Favourite non animated Bsd moment is during the Guild arc when Atsushi's being chased through the streets while Mark Twain is trying to shoot him.
Atsushi rushes over to save a baby from falling into a crevice and in a panic hands the baby to a very confused Tachihara.
Tachihara yells at Atsushi and than pauses to tell said crying baby that no I'm not yelling at you.
Gin and Hirotsu walk over wondering how Tachihara's getting on with the battle. They both see the baby and Gin writes "congratulations" on the ground with her sword.
Tachihara is just like really? You think I look like some proud dad with his new born?!
Than Higuchi shows up and asks if she should take a photo, so apparently she also thought Tachihara had a child???
The baby is returned to its mother by presumably Higuchi since she's talking to her in the corner.
Meanwhile Hirotsu, Gin and Tachihara are all sat on the floor hanging there heads while Chuuya scolds them for saving the baby.

Also bold words from Chuuya considering in Bsd Wan (chapter 14) he saw an old lady struggling to carry something and ended up helping her with his ability.
After failing to convince himself not too because he's a Port Mafia executive... And than Atsushi saw him said hey you're pretty nice and Chuuya was like no no you're misreading the whole thing!
Threatens Atsushi not to tell anyone especially Dazai... And than the old lady turned out to be Dazai in disguise.
Man Atsushi really do be showing how kind Port Mafia members can be.

The writer in me ADORES Brian's unique song writing style. How I see it, he writes so that, if you've been through some shit, you will know exactly what he's talking about. If you haven't, it's gibberish to you. Seven broken people who have been through seven different types of shit can listen to the same TFB song and relate in seven different ways; yet none of them are wrong. Maybe he wrote each of his songs about s singular, specific event and feeling that we're suppose to decode, or maybe they really are just gibberish... but to us, each song has a multitude of complex and heart mending meanings.
In layman's terms, the Front Bottoms fanbase is like a secret society where only traumatized people have the passcodes to entry and neurotypicals think we're nuts.

What is thoughtless for you is a war for me. I may never understand why your battle is your own- hell, you may not comprehend it yourself! But what's amazing is God intimately knows each and every struggle you have and will ever face. Jesus is the gateway to eternal, pure empathy for the corrupted human heart.
He knows it's difficult for you...

I didn't know it was a thing until yesterday honestly, but happy BPD Awareness Month to my fellow borderlines on Tumblr! You guys make me feel seen and understood in a way that I rarely (if ever) do.

Everyone is speaking out of both sides of their mouth and everywhere I look there is death...
A tip for those still in highschool:
Don't spend the highlights of your highschool experience with people that will dampen those memories. Please select the people in your life carefully, more so than I did, so that you can look back on those memories and smile. Differentiate who stuck with you through the hard times, who values your honesty, who tells you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear, who brings you closer to Christ, who is loyal to you no matter what, who never talks shit about you, who believes in self improvement, who sees how much you care and appreciates you for it, who has their priorities straight, who reminds you what you're worth even when you forget... and who is all talk.
Coming from someone who is deathly afraid of being alone, it is always better to be on your own than to be surrounded by liars and manipulators and fake "I love you"s.
Because you are who you hang out with. Everything you hate about them is what you will become. And even after you come to your senses, discover your worth and emerge from the waves of half truths you were trapped under, because of the time already spent with them, their stench will remain.
And it will drive you mad.
Pray for discernment, my friends. There are few wounds in life as painful as betrayal.
