee knew Blitzø was having troubles without Blitzø expressing it or noticing it quicker than Loona could— but loona is living and working with him so she has a point in that argument with Bee before she said something in a certain tone which set off Bee by accident. I do have Autism Spectrum Disorder so again this could be one of my autistic traits and this not being real and something my mind tries to relate in order for me to escape reality into my fictional world where I even go down before I can start overthinking and overstimulating myself

Edit-accidentally put suffers from which sounded bad but didn't mean it that way I apologize

⚠️HELLUVA BOSS EPISODE 8 SEASON 1 THEORY⚠️

This isn't canon! It's a theory of mine!!!

.

.

.

Okay so most of us saw the new episode of Helluva Boss right? We saw Beelzebub herself in the new episode. There are people who are surprised about her not being mean like Asmodeus(Ozzie) and some were just not expecting it.So my theory is that Beelzebub is somehow neutral but she can't control herself sometimes.Like in here we see her getting bigger when Loona tried defending Blitzø

HELLUVA BOSS EPISODE 8 SEASON 1 THEORY

Then Loona looks over to Tex and she surprised that he doesn't say something. In episode 3 of season 1,Tex seems like the tough guy you don't wanna mess with but this makes me think.Does he act tough to everyone else except Beelzebub cuz he knows what she's capable of? Due to her being one of the rulers of hell? Or did Beelzebub do something to Tex,which makes him act like that when Beelzebub gets angry?

HELLUVA BOSS EPISODE 8 SEASON 1 THEORY

Let's not forget that Tex is also missing his eye/has a scar on his eye?It might also have been from an accident Tex had before being in a relationship with Bee

Again this is all a theory! I feel like Tex cares about Bee but he's concerned about her when she gets angry
