Some of yall hate Zoey bc of Charpim, but why do I see her as a lesbian??

I don't think we talk enough about Edwin's reaction to Charles beating the Night Nurse. Because he's scared, he is worried and he is crying. But he is not scared of Charles at all, I think he is scared to lose him. Just in that episode, he had (unwillingly) told the Cat King that he helped other ghosts so he can defend his own case if Death ever came to take him to Hell again. He also says he is not proud about it, that it is selfish.

Charles would have gone to Heaven if he hadn't decided to stay with him. Edwin is sure. But, after what happened with the Night Nurse, he can't be sure anymore. He knows Charles, he knows he is a good man and he doesn't deserve to go to Hell. But he also knows Charles well enough to know he'll feel guilty. And that is how Hell gets you. Guilt drags to down.

I don't think Edwin was walking on eggshells around Charles as Crystal said. I think it just hurt him to see him, to face him, knowing that he may have selfishly made Charles lose his oportunity to go to pradise. Because he had stayed for him. Because he had been protecting him.

Lyney reminds me of Tsukasa(proseka) so much honestly. He has that goofyness and "I'm a star!" behaviour

im agender and personally i've never really run into any trans person have an issue with ftm/mtf?????? and im a part of this 'younger crowd' i just think the original commenter is either chronically online or trolling. I'm not claiming to know for sure but its a bit weird? also let trans people identify with their own language please its none of your business what a person chooses to identify with.

don't use "ftm" it's outdated and offensive. it implies that the trans person was their agab, which we never were. i was always a boy, never a girl who became a boy.

i WAS a girl. i IDed as a girl early in my life. i recognized myself as a girl, called myself a girl, lived as a girl, and was a girl. who then IDed as a man. hence, F t M.

sorry not sorry if this comes off as needlessly hostile, but i've been getting a lot of shit from a lot of teenage trans kids about the language i use to describe my own goddamn experience, and i'm growing real fuckin weary of it.

i have elder trans friends who call themselves transsexuals and transvestites and trannies. are you going to seriously go to a 60-year-old trans person who survived the reagan years and tell her she's not allowed to use certain language to describe herself because it might offend the delicate sensibilities of some teenager on the internet?

do yourself a favor and log off, find some real-life trans people who are over the age of 20 or 25, and spend time talking to them instead of getting all holier-than-thou at random strangers on tumblr.

Pure ramble from a tired idiot

Tales From the SMP is tonight! (and it’s at 11 PM for me so hopefully I won’t miss it) So I kinda just want to ramble about what I think about it an what we’ve been told.

So! 

we know from what Karl has said that “The Pit” takes place around the same time "The Lost City of Mizu" and with the whole gladiator pit vibe maybe we’re gonna see Techno’s descendent or possible Techno himself (since let’s be honest, with the whole “Technoblade never dies” thing as well as the fact we haven’t actually seen him die, it’s not out the realm of possibility.)

Also since Phil will be in this and he confirmed his character has been around for a long time (his characters age is in the hundreds) maybe if Phil is playing his character and Phil isn’t just playing a different character, there could be an interaction between him and Karl, where Phil points out Karl shouldn’t be there (because “The Pit” takes place around the same time as "The Lost City of Mizu" which takes place quite a bit of time after the SMP since in "The Lost City of Mizu" it’s confirmed everyone is pretty much gone.) 

If that does happen Phil could maybe reveal some lore that we have yet to see! Maybe the lore could be that a character dies or something else. I really doubt this would be a thing though since it would be a little too convenient 

(EDIT: Also yes it does contradict what I said in my earlier post about Techno being dead and having a descendent but, that was just a random thought post so it’s fine!)

From the video in a tweet he made yesterday I think this is 100% going to be a darker/sadder story since if we look at back Karl library there is only one item frame left (I’m sure Karl may have more planned but still, kinda makes me nervous) and the whole vibe of the mini trailer just feels a lit more sad/dark.

Please keep in mind that these are just my thoughts! I wrote this down as I thought about it so it is literally just a ramble. If you don’t agree with it and think I sound like a crazy person (I mean... I am but still.) that’s okay, I can’t cater to everyone. The art professor who first met you during the first introduction of the course on the first day. All new students look the same in his eyes. Except for you who stand out so much. Not sweetening your voice during the introduction. What's your name again, dear? Oh don't worry he doesn't really care about the bags under your eyes. You look good just the way you are.

The art professor who noticed how the students complained about how annoying his first assignment was. What? It's for your own good. So that your hands are not stiff, making lines without the help of a ruler. It's a good start to become an artist. (Bro you're serious? 🤨) Even you secretly struggle by making full lines on A3 paper. How adorable.

The art professor who praised your line results even though he said it would be better if the lines were sharper. He could see your face fall, frowning from the corner of his eyes. Oh, stop whining. He couldn't stand to see it. So adorable.

The art professor continued to stare at the results of your constructive drawing in his hand. Although there were some black marks, he could feel the hard work of your dull hands, he could barely feel the texture of your hands on the slightly wrinkled paper. You still tried to be gentle with the paper. Your eye bags were also very visible. Oh, he shouldn't have bothered you with this assignment.

The art professor gave you an exception to sleep in his class because you didn't get enough sleep and had trouble sleeping. He didn't care that students labeled him as favoritism if it meant he could continue to admire you while you sleeping.

The art professor who put snacks with a note on your desk after his lecture is over. Don't worry about how he knows your favorite snack. He doesn't mind even though it's expensive.

The art professor who can't stop glancing at you every now and then whenever he explains on the board. Never mind some students start nodding their heads to hold back their sleepiness and laziness in the middle of his explanation. His eyes only on you.

The art professor who started imagining your hand in his during his free time. He couldn't mind your hand in another part of his body. (Bro should go to the therapy. But x reader is allot more cheaper and free.) Never mind the strange lyrics of other professors in their office seeing his strange movements. Addoring is more like obsession, then even scarier. Let's just say from the eyes down to -heart- desire. Don't worry, it's just a little addoration towards his cute little student.♡

I 100% agree with everything in this post. I would also like to add that I love some ideas for other backrooms very similar in concept but still holding the earie mad by man but not meant for man concept.

I saw some that looked kind of like kiddie play rooms so ball pits and cushions which is an awesome idea walking, crawling and moving through those childish obstacles was always exhausting so having to go though more and more corridors designed just like that would eminate the same creepy feeling that the whole backrooms concept creates.

I don't like any shadowy figures, or monsters or any sorts of creatures in the backrooms it ruins the original concept. The only noise I can really accept is maybe people talking far away but none of the voices sound real and none of the words are actual words just human noise, like what you hear at Waterparks.

Still can’t get over the fact that The Backrooms made liminal horror “mainstream” while also completely misrepresenting the genre, ditching the subtle, melancholic sense of unease for a bloated SCP clone with edgy shadow monsters.

I personally find this to be a much better take on a similar premise:

No jumpscares. No monsters.  Just an eerie, dreamlike sense of being lost in a completely desolate, sprawling brutalist hellscape.

There’s something so unnerving about architecture that has the aesthetic of being man-made, while also realizing that nothing about these buildings would be of any practical human use.

gotta get this off my chest. tbh i see poly fl, lasko, and gavin possibly being canon in the future. this moment has lowkey been on my mind since i first heard it:

-in the audio where lasko helps fl prepare for the games and they hug, lasko begins to say something after fl presumably thanks him for complimenting their skills. they hug him and he says “it’s true. you’re—” but it cut off by the ring telling them it’s time to get ready.

now that i’ve finally finished hofas my new headcanon is that after bryce left with truth-teller azriel panicked and reached out to gwyn because he knows merrill has research on other worlds and gwyn works with her, because he wants to go after bryce and gwyn is immediately like ‘i will help you’ no hesitation, and they start searching for ways to get truth-teller back, and stay up all night researching how they can go after bryce

but then bryce comes back, truth-teller is back, and azriel is like ‘wait wth i really liked spending time with her’ and he continues going to the library and makes up some lame ass excuse as to why they have to continue their research because he really enjoyed their late nights in the library, just the two of them and ofc gwyn sees through him but obviously agrees and they end up not doing any research, instead just spending time together!!!

Merlin is magic and Arthur is made of magic. Merlin is rhe most powerful sorcerer to have walked the Earth. He IS magic which means he can control and command all forms of magic. And he can yeah all apart from Arthur's. Now where technically is Arthur's magic? His soul I'm presuming...

So what if he had to die so his soul could unite with that of Emrys?? Unite the soul of magic

I love how in older movies, they are very worried about whether or not the viewer realizes the movie has ended. Like everyone will ride into the sunset, or walk out of the courtroom after winning a case, and the producers are like, "Do you think it's too subtle? Do you think they realize it's over?" So just to be safe, in big, fancy letters, they write, "The End" to ensure everyone knows the movie is over. Did they really think we were just gonna stare at a black screen and wonder when the "intermission" will end? lol

Do you ever think that the planets just look at all the stuff that is happening on earth and go, "Damn the fuck happened to you?"

Some would say that “you need to love yourself first before someone else can love you”. I disagree. I think people who love you can show you how to love yourself. You have to believe them when they say that they love your dark brown eyes, so dark that they can lose themselves in them. You have to believe them when they say that you’re one of the funniest people they know. You have to believe them when they tell you that you have a kind heart, that you are honest to a fault.

That’s the problem right? Believing them. Because they don’t know you like you know you. And you know all the ugly parts, the ones they can’t see.

I think when someone loves you - loves the good and the messy - when they love you unconditionally, that love can fill you to the brim. When you can trust that they see you, the raw real you and love you in spite of it all, because of it all…it’s like holding up a mirror so you can love yourself too. So you can see yourself the way they see you.

I think the people who stay in our lives, who weather the storms even when we ourselves are the storms - look to them to see where the light is in you. Because it is there.

I’ve started to really look at myself…to really love myself. To appreciate my body: it’s a temple where parts of me have died only to be reborn again. To appreciate my mind: it moves at the speed of light and has a charm impossible not to love.

I’m still early on but I’m excited to see where I go.

I’m grateful to my greater She. I remember that She is within me, guiding me. She is the one uncovering my eyes to see the light.

With that, feeling morose and pessimistic and apathetic and just stuck. But I still have so much to be thankful for.

The self awareness & faith I have these days (in the greater plan) is priceless to me.

Each day a little better and brighter. :)

but i think one thing american schools ( not sure if other school systems did this, feel free to add ), specifically elementary schools did nicely, was how valentine’s day was done

there wasn’t just one person you’d bring something for; everyone would bring in little cards with cheesy lines and candy for their friends, classmates, teachers

and they could all say ‘i love you’ if you really wanted, because love just didn’t have to be this huge romantic dedication

sometimes you could just love your desk mate who shares their crayons with you in the most wholesome way a first grader could muster

or your favorite music teacher who’s class you always looked forward to

and it was never mandatory, either, just an optional little thing if you wanted to show people how you care
