And this is why Tony has heart problems.

Peter, texting Tony at 3 am: constantly stuck between ‘life’s too short: eat the Mac and cheese’ and ‘life’s gonna be REAL SHORT if all you fucking eat is Mac and cheese.’

Peter, texting Tony at 3:30 am: Update: I ate the Mac and cheese because only the good die young.

I am constantly stuck between 'Tony would totally help Peter make a real life lightsaber because he is also a StarWarsFanTM (and because he cares about him)' VS 'Tony would never help or let Peter creat a real life lightsaber because Peter would end up cutting his own head off (and because he cares about him)'

I NEED to right a fic on this.

Peter taking everything literally results in Tony having to abandon his self-deprecating humor, because it legitimately upsets Peter.

At the beginning of their mentorship:

[Tony: Looks like you're stuck with me kid

Peter: Stuck with you???? It's an absolute honor!!]

A few months into their mentorship:

[Steve: You're gonna hate yourself in the morning for drinking all of this (alcohol).

Tony: Joke's on you, I hate myself all the time.

Peter, visibly aghast and upset: MiStEr StArK!!!!! You're a treasure and a delight and the world is a better place with you in it!!!

*Tony, barely keeping himself from crying* (pours out all of his alcohol): Do you want an island in Fiji, kid? I'm gonna get you an island and build a house for George Lucas there and you can be neighbors and I'll make him write another Star Wars movie.]

A year into their mentorship:

[Tony: In order for this plan to work, you're going to have to pretend to be my dad.

Steve: Besides the fact that this doesn't make any sense... I don't want to be your dad.

Tony: Great, you already know your lines.

The rest of the team: *uncomfortable silence*

Peter, sincere butterfly: You are important and precious and I'm so proud of the man you have become.

Tony, threateningly while also tearing up: That's it! I'm adopting your little grateful ass!!!]

This all ends up in Tony actually practicing positive self-talk and being a happier person because of Peter.

Wanda: That's just the summary of my life.

Peter: Same with my life, it's literally just a series of Ls.

Natasha: I would say that, but I haven't cried since I was a child.

Steve: You all concern me.

Sam: THIS is why we need to start group therapy sessions.

Bruce: I agree with Sam on this one, though one on one therapy with licensed therapists is also very beneficial.

Bucky: Bruce, you do know we're all superheroes right? More specifically, unpaid Superheroes.

Clint: I have a post battle head ache and if you all don't stop sending messages, I'm going to use some SHIELD tech to delete this groupchat.

Tony: You know that I'm a billionaire and can pay for literally everyone's therapy, right?

Tony: And we'll be talking about what you said later Pete.

Tony: Also, no need to get the SHIELD tech birdbrain. I'm going to delete this groupchat anyway.

Tony is replaced by an imposter (maybe a rogue Skrull or a shapeshifter or agent of some kind), but when Peter shows up for lab day, he doesn't realize immediately, too thrown by Tony's brutally cold attitude.

His spider sense is warning him, but Fake!Tony's remarks are so cutting he can't help but react with hurt and self-doubt. Later he assumes his sense was just warning him that his mentor was finally ready to kick him to the curb

He should've listened to his spider sense instead of his anxiety, though. Because the real Tony has been kidnapped.

It's Ned who gets Peter to realize something is wrong. Ned doesn't for a second believe that Tony would just drop Peter like that. His questions and determination (and maybe some open-mindedness- "What if it wasn't the real Mr. Stark but a bad guy in disguise?") eventually get Peter to rethink the situation too

Peter goes back over the day, and he realizes... Ned is right. Tony would never say those things to him. He needs to trust in the kind of person he knows Tony is. Which means something is really, really wrong.

Meanwhile, Fake!Tony has been busy, alienating every person in Tony's life who could possibly look for him. He says awful things to Pepper, Rhodey, Happy, May... By the time Peter tries to go to them, they're all too hurt and pissed to even listen

So, it's up to him (and Ned) to rescue Tony Stark

They figure out that he's been kidnapped, track down the location, and Peter heists his way in.

He finds Tony in a cell, hurt badly. But maybe worse than that... hopeless.

Tony is laying there like he doesn't think anyone is looking for him. Like even escape seems pointless, since there'd be no one left to escape to. His captors have clearly explained their plan, probably boasting about the awful things they'd had Fake!Tony say. After hearing it, Tony doesn't blame his family at all for leaving him to die.

He's definitely not prepared when Spider-Man suddenly drops into the room.

As they escape, Tony is so moved by how much this kid believes in him. Enough to not just accept that he was capable of acting that way.

They defeat the imposter and get the real Tony to medical. The others are guilty and horrified. Peter stays close. Even though he knows it wasn't Tony speaking before, he still craves reassurance - both that Tony is okay and that he really does care - reassurance which Tony is more than happy to provide

Searching for a Spiderman Fic. Help?

I remember that Peter and the AcaDec Team were going on a Field Trip and there was this very important Guest (Or Speaker?) and Peter had to reveal his identity because someone attacked them and the building collapsed on them. Peter was able to hold the giant debris so people weren't squished, but they were trapped under. He reassured a little girl and said they weren't going to die and it was all going to be just fine. The Avengers found out and they literally rushed to the place and had to slowly look for Peter. They were able to find Peter, but when they lifted the debris from him, he colllapsed. The Guest Speaker went to have a press confrence speaking about how he thought in the beginning Peter was arrogant saying things like "It's going to be alright" or "Everything's gonna be ok" but realized that he was determined, not arrogant.

That's all I remember from this fanfic. Hope you can help me find it.
