forced submission is sooo yummy because. yeah. i love to act up. i love to puff up my chest and mock you for thinking you can go around giving orders. i love to cock my head and pick a fight, putting on my stupid little act just because i can. i love knowing that the more i push and prod, the more i brat and cause a scene, the more i argue and undermine your “authority”: the more you’ll want to strip every ounce of disobedience from me by force. what’s even better is—depending on the day, the buildup of it all, how much bite i have left in me—i might hold out long enough for whatever stupid punishment you’ve thought up to simply not work. and wouldn’t that just piss you the fuck off? it’s amazing what spite can do to the human psyche, and i am full of it. i want to watch the annoyance in your eyes turn feral, your hits to fall harder, your words to cut deeper. i want to feel the defiance drain from me bit by bit until i’m reduced to nothing but a whimpering, pitiful mess of tears and bruises and blood. i want to beg forgiveness—to mean it. i don’t want to spit out faux apologies for the sake of appeasing you; i want to plead and shake, sob out in pain while you decide my fate because i can’t help but do so. i want my submission to be something earned by pure force.

On rare occasions, I would take the tiniest step toward defending myself.

The response was always the same.  

“Or what?!”

“Or nothing? Just don’t.”

He did not know how to navigate a world without threats.  I didn’t use a threat to establish a boundary and he interpreted that as a green light to continue the behaviour. He thought I offered nothing of value if I didn’t see it as something to withhold.

Don’t get me wrong here.  There are consequences for your actions, and repeated disrespect in a relationship probably should end in its termination. But a constant tit for tat situation is petty at best, and that’s not the type of partner I am.

So I never took that bait and I think I disappointed him with my response.  He had probably rehearsed a nasty retort to  “Or I’ll leave you” that he never got to use. Pity.

Well felt like a deep subject to Chris. Could his boyfriend Brad circle back to Barbiecore bulge’s? It was much more interesting and felt quiet relevant. Maybe Brad could feel it too.

When I was nine years old I went camping with my Cub Scout pack and was given the task to go up into the forest and gather firewood. A long dry branch had fallen onto the ground that looked like a good evening’s campfire, and I started pulling it down a steep hill towards our camp. Not being careful where I was going I tripped backwards and fell right into a big wiry pile of twigs and needles that was a bees nest! Dozens of angry bees immediately came swarming after me as I ran frantically back down to camp trying to escape their many stings!

Mr. Saunders our scout master (a stubby man that looked a little like the sergeant in the old Beetle Bailey comic strip) saw the whole thing and started swatting the bees inside my clothes with a soft rubber club. After a few minutes about a half dozen or more dead bees fell out of my shirt, and he counted over twenty-five stingers from head to toe! After about three hours of painful welts I was finally ok.

Our spiritual walk and mis-adventures happen exactly the same way. We may start off focused on a task, but then get distracted and instead of looking where we’re going, we can easily fall backwards into a nest of sin. When you do, the devil and all his angels will then be given the freedom to attack you relentlessly because you fell into their lair.

Surprisingly I learned two real-life lessons from this that are with me today both in the real world and the spiritual realm.

First, bees will NOT sting or even bother you if you leave them alone, and to this day if a bee flies near me I know they mean no harm and I just ignore them. Second, if you choose to meddle in their realm you WILL get stung!

Remember, There Is No Way To NOT Get Stung If You Fall Into Sin, and as Job 23:11 reminds us:

“Guard your steps as you go to the house of God and draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools for they do not know they are doing evil.”

The Famous “El Arroyo” restaurant in Austin Texas is well known for their excellent Tex-Mex food, but also for their witty and wise signs like this one in today’s picture. Likewise like the title of this message we are also warned that when we chose to go our own way outside of the safe guidelines that God is giving us in living life that there will ALWAYS BE CONSEQUENCES.

All of us have a conscious (which is simply God speaking to our spirit) as well as access to the most published book in human history of a “Life’s Owners Manual” that everyone in the world has access to (but many never read) called the B.asic I.nstructions B.efore L.eaving E.arth. When we follow the instructions in this book carefully, it doesn’t mean everything in your life will be smooth sailing, but it does promise us that no matter what the trial we will always have a means to eventually have victory over it.

On the other hand as the verse in Ezekiel says, when we go our own way and choose our own actions outside of the “B.I.B.L.E. Life Manual,” when God sees you in peril because of bad choices, He has no pity over the consequences that you have brought upon yourself.

Instead of going your own way, do as your Heavenly Father instructs:

“Don’t forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; For when you do they will add length to your days and Years and PEACE to your life.” Proverbs 3:1-2

When you do, there will always be TRUTH, but no CONSEQUENCES.

Consequences: 2582) As with each experience we come to encounter in the world. We pre-determine its meaning in a variety of judgments some of which are askew. Not every event we encounter largely in life shall be dire in origin. Some are merely prerequisites that must be offered first before all other consequences take shape. Christmas: 2585) All the stars twinkle in the night's sky for a reason. Some would say it is the distance light travels constantly in motion. but I didn't know that being finally happy has consequences. It sucks! This feeling is worse than being miserable. I don't like being hated. Okay, so, this is obvy an AU, but I have different ones running through my head, and one that I just can't get out of my mind is where he is trans, but he came from a rich background, Todoroki style right? But his parents are soo homophobic and transphobic, so instead of listening to him and reading the signs, they sign him up for a marriage contract from a stupid young age. To- you guessed it- Endeavour.

However whenever Toshi goes to UA, and does his whole Nana training thing, they find out and get him out of the situation. But, you cant get out of a marriage contract w/out both parties agreeing, so Nana gets Toshi transitioned and when he hits 17/18 he looks like a total hunk, yadda yadda. Endeavour hates that, his parents absolutely do not approve, break off the contract, they yell at his biological parents, etc. etc.

Everything else goes how it goes, we get to UA, then Shoto Todoroki's whole abuse case comes out with Touya. And All Might is pissed, so he posts a video explaining his past showing the almost marriage contract, and the song playing in the background is "You Should Be Sad" by Halsey.
