Michael Sheen Aquarius David Tennant Aries Both are masculine signs that value logic, action and doing. Aquarius is an air sign, while Aries is a fire sign, and the two signs can bring out the best in each other. Aquarius' forward-thinking pairs well with Aries' dynamic energy, creating a potent combination of creativity and action.

"I like my Yang, but I like it better when your Yin is next to it." --Michael Sheen, Good Omens 2 press interview.
Fourth day of Spectember! This time, from the Indo-Pacific clamoral reefs, the Divine Seachlid (Guranmamare divinus).

Seachlids is the name attributed to a variety of cichlid clades that have independently adapted for life in the ocean, and that have established themselves specially as key components of reefs and other tropical marine ecosystems. One of these groups Titanogynichthyinae, has evolved a particularly odd characteristic, with females being often much larger than males, and protecting swarms of its young alongside one or multiple of its mates. They are usually key in maintaining a reef's health, as they maintain shells near their nesting areas clean and protected from predators, allowing both bigger and smaller clamorals to survive.
But no species takes its dimorphism as far as the largest species of this group, the Divine Seachlid. The females of this species can achieve lengths of 180cm long and weigh up to 150kg, while the males are less than a third this size, reaching only up to 50cm long. They are monogamous, guarding their young and hunting in pairs, like other single mate species in this group. However, since the females often live much longer than males, one female will usually have multiple monogamous partners in one lifetime. Due to their size, they are a keystone species of the reefs they inhabit, feeding on large mollusks, echinoderms and even fish that could cause serious harm if they overpopulated.
I know I've talked about this before, but today as I'm very tired, I've decided to list some interesting fun facts about H. H. Holmes
And these aren't just any kind of fun facts
These are corrections of things people commonly believe that aren't write
H. H. Holmes did not kill in the hundreds, that statistic comes from a, if I remember correctly, pulp fiction book published in the 1940's. While it's true we don't have an exact victim list, so it's technically possible he did kill that many, Holmes himself only every admitted to killing twenty something people (a number that he confessed to killing weren't even dead), and the cops only him on like nine.
H. H. Holmes was not a serial killer, as a to be a serial killer your victims must be random. The people Holmes is believed to have killed were all people getting to close to his more nefarious doings, or people causing too much trouble for him.
H. H. Holmes was not in any way particularly smart, in fact I'd say he's an idiot. He was constant in trouble with courts, only barely graduated, conned like a fool, and couldn't stop himself from digging a bigger and bigger hole for himself. The only reason he got away with things because people were negligent or complacent or just too kind.
H. H. Holmes did in fact dig up bodies, but this wasn't actually that weird. Not really a disapproval, just adding some context cause a lot of people use that as proof of how evil or sick he was, when it's actually one of the more normal things about him. Holmes had a great interest in medical practice and medicine, and while he was not in any way especially good at it, more getting into it for his conns, it was common practice of the time for doctors and people studying to be a doctor to grave rob. It was how you learned about the human body. Holmes was no different in that regard then many other doctors of the time, even his friend and mentor, who's name escapes me.
And to wrap it up cause I'm quite tired, H. H. Holmes, as far as we know, did not suffer from antisocial personality disorder (he wasn't a psychopath). A lot of people who don't know much about the subject seem to think he does, and maybe I'm not one to disprove them cause at the moment I've only taken a Psy 101 class, but from my understanding it just isn't true. I find it incredibly sad and wrong the way ASPD is just attached to killers by mass community without any thought. You don't need to call Homes a psychopath cause you don't like him and he was evil. You can just call him a bastard and murderous conman
sorry for any things I may have gotten wrong about H. H. Holmes or ASPD, it's been awhile sense I've learned about ether
also one more fun fact, his real name was Herman Mudgett
if you'd like to know more about Mudgett, shoot me an ask, I'll fill you in on how I learned about him(hint, for part of it you need a library card)
albatrosses will wipe the floor with any species of bird you choose to compare them to. they’re the Most, or at least Extremely, by almost every metric
150 years ago, a boy was born to my great-great grandmother. And that was the last time that happened anywhere on my maternal line until my son was born in 2016. This is a story about intersex people.
For 150 years, the women of my family kept having daughters, who either also had daughters, or they were oddly unable to have children. Strange quirk, we assumed. No boys.
In the late 1970s, my mother’s sister had a daughter with Down Syndrome. Genetic testing was done, and it was discovered that although she looked female, she actually possessed the male XY chromosome combination. Her sister was born three years later. And because of that genetic concern, her genes were checked. And she possessed … the XY chromosomes. A third daughter, born a few years later, possessed the usual XX.
Keeping in the tradition, my mother had two daughters. Because of our cousins’ genetic conditions, my sister and I were both checked. Both of us appeared typically XX. And so for more than thirty years, it was dismissed as a quirk, and no one said the word intersex because that wasn’t a thing in 1980.
In 2014 I had a son, breaking the chain of girls. It was an interesting story! I then had two daughters, and didn’t bother to do any genetic checking.
And then in 2020 my sister became pregnant. Early genetic testing said boy, XY. Twenty week anatomy scan said girl. Definitely 100% girl. Uhhh?! As expected, she*** was born genetically male, possessing only male gonads in the form of undescended testes, but female external genitalia.
It was Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, a genetic mutation carried on the X chromosome. See, all bodies start female. Then, when the hormonal influence of the Y chromosome kicks in, instructions on the X are supposed to detect the testosterone and create male genitalia. Except a person with AIS is non-reactive to testosterone, and the body stays, at least superficially, female. Genetic check would say boy. Presence of testes says boy. Pants check says girl. Making the question of sex (sex. Gender is something else, ok?) distinctly complicated.
If someone has a mother who is a carrier of AIS, there are 4 possibilities. Unaffected XY, and so genetically and structurally male. Affected XY, and so intersex. Affected XX, and so a female carrier. Unaffected XX female and entirely unaffected.
My grandmother was a carrier. My aunt and mother are carriers. My sister is a carrier. When my niece was born, my single non-intersex cousin and I did genetic testing. And we are both carriers as well. My son is an unaffected XY male. My niece is affected XY intersex. Both my cousin and I also have 2 daughters each. And, because it is medically and psychologically relevant, we had them tested. All XX.****
And I was ready to check one more thing: are my daughters carriers? There is a 50/50 chance. And then I stopped, because they are preschoolers, and that is their reproductive decision. They know three intersex people. And if they care, someday they can check their genes and the odds that my grandchildren will be intersex. The intersex people they know will, I hope, be able to talk to them about the beauty of their lives as one of the wonderful variations of humanity.

Spanish broom, rush broom, or weaver's broom (lat. Spartium junceum).
A fast-growing shrub. The flowers are used to produce essential oil. Long stems are used to produce strong fiber, from which coarse fabrics, fishing nets and ropes are made.
The whole plant is poisonous, but its seeds are especially dangerous, be careful and take care of yourself.
Spartium junceum).

Wall barley or false barley (lat. Hordeum murinum).
An annual, grassy herbaceous plant, sometimes used by gardeners to decorate the garden.
The young spikelets are harmless and cute. However, when they dry out, they turn into sharp spikes that easily crumble and get stuck in animal fur. As the animal moves, they make rotational movements, moving towards the skin. Since the tip of the ear is sharp, it is able to pierce the skin and enter under it. In such a case, you should contact a veterinarian.
The maturation of mouse barley falls in June, be careful and take care of your pets🧡
Hordeum murinum).

Atlas weeping cedar (lat. Cédrus atlántica).
The coniferous tree is native to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and Algeria. It can live up to 800 years.
This post presents a decorative variety with a weeping crown, like a willow with its falling shoots. Gardeners get it only by grafting on ordinary Atlas cedar.
Interestingly, drops of resin collect on its needles. This is probably how it handles the weather conditions.🌱
Cédrus atlántica).

Violet webcap or violet cort (lat. Cortinárius violáceus). It's an edible mushroom, but very rare, so I recommend not picking it and giving it the opportunity to increase its population.
This fungus is usually found in Europe, as well as in Russia. It can be found in mixed forests. It does not like open spaces and usually grows in swampy areas. Most often, you can find one or more mushrooms, much less often you can find an entire colony. He likes the area under coniferous trees, such as spruce and moss beds, in which he can easily hide from prying eyes🌱
Cortinárius violáceus).

Today I felt moved by the great mullein, or common mullein (lat. Verbáscum thápsus)🤗 It's all the fault of these fluffy leaves-ears🙂
This plant is found on dry rocky slopes, in meadows, in steppes, along roadsides, or in thickets of shrubs. Most often, the plant is found on poor soils with a disturbed structure. It is also taken into the garden composition by landscape designers due to its interesting appearance, long flowering, attracting bees, and unpretentiousness. Also, the plant doesn't clog its neighbors.

RADICAL FUN FACTS WITH KAT
The cockney accent exists because way back then, the brittish lower class wanted to talk in a way that would ensure the cops would not know what they were talking about. Even more of a fun fact is that i am fairly certain that self censorship is the cockney accent of the internet. Stuff like "unalive" or "self yeet" are words that are there not to protect other people (we all know what you are referring to when you say "f%ck" ) but rather to stop the "no fun allowed" robots from harassing us and getting us banned. fun facts.
Russian really does use this thing, or perhaps doesn't use. Вы прекрасны is a perfect example ;)
why do black people use you in the wrong context? such is "you ugly" instead of "you're ugly" I know u guys can differentiate, it's a nuisance
you a bitch
